Hi alto ,I heard a statement saying the avalanche are dumb cuz ppl won't sacrifice their lavish life to be poor again . So i was wondering if ppl figure out Shinra propaganda are fake but they just played along cuz they can't giving up their lavish life brought by Shinra .

I think the whole Avalanche vs. Shinra commentary is actually pretty nuanced and true to what's realistic in our own world. People like comfort. They like routine. Avalanche upsets that established normalcy, even if what they're doing is ultimately for the benefit of the planet. It's important to note that despite their intentions, Avalanche still isn't innocent--they kill a LOT of people who were otherwise just doing their jobs or were just innocent bystanders. I don't think people who enjoy the comforts Shinra provides them are evil--they're human. Same as you and me. Likewise, Avalanche also empathizes with the oppressed but is simultaneously making their lives harder in the process by riling up Shinra. Shinra is very much a fascist organization with a LOT to answer for, but there is still a human grayness through the people that engage with it.

Idk it's all very complex and layered, which I really like. No one is full good or full evil. There are different shades to it. The only TRULY evil people are the ones at the very top of Shinra. But that doesn't mean that our heroes aren't capable of doing awful things as well.
