After this ask I was wondering whether Cloud could ever stop his crash outs? Cloud just appears and suddenly all is well in the world again, Cloud doesn't do anything, but stand there, but suddenly Lazard is no longer spiralling/crashing out.

*Sephiroth steps into Lazard's office to drop off some reports, only to find Cloud standing beside the director's chair like a decorative plant*

Sephiroth: What's he doing here?

Lazard: Cloud's sole purpose here is stress relief. Wherever he goes, relaxation follows. He's like a capybara.

Sephiroth: That's—

Lazard: Unlike you, Angeal, and Genesis, who bring discomfort, sadness, stress, high anxiety, high blood pressure.

Sephiroth: We don't—

Being a fan of ff7 is really funny because you'll scroll through the cloud strife tag on AO3 and you'll see character tags for three fics like

And then you remember that yes, and there is actual media where all of these characters interact and no, the only fic labelled as a crack fic is the first one
