AITA: being mad at my bf(?) for not admiting he was on a sex tape (parody) (fandom) (slightly nsfw)

Okay so I(16m) go to this boarding school for rich kids with a scolarship, and semi-recently the prince(16m) of my country starts attending this school after he got into a drunken fight or something. Now, I'm not super popular at this school, and tbe people there can be fucking assholes, but this prince (we'll call him W) is kinda nice ig? Like he said he liked what I said in class about how rich people are money hoarding bastards (peraphrazing). Anyways his super snobby cousin(18m) asks me to bring booze to a party for W, saying me and my sis (16f) can come too if I do. A few days later I invite W to come what my friend R(f) play football and we ride motorbikes together and hold hand and shit, and my gay ass is starting to think we might be into each other. Soooo, while my class what watching a horror movie at a mansion (rich people), W gets and panick attack and leaves, and I follow, and we end up kissing. The next day he tells me that we shouldn't see each other, but then changes his mind and wants to come to my house. Then the shit REALLY hits the fan because his older brother dies which means he's now next in line for the throne. This means that we can't be together cos he needs to have kids and shit, so he tells me to "lose his number". Next time he really says anything to me is while he's high and drunk and shit so I pick him up from the football court and we end up sleeping in his dormroom. I should mention that while he was high he was talking about how "everything is fake except that he likes me" and I ask him if he remembers saying that, and tell him that I like him too. Shit happens and he gives me a handjob and it's like the most perfect moment of my life. But then, like a week later, a video is released of us fucking, my face super visible and his not. Basically I can't go out anymore because there are tablop magazines about me and idk who even filmed it. W tells me that his mother wants him to make an official statement that it wasn't him in the tape (even though everyone at school knows it was in his protected dormroom), but he tells me that he will tell the press that is was him and that we're in this together. He then denied it was him. He then COMES TO MY HOUSE and tells me that we can still be together in secret and that I have to understand that he can't come out. I tell him that I get him, but I don't want to be his secret. He then tells me he loves me and I say to him "merry christmas".

Am I the asshole for not being more understanding?

so i’m trying to write duke and i don’t think i’m writing him right. how would you describe his personality because with don’t trust fanon lmfaooo

(this was only supposed to be a paragraph or two i swear to god)

1. first things first, duke is a hardcore gryffindor. don’t let the yellow color scheme mislead you, okay. and while most of the time he’s depicted in fanon as “omg this family is crazy and i’m the only sane one,” it’s actually pretty much the opposite? if anything, i think the other batkids would be like “oh finally, someone who can match our level of chaotic energy. HEY DUKE WANNA BUNGEE JUMP OFF WAYNE TOWER—” and an hour later they’d all be in the batcave getting lectured by bruce for leading poor sweet innocent duke astray when really he was already planning on doing that this weekend.

listen, this is the kid who once jumped off a bridge to escape police. this is the dude who decided to fight criminals while they’re still eating their wheaties at 6am in a bright yellow suit. and while duke seems to be the best at following bruce’s command at the moment due to having been trained by him most recently compared to the others and is still figuring out how to be a hero, i’m positive that if bruce weren’t here to guide him, duke would be running around gotham taking down criminals anyway. i mean, he literally did do that with the “we are robin” kids. plus there was the whole thing when he was like ten years old and decided “i am going to singlehandedly stop the riddler in my light up sketchers and pikachu backpack. try and stop me.” 

duke is headstrong and has a strong drive toward heroism. he’s an extremely enthusiastic and passionate person in general, and i try to capture a little of that when i write him, even with mundane things like trying to beat his siblings to the last cupcake. 

2. another thing i noticed is that duke swears like a sailor in comics? seriously, this boy could give jason a run for his money with how many “@#!%” speech bubbles there are. i don’t know if this is just a trend the writers added in the comics i’ve read of him, or if it’s a genuine trait throughout every comic he’s in, but that’s something to make note of when writing dialogue for duke. after all, he did grow up in the narrows, so it makes sense that he’d use a lot of swearing and slang in his everyday vernacular.

3. i would also make a point of noting that duke is fairly young compared to the rest of the batfamily, being the second youngest after damian. duke is still a teenager in high school, and he acts like it. he’s got homework and friends and is eager to make a difference in gotham, trying to juggle everything and make it all work somehow. he’s stubborn and doesn’t give up easily, so it’s important to write him as someone who is trying to save the world while also struggling with finding time to study for his next math test. he's human. he doesn’t get to dedicate all of his time to fighting crime like cass or jason might be able to, since duke is still a mostly normal teenager with teenager problems.

4. and don’t forget that unlike the other batkids, duke still has two living parents. sure, they’re jokerized and might not ever be the same again, but they’re alive and that’s what holds him back from letting himself get as close to the waynes as he wants to. duke won’t be calling bruce “dad” anytime soon, and i think he’d have some internal struggle over stuff like holidays and birthdays with the waynes, remembering what his parents are missing out on and wondering if joining the wayne family is a betrayal to them. duke is very conflicted over this, even if he doesn’t say it directly. stuff like ducking out of movie night early or feeling a bittersweet pang during thanksgiving dinner makes sense for someone in his situation. 

(i usually ignore that aspect in my fics because i want duke to just be adopted and part of the family already, but not everyone does that, and that’s perfectly fine.)

5. honestly, duke is such a caring individual and we as a fandom need more of him being a shoulder for people to lean on because he’s?? so soft?? duke can be so sympathetic and rational when it comes to emotional problems. it seems like duke internalizes every bit of advice he gets from the people around him and uses it to inspire others and help them through their own problems. as tough and hotheaded as duke can sometimes be, he really is good when it comes to emotions.

6. duke is a smartass. he will 100% use sarcasm against any and every authority figure he meets, usually just for the hell of it. 

7. he’s very frank in general, usually the first to be like “okay full disclosure, we’re about to die right now. that sucks. anyway—” in a situation. he’s honest and tends to be upfront about his fears/anxieties, usually for comic relief, but i think it still counts.

8. okay i have to add that duke is also kind of a punk? he and jason have a lot in common because of this: they both grew up in one of gotham’s worse areas (jay in crime alley and duke in the narrows) and they’re both highkey deliquents. duke has no problem getting into fights or talking back to authority figures, and it’s gotten him in hot water on more than one occasion. it’s why he kept getting moved around the foster system before bruce took him in because no one wanted to keep him.

9. he’s also gotten so close with the other batkids and we love to see it!! duke calls cass “sis” and treats damian like the annoying little brother he never had and i adore every second of it. we haven’t gotten a lot of interactions between duke and the others aside from training and stuff, but he and jason have the whole “punk kid who got adopted by batman and is baffled by how rich people live” going for them, so they can bond over that. and duke is a thinker like tim, so they can hang out and do puzzles or play chess or whatever it is that smart people do. (and duke and steph are BESTIES i don’t care what anyone says.)

10. most of all, duke is still learning how the whole hero thing works. he’s young and he’s trying his best, but he also makes mistakes. he will be impulsive and screw up, and he’ll try and merge the lessons batman’s taught him and that his parents taught him and that other heroes teach him until it all makes sense in his own mind. duke isn’t experienced like dick or even damian, so he’s going to be lagging behind for a while until he grows until the role he’s made for himself.

- duke is dating izzy, who used to be part of the “we are robin” gang with him - he used to live at the manor and now lives with his cousin jay, but honestly i just have him living at the manor in everything i write because i like it better that way - he can control shadows and light now! what a king! - duke secretly writes poetry and is good at creative writing in general  - this:

Haven't made a set in a long while and IT SHOWS! I wasn't really planning on it either tbh, but I've gotten into the habit, or more of a little tradition with myself, of making a set to go with my birthday playlist. “Babe can you go wake up Sian, it’s time for breakfast,” Rina says as she places Sian’s breakfast on the table.

“Yes ma’am,” Jungkook replies, running to Sian’s room. He opens the door slowly, turning on the lights, making the little boy stir. 

“Good morning buddy, it’s time to get up,” Jungkook says, walking over to his bed and placing a kiss to his son’s forehead.

“M-morning,” Sian says, rubbing his eyes with his little hands. “Is cousins coming today?” He says in a little voice.

Jungkook laughs, “yes, they’ll be here. That’s why you have to get up and eat breakfast so then we can get ready and they can come over.” Sian nods, getting up slowly. Jungkook smiles, reaching out to mess up Sian’s hair. 

“Let’s go to mommy, she has your breakfast,” Jungkook says.

“I’m going to get Sian washed up and changed real quick. Namjoon, Byul, and Moonji should be here soon,” Rina says, holding Sian’s hand and walking with him to the bathroom. 

“Okay, I’ll tidy up,” Jungkook says, turning around to the mess Sian had made in the short time he had after breakfast.

���Oh she meant soon soon,” Jungkook says, dropping the toy cars on the floor and walking towards the door.

“Uncle Kookie!” Moonji yells as soon as Jungkook opens the door.

“Hey princess,” Jungkook says, bending down to give her a little hug. 

“How are you? Felt like forever since we saw each other,” Namjoon says, pulling Jungkook up to give him a hug. 

“I’ve been good. It’s been a month at least right?” 

“I think so, but way over a month since we all were together,” Namjoon laughs. 

“Oh I miss everyone so much, I can’t wait until they all get here,” Byul says excitedly.

“Me too! Me too!” Moonji says, jumping up and down.

“It seems like she got so big,” Jungkook said, looking down at Moonji.

“She did, I think she’s getting my height,” Namjoon says.

“Where’s Sian and Rina?” Byul asks, looking around.  

“Rina’s getting Sian washed up and changed, they shouldn’t take long,” Jungkook responds. 

“Sian oppa!” Moonji yells running down the hallway, making Jungkook and her dad laugh.

“It looks like she missed him a lot,” Byul laughs. 

~ Kim Residence ~

“Mommy let’s go!” Soojin yells, running towards the door. 

 “Not so fast little lady,” Jin says, grabbing his daughter before she reaches the door knob. “Before we go see your cousins you have to eat breakfast with your brothers first,” he says, carrying her back to the kitchen table.

“Sweetie you haven’t even brushed your hair, or your teeth yet,” Mae says, tying Soojin’s hair back as she starts eating. 

“Mommy is all our cousins going to be there?” Minseok asks, chewing his food. 

“Yes, they’ll all be there,” Mae smiles.

“Yay!” They all said, even little Haneul.

“Will baby Mingyu be there too?” Soojin asks, looking up at Mae.

“Of course, we’ll all be there,” Mae says, walking off to the kids' room to get their things ready.

“So don’t take too long in eating so we can get ready, okay?” Jin says, ruffling Haneul’s hair.

~ Jung Residence ~

“Hurry up baby girl,” Hoseok says, knocking on Huimang’s room. 

“She’s changing, she’ll be out soon,” Sarang says, standing next to her fiance. 

“They grow up too fast, last week I was just helping her get dressed, and now she wants to do it on her own?” Hoseok says in a sad voice.

“It’s just this one time, maybe you can help her get ready for bed tonight,” Sarang says. 

“I better--”

“Done,” Huimang says, opening the door, interrupting her dad. Sarang and Hoseok looks, her up and down, giggling a bit.

“Sweetheart, your shirt is backwards,” Hoseok says. 

“You also should really change into pants Hope, it’s too cold for shorts outside,” Sarang says.

“Come on princess, let’s help you get ready properly,” Hoseok says happily, glancing at Sarang with a little smirk.

“Hana?” Hoseok says before gasping, “YOONGI HYUNG!” Sarang turns her head to where they ran off and it was her turn.

“Sohyun!” Sarang yells before running off as well.

“Oh my gosh,” Sohyun says, as Sarang runs into her arms. “Didn’t know we’d run into you,” she says, giggling.

“Ahhh hyung I missed you,” Hoseok says, rubbing his cheek against Yoongi’s, making him groan. 

“Missed you too,” Yoongi says, pushing him away. 

“Let’s walk together,” Hana says, grabbing hold of Huimang’s hand. 

“Okay,” Huimang responds, walking off with Hana.

“Ugh, look at our daughters hyung,” Hoseok says, putting his hand over his heart. “We should hold hands too,” he says, looking at Yoongi. Yoongi laughs.

“My hand is occupied,” he says, raising him and Sohyun’s hand. 

“No problem hyung! That’s why you have two hands,” Hoseok says, taking Yoongi’s right hand and walking off.

“Are you sure you don’t want to give him my engagement ring instead Honey?” Sarang says. Sohyun laughs letting go of Yoongi’s hand and goes to Sarang.

“I gotchu sis,” she says, making each other laugh.

~ Park Residence ~

“Where’s all his things?” You ask, looking around the living room. You got everything ready to take to Jungkook and Rina’s place and you had them all out on the couch but suddenly they went missing. 

“In the car,” Jimin says, carrying Mingyu in his arms. “Are we ready to go?” 

“I think so? Or should I pack more things?” You say, walking back to his nursery. Mingyu began to whine as he saw you walk away.

“No I think we’re good,” Jimin yells out, “let’s go while Gyu is in a good mood.” You walk back towards your two boys and nod, the stress was clear on your face.

“Hey,” Jimin says, getting you to look towards him. 

“What?” You say, slightly out of breath from walking all around the house.

“Calm down,” he says with a light laugh. “We’ll be okay, if anything happens, everyone will be there to help us.”

You nod, “okay. It’s just, it’s the first time we’ll all be together again, and I don’t want to ruin anything if we have to leave early because Gyu is not used to being around so much people I--”

“Shh Shh,” Jimin says, putting a hand on your cheek. “We’ll be okay. If you worry now, we really won’t have any fun when we get there. Just relax.” Jimin leans in to place a kiss to your lips. “He’ll be a good boy, right?” He says, looking at Mingyu. Mingyu giggles, reaching his arms out to be carried by you.

“I’m taking that as a yes,” you say, placing a big kiss on his cheeks, making him giggle even more.

“Mommy is that uncle Tae Tae yet?” Sian yells, running towards the door. He reaches up and opens the door by himself, a little gasp comes out of his mouth.

“Who is it Sian?” Jungkook asks, walking towards the door, his mouth full of food. He gasps when he sees who’s at the door.

“Tada!” Taehyung says, holding Mingyu in his arms. 

“Oh my-- come here,” Jungkook says, reaching out to carry Mingyu. 

“No,” Taehyung says walking past him. He makes his way to the living room and everyone that was there gasped or squealed when he walked in.

“Why do you have him?” Jin says, reaching out for Mingyu. Taehyung pushes his hands away.

“I parked my car and Jimin parked behind me--”

“Oh yeah, where are they?” Sohyun asks, looking towards the door.

“They’re bringing Mingyu’s stuff in, I think they brought a lot of things. They also brought some food and asked me if I can help so I took the best snack they had and brought it in,” He says, gesturing to Mingyu. 

“We should go help,” Namjoon says, getting up from the couch. 

“I’ll come with,” Hoseok says, following Namjoon.

“Let me hold--” Jungkook tried to say, standing next to Taehyung.

“No.” Taehyung says, walking away with Mingyu in his arms and sitting next to Sarang. 

“Aww he’s so cute!” She says. Jungkook rolls his eyes and sits next to Rina, pouting like a baby. She laughs at him and pulls his head in to rest on her shoulder, patting his cheek.

“Okay, I know it’s already so obvious but--” Sarang says before Huimang walked into the living room, pulling on her shirt. “What is it baby?” She leans into her mom and whispers in her ear. “Okay, go get it from Daddy,” Sarang tells her. Huimang nods and runs off.

“What was that about?” Mae laughs.

“She wants to use her iPad so her and the girls can watch a movie.”

“Aw, I love how our girls are such besties, they’ll be just like us when they’re older,” Sohyun says, leaning into Byul on the couch.

“Hey, about that, when is it okay for me to call Moonji like… my daughter? I feel like it’s too soon? But she kind of calls me her mom already but I don’t know whether to refer to her as “mine” although she’s not really mine and--”

“Sweetie, you’ll just know. I know, I was in the same situation as you--” Sohyun starts.

“But, you two have different situations with the biological mom part,” Rina reminds her. “Hana’s mom left her in a different way that Moonji’s mom did. I say part of it’s knowing when, and the other part you’d have to wait until you know you’re in a serious serious relationship with Namjoon and also talk to him about it too.” Byul nods.

“You’re right, I’ll wait, and I’ll talk to him about it.” The girls nod at Byul’s response. 

“What were you trying to tell us Sarang?” You ask, remembering what Sarang was saying before Huimang came in.

“Oh yeah! I totally forgot, thanks Yn,” Sarang says, putting her drink down on the coffee table. “As I was saying, I--”

“Mommy!” Sian yells, running to Rina. 

“I am so sorry,” Rina says to Sarang. She laughs and gestures for her to go ahead.

“Daddy and Uncle Tae Tae are fighting,” Sian says before running off again. 

“What?” Sarang says, watching Sian run past Jimin, who walks in holding Mingyu in his arms.

“Taehyung and Jungkook are fighting?” You say, taking Mingyu from Jimin as he passes him onto you. 

“Arguing. Yoongi was carrying Mingyu and Taehyung wanted to hold him again but Jungkook was whining that he was holding him the whole time when we got here and Taehyung came back saying that he ruined the date he had with Mingyu by coming to the cafe.” Jimin explains, leaning over to kiss Mingyu on the top of the head before walking off to go back with the boys.

“Rina you really have to give him another one,” Mae jokes. Rina lets out a sarcastic laugh.

“I will if he gives me a ring first,” she says, looking down at her left hand. 

“Speaking of rings,” Sarang says. She turns around looking if any other kid would come by to interrupt her. 

“I think you’re good,” Sohyun laughs. 

“Okay, so,” Sarang says, reaching down for her bag, taking out little pouches. “They’re not exactly rings but..” She passes them out to each of the girls, you getting your own. “Open them up!”

You all open it at the same time, Mingyu reaching out to put it in his mouth. 

You all gasp at the same time.

“Sarang this is so cute!” Sohyun says, holding it close to her chest.

“Oh I love it!” Mae says.

“Oh-- Even me Sarang? We haven’t known each other for long, I don’t want to ruin--”

“Byul, you’re one of us now. I want you to be one of my bridesmaids! You have to be~” Sarang says.

“Where did you get this idea? This is so cute,” Rina says, looking over the necklace Sarang got them. It all had their names written on the backing card. Rina held hers which said “Rina, I can’t say I do, without you! Will you be my bridesmaid? -Sarang.” 

“Pinterest, I spent all day looking for the perfect one,” Sarang says with a small laugh, then nervously asking, “... so is that a yes? From all of you?” The girls all nod and scream yes excitedly, making Sarang cry.

“Why are you crying!” Mae laughs, pulling her into a hug.

“I don’t know I’m just.. So happy I met all of you and.. Oh my gosh I can’t stop now,” she says, laughing as she wipes her eyes. Mingyu looks at her with a horrified expression before crying as well.

“Oh-- Gyu what’s wrong?” You say. He cries harder while looking at Sarang.

“I think he’s sad that you’re crying,” Rina laughs. You look at your son, then at Sarang and decide to pass him to her.

“Hi baby,” she says, holding Mingyu. “I’m not sad, they’re happy tears! See?” She smiles. “I’m happy!” Mingyu stops crying and smiles at her.

“See! Oh my gosh, he’s the cutest!” Rina says. Mingyu reaches out and squishes Sarang's nose, making her laugh.

“Babe--” Namjoon says, walking back into the living room. “Uhh.. what’s going on?” He asks. You all were currently standing around a red Sarang who had red eyes and wet tears on her cheeks. Also with Mingyu’s little fist around her nose.

“Sarang asked us to be her bridesmaids!” Byul says happily, running up to Namjoon, showing him the necklace she got. 

“Aww that’s cute. Do you want me to put it on you?” He says. Byul nods, turning around and lifting her hair up and out of the way. 

“Aw look at them, how cute,” Rina says. “Put it on for me Sohyun?” 

“I can do it, I can be cute too,” Jungkook says, walking towards Rina. 

“We didn’t get a groomsmen proposal from Hoseok,” Yoongi says, walking towards Sohyun. 

“I checked pinterest, they didn’t have any good ones that you guys would like,” Hoseok says.

Jin walks over to Mae. “Let me put yours on for you.” 

��I already have it on,” Mae says, showing him the necklace around her neck. Jin gives her a face.

“Well take it off so I can be cute and put it on you like what everyone else is doing,” he says, unclasping the necklace, making Mae roll her eyes.

“Jin hyung’s such a loser,” Jimin says jokingly, “want me to put yours on babe?” You look at Jimin and hand him the necklace. 

“It kinda has some slobber because Gyu kept trying to put it in his mouth.”

“Oh, ew,” he says, leaving to get a wet wipe. 

“Can I have Mingyu, noona? I have no girlfriend to put a necklace around,” Taehyung pouts, reaching over to pick up Mingyu.

“So what brings you boys back here? I thought you were playing at the dining table?” Rina asks. 

“You know what happens during Uno,” Yoongi says, wrapping his arms around Sohyun. 

“Plus, we got bored,” Jungkook pouts.

“Mommy,” Minseok says, walking into the living room, holding Haneul’s hand. 

“Yes baby?” Mae says, leaning down to pick up Haneul when they walked towards her. 

“We want to stay with you guys,” he says, climbing on the couch to sit on Jin’s lap.

“They’re coming,” Minseok says. And as if on cue, all the kids started coming out of Sian’s play room.

Moonji ran to Byul, Soojin ran to Uncle Taetae, Hana ran to Yoongi and Sohyun, Huimang ran to her parents, and Sian ran to his dad.

“Aigoo~ When did we have so many kids?” Taehyung says, pulling Soojin on his lap as he sits down on the floor.

“I don’t know, but I’m sure we’ll have a whole soccer team in the future, because I’m sure we want siblings for our kids and you're left to have your first one,” Hoseok says.

“Oh my gosh,” Jin says. “They’re going to out number us.”

“I can’t believe how good Gyu has been,” You say as you and Jimin both walked to the kitchen to get some drinks.

“I told you we’d be okay! We have all our friends to help us, what better people to help than those who have so much experience with kids right?”

“I know, I know, I just didn’t think Gyu would get so comfortable so fast, he loves them,” You say, looking over to see Yoongi behind a curtain while holding Gyu, playing peekaboo with Hoseok. You could hear his little laughter all the way from where you were standing.

“Well that’s good. Because he’s going to be seeing their faces all the time now.” Jimin says, leaning over to kiss your forehead. “I don’t think we should be stressing out much anymore. Let’s go have some fun with our friends.” You nod, walking off with Jimin back to the living room. 

“Can I hold Mingyu next?” Jin says, looking over at the second and third oldest. “Haneul wants to play with him.” Haneul was sitting on Jin’s lap and he looks up at his dad and smiles when he heard his name. Jin smiles at him back, the one smile where he looks like a quokka.

“Do you want to go to Uncle Jinnie?” Yoongi says to Mingyu in his baby talking voice.

“Yes~” Jin says in a small voice as well.

“Here you go hyung,” Yoongi says, placing Mingyu on Jin’s other leg while Haneul sat on the other. 

“Aigoo~ You’re a hyung now Haneul!” Jin says. Haneul looks up at Jin and laughs before looking back at Mingyu.

“What do you think he’s gonna do?” Rina says, everyone was staring intently at the two youngest. 

“Give him a kiss Haneul!” Hana says. Moonji looks at her and then looks at the two before she made a kissing sound.

“Mwuah!”

Haneul first pointed at Mingyu’s nose, making him cross eyed. Which made Haneul laugh again.

“Give him a kiss,” Jin says, making a kissy face. Haneul looks at his dad and does the same thing, leaning over to kiss Mingyu on the nose.

“Mwuah!” He says, everyone said “Yay!” afterwards making Haneul laugh and clap.

“Good boy,” Jin says, kissing the top of his head. Namjoon leans over and caresses Mingyu’s head. He turns around and smiles as he sees Namjoon’s face. Namjoon couldn’t help but give him an open mouth smile back. 

“Aigoo~ He looks so cute. Looks exactly like his dad,” He says, making you scoff.

“He looks like Jimin but of course got his cuteness from his mom,” he corrects.

“That’s better,” you say. 

Moonji runs over to Mingyu and Haneul and he looks over her dad. 

“Daddy I want a baby brother too,” she says, making Byul’s eyes widen.

“We’ll get you one next time, okay?” Namjoon responds, making Byul shake her head, before slowly blinking, head turning towards Namjoon. 

“I already have a little brother,” Soojin whispers, making Mae laugh.

“Maybe I can write little brother on my wishlist next year,” Hana says, coloring her coloring book nonchalantly. “Daddy always gets me what I want on my list.” Jungkook burst out laughing. 

“She’s not wrong.” 

“I want one too daddy,” Sian says, running towards Jungkook, fluttering his eyes to appear cuter.

“Ask mommy, not me,” Jungkook points.

“Mommy?”

“Ask daddy to propose to me first,” Rina responds. Sian pouts, slumping his shoulders and walking back to his hyung. 

“He didn’t even have to ask,” Taehyung laughs.

“Maybe mommy and daddy will get me one after the wedding?” Huimang asks all of a sudden.

“Oh- you want one too?” Hoseok asks, not expecting Huimang to want a younger sibling.

“Yeah, but a sister would be good too. But if not that’s okay, I have Moonji, Soojin, and Hana. They’re like my sisters,” she says, continuing to color with Hana.

“Wait that was so cute,” Taehyung says, jutting out his bottom lip. 

“Me brother too,” Haneul says, pointing to Mingyu. Jin laughs at his son’s comment. 

“Hahahahaa, Jimin take Gyu back,” he says with a blank face.

her mother remarried two years later to jynx’s father. 

and honestly, adella had a very good happy childhood. her stepfather took on the role as a real father figure in her life. she idolizes the man. like, a total daddy’s girl. (i.. don’t like that phrase but anyway.) she’s just as close to her mom as well. 

earlier in their childhood, adella and jynx were very close but as time progressed they’ve grown apart and adella doesn’t know why so it makes her sad

Angry Birds headcanons bc why not?

1. Red:

-He’s the dad friend, even when he’s only older than the Blues, Stella, Silver, and Bubbles.

-Sings Shakira’s songs in the bathroom.

-He’s a good singer.

-The real chef in the Flock. However, he rarely cooks.

-He snorts like a pig when he laughs too hard. While he finds it embarrassing, the Blues, Chuck, and Silver think it’s hilarious.

-He has a secret crush on Stella. Only Terence and the Blues know it, and not exactly because Red told them.

2. The Blues:

-Everyone in the Flock takes the role of a family member for them: Bomb, Mighty Eagle, Hal, and Terence are the uncles; Stella is the aunt/cousin; Chuck, Silver, and Bubbles take the role of their siblings; Matilda is SO their mother and, surprisingly or not, they consider Red the closest thing of a father.

-Jim is pretty good at reading feelings.

-This is dumb, but sometimes I consider Jay, Jake, and Jim as the short version of Jason, Jacob, and James. The boys are not fond of their full names, and the Flock only uses them when they are extremely pissed at them.

-Jay is the overprotective brother. Being the oldest of the triplets sometimes gets deep into his head and he usually tends to put himself in front of Jake and Jim when they are in danger.

-Jake and Jim appreciate that, although they also remind Jay that they must protect each other regardless of birth order.

-When Jay or Jim have nightmares, they would move closer to Jake, who can handle nightmares better than his brothers.

3. Chuck:

- “Guys or girls?” Both. Both are good.

-Listens to Freddie Mercury all the time. He already knows almost all the songs, and his favorite is “Don’t stop me now”.

-He needs his beauty sleep. Otherwise, he might kill you with his morning face.

-Can’t handle scary movies. But really loves comedy and drama.

-Chuck believes that he’s the second in command in the Flock. While the rest usually tell him that the role is occupied by Matilda or Bomb, Red actually considers him as his right hand. Both of them discuss the plans for rescuing the eggs and when the cardinal is not available, he trusts Chuck to be the leader. They are besties, your honor.

-He and Silver cannot be left alone, or the slingshot disappears.

4. Bomb:

-Listen: he would kill for ice cream.

-Loves to read comics and Sci-Fi books.

-Sometimes is the voice of reason. Sometimes he’s so done with everything and just EXPLODES.

-This boy is so in love with Matilda, but he’s too shy to tell her. That’s why he left her flowers signed by “Anonymous”. All the Flock knows about his crush, including her.

-He has a white mug with “World’s best and coolest uncle” written in it. The Blues gave it to him and he cried for a week after receiving it.

-He’s actually pretty smart.

Im super lonely and it sucks

This is like my second post ever but I really wasn't sure where us to post this.

Im super lonely and it sucks. I have 2 people who i really care about and I even call one my  best friend (at college) but even then looking at that relationship we really aren't that close. We hang out like maybe 1 or 2 times every week or two. He knows the basics of my life but I never feel comfortable enough to share my closest problems with him.  The other person is also from college and I love her but again I feel like we are friends but we’re not super closer either. 

And the hardest part is the one person I use to consider my best friend is now super close with my sister. 

My (former) best friend and I met freshmen year of high school and by senior year I basically lived at her house. We joked about my position in her wedding. I went to her little brother high school graduation. But when I left for college some things changed. I go to school out of state and it was fine at first and though we were no longer super close, she was still my best friend. But then my sister (my twin actually) took a semester off of college, moved back home for 6 months, my bestie got her a job where she works and now they are best friends. It really hurts. I thought we were still besties but I didnt even know she had a boyfriend cause she went to my sister first. Now they hang out all the time and when we both got back home for winter break, she came over the day my sister got back even though I had been home for 2 days before and she ever even mentioned coming over. 

My sister. I love my sister but sometimes I really dont. We’re twins so my entire life I have had to share with her. I was always the outspoken, loud one and she was the quite, shy one so it was always “be nicer to your sister she's sensitive” or things like that. Then growing up it was “stop being mean to your sister” or her telling our parents I was bullying her. (As some context my parents are Christian missionaries = religious and my sister was the “perfect bible child” where I was the “rebellious one”) And as we got older it never really changed, my sis was a totally “tattletale”, I was always the “mean one”, she could do no wrong etc. No matter what I loved like certain books, movies, music etc she HAD to love it too or seemly overtook it from me. And no matter what I told my parents it was “be nice to your sister” or “well you inspired her to love it too”. Im a senior in college and I feel like not much as changed. 

The hardest part is that growing up people, parents, friends or family, never seemed to consider that my sister was mean to me. That she bullied me or she hurt my feelings cause Im the “strong one” and she's the “ sensitive one”. Im 22 and she made me cry at my cousin’s wedding cause she heard a rumor that the the future-mother in law of my cousin was upset because of  something that I said. (MiL was actually upset with my aunt not me so...) My own sister took the side of a woman she literally met like 2 days before, yelled at me, called me names and left me crying in a church bathroom at a wedding yet Im the one who needs to stop being mean. 

I literally have no one to tell or talk to so here I am posting this on a website for a bunch of strangers.

Today was a good day. I love my best friends (Y & M) and for the first time in awhile I didn’t need drugs to have fun. And then “C” surprised messaged me and just made me realize that there really is people out there who miss you and think about you. Anyways now I’m at a bonfire with my childhood bestie (L). As I’m typing this I’m fine. I’m okay. I’m happy or the happiest I’ve been in a few days. I don’t feel like I’m in a haze right now. But yeah, not all days are bad days. 🙂 and I actually have a few things that are helping me stay motivated and keeping me excited for the future you could say. Like the twins birthday, that high school aquantice boxing match, the new BTS movie with my college bff and cousin & little sis, and I guess whatever else comes my way. I hope everything works out. Oh and that sleepover. 😂🤭

Japan Trip: Preface

A preface more about how my interest in Japan came to be and my travel buddies~ It doesn’t really have anything to do with the actual trip but just more of a background that played into how I wanted to go to Japan. And it’s just mostly me gushing about my besties who were my travel buddies. The next post will be the start of the actual trip to Japan~

I had always been so very in love with Japanese culture since I was little. I’d been a huge anime fan since as long as I can remember. Around the time I was 9-10 I was a fan of Japanese music (Utada was and still my favorite). Even to this day I listen to Japanese music, from J-Pop to J-Rock (I love love love Utada and One Ok Rock~). I love the food, Japanese styling and architecture, movies/dramas, and the language. I tried to to teach myself some Japanese through the very media I loved: anime, dramas/movies, music. This formed the basis for my pronunciation (Which I’m told is pretty good?). I learned some basic phrases and all from that, but mostly it just helped trained my ear and helped me learned better pronunciation. I couldn’t really speak Japanese, but it also gave me a good basis of some basic understanding. In my third year of university, I even took a Japanese language course for a semester. I didn’t continue though since well...I didn’t like how it was being taught and my Japanese friend who sat in one day said the classes seemed pretty bad.

My interest for Japan had just always been there since I was little and I knew I had always wanted to go to Japan. I never had the opportunity to do so though, except for brief layovers at Narita Airport whenever I flew to Thailand. I promised myself I would go one day but I never had the time, and most importantly I didn’t have the money. Fast forward to my second year of college. At the beginning of Fall semester I met this sweet girl named Breanna. Literally the night I met her (at a frozen yogurt social for FSA).

We sat across from each other and started spazzing about Big Bang and Baker King Kim Tak Goo (and had a fan girl moment over Yoon Si Yoon). Dat froyo eating face tho....

She was just so kind and incredibly sweet. We talked and hung out a few times but we weren’t super close yet. Little did I know that she would end up becoming my bestest friend. I remember being in the Communications Building one FSA Dance Troupe dance practice near the middle/end of spring semester that year. I was there to just watch and show support for my friends. I remember sitting in the auditorium seat when Breanna came up to me. She timidly wanted to ask me something. She basically asked me how my living/roommate situation would be like for the upcoming school year and if she could live with me. Back then I honestly wasn’t keen on living with alot of roommates (though I loved my one random roommate I had been living with). I lived in a 3 bedroom student housing apartment. I was currently living with a random roommate I from my freshman year. I loved her~ We had another random roomie but uh...we didn’t get along with her and she left. So we had an empty room. I was was honestly not too crazy about living with someone I wasn’t extremely close to. However, she was just so sweet and something told me to just say yes. While I was nervous I was pretty excited to have her as a new roommate.

Literally from that night at the Communications Room right after I said yes.

Anyway we were cautious and nervous at first but we ended up bonding quite quickly and realized we were pretty similar and had several things in common. We just clicked. We just naturally and effortlessly grew close from that point. With Bre becoming my roomie, I also began seeing and hanging out with her boyfriend Allan quite a bit as well. Again I had seen and hung out with him a few times before but we weren’t close. I was closer to his cousins since we went to the same high school and our mutual friends. If I were to be honest I had no clue how Allan saw me or what he thought of me. He could’ve just thought I was weird, I don’t know lol. However, it turns out the 3 of us were on a similar wave length and we got along quite well. Our fourth year Bre and I decided to move into an actual non-student housing apartment. Allan was basically our third roomie~ it was tons of fun and I really enjoyed it. By the end of that year the two of them made the decision to move to NorCal. I was a bit sad but I was also happy and excited for them. Despite the distance of being on the opposite coasts we still remained close. I’ve even visited them a few times~ Anyway we had always made it a big bucket list item to go to Japan together. We always said we would, but I didn’t know if we could ever really do it haha. Welp after almost 7 years into our friendship, and about 6 of being besties, we finally did it. Besties photo spam~
