Feng Xin loved Xie Lian, who wouldn’t? When he first met his prince, they were hardly teenagers, and the feeling that wrapped itself around his heart was not yet love, but admiration. Only a year younger than his bodyguard, and the prince already showed his truly, blinding colors. He was something Feng Xin thought was worth following.

The prince was clearly spoiled, but hadn’t all royalty been? They know nothing else but riches, and yet-his prince showed true compassion for those considered beneath him. As they grew older, that fluttering feeling only expanded, but now he knew what it was. Each passing smile, each time they shared a bed because- “the bed is too big, Feng Xin, I don’t like being alone at night” -made these emotions solidified. His prince had true morals, had goals that he believed he could accomplish and set out to do just that. Brilliant, his prince was. Someone to look up too. Just shy of his adult years, Feng Xin had fallen in love with the prince he swore to protect.

Mu Qing loved Xie Lian. How could anyone love the spoiled prince? When he first met the prince, he was fourteen, the prince only a year older and followed by some lap dog Mu Qing could care less about. He had been assigned as his personal assistant; to dress and help bathe him, style him for everyday wear, do his cleaning. Being a servant to the prince was bad enough, but he also had to deal with the sharp tongue of the puppy that hovered over royalty.

No matter how picky the prince was with his food, no matter how he thought it improper to wear the same robes more than once, Mu Qing couldn’t help his cheeks reddening every time he made eye contact with the handsome prince. While spoiled, he was also mischievous. When the dog became overbearing, he’d ask Mu Qing to sneak around the castle, just for giggles. The three were often seen hip to hip as they aged, becoming respectable young men. Mu Qing heart twisted with ugly jealousy when he saw Feng Xin and the prince exchange secret looks and he finds himself unsure who he’d rather be at the moment, or why. The Prince looks at him the same way, and that jealousy is tampered out. He’d fallen in love with the Prince he was made to serve.

Hua Cheng loved Xie Lian. Whoever dared to speak ill of him was mysteriously missing from the face of the earth. When he first met his prince, he had saved the dirty child’s life. The only one to look at him with genuine concern, genuine affection, never lifting a finger to hurt him. His prince had protected him, given him a reason to live. When he first gave himself to his god, it had been purely devotion. Only his god could save such an ugly creature and not think twice about it. Only his god could continue to watch and protect over the monster who sheltered in his old shrines, to feed him his offerings, to protect him from the rain with an umbrella.

No matter how many times his god fell, he came back stronger. Every battle, every wound, every trap set for his god was met head on, whether he was fearful or not. His god graced him with his presence and Hua Cheng could never pay it back, but he tried. He dies proudly for his prince, with the upmost honor to his god. He’s forged into powerful ghost, pushing his body to the limits each passing decade to simply become strong enough to protect his god, the only person deserving of this world. His god shouldn’t need to suffer any longer, Hua Cheng loves his god far too much to let his cruel world continue to sink its teeth into his God’s pure heart. He’d falling in love with the god who gave his life meaning.

Feng Xin had left his prince. He’d like to say he never looked back, that he respected his highness’s wishes and disappeared, but that simply wasn’t true. He loved the prince, and his prince had showed that love back ten fold. Cultivation did not stop Feng Xin from courting his prince, having enjoyed the years of fluttering faces and shy comments. He had even falling for the loud-mouthed brat that did nothing but complain in the face of all, as if nothing ever satisfied him. His prince simply adored both of them, and Feng Xin could live with it, and he had.

He left after the light in his prince’s eyes finally burned out, when he finished tossing rice at Mu Qing, when he finished breaking down in his room. He hoped in a few days he’d come back, he’d come back and finally talk to his prince and comfort him. Something was wrong, maybe he needed time to open up. Yet, he returned to the small cottage torn down with no one in sight. Feng Xin had been tossed away and forgotten, and he hurt terribly.

Mu Qing left the prince. He did it for his mother, and he had no room in his heart for regrets. He couldn’t continue this way, couldn’t they see that? Couldn’t Feng Xin and the prince see that this life was getting them no where? His heart was fighting with his brain for days. He loved them both; he loved the prince and he loved that lap dog that chose to now hover over him aswell. They would understand, Mu Qing had his mother to think of, they would understand.

He left his tears stinging his eyes, refusing to let them fall. Feng Xin dared to insult him? To belittle him while Xie Lian accepted it like it would be the last time he saw him! He couldn’t continue busking, he couldn’t continue nearly starving every night, sneaking away to the village to care for his family. They misunderstood him, and Mu Qing can’t spare the time to defend himself and his decisions. He ascended not long after, pride flooding his chest. He can help, he can find a way to help them both. But that, too, was denied. He watched as the prince begged him to believe him before racing down the mountain. Mu Qing had to think of the future. If he had defended the prince, the other gods would cast him away, and he’d be useless. He gave up when he felt rice being tossed at him by the man he loved, screaming in his face. They treat him like filth under their shoes, and he doesn’t look back as he felt.

Hua Cheng lost his god. He would never regret giving his undead life for a second time if it meant keeping his god out of harms way, but he lost him entirely. The young soldier, a ghost flame, a wrath, all in the name of his prince. He didn’t leave his side, not one moment. He stayed while he was humiliated, while he was stumbling drunk, while a deviled sword plowed into immortal flesh. He stayed while his God cursed the world, cursed the kingdom of Yong’an. He stayed, and he served as he should. He was his God’s most devoted follower. Turning that terrible sword and carving into his own flesh was a sacrifice he wished he could make ten times over, the only regret was to see the devastating look in his prince’s eyes. His god should never mourn his loss, he will be back.

Eight centuries left Hua Cheng with another regret that day. One sacrifice lost his god. Even as thousands of butterflies killed themselves in search of his highness, for any trace of his existence left in the world. He feared the worse; was he dying, bleeding out? Was he fighting many wars, internal and external? Was his god all alone, starving and humiliated? Living so long left many chances to get killed or worse. He god will never bare the scars of his suffering on his skin, but his brain will remember. Eight centuries of searching, of being separated. His god ascended a third time, because his god was simply that amazing. He approached the mountain, leaving the past behind him and staring into his future.

Xie Lian was both loved and hated. Adored and envied. A god and a scrap collector. He’s loved for many years and thanked the heavens that some were worth remembering. He remembered his friends; Xie Lian believed them to still be friends, he hopes when they meet again, they’ll forgive his past. While those old feelings have long past, he appreciates the love he had, even if it was only for a fleeting moment. His long life has left him alone most centuries, hurt and desperate. He ascended a third time in his sleep, and he feels himself sheepish. Were Feng Xin and Mu Qing still waiting on their fallen prince, their disgrace of a god? Would they shun him, perhaps they’d forgotten their past together, not that Xie Lian could blame them, who would want to remember him?

But they did welcome him-sort of. Mu Qing was cold, but Fu Yao acted as a younger version of him; so playful and full of energy. Feng Xin was hesitant around him, but Nan Feng was fussy and defensive, making the pair argue. Xie Lian never let on he knew; why would he? His friends were back, bickering, but lively. He relished in the nostalgia, soaking up these moments before they slipped from his fingers, as life does with all good things.

San Lang was a welcomed change to his life. The ghost king, ironically, was full of life and wonder. He managed to shut down Mu Qing and Feng Xin’s arguing, supply information where it’s needed and asked for, spends time to truly listen to Xie Lian talk. It’s been so long since Xie Lian spoke to someone as attentive as his ghost king. He knew who the young man was the moment he hoped into the ox cart, but why ruin it? He quite liked Hua Cheng, and with his luck, it won’t last. He wants to make it last. He wants Mu Qing and Feng Xin to bicker inside the shrine while San Lang praised his cooking. He wants his fleeting moments of happiness to stretch for days-years-centuries. The scrap collector tries not to ask much of the heavens, but he silently pleads for this.

Xie Lian has loved before, coming in many different forms. He still loves his friends, far differently than his youth. Xie Lian loves his San Lang, far more passionately than he had anyone else. Every bone in his body craves his-now husband, to cherish him has he’d been cherished, to worship him has he’d been worshiped, to give him all of himself. And he does. He gives everything he has to offer, and his San Lang is quick to return it. He reunites with his old friends, makes plenty of new ones. That empty spot in his heart now overflowing with affection after eight hundred years. He never wants to get used to this, he never wants to rid of it.

Xie Lian loves everyone, everyone loves Xie Lian.

i’d love to explain to them (as a polyam person myself >:3) that love is not a limited commodity and hua cheng falling for yin yu doesn’t mean he suddenly doesn’t care about xie lian at all but i fear that would be lost on them HAHA

yes, i had to break the trio and quartet into different categories

mulian: mu qing always admired xie lian for his self-assuredness, strength, and also beauty. he was a bit jealous of him for a long time, but they were able to talk about it and they both forgave each other for everything that happened in the past. he's had a crush on him since the beginning, but was bad at showing it. xie lian thought mu qing was pretty and a very interesting person; when he got older, he regretted not spending more time getting to know him, so he makes up for it later on in life! he loves when mu qing is softer and shy and more vulnerable than he is usually, and loves how mu qing is a good listener and is pretty emotionally intelligent.

fengqing: well. you get the idea

fenglian: feng xin was always loyal, the first person to have fallen in love with xie lian, and dianxia’s first kiss. he would’ve never left xie lian if xie lian hadn’t told him to. he respected xie lian a lot. xie lian loved how much feng xin cared, and felt immensely guilty about being unable to give him anything more. when they reunite, he showers feng xin with gifts and words of affirmation (he got better at expressing his emotions) and they spend a lot of time together

xianle quartet

all the other ones stay the same, so i’ll just explain the two new ones

huaqing: they were once stuck together and had to talk just out of boredom. they bickered a little but the more they talked the more they realized that there was more to the other. mu qing feels genuinely bad about what he did to hua cheng. he has a hard time apologizing but he tried his best to express his remorse, and hua cheng was pretty shocked (previously thought mu qing was a bit of an asshole) and, since mu qing was being sincere, decided to accept his apology. they hit some rough patches now and then, but xie lian and feng xin help them through it. they realized they’re pretty similar, and team up to stir up trouble with people they don’t like sometimes!

huaxin: feng xin was jealous of hua cheng because he was the one who won xie lian’s heart after 800 years and was really happy when he found out that xie lian liked him too. he admires that hua cheng was strong enough to help xie lian so many times. he also likes that hua cheng is a little cocky sometimes (read: very often), and finds hua cheng very good looking. hua cheng was jealous of feng xin for being the first person to be that close to xie lian, but appreciates how loyal he was throughout everything that happened and finds him pretty cool. he likes the way feng xin curses a lot when he’s pissed (finds it endearing)

huayin

ONE OF MY PERSONAL FAVES!!!

yin yu fell first, because hua cheng was so fascinatingly determined and also like the prettiest person he’s ever met. he was intimidating, but could be quite kind, as he was to yin yu when they broke past the employee/employer relationship and became closer

hua cheng began to notice the way yin yu came off as so meek and unnoticeable, but had a kind of poised anger and strength beneath all of that. he trusted yin yu with a lot of more important tasks, paid him well, and considered him as more of a right hand man or partner in crime than a henchman, then eventually as just a partner

e’ming also likes yin yu, and trusts him to take care of it

hua cheng finds it endearing when yin yu gets protective of him (both of them know hua cheng is perfectly capable, but hua cheng finds it sweet regardless)

yin yu cheered hua cheng on a lot with xie lian and patiently listened to everything hua cheng had to say about him

ppl keep being like “oh but hua cheng would never cheat on xie lian” HOW IS THAT CHEATING! GOOD LORD! HUA CHENG STILL LOVES XIE LIAN, BUT HAS ALSO DEVELOPED FEELINGS FOR THE PERSON HE SPENT THE MOST AMOUNT OF TIME WITH

yin yu fell for xie lian because he heard about him all the time. how could you spend so much time hearing about how wonderful, kind, gracious, and amazing someone is without catching feelings a little? additionally, hua cheng allowed yin yu to visit xie lian’s temple and leave offerings, trusting him to be genuine in his actions. yin yu saw some of the paintings and sculptures of xie lian and found him beautiful. he knows a lot about xie lian's life, and truly wants him to find peace and happiness

xie lian loves how devoted yin yu was to hua cheng and how much he helped him. he knows those years were hard for hua cheng, and he’s glad that he had a companion (contrary to what people say about “cheating”, xie lian is incredibly happy that hua cheng managed to find love while he was waiting). i know yin yu is canonically “plain”, but xie lian loves him and thinks he’s very handsome :) he gives him a lot of compliments and words of affirmation

blackmoon (yinxuan)

taking a moment to appreciate that very awesome ship name

yin yu thought he xuan was terrifying and intense, only to discover that. he’s just a guy (/pos). but he does have a lot going on! he has urges and a complex history and emotions he doesn’t show to a lot of people and plans within plans and is generally such an interesting person with so many layers to him. beneath a lot of those layers is a guy who’s kind and smart and would’ve stayed kind and smart if his life wasn’t utterly ruined

he xuan initially thought yin yu was just kind of pathetic, but learned more about him and started to like him more. he finds his passion really attractive, loves how genuinely sweet, kind, and gentle he is as well as how harsh, cruel, and unrelenting he can be. he treats he xuan well and makes him feel human and real and knows when to leave him alone and knows when he wants attention and cooks for him and-

they feel seen around each other, having experienced similar things (such as having their destiny “stolen” in different ways though) and have experienced suffering in such a firsthand way. they’re ready to just chill together now :)

moon quartet (hua cheng, xie lian, he xuan, and yin yu)

xie lian finds he xuan cool, doesn’t have too many thoughts about him. he xuan thinks xie lian is cute and also mildly terrifying (i’m definitely editing this later on, i just don’t have a lot of thoughts about them yet)

hua cheng and he xuan have been close for a long time, helping each other out with ghost king business. hua cheng let he xuan relax and chill at ghost city when he needed to, and he xuan kept a close eye on the heavenly capital, so they met often and bonded. they’re both motivated by something and are incredibly passionate about that thing, so they mutually admire the other’s drive and courage

i have the least for them so far, but i just think they’d be sweet together :] they’d all help each other heal and be able to talk to each other. they’d love each other a lot and take care of one another when they need it and be there when someone needs someone :3 idk they’re so traumatized and deserve to recover from that i’ll form more thoughts i swear

I hope I can ask you this because I don't want to ask in the tags, I'm scared 🥹 but I've seen a lot of discourse about why tommy isn't good for buck, he's cold, the relationship is toxic etc and I was wondering why people think that? Is there anything specific that started it?

I fully believe eddie is buck's true love, endgame, whatever we want to call it and I'm sad we don't have that (yet) but I thought bucktommy was kinda fun in the meantime. I just want to understand 🫶🏻

Oh hey darling! you were so sweet and genuine in your response so please know I’m just answering what I’m asked and if you wanna enjoy and have fun with bt that is completely your prerogative but I’m just offering my perspective on it

And i am warning you this is gonna be long because I feel a constant need to go really in depth in my thoughts

Okay so idk how I’m gonna break this down but maybe I’ll do it in like main points?

Also if you’re new here whenever I use bullet points I’m just doing it cos I find it easier to chunk up my thoughts not cos I’m being curt or anything with you

1. The chimney and hen begins episodes

He wasnt just passive in the episodes and letting Gerard get away with his racist and misogynistic behaviour he ACTIVELY participated in it

This includes:

• Asking if they forgot to tip the delivery guy WHILE THEY WERE EATING CHINESE FOOD when chimney first comes up despite the fact that 1. Chimney had a big ass lafd bag 2. They were probably already told a probie would be coming 3. Probably would’ve seen the actual delivery guy 4. I would bet my absolute life that question would not have been asked if buck or bobby had walked up those stairs this wasn’t an innocent comment it WAS RACIST intentionally like the entire point of the episode was to show how bad they had it

• the New York bitchiness comment

• throwing his tools down along for hen to clean up

• going out of his way to treat them like outcasts and hating chimney before he even knew him despite chimneys efforts

• the way each of them had to “earn his respect” in some way before he acted like a normal coworker to them and this was never in the typical ‘oh it’s a new person’ type of way it always had to do with their race or in hen’s case her gender too

A defence I see a lot for this is “oh he was closeted” and honestly to me that is such bullshit because 1. Eli was perfectly capable of not participating in the racism and taking chimney under his wing without getting any shit for it and chimney is quite literally a Korean man (something he literally can’t hide) and he had just got his head above water with Gerard’s racism when hen came and he STILL was a friend to her 2. Again tommy wasn’t passive in it and just letting Gerrard be racist (which would’ve been one thing) no he actively participated in it to be part of the boys club 3. Let’s say that somehow not being a dick would’ve meant that that was a threat to the closet he was in- that is still in my opinion a fucked up sense of preservation if you spare yourself the possibility of bigotry (despite having inherent social capital by being a white man in that job) by inflicting others to bigotry

Now when Tommy was first reintroduced I was like keeping an open mind and saying okay it’s been a lot of time and maybe he has genuinely made amends because I do believe in redemption but imo they have made no attempt to show us that and had him honestly put more of the blame on Gerrard for his behaviour or the writers flat out avoiding mentioning it to retcon tommy a little and hope we forget

Another defence I see is “oh chimney and hen became friends with him so they must’ve forgave him”, hen went no contact the moment he left (something the writers went out of their way to include that line) and chimney didn’t even invite him to his wedding which was quite big after the Buckley parents got involved so it’s not like it was cos it was such a small and intimate wedding and he only called him as far as we know in those years when he needed a favor, which all means that most likely they had kinda just put it behind them and kept up a coworker relationship with him, but no actual friendship or actual forgiveness or redemption had taken place

Oh wow all that was just point one and I can probably talk more on it but I’ll just leave it with saying that Lou’s comments about it being teasing or how Tommy genuinely didn’t know hen or chimney were capable etc just makes for a worse case than saying it’s cos of being in the closet (and that is genuinely a large part of why idk much abt Lou but those comments are enough to make me hate him) and I’ll also say that poc (myself included in that) have these situations so often- situations even as specific as gay men being racist to them to fit in - and we understand the nuance and shit to it but we also understand on a deep level how it feels to be on the other side of that

And getting toxic bt fans try to come up with ways to downplay or minimise racism honestly pisses me off so much cos believe you me we have heard every excuse and downplay under the sun and I for one am sick and tired of it

2. Why he’s viewed as cold and his jokes

• literally from the small parts we saw of him and Eddie hanging out we have seen the man is in fact capable of joking and being light and having fun but around buck in particular he’s like 🧍‍♂️😐 and the occasional 🙂 like it just feels very stiff and just plain in a way

• his humour consistently falls flat and feels passive aggressive more than anything like blunt or sardonic humour DOES work like I personally love it but it’s not being written OR executed right

A. It’s always in response to genuine moments or questions such as buck talking abt the award or the daddy kink joke or henren questioning him

B. It’s the the majority of what we see from him, there is not enough balance for it

C. Lack of rapport, when friends or couples make jokes that can come off the wrong way if said to anyone else it’s cos of the rapport built already, this rapport is not established with the characters OR with the audience for these jokes to come off right

D. I gotta say this one too but the execution just isn’t right from writing to acting, it’s the same reason sardonic humour lines from Sandra oh as Cristina Yang or hugh Laurie as house still lets you like the characters and find them funny but Tommys lines come off as annoying to a lot of people

3. I think fandom discourse probably has something to do with it but not in the way you think

I’m not saying like oh ppl who ship buddie just hate him cos of the ship no I’m saying that like what takes him from an annoying disliked character to a hated character is most likely the fact that his role stirred so much drama and caused so much damage to how the fandom used to be that its turned the dial up

4. A lot of his development, lore or redeemable factors or cute things are just not canon

This may be blunt and I am sorry for that but I think his character has been blown up to such a degree that it’s genuinely shocking

Like I look at posts or get sent hate and I’m like where did any of this happen this is just not canon this is just not a show like at times I’m genuinely convinced it’s a social experiment where different ppl saw a different show like some spiderman multiverse situation

Listen I’m all for headcanons genuinely like if you wanna take extra number three and make a whole backstory and lore and cute stuff abt her I’m all for it but it’s when it’s said as if it’s fact or canon that I’m like hold up a second rewind

I think this is kinda a result of Lou’s cameos (which honestly deserves its own post but you asked why the tommy hate so imma stay on topic) and also this like need to defend the character but not having much material to work with

Like if we look at canon we can literally break down the entirety of Tommys appearances this far in the show and what we learn about him:

• chimney begins- he makes a racist comment and he tries to suck up to Gerard, there is a little hint abt his gayness with the gf comment, Eli says to chimney that’s just how they are and tries to reason it could be fear of losing friends but we see tommy having friends in the firehouse while eli says this, chimney tries to make friends with him and tommy makes no attempt to get to know him and says he’d hate him anyways, chimney saves Tommys life thus earning his respect

• hen begins- she’s met with the same racism chimney is but also met with misogyny (and homophobia but that’s not relevant to the tommy of it all), we find out chimney is still isolated from the rest despite having earnt that respect, chimney befriends hen and again tommy still doesn’t try anything like that until hen proves herself and earns his respect, ppl reported Gerard but it’s never actually stated tommy was one of those ppl so again that’s not canon that’s speculated

• bobby begins- chimney and hen both seem to be like coworker friends with tommy and Sal, Sal throws hissy fit bobby “fires” him tommy says it’s an overreaction bobby reveals it was a transfer, they all seem to make nice, tommy leaves to 217

• chimney calls tommy for help and tommy helps

• we see nothing from tommy,then cruise ship he helps the team but also in this we find out hen cut off all contact since he left

• buck takes tour of harbour, Eddie and tommy have a friendship and we find out some of Tommys interests and that he was in the army, basketball scene and the subsequent apology and kiss

• dinner date, Tommy explains how he was in the closet, Buck has his little awkward moment (which will be elaborated on in my next point) , Tommy says nothing abt it till the Uber arrives and he leaves buck

• buck reaches out and apologises and asks for a second chance inviting tommy to the madney wedding

• bachelor party and the issue of the lack of costume and not just taking the day off for neither wedding nor bachelor party (which you can reason is reasonable but also I feel like this deserves its point for the narrative choices)

• tommy shows up straight outta work they kiss buck has the soot coming out award ceremony - buck being happy abt the reward to which tommy sardonically says enjoy it while it lasts enter bigoted cunt gerard then chimney comes and insults gerard and they walk away

• we don’t see tommy again till the dinner date after Bobby nearly died and when buck tries to explain Bobbys significance to his life tommy throws the your dad is still alive which is just honestly one of his worst moments imo and I made a whole post abt it but can’t find it and then we all know the rest of that convo and I could make a bullet point for it but actually I made a whole post before so I’ll link it: here

5. The leaving buck on their first date

The defences people use for this are:

• buck was trying to shove him back in the closet

• buck was obviously not ready

• people angry abt this are just babying buck like he can find his own way home it’s not that big of a deal

• buck was at fault there and tommy would’ve been justified in being angry and not giving him a second chance

And honestly every last one of these are bullshit imo and lemme go point by point

• buck panicked, I don’t think that what buck was feeling in that moment can be properly described because unless you’re a queer person and you’ve experienced that like bone deep panic that like brain overload then you won’t get it

Like one it’s his first queer date

Two he doesn’t even understand his own sexuality atp

5. The narrative choices with him have been reasonably clear and tbh if they had been made with a woman it would not be up for debate:

• tommy leaves buck on their first date then he comes back and gives buck a chance- we as a fandom have been unanimous in saying for years that Buck’s endgame would be the one that doesn’t leave him cos this pattern has been something we saw over and over with him

• tommy not dressing up- again you can rationalise it but it’s a narrative choice and it’s glaring when contrasted with Eddie suggesting the duo costume

And if we had this scene with Taylor so many ppl would be saying that it’s once again showing that her and Buck’s personalities don’t align

• him being on standby for the wedding and bachelor party- again you can say oh buck invited him last minute or oh he couldn’t taken the day off (which lbr he could’ve he’s not the only firefighter pilot in la) - but again narrative choice

If it was Taylor everyone would’ve been like SEE? Again they’re showing the audience that her work is this looming presence in their relationship

For some context: Ford is sent back in time to when he was seventeen but retained his memories of the canon timeline. This is set after he and Fiddleford graduated Backupsmore and the mystery trio is on a road trip to Gravity Falls

Once again I'm thinking about how well written Kaito actually is. Even his irrational actions are pretty understandable and explainable.

Take, for example, the most obvious moment. His behavior after the Gonta's Trial. He had a falling out with Shuichi because detective was directly opposing him and siding with Kokichi during their argument. It's stupid of Kaito to be angry. He's wrong, and Shuichi was trying to prove it to him in order for everyone to vote correctly. Saihara had no choice because if they would've voted incorrectly, they would've died. But Kaito got angry, taking this as a personal betrayal.

And this is kinda understandable behavior for him. We've seen that Kaito is emotional and hot-tempered. We know that when he gets angry, he doesn't think rationally. We also know that he's very stubborn, and he doesn't really like to give up even if he knows that he's wrong.

Most likely, he even was angry not at Shuichi, but at the whole situation as a whole. It is unfair that Gonta has to die. It also goes against Kaito's view of the world. That someone might think that death is mercy. This is the reason why he was so angry with Ryoma in the second chapter. This is the reason why he forgave Kirumi for her actions. He considers life to be the most valuable and precious thing in the world.

This opinion makes even more sense when you look at it from the point of view of someone who is dying of an unknown disease, who has little time left and a very small chance of survival. From this point of view, he simply can't understand how someone could decide to end not only their own life, but also the lives of others.

Another reason he fell out with Shuichi is because, as he later admits, Kaito was jealous of him. Kaito saw that Shuichi was much more attentive to evidence, Kaito saw that he was better at making logical conclusions, and he saw how everyone believed at Shuichi, how everyone considered Shuichi much more reliable. And no matter how hard Kaito tries, he won't be able to reach this level. He was trying to play the role of a hero, but realized that Shuichi was becoming more suitable for this role, while Momota was becoming his shadow. And this feeling made him increasingly angry at Shuichi, instead of being proud of him.

Perhaps because of this, he did not even realize how much he was appreciated. He was surprised when Shuichi told him that everyone was preparing for a battle to rescue him from captivity. His envy clouded his vision to the point where he could no longer see how important *he* was to the group.

And, last but not least, the reason why Kaito had an argument with Shuichi. Certain someone specially pushed him towards this. Kokichi pitted Shuichi and Kaito against each other throughout the Fourth Trial. Kokichi was purposefully getting at Kaito's nerves. He immediately accused him of murder, insulted him at every opportunity, trampled his ideology into the mud, and praised Shuichi, convincing Kaito that the detective considered him an idiot, and Momota was only hindering him with attempts to participate in the discussion. Kokichi was hitting all of Kaito's painful points with deadly accuracy, getting under his skin and sowing discord in the group.

Considering all these reasons, Kaito's behavior after Gonta's Trial is understandable. It makes sense for him to act this way. It is illogical from a common sense point of view, but it is logical from a character point of view.

Many of these reasons also explain why he charged at Kokichi when he declared himself the mastermind. Of course, it's stupid to approach a person holding a remote control for giant robot weapons. But, again, Kokichi himself pushed him to it. Momota gets angry every time Ouma talks dismissevely about those who died. Naturally Kaito will lose his temper after all the cruel words that Kokichi said about his fallen friends. And Kokichi himself gave him the idea to try to punch him, because it was part of his plan. And Kaito has long wanted to prove (especially to himself) that he can be useful to the group. At that moment, he wanted to do something, anything to vent his frustration, even if this “anything” was a foolish, reckless attack.

In conclusion, Kaito is a very cool, well-thought-out character, and I really love both his strengths and weaknesses, because it makes him multifaceted and alive.

You know, I vaguely felt there was some similarity between Dark Sun and Sun, but I couldn't put my finger on it. But now I think I have figured it out.

I think Dark Sun's dimension is just exactly like Sun's, but with faster timelines.

Because Dark Sun's dimension has an Eclipse, so that means, they have to separate before Eclipse being created, right?

And it seems like it's just a normal day to Dark Sun!Moon, before he got ripped apart and tortured for idk... years?

And if Dark Sun doesn't have the exact same life as Sun, he would never be sympathetic with him or think Sun one day would be snap, right?

So what if, they have the same history as Sun and Moon. Waking up, being sentient, with Moon makes Sun's life a living hell, separate....

Only, with Sun and Moon, Moon kinda stops being an asshole from time to time... (The amount of time he is being an assholes lesser than the time he is being a dear brother.)

But with Dark Sun and Dark Sun's Moon, there are some differences.

1. Moon is the one who takes the body.

We saw when Sun pulled a "dragon ball" to Eclipse. His body got broken, and his Eclipse model showed off. This Moon has exactly the same condition and model as Sun, which means, when they separated, Moon is the one who keeps the body.

I guess this Moon thinks he should be the one who is in charge (he thinks he is more superior) and his hatred for Sun still does not go off after separation.

So he may have treated Dark Sun badly, or worse, he just treated him just like when they were sharing the same body, just slightly better.

Like Moon would downgrade Dark Sun, belittle him, hit him with the whacking stick....

Because Sun at the beginning of the show, thinks that Moon hated his guts so much he didn't want to live with him, that's why he has bought a house in space.

Which means, in that time, Dark Sun still has the same mentality of these thinking, and plus with the Eclipse things, I guess he just snapped.

2. July 16th on Dark Sun's dimension

I think the July 16th in Dark Sun's dimension still happened. Because if it is not, why does Dark Sun hate Bloodmoon? He seems to despise the existence of Bloodmoon more than apathetic about him.

Which leads to the bunker. Y'all remember the big fight Sun and Moon had in the bunker, but gladly, they made amends after the big fight with Wither Storm? (Sun had been really down after that, but he decided to be a better person and forgave Moon)

There is one line I remember. "Every Sun hated their brother, they just don't know it yet."

What if in Dark Sun's dimension, there is none of it? Or Moon never wants to make amends, was too deeply in his self hated ? He never apologised to Dark Sun, which leads to Dark Sun's hatred for Moon growing more and more, day by day until till Dark Sun decides enough is enough.

Because it seems like Moon got caught off guard. Moon has tons of self defense machine bullshit, so that means, it just happened in one day when nothing happened, when Dark Sun and Moon still laugh with each other in the morning.

Moon got his downfall just exactly like Dark Sun said, because of his own ego, never believe his weak idiot brother would try and succeed in beating him down.

3. Sun and Dark Sun's nature

Sure Sun is very kind, he cares and loves his family so dearly and he always believes in second chances or something... But he is also a very realistic and pessimistic person.

When Sun decides something may be a threat to him (Dark Sun's case cuz that baby girl doesn't care about anybody) or his family, or when he has no emotion attracted to it, he immediately goes into kill mode.

(When Jack dumped Sun's cats into the trash can, he almost went to scrap Jack. He killed Eclipse v1 cuz there is no way Eclipse v1 would stop hurting his family, and when Sun went to the spirals, not only Sun destroyed Eclipse v2's computer, he also threatened to kill Solar Flares...)

What I am going to say is, Sun and All variants of Sun can be very single minded at the same time. With Dark Sun, not only did he torture Moon, he also programmed Monty or killed everyone that might cause problems for him. He just went down the killing route, and tried to win the prize who killed the most.

I think the reason why Dark Sun thinks kinda highly about Sun, not only because he sees himself in Sun, but also he knows about how Sun accidentally killed his Moon once.

The backbone Dark Sun says to Sun I think now it's just as simple as bland. Dark Sun wants Sun to hate Moon, to stop putting up with Moon. That is why he said Sun is naive, because Sun still waiting answer from the others. That's why he manipulated events to make Nexus evil, so he can open Sun's eyes, proving for Sun that every Moon is just the same assholes, no one would and will ever change that title, despite them saying again and again how many times they will be better.

4. Do you think Dark Sun is lonely?

Because Dark Sun is still Sun, he can't get rid of those illogical sentiments.

Letting Moon alive? Letting him have his own body but can't move or do anything? Not only is it in another level of petty and cruel, it also shows that despite everything, Dark Sun still can kill Moon properly.

And keeping his dimension alive despite killing or programming everyone? How he still think of it as his home? Purely sentimental.

And when he visits Lunar and Earth, these banter, these siblings moments, there is no way it is fake.

Sun is not a good actor. He may read patterns and act along these assumptions of people's thinking very well, but he is just too self aware and stiff to do it. Moon is the dramatic one. He is the one who fooled Eclipse v1 for a long time, enough time for them to found the star.

So that means there is some part of Dark Sun still enjoying it, still enjoying chatting with his siblings. Still want to have a family, have someone to rely on.

Dark Sun's Moon had begged and yelled at Sun to come back, that means there was a time when Dark Sun still showed up at that cell, looking at the broken Moon, and maybe think about what would change if Moon just being a slightly lesser asshole before wiping all these regrets off his head and enjoying His Moon's suffer.

"Maybe in a different timeline, we can be happy. But right now, it's just me and you in this hellhole alone, with I stand outside and you in the cage like you always be. Wish I could just kill you and move on. Wish our father is never right, that you are always just the violent beast. Wish I could hate you for that, and wish I could let go of you, Moon."

Sidenote: so what does it make Nexus, who refuses to acknowledge himself as Moon? Because it seems like Dark Sun still thinks of him as Moon, and already pulls his strings to make Moon kill Nexus faster.

And why Dark Sun! Moon said to not to believe everything Dark Sun said? And why does this Moon call Dark Sun "it"?

Does that mean in this Universe, it was Moon who disowned Dark Sun?

how I think Theon would rank his siblings

Rickon - they're besties. he doesn't know how they became besties or why rickon likes him so much, but they're bff's and nothing will break that bond. is lovingly mean and teases him a lot like the good big brother he is. (there was like a 6 mi the streak where rickon would *not* sleep in his own bed and would only sleep in theon's, again, why this is, he has no clue. he didn't mind after a while. they normally watched a movie until rickon fell asleep and then Theon went about doing shit on his Xbox/computer till he fell asleep)

Arya - sassy little shit. has kicked him in the ribs. also tried to fight one of his shitty ex friends for being a dick. he respects her.

i watched the x-men films for the first time ever here are my thoughts *spoilers obviously* :D

small backstory: i was going to go watch Deadpool & Wolverine however i have seen the previous deadpool movies but i’ve never watch the x-men films at all, my knowledge of that universe is minimal. my coworker suggested i at least watch Logan before watching Deadpool & Wolverine so i did.

Logan is easily one of the best Marvel films i have ever watched in my life, like top 3 films for sure it was amazing im still thinking about this movie weeks later. so i watch Deadpool & Wolverine and realize im low key obsessed with logan so might as well watch all the x-men films ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Right of the bat, Logan & Jean’s romance felt SO forced. like it wasn’t believable for me, in the first movie it felt like Logan decided he was in love with Jean, not that he is actively falling in love with her, it was kinda weird

Meanwhile you can like clearly tell that Scott & Jean are in love with each other, but it feels like Logan’s character is just disregarding that

I understand in the comics it’s supposed to be a love triangle of sorts, i just think that if they wanted to do that for the films they could have portrayed it better

Logan’s dedication to taking care of Charles warms my heart in a way you cannot imagine, he truly cares so deeply for that man, charles gave him the opportunity of having a new family and i feel like logan will always be grateful for him

it was like watching Logan go from only caring about kids in a “i’m a teacher” way to seeing Laura in a “i’m her caretaker now” kind of way, like there was a shift in his character that he wasn’t expecting

my favorite scene of the whole film was when Logan realizes that it was his clone self that stabbed Charles, and his immediate gut reaction was to say “It wasn’t me” and to reassure Charles that Logan would NEVER do that

right off the bat i’m going to say Days of Future Past exceeds all four of these films, so fucking good, my favorite after Logan

but yeah First Class wasn’t like, terrible per say, i just found myself a little bored ngl

absolutely here for eric & charles love story, they’re literally friends to lovers to enemies to still lovers but they’re still enemies i adore it

i liked the character that mystique brought (& jennifer lawrence) but it was just such a jump from the mystique in the first films

also i just think that if eric wants to kill his abuser then he should go for it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just saying charles it was a lil weird u wanted to stop him

i get the premise, setting up the basis of the x-men, but i just found it a little lacking

I don't know if this idea has ever been explored. But I always wondered, what if Adam did get redeemed? After years of self reflection and improvement, he's finally welcomed back into heaven. He gets to have his old life back, see his friends, everything he lost is his again.

But then he has his life in hell, his relationship with Lucifer. He's made good friends with people like Angel and maybe even Husk. People like Vaggie have long since forgave him. How do you think Adam would feel about this situation? How would Lucifer feel?

I guess for some unnecessary angst, Adam, for some reason (probably Sera or some rule in heaven), made it to where Adam couldn't be welcomed back if he's still with Lucifer. So he has to choose.

Anon I actually LOOOOOOOVE exploring this idea! I haven't really done anything about it cause, well, I feel like it needs to be a certain way for me to make it justice? Like I don't want to just do a silly black and white vertical comic like I do with one-off jokes, it's a concept that honestly deserves at least something with a bit more detail, like at the very least something like my StOP comic (if you've seen it).

I think it's the perfect climax for an Adam redemption story. Maybe it's cliche and predictable, but godddddd the drama would be soooooooo good dskfjsdf.

If you know that popular comic about Angel Dust getting redeemed, pulled up to heaven, but Husk just confessed to him and Angel never got a chance to say it back and then begs on the floor to be let down again, crying? I kinda want something like that LOL (a little bit more complicated than that, but the vibe is the same).

I love the idea of Adam finally getting what he wants, and then realizing what he wanted.... isn't what he wants at all. I want him to get a taste of Heaven again, that thing that he worked SO. HARD. for, that he spent YEARS in that HELLHOLE to be let back in this place and...! And it feels empty, it feels hollow, the happiness he had started to build in Hell meant so much more to him now than whatever commodities Heaven could offer him. Why couldn't people in Hell and Heaven see each other? why couldn't they visit? Why was he so miserable now when a couple years ago this was all he wanted? And then I need him to actually do something stupid, or dramatic, or something equally meaningful to actually go back to Hell with Lucifer and his new family

It is often said that love is another reason to give you motivation for living. Love. Something you never knew since your parents abandoned you from a young age. Until he came into your life. Park SungHoon. He used to be a competitive ice skater,until his parents divorced,not willing to keep him in the rink.

Sunghoon made you feel in ways you never felt in all of your years of living. He made you feel alive. He gives that boost of energy whenever you need it,enveloping you in hugs,planting kisses on your face while whispering soft praises in your ear every time.

Of course,like every couple,you had numerous fights,often ending with you both stripping each other's clothes,waking up together every morning. And that's how you always forgave him. Either he fucked you real good,either he apologized with his eyes puffy while you let him cry in your chest.

Not long enough you found out that Sunghoon is a vampire. You wish he was just joking but you saw him with your own eyes. He killed your ex boyfriend, sucking the blood out of him while you watch the scene in front of your eyes in horror.

Ever since you found out he was a vampire, you practically begged him to bite you, completely not believing that you'll turn into one. And he did bit you. While walking through a forest, he found himself very thirsty and lucky for him, your neck was next to him. However, you did turn into a vampire,according to him. Yes, you do have fangs,but you never felt the need to drink blood and you thank whoever made these vampire laws for that.

Being a few years older than you, he spoiled you more than anyone. Buying you flowers almost everyday, walking you to highschool and waiting for you to go home together. Everything was great until you went home after school alone,finding Sunghoon in the living room,lying on the floor,blood coming out of his stomach.

Like every other relationships,there is someone who doesn't stand the fact you are dating each other, and that someone is his best friend, Jay.

He is the one who hurt Sunghoon,threatening to kill him if he doesn't stay away from you.

Sunghoon always assured you that everything will be okay, lying that Jay would probably lose interest if you didn't give him any attention,which you didn't. But things did turn worse, each time Sunghoon came home injured, wounds decorating his pale skin, while you blame yourself every time it happens.

And here you are now, running away from Jay and his friends. Among the freshly fallen snow, Sunghoon stood out like a drop of ink on a white canvas,dressed in black from head to toe. He was already injured, and you could feel his body weaken,having to carry him in your arms.

Out of nowhere,just like a hard rainy day,Jay stood in front of you, hands balled up in fists,while Sunghoon grabbed your arm,telling you to run. On your way out,you meet a boy who you assume it's Jake,one of Jay's friends. He is quick to grab your wrist, while taking you somewhere else.

In reality,Sunghoon knew everything about Jay and his friends. All of them are brothers,well not blood-related brothers,but growing up together tightened their bond,being inseparable. But that didn't stop Sunghoon from betraying them, dating a human. You. He betrayed his brothers because he loved you too much to let you go,not caring about what the others will think. A vampire and a human, something that others will say it's a cliché, but you worked it out.

But if there's one thing he had forgotten about his brothers is that they have superpowers. Something he was never gifted with,making him the powerless brother,always left out.

Sticking his dagger in Jay's stomach,Sunghoon feels that something isn't right. Just a second ago, when he thought he was fighting Jay,he quickly took out the dagger,breaking the illusion,revealing your figure.

Just as the illusion crumbled,his heart did the same.

With his lips parting in shock,he watched as your body went limp,falling to your knees like a trampled flower by the road. He is quick to throw away the knife,catching you in his arms.

It feels funny to him the way he didn't hesitate to end the life of his own brother,but yet he is witnessing you die right in his embrace. Regret washed over him, feeling his eyes watering.

You were fighting with your own body to keep your eyes open,your breath shortening,struggling to let words out. Even if you are a vampire,your body weakens more each time you take a deep breath.

A petrified Sunghoon stood in place,his brain not comprehending what's happening at the moment as he stared at you: your face was pale,lips almost blue while you pressed your palm on your wound trying to stop the blood from pouring. He watched as soft whimpers escaped your mouth,closing your eyes as you pressed harder on the cut on your abdomen. Tears were rolling down your cold cheeks,feeling his hands shaking under you.

With the way his hands were holding you and his voice trembling while calling your name simultaneously it was evident you're slipping away from him,death approaching you.

He couldn't believe it. How could he let this happen to you? If only he had listened to his brothers, if only he realized he's putting you in danger - how is he going to live knowing what he did to you?

All the pain you had suffered from was always caused by him and he wishes he was in your place now, dying so you wouldn't have to deal with his bullshit anymore. The broken sob your throat emitted made his inside burn,holding onto your fragile body as you struggled to sit back on your knees,trying to face him.

He even thought about taking you to the hospital,but it was too late. Then he finally realized that no matter what he does - he will lose you, right now, in a forest, a place you were always afraid of.

How would your friends react? He had just taken away someone's life. Your future,all your hopes and dreams - he stole them away from you.

Something flashes before his eyes, a foggy memory of his younger self. His limp body lying down on the cold snow,while his brothers were pacing around him. Then he remembered. His older brother,Heeseung. He told him that if vampires get badly injured, drinking another's vampire blood will cure them,so he immediately thought of you. But Heeseung also told him that once you drink another's vampire blood,that vampire will fade,vanishing in thin air. And so he is willing to take this risk if that is what will make you live,for both of you.

He grabs your shoulders,leveling his face with yours,his cold breath fanning over your features. His voice was shaky,preparing himself to leave you,willing to end his own life.

"___ you have to bite me."

"no,no I can't."

You shake your head in despair as he cups your cheeks,wiping the tears away. He nods and hums,begging you to do this,telling you he will not be the one who'll live. You wrap your hands around his shoulders,holding him tight,your tears wetting his coat. You feel him kiss your shoulder,then your forehead and then finally your lips. The kiss was a soft one,almost nonexistent,not like you could feel anything from how hard your body was bleeding. He breaks the hug,kissing your blooded hand,placing his own ring on your finger.

He whispers soft praises in your ear ,casually muttering apologies, while his hand is patting the side of your head as you sob uncontrollably. You bring your head back from his shoulder,looking in his eyes.

"Please don't make me do this."

Your eyes were begging him,your croaky voice telling him that this is not the only way you'll live.

your body slowly gave in as your head dropped in his chest,his arms supporting you.

"___ ,I'm sorry."

He gave you a final nod and you felt a tear stopping on your cheek. Not running down,just laying flat on your cheek,almost if it had frozen.

You frown,confused why it had to happen to you. Why do you have to lose the only person in your life? Why are you out of everyone?

And so you did it. You sunk your teeth in his neck,starting to suck his blood. You felt so disgusting and dirty, how can you do this to him? Why is he letting you live? Hot tears were now cascading on your cheeks as you watched his figure slowly vanish in thin air,leaving you alone.

Fragile snowflakes started to fall down on the surface. Broken sobs fell out of your mouth as you stared at your hands. You bring your hand to your mouth,kissing the ring he gave you. The snow under you was now melting,your tears falling down like a river.

Trying to get up,your weak body betrays you as you fall to your knees again,feeling a sharp pain in your chest. You touch the wound on your stomach,feeling dry blood,realizing it healed.

He healed it. He gave his life for you,so he wouldn't feel guilty.

You look around yourself in a way of getting familiar with the place. But the only thing you could see were trees,snow and your blood decorating half of it. You place your hands on the ground trying to stabilize yourself as you slowly get up. Then you feel a presence behind you,making you turn your heels.

You see him. Sunghoon. Standing tall in front of you. You feel like your mind was messing with you because there was no way he was still alive after you saw him practically disintegrate in the air. He smiles at you and you feel your heartbeat quicken, a warm feeling settling down in your chest.

"If I pretend you're still here then I'll go insane. You know I hate that."

This is not real,none of this is real, you tell yourself, feeling frustrated and confused. You shake your head again,finding your way out of the forest.

And that was it. Four years of relationship were gone just like that. You concluded that you have to live your life,for both. Damn you,Park Sunghoon. Why did you have to save me?

"A bit. Why do you ask?"

You grinned and pushed him down onto the bed, climbing on top of him

"Alright then. Just give me a bit to change this." He sits up ,takes the condom off and puts it in a nearby trash bag then rolls another one on. He sits back down and guides your hips onto his lap and helping you slide down on him, grunting slightly. And then helped you move your hips on him. With every move you did Lando's hands wandered. He grabbed your ass ,your thighs your breasts, and covered you. In marks. There was not a single place that this man hasn't touched on your body. Every position you named , jokingly or not,he delivered.

You were probably on your fourth round ,and you were so overstimulated that a breath over your core would ruin you.

You nod slightly,still laying on your stomach and muttered something to give him a sign that you were okay.

Lando got up from the bed,went to the bathroom, got a towel and damped it in warm water then he came back at you

"Y/N can you turn around please?"

You just do as he asked you to ,too tired to talk

He pushed your legs apart so he could clean you up as gently as he could , knowing that you were overstimulated.

When you felt the towel press against you ,you let out a soft whimper and he stopped

"I'm sorry. Just endure this a little bit more,okay?"

After he finished cleaning you up he went through his luggage and got a comfortable shirt that you'd sleep in. He put the oversized shirt on you and quietly went to the bathroom,took a shower and came back, getting into the bed next to you.

He wrapped his arm around you and buried his face in the nape of your neck.

"I love you..."

Tose three words made your heart race but you were too tired to actually process any of that. And you didn't think he meant them so rather than embarrassing yourself you just remaied quiet and pretended you were asleep.

For the next races you avoided him as much as you could. Always coming up with excuses when he tried talking to you such as "sorry,I have to use the restroom" or you checked your phone and said you had a call. Until he got sick of it. He just busted into your drivers room and looked at you.

"What the fuck is up your ass? What did I do wrong Y/N?"

You look at him and shrug your shoulders as if you didn't know what he was talking about

"What do you mean mate?"

"What do i mean? You've been avoiding me and you've been making up half assed excuses. If you're going to lie to me at least just give your interest."

"Don't be stupid. I'm not.. avoiding you"

He frowned and walked closer

"Bullshit. You can't look a moment into my eyes without running away."

He wrapped his arms around you

"Just tell me what I did wrong.."

You pulled back slightly

"You didn't do anything."

"Then? You've been avoiding me since we slept together. There must be something,no?"

"I- look Lando. I don't think it's going to work out."

"Why not? Everything was perfect that night."

You groaned in frustration

"You can't tell me that every single 'i love you' that night was sincere. You just loved the feeling of it all and you had to drink as well. And we're teammates. It won't work"

His eyes widen in shock and he mutters something to himself, then wraps his arms around your waist again.

"I'm sorry, but are you dense? I had a literal sip of whiskey and i was very conscious of what i was doing and who i was with. There's a difference between 'i love this' and 'i love you'."

He pushed you against the small desk in your room , leaning towards your ear.

"I don't say things I don't mean Y/N."

His breath hovering over your neck sent chills through you and your words gave you hope. Hope that he actually loved you.

"And if I need to prove to you that all i did and all i said was true I'll do it all over again,right here and right now."

And that was the tip of the iceberg. You were already getting excited and your breath hitched.

He placed his hands on your thighs as he pushed you further up on the desk and kissed you fiercely. Your tongues softly burshed against each other, making you let out a pleased hum into the kiss. It was magical. There was nothing else besides the two of you in that moment and it was so sweet but so.. desperate. That's the word. You were desperate to re-live that night right here and right now, just as he said.

Every good story must have an ending or a cliffhanger,and that ending in your case was an obnoxiously loud knock on your driver's room and Mia calling out for you

"Y/N race is in 30 minutes come on!"

She shamelessly entered your room and her jaw dropped as she saw you and Lando pressed up against each other like that.

"I'm not going to ask what the hell you two were doing but race is starting in 30 minutes so you better get your asses to warm up a little."

Both Lando's and your cheeks flushed,Lando leaving first with a soft 'sorry' and you stopped by Mia

"Just- don't say anything about it,okay? Please Mia i trust you with my life." You kept asking her to not tell anyone in a panicked way and she just chuckled softly and rubbed your back

"Hey calm down. I'm not a snitch. I'm your friend , either you two fucked or not I see you the same."

You were surprised by her boldness and tried to deny her words.

"What? No,we didn't-"

She raised her eyebrow and nodded

"Oh I'm so sure of it...now chop chop to the pit lane."

"Yeah, yeah..thanks"

She smiled

"No problem. Good luck, I'll be hearing from you in a bit."

And from that day on everything between you and Lando changed. You hooked up pretty often and you also went on dates which was nice. You loved getting to know Lando outside of work and you loved spending tim with him in general,but he started talking to a new chick. You weren't together but it still pissed you off. He was talking about her and saying that she's nice and all that. Everytime he pronounced her name all you could get out was a strained 'mhm'.

He took notice of that and decided to tease you about it

"You know i think Cathy's really sweet, don't you?"

"Yeah, real sweet."

"What's wrong?"

You sighed and rolled your eyes a bit

"Nothing's wrong. Absolutely nothing."

"What, are you jealous Y/N?" He had that infuriating smug look on his face and it annoyed you in that situation.

"Dream of it a Norris. What am i your girlfriend to be jealous of another chick?"

"You never said you were opposed to that idea."

"You never asked me."

He took your hand gently and pulled out a small box.

"I know you like jewelry so i got you a bracelet for this occasion."

Your eyes widened and your heart melted.

"You shouldn't have ,but .. what's the occasion?"

"Me asking you to be my girlfriend."

You smiled a bit and looked at the bracelet, carefully putting it on

"Hmm. I don't know..I might have to think of that."

"What a shame. I really, really wanted you to say yes.."

And after those words you kiss him.

He is taken by surprise slightly but he immediately kisses you back,his hand snaking around your waist

"You didn't hear me say no.." you said once you've pulled back

"But, I didn't hear a yes either. I need you to say it."

"Of course I do...Yes, it's a yes."

And you became official. Took a few months for accomodation and then made it public to the media. It was kind of a new thing that teammates dated but hey! Who were they to stop you from loving each other. You loved each other truly and after 4 years he finally popped the big question. You often talked about it ,wether it was a joke or not you just subtly hinted that you wanted something intimate,just the two of you if he ever was to propose and here he was ,on your yacht ride under the stars, eating dinner and naming the constellation on the sky. He always found a way to make serious things amusing,and he did it when it was the case. He knew when ti be serious and when to joke around and that's what you absolutely adored about him. Other than his eyes,his hair and very obviously,his hands. Your thoughts were interrupted by his soft voice.

"You know..when i was little, before i got into karting I've always wanted to be a magician." You raise your eyebrows a bit,and your face lights up just thinking about a little Lando doing magic tricks in his house.

"Really? Can you still perform,hm?"

"Oof.. I'm a bit rusty but i still have a trick up my sleeve." He said as he reached behind your ear and pulled out a ring in a small red box.

"Yeah,i still got it." And just a second after he kneeled down ,held your hand and looked up at you.

"Y/N it's been four beautiful years with you.

Years that I've laughed, I've cried, I've been disappointed and you were there to witness it all and talk me through every rough day I had. And I want you next to me forever. So without getting too cheesy for your sake.. Will you make me the happiest man on earth and become Y/N Norris? Will you marry me?"

You were at a loss of words, the only thing running through your mind was a huge yes.

And you just said what you were thinking. Yes!

He slowly slid the ring on your finger then hugged you tightly, picking you up ,spinning you around and kissing you uncontrollably.

You quickly announced everyone,after a few months you had your wedding and you felt fulfilled. Your life was complete and you knew you didn't need anything else from it.

Trying to figure out Paintbrush and Silver Spoon’s current relationship is so crazy because they literally haven’t talked on screen since EPISODE 12 of season 3, but they’ve talked about each other separately like in exit interviews or on stream, so we can kinda get an idea of what they are. However, the funny thing about that is….

Neither of them are telling the truth. They’re both unreliable narrators, trying to sway the story in their preferred direction. Silver’s clearly enamored with Paintbrush, and keeps talking about how they’re best friends and they can’t bear to be without him or whatever. This is obviously not true, seeing as Paintbrush said that even though their relationship is mending, the two definitely aren’t close.

I don’t think Paintbrush is being entirely truthful either. They say that they don’t like him that much and don’t consider him a friend, but I don’t think Silver was lying when he said they spend a lot of time together and he fixes their bristles when they get messy. I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t seem like something you would let someone do if you didn’t like them. I can understand why they would try to downplay how close they are though, considering that they’re probably mad at themself and probably kind of embarrassed for liking Silver so much that they forgave him so quickly. I would be embarrassed too. It could also be some good old fashioned being a tsundere, who knows!

The only canon third person view of their relationship we have is Goo’s. Obviously he had to have had a reason to think PB and Silver are best friends. Either he was just observing them spending time together and being happy, in which case Paintbrush is definitely lying about them not being friends. Second option is that Silver was yapping to Goo about Paintbrush and saying how close the two of them are. Anyway, the two must be somewhat wholesome together if Goo, the innocent lil squishy guy, thought they were cute together.

Anyway, I’m really enjoying trying to piece these crumbs together. I haven’t seen anyone else speculating on this, so feel free to add something if you noticed something I didn’t! Or you could argue with me. You could do that too I guess.

Here's the reasons why I don't connect well with Loumand in the book :

So one of them is because Louis never even once admitted to Lestat or Claudia so ruthlessly that he loved Lestat and suddenly with Armand he became more free in love & more open , I don't think it was because Armand listened to him or understood him better because there are some parts of iwtv book where Lestat was capable of those yet Louis thought it was manipulation 🙄 . Why didn't he ever think the same about Armand ? 😏 The answer is simple because Armand didn't exactly shown his mind powers to Louis yet . And even when he told Louis he did that & he used it on Louis to make him turn Madeline Louis still forgave him ??? And just asked not to do it again ! And Armand didn't do it ? 😏 What makes us sure he didn't ? Cause there are two sentences which showed he most probably did use it again . 1. " Go to sleep Louis " after Louis burnt the theater & wanted to escape Paris & 2. When he admitted that when he heard Lestat survived he said this :

While it is true that Armand might have kept the fact that Lestat was alive from Louis to protect him it is also worth mentioning Armand does many manipulative things to help the people he loved too . Armand is able to read anyone's mind & if he had read Louis's he must've known if Lestat being alive will make Louis feel anything or not , right ? And why didn't he tell Lestat about Louis being alive ? 😏 What was he protecting Lestat from ? Other than the fact that if he knew he would probably do whatever he could to find Louis again & talk to him & they would probably leave Armand again & get back together ? 😬 So no it wasn't all about protecting Louis from himself or anyone it was for himself too .

All I can think of is how numb Louis became when Claudia died & Armand & Louis kinda fell apart & just lived together because there were no other vampires who would accept them & they were both afraid of being alone & not finding anyone who could love them again as they once loved each other . In my opinion they practically stayed together out of desperation for not being alone & for Louis because he didn't have anyone else to lean on as powerful as Armand . And Armand was emotionally so obsessed with Louis & he couldn't end it easily.

Armand tried to make Louis separated with Claudia a lot he wanted Louis for himself & he didn't want to share him which in the book Lestat never tried to do . And then he orchestrated a whole show to get rid of Claudia & make Louis believe Lestat was responsible for her doom 🙄 although poor Claudia was already doomed because of Lestat's selfishness of making someone so young but let's not forget that they punished her for killing her maker & one of their kind . Another attempt of Armand to separate Louis & Lestat & let's not forget did Louis ever actually ask himself if Lestat was still in the theater or not when he burnt it down ? Yes He didn't even care at that moment he was angry & he was mourning & that can make you not think of whatever you're doing at that moment . Because later when Louis said this :

Doesn't this indicate that Louis cared who was burnt in that theater ? He said I didn't really care I hadn't thought of Lestat at all the night I torched the theater . Isn't it weird to you that he thought of Santiago & Celeste but didn't really care about Lestat ? 🤔 And if he didn't then why did he burn Lestat with them ? He said he didn't hate him for Claudia's death . Don't you sense some mind power here ? 👀

And look what Louis said about Lestat being alive : I cannot convey to you the feeling that came over me when I heard this .

I mean what does that say ? Why does Louis say this ?

And one more thing if Lestat had escaped the theater who helped him escape ? He didn't escape in fact Armand had taken him again to the tower 😏 .

4. Finally this is why I don't like book Loumand . No hate on AMC Loumand what so ever because I haven't seen anything from them but if the show runners want to do the books they have to at least notice one of these flaws & voids in Louis & Armand's relationship as much as they did in Louis & Lestat's relationship . 😉

Tom was your friend for so long but it hadn’t started that way. In fact, you guys were enemies almost, he would constantly be annoying and push your limits and you were just so fed up with it. Few months ago he decided to talk to you and apologize for his actions and you forgave him. You both started spending a lot of time together and Tom started developing a little crush on you. One night you were at your friend’s house and you received a text from Tom.

“Hey, there’s a party tonight at my friend’s house. Wanna go?”

You talked to your friend a bit unsure but she was squealing and so happy for you. “Oh y/n GO! He’s basically asking you out.” You shook your head in denial. “Oh please, he doesn’t like me, I'm not even his type.” She rolled her eyes and made you stand up. “Makeover time then!” She was ecstatic that you just couldn’t stop her. She had you take your clothes off and remain in your bras and panties so she could just completely change everything. She dyed your hair a blond color and she curled it and then she did your makeup giving you a dark Smokey eye. Now it was time for your outfit..

She went through her closet and you never noticed how skimpy and short most of her outfits really were. She truly was a major flirt so it made sense when you thought about it. She gave you a short black dress with a low v cut that your tits might as well have been out and some black heels. She was so happy with how you looked she took a picture. “You need to get your man!” She yelled and you rolled your eyes. “Shut up. It’s not like that. He gets a new girl every week… I’m nothing but a friend.”

At around 10pm Tom picked you up and he stared at you for a bit before having a smile but he tried to play it cool. “Y/n… you look nice.” He said in an almost monotone voice. He didn’t want to make anything obvious. You sort of sighed hoping he’d seem more excited to see you than that and then you tucked some hair behind your ear. He opened the car door for you and you got in holding your purse. The ride was silent and sort of uncomfortable. So many thoughts went through your head. Did he think you dressed too slutty? Did he not like it? Is it because of your hair? You fidgeted with your fingers trying to relax.

At the party you went to immediately get a drink because you really needed one. You walked past everyone going to the kitchen pouring yourself a drink and chugging it. You then drank a few more… 3…? 4…? You started losing track. You wanted to have fun now and you went to the dance floor. As you danced to the songs a guy grabbed your waist and tried grinding against you. You tried telling him to go away but he hadn’t. His grip tightened and you were uncomfortable.Then Tom came over, thank the universe for that. “Get away from her.” He said coldly and the man refused. Tom shrugged before placing a bunch to his face and the guy fell holding his nose.

He grabbed your hand running out of the party and you both laughed and it was so late, the stars shined above the sky and it was beautiful. Eventually you two stopped running because of your heels. “That was AWESOME!” You shouted and he laughed too looking at his knuckles. You panicked seeing the blood and you took your scarf off wrapping his hand. It began to snow and you looked up as the snow hit your face and he just stared at you with a soft smile.

You noticed his smile and you couldn’t help but ask him what his attitude was earlier. “Hey.. when you picked me up you looked so miserable why?” His smile faded and he sighed. “I just wanted to keep it cool. I didn't want to seem obsessed or anything.” You chuckled and put your hands on his cheeks. “Well I think it was mean.” He chuckled and looked down at you. “You really are beautiful y/n. No wonder I fell for you.” You looked at him surprised by this. He liked you this whole time!? “You son of a bitch!” You said playfully pushing him and he chuckled. “I like you too why didn’t you confess!” “I was just scared” he said. He held your waist before kissing you. You were shocked for a moment but you kissed him back tilting your head a bit to deepen it. He broke the kiss and kissed your head.

“You seem a bit drunk, want to go to my place? Watch a movie?” You nodded and he grabbed your hand and you both walked to his place.

Avantris Fan comic Scripts #1

Often when I get ideas for comics, I break my panels into scripts first. For one reason or another, some of these projects never get finished. These scripts are less prose-y than fics but still contain dialogue and basic interactions.

Seeing as I've been under the weather, I thought you might like to see some in this stage anyway. I hope they inspire or entertain! Enjoy~

The Reason Why [My indulgent thoughts over why Kremy continues to remain distant from Torbek (aside from comedy and the Warlock's genuine fear over the other's Witchlight abilities) flavored with a smattering of Coalecroux.] * * * *

Establishing shot- Carnival Lecroux are walking through a forest clearing. The crew has had a long day of traveling and are eager to set up camp. It seems as though their latest victory is due to Torbek. Frost and Gricko are congratulating the bugbear for a job well done. He looks at each in turn, in surprise. Gricko: "Good job Torbek! You really nailed it today!" Frost: "Yes, with this, we might finally get to the next town ahead of schedule. You really gave it your all." Sensing the Alligator Warlock coming up behind him, Torbek whips around, unable to help but anticipate more praise. Kremy doesn't even look at him. Kremy: "Good night Torbek." The lizardfolk wanders off, leaving Torbek to sag with disappointment and a sad groan. Gideon enters the frame, looking inquisitive. He follows to where Kremy went and finds the other already sitting by a campfire, on a log, fishing out something to smoke. The warlock doesn't bat an eye when Gideon strides up to join him, both comfortably doing as they have done for years now; an expected and normal routine. As the genasi settles next to him, he turns to Kremy, curiosity more than judgement furrowing his brow. Gideon: "Hey, how come you're so hard on Torbek?" Kremy continues to look ahead, puffing a smoke "I don't know whatcha mean, Gid. I've treated him like I always treat him." Gideon: "Yeah, exactly, even after all we been through?" He can't help but crack a small laugh at that. Gideon: "I mean, yeah, he's Torbek. But ain't telling people what they like to hear something yer good at? That's kinda your thing!" He pulls out his own cigar to take a puff, still jovial and relaxed. Gideon: "You know even one nice thing would have him ready to die for ya! It's like you can't even look at em!" Kremy breaks, finally looking at Gideon, flustered by the subject (and possibly how handsome Gideon looks in the previous panel) Kremy: "That's precisely why I can't, Gid!! Do you know what I see every time I do? Do you know what I SAW when I looked him over? Every time he gives me that big stupid hopeful smile?!.. My mistakes."

"…" Gideon pauses. Who is this and what have they done with Kremy? He breaks the tension with another laugh. Gideon: "What are you talking about, man? I thought we all agreed, we were only like, a little at fault and he's already forgave us for that!" Kremy, turning serious: "I ain't talking about just the witchlight."

Gid goes quiet.

Kremy: "Do you ever stop to think about why Torbek was picked? Out of everyone in the whole carnival?" Gideon: "Well yeah, we all said, the thing with the herris whee--" Kremy: "It's because they thought nobody would miss him. No one would notice if they took him away." A look of disgust fills Kremy's face. Kremy: "He was poor, he was stupid--" Gideon: "--Smelly?" Kremy: "Smelly. He was living in a dumpster!" The Warlock angrily tosses his cigarette, we follow the action as it hits the ground and bounces at the bottom of the panel. Kremy: "Cause I wasn't payin him! He was my employee Gid, and if he was just a little more put together, maybe so much might not have happened to him! How am I supposed to look him in the eye after that?!"

We hold on Kremy for a beat. Gideon offers his cigar from out of frame and Kremy takes a drag hesitantly.

Kremy: "Thing is--" He puffs out the smoke "I keep thinking about how much time gets thrown around here. And I ask myself… if I went back to those times, if I'd still keep his checks and end up handing him over all over again. And I think I would. I'm at war with myself for that." Gideon stares at Kremy, expression carefully guarded but concerned. For a bit of meta humor we hear the DM represented as a text box above him. Nikki: "Gideon not being good at words but knowing Kremy enough to understand his conflict and that it takes a lot of guts to admit that to yourself and know yourself that well puts his arm around the alligator." Gideon: "Well. That's a lot of maybes for ya Kremy. I didn't think you even thought about those. But you can start by making it up to him now. Then, maybe one day? Those maybes might be different."

We view the pair from the back now. With the genasi's arm slung around alligator's shoulder we finally see a flash of a smile from the other con artist.

Kremy: "Reckon you may be right gid. Reckon you may be right." (But he still isn't paying him any time soon)
