I had a conversation with my partner the other day, involving how people with ADHD approach the dopamine chase. Despite what we know about Kokichi purposely villainizing himself for the sake of his classmates, he was a little shit on purpose before he forced himself to be MORE of a little shit. Most of the long term Danganronpa fans can agree he probably has ADHD. Like, just look at him and how he acts, even before he decides to take on the villain role. My personal take on this is that he chases dopamine by bothering people. In this sense, he feels bored, and boredom is not an option for us and especially not him. And so, by constantly being an annoyance, he entertains himself, getting that dopamine, and when he's no longer getting said dopamine from the conversation he abruptly leaves. Also explains why he just doesn't do specific things for the simple fact that he just doesn't want to. It wouldn't trigger that part of his brain and just the thought of doing it is agonizing so he just doesn't. What's y'all's take though? I'm interested to see what everyone else thinks.
