josefnewgarden I will not forget this day back in April for multiple reasons. alexpalou and I planned to trade helmets earlier in the season during the Daytona24. We forgot to do it, and this day (Friday of the Barber race weekend), Alex made sure to remind me that we had a helmet trade that was overdue. That reminder and the way he treated me on that specific day, meant so much to me. Alex was one of the very few people to treat me exactly the same way that he had always done before.

When the world turns on you, you see people's true colors. I have immense respect for Alex and his character. He's a good man, has a beautiful family and works hard for everything he achieves. He's one of the very best in the world, and continues to stay fair and humble. Congratulations 3x champion, you have earned every bit of it! Super proud to share a race track with you!
