Man āBattle Nexus: New Yorkā was a great episode but I do have one major gripe with it.
Like. Raph being paired up with Ghostbear? Makes sense. Works great. Works amazing, even.
Mikey being paired up with Meatsweats? Yeah that checks out!!
Donnie gettingā¦Hypnoā¦? I mean. I guess Donnie doesnāt like magic so it kindaaa works but Kendra would have been a much better choice to me personally. Maybe Big Mama didnāt wanna include a human or somethingā¦
And Leo gettingā¦uhā¦one of the Sando Brothers???? Of all villains? Nah letās be real, his main villain is more Big Mama herself (or Leo could be considered his own worst enemy lmao-). Hell Hypno would have probably worked better here considering their shared love for magic tricks and stuff, but Carl Sando????

A niceā nicely animated episode.#I've already said thisā and despite despising the ending...#I gotta admit that every time the episode ends and you're hit straight to the face with the ss/kks I'm like š„°š„°š„°#Tetcho is quite cuteā¦ All the timeā I'm thinking āI care for all the hd except for Tetchouā.#But then he hits the screen and he's so cute together with Kenji and I'm likeā¦ Actually I do careā¦ā¦#Ugh I love the Teruko / Atsushi parts. They're very emotional and they're both characters I love a lot.#I just wish it had taken a different routeā¦ I really wish they would have let them fightā *actually* fight ą²„_ą²„#I wish we would have gotten the chance to explore Teruko moreā¦ And Atsushi too.#I so wish there was a moment of more flashbacks orphanage horror due to the age regression / torture Teruko would make him go through.#What can I say I love to see a man suffer š#I just think the conflict resolution was very underwhelming and didn't match the build up.#Teruko just letting Atsushi go like thatā¦#For Atsushi to say āI can't decide for myselfā so I'll have the president decide in my placeāā that's not very satisfying either#But. So I got back from my girls trip yesterday and Iām in the feelsā¦
#I got back about 4ish yesterday#and itās kind of sad#like Iām gonna miss hanging and travelling with my friends#like I will definitely see them before they go back to uni#but it was so much fun chilling together and cooking#and also doing morning and nightime routines#we definitely got up to lots of shenanigans šš#but it will make for some pretty good memories#but the last official day was so sad#we made friendship bracelets and watched the hobbit whilst eating smores#it also feels weird to go from sharing a room to sleeping alone as well#anyway I had such a good time and the weather was amazing#gatherrambles#gathertravels
