I know we've all seen and discussed The Kiss so many times by now, but it's nearly the one-year anniversary of GO 2 and ever since I saw this slow motion gif and this clip, it's felt like watching it all over again with fresh eyes.

Everything about this is so breathtaking on so many levels. The way Michael's eyebrows raise, the way he seems to almost lift himself into the kiss, like he was physically bringing himself closer to David's/Crowley's lips, and how they very nearly melt into each other even as they're trying not to. You can almost see their hearts leaping close together, as if something powerful is happening as much within them as without.

It reminds me of episode one and the angel-that-would-be-Crowley snapping his fingers and saying "Let there be light." Four little words, one simple gesture, and a whole universe that wasn't there before exploded into being. Sparks flying, in more ways than one...

And I love it. I love that this kiss is so incredible that we are still talking about it one year later, and that it will forever be one of the most gorgeously searing kisses ever committed to film. I love that we have this kiss specifically because it was Michael and David in these roles, and the once-in-a-lifetime chemistry between them.

There are film kisses, and then there are film kisses, and almost nothing I have ever seen on screen comes close to this, or ever will. I am so, so grateful to Michael and David for giving this to us, and to each other...

I'm so glad i watched Sk8 the Infinity as an adult and not a teen so I didn't turn into one of those annoying idiots who complain about "renga not being canon because they didn't kiss"

Apparently I've turned into a Polin/bridgerton stan account for the moment so if course I need to rant about some things for a minute here!

First: it's insane to me that some people seem to think they have no chemistry when the carriage scene literally exists and that's all I'm gonna say to that

Also seen some criticism about the pacing and that things felt rushed and I have to respectfully disagree. We've literally had season 1 & 2 to set the scene. We knew that Pen had feelings for Colin since then.

And I think that Colin just needed a little bit of that extra push to get there too. And sometimes that's just how it is when you fall for someone you've been friends with. At first it's slow. Barely even there beneath the surface and then something happens and you're looking at that person and it's like "holy shit I actually do have feelings for them" and everything is different. Been there done that lol

Then the other storylines. I get it. As a Polin lover I don't think there could ever be enough of them. That being said. I like how their scenes are spread. I think it kinda emphasizes the fact that they've been friends for a while. They're in each other's life so naturally. We didn't need a long drawn out "getting to know each other" storyline like with the other two seasons. They're familiar with each other and comfortable. This just set the scene for the rest of the story. I firmly believe that part 2 will give us more focus on them and how they get to know each other all over again as lovers.

but he's doing all that any time he's even a little bit alone talking with Will.

Maybe it wouldn't be purposeful. If it weren't for the distinct absence with everyone else.

i wasnt the biggest fan of the third descendants movie, for many reasons, but one thing i really dont get about it is why uma and harry didn't end up together.

why did they have uma say "what's my name?" in that tone with that look at harry when he's asking what girls there are single, and then have her not like him??? hello?

am i just bad at social stuff or... because he asks if someone is single and she says that, as if shes saying 'am i nothing to you?' and to me it sounds like they're sorta dating but haven't talked about it so she's offended because why would he ask about the other girls when he already has her

but then she rejects his kiss like that, and it seems like she doesnt like him. but why would she have said that then?

Listen i know what they built I know what they created for nandermo, and the fact that we didn't get a kiss in the main timeline can be overlooked by the Bond of nandermo and all the fucking clues about romantic involvement or at least attraction and in that I love the writing it feels natural it feels dumb like they are

But I cannot help but think the writers sort of shat all over the finale season when they could have made a queer masterpiece and now I feel like it's a way less worse klance situation all over again

It stings it hurts and the writers are fucking cowards, like what was that all for in the end what was it worth blablabla so funny haha YOU COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING MAGICAL YOU FUCKING CUNT UNTIL THE END YOU COULDVE

The Live Action versions of Sanji and Luffy need to kiss. Like what do you mean that wasn't romantic tension in that kitchen scene in the Baratie. They were totally flirting with each other. Chef x Foodie like come on. They are so cute together I swear. Like they would totally kiss in the kitchen area of the Going Merry after Sanji let Luffy try his new dish.
