Okay so like not to be crazy and parasocial but do yall ever get so proud of vessel (rlly all of st) because like sometimes I watch the old videos of them and it's just so obvious how much they've grown as musicians and people. obvi I don't know what's going on in their lives but they (Vessel esp) just seem so much happier and healthier now and it makes me so fuckin happy and proud bc I fully believe they deserve the whole world and theyve changed so many peoples lives for the better I'm just so happy they're getting to be happy and successful too.

cant tell you how bad it feels to constantly tell other artists to come to tumblr, because its the last good website that isn't fucked up by spoonfeeding algorithms and AI bullshit and isn't based around meaningless likes

whenever I remember those stupid fucking pins that Mark Ruffalo and Billie Eilish or whatever wore I think of Shlomo Mansour. He survived the farhud as a child, where people painted red hands on the houses of all the Jews they knew to show who to kill. And yet he still survived. He still survived and he probably thought that the worst was behind him, and now imagery of one of the most horrific moments in Babylonian Jews’ memories has been proudly displayed, not to commemorate or memorialise, but to pointedly ignore Jewish suffering.
