real talk i actually do put like. an unreasonable amount of effort into my textpost memes behind the scenes so it's actually really rewarding to get to share them thanks for putting up with my antics
#zanna talks#like first off i'm always doing my best to make sure they are not only in character but actually over a frame that makes SENSE in context#(many of my memes are incredibly situationally specific bc of this)#but on top of that i want them all to be consistently formatted so i have to track down the og textpost to get my own screenshot if#the one i have on hand is too low quality/weirdly formatted/in one of the tumblr color palettes other than classic#which adds a lot of extra work. but i want them to be nice and consistent and i want ppl to be able to screenshot the textpost for their#OWN textpost memes and have it look nice bc how i started out was by doing that and it's HARD to find non-crunchy ones sometimes#and THEN i have all the extra work of getting 1080p screenshots (forgive me. some are 720p and you can TELL. my wifi is bad) which#(bc of bad wifi) takes HOURS. and then i have to format them all so they're the same pixel ratio without weird white lines anywhere.#and THEN i have to put the textpost on top and arrange it so it looks nice graphically#and THEN i have to arrange them all in sets in chronological order but without too many from one movie or scene or of one character#(this is bc i am a freak)#so like. by the time u see these things i have put HOURS of work and careful consideration and curation into them#i do not do this lightly im deeply unwell#so yeah um. this has been a Post. explaining my unhinged process.#did i mention ive made over 200 for narnia hahahhahahah anyway#(and yes the fact that the tumnus one i made is on dark mode means i spent A FULL HOUR trying to find the og or a different screenshot#and could not and that KILLS ME.)

hard mode w some light sequence breaking (early varia, ridley before kraid, screw attack skip). the ridley fight was an absolute bitch but it was so rewarding to finally pull it off!

i want to try doing my lines as only pencil, but the lines get so sharp and crunchy when i scan them on my phone, very annoying !

starting the search for "new" headphones (refurbished) and ughhhhhals
#cos ive used my jbl ones every day for the past three years and they're starting to come apart#and i have not been gentle or kind to them#but they're still usable just flaking and coming apart at the seams and a little crunchy sounding and losing battery quickly#anyways im starting the search now so i have a good handle on whats good and whats reasonable etc#im just like a little ughh#the sony xm4s were looking really good to me but they all have the ugly copper/bronze detailing which kind of ruins#the xm5s are looking better but they dont fold idk how much of a problem that will be for me#all the audiophile ones are uglyy i hate this#and i dont want the same ones i have right now bc there are some fit issues n whatnot#can we just have silver accents or none at all please please please please#txt#also its like do i want the greige that is nice but mad trendy or the black which is classic but ughhh#or blue again but i dont know if i want to be so tied to this shade of blue again especially cos im always wearing blue and it might clash

#owen talks#I took their shoes off bc they are not going to bed w armored heels on#they look kinda haunted but I know it’s bc of the crunchy lodestone images#I think I’ll boot up benchmark later and rotate them for exposure therapy#and ngl if I’m really unhappy about the changes there’s someone making pre-DT packs of the faces#so I could just. have them have a sculpt#I’m still praying that it’s not as bad as it looks#yes I have fussed w features#tragically the jaw shape doesn’t change the chin shape#and I can’t change to any of the other faces bc they are not the eyrie vibe#face 1 is closer w the chin and I did mess around with it#but eveything else doesn’t feel right#I’m not like. screaming upset about it#as best it makes eyrie look very young which. is a meh vibe to me#they are 150 they are not going to look 25 right up until they die#they need some age!! some wrinkle!!#maybr I’ll find someone to fuss w their stiuf#at least so I can have their freckles + facial scars + light scars on their face#but that is a long ways off and I will sit w vanilla#they just got a really really nice nap#which like. wouldn’t be unheard of for them#they go on a week long vacation on their island and sleep for like. 4 days
