this is a controversial take but i don’t really think sexual wincest dynamic would be the same as the dynamics they have with girls. mostly because this interpretation tends to ignore canonical nuances that define sam and dean’s relationship, which includes dean’s extreme possessiveness, sam’s willing submissiveness with dean (especially when it comes to physical touch), the fact that dean is the only one with whom sam is able to be physically vulnerable in a way he can’t with anybody else, the fact that dean genuinely loves taking care of his little brother. it’s an essential part of their relationship, and it just makes sense for it to be part of their sexual dynamic too

#i’m not trying to say it’s definite canon bc we all have our own interpretations #but i do find it a bit weird that the fandom uses their scenes with girls as proof that dean is sub bottom or that sam is domtop #because samdean is way more complicated than sxual relationships they have with random girls like it’s not just about fucking #dean loves taking care of sam and he also needs to know that sam belongs to him at all times and sam loves being taken care of by dean #it’s something they need from each other and they don’t/can’t have that with anyone else #plus they’re canonically each other’s exceptions. dean might be subby with everyone except for his brother #and sam might be toppy with everyone except dean #also if you wanna compare ruby to dean then you gotta admit that sam let her softdom him <3 #wincest #spn

ive been thinkin about it today and ngl i am not personally interested in envy being a point of contention in leo and donnie's relationship unless it goes equally extreme on both sides, both of them yearning for the each other's particular confidence in their strengths while failing to understand completely that its just one big coping mechanism and not something that should be envied at all. not twins in the way that they complete each other and need the other to feel whole, but in the way that they always feel incomplete no matter what they do, always secretly undervaluing what they have already, and the other has everything they want to feel worthy as a person. i ESPECIALLY enjoy this dynamic if this is contrasted with them being extremely caring and supportive of each other even as they feel stuck in each other's shadows..... so much drama can be derived from the idea

Can we talk about how there is not just 1 but 4 versions of Melissa Errico and Raul Esparza performing “Move On” from SITPWG on YouTube (these span 21 years I might add). Each version is just the tiniest bit different from the others but the performance from both of them is always amazing. #fucks me up that there are two whole new animals in the house that i barely know #who depend on me for everything #barely recognize me as a friend or helper #and are so incredibly incredibly fragile #i got worried for junie today because her spay incision had some swelling #and it's normal to have some and i have seen it before #but after what we just wemt through i got upset and rushed her to the vet #who said it was fine and thankfully we have free office visits #but i was so upset even though i knew it was probably normal #i look at them and i see adorable cuddly sweet TEMPORARY things and i feel like something inside me got broken somehow #and i was right all along that after it was all over i would come back but not quite as myself #i just hadn't fully understood the extent #we are keeping them and it sort of had to happen when it did but i think it was too early for me #they are so cute and when they do cuddle it's so sweet and obviously i would fight for them as hard as i would for Fancy #because that's just how the deal works and it isn't about you at all it's about how they each carry a little world inside them just as we d #and that deserves equal respect and care regardless of my personal affections #but i look at them and i see little creatures that don't belong here and are foreign in some fundamental way #and that they will be gone in just a little while and things will go back to how they were #which is impossible #we will settle in and i doubt anything i am feeling is abnormal but I'm really struggling and i feel so bad about that #i don't know #it's just a lot to deal with #and i feel very lonely and sad about it #and under it all the sick feeling of having JUST held all three lads as they passed and the VISCERAL reality of it #and knowing one day if everything goes just right i will be holding them too #dear god life is so fragile and every living thing is just as mortal as any other

Lesbian!Ziyal transing Garak’s gender is absolutely peak. Ziyal’s logic leap of “am I bi? No! Garak’s actually a woman!” is amazing

I can genuinely see Ziyal cracking Garak’s egg without even intending to do so tbh. Like, she just filters her attraction to Garak through the lense of only being attracted to women and starts seeing Garak as a woman in her brain subconsciously without really thinking about it at all.

She buys them matching dresses because she thinks they’ll be cute. She offers to paint Garak’s claws to match hers. She asks if Garak wants to accompany her and Kira on a girls' night. She asks Garak why she keeps her hair so short and if she’s considered growing it out.

And Garak spends most of this thinking that Ziyal is seeing her as like, a gay best friend sort of thing, but she’s not gonna object or call attention to it because then maybe Ziyal will stop and honestly, Garak really is enjoying being pampered and prettied up and given makeup and invited to a girls only sauna session—

It takes Ziyal several months to realise what she’s been doing, but by then, everyone else on the station is also calling Garak and a woman, and Garak is correcting exactly no one on this, so she decides all is well that ends well, right?

(Kira is skeptical at first, but then thinks about how something like this would be considered shameful on Cardassia, and upon concluding that Garak must be entirely sincere about all this, she starts taking personal responsibility for intimidating anyone who questions Garak’s gender from then on. She may or may not end up nearly breaking Dukat’s arm over this.)
