friends and I watched the live action movie and decided to all draw Joker Ichimatsu and here is my take on him!

I messed up the day I was supposed to pick up my anxiety medicine and since it’s not the kind of medication you can just stop taking without tapering it off, I felt so sick I couldn’t manage to fall asleep at all yesterday. So I decided, as one does, that I might as well put that extra time to good use: trying to triangulate the precise time period of the Osomatsu-san historical AU skits and episodes Iyami shows up in through context cues for the sole purpose eventually drawing my little Osomatsu-sona kissing the historical AU Iyamis in what would be period appropriate clothing had they been born during those times. I didn’t do it out of not thinking right due to feeling sick, mind you. I do weird shit like this all the time. The only unusual thing about this scenario was doing it while I should be asleep. Anyway, if anyone’s wondering…

Season 1, Episode 19 -  Period Drama Osomatsu-san (Skit #3 - “The Scaredy-Cat Magistrate, Todomatsu”):

Time period: The 1680s, more likely from the middle of the decade onwards than the beginning.

Season 2, Episode 18 - Iyami Alone in the Wind

Time period: Exactly 1957 at the beginning, with the ending being around 1964 - 1967.

Season 3, Episode 7 -  Tidbits Collection 3 (Skit #5 - “The Master of Wit, Chibikyuu”):

Time Period: Exactly 1402 AND most of them are playing real historical figures. Iyami is supposed to be shōgun Yoshimitsu Ashikaga.
