dear dragonkin, there is a dragon game on robolox i think y'all will like. you can fully costomize your dragonself btw. including your breathing of fire, wingtype, size, name, pretty much all of it. there's also many biomes and a day+night cycle. the map is pretty big and the flying mechanics are amazing.

So for the fashion I tried to include stuff that was modern/casual that you could wear without drawing too much attention to yourself. I also included some more obviously fantasy-styled clothing if that's your vibe too! I hope these inspire you. I think the puffy legged pants (aka "pirate pants" really give off the vibe and you could incorporate that into a lot of modern outfits!

If you love cooking I have to recommend any sort of fantasy/medieval cookbook. They're FILLED with cozy recipes that might scratch that itch for you. You can find a lot of free scans online but I recommend The Elder Scrolls Official Cookbook, Heroes' Feast (Official D&D cookbook), and Tasting History by Max Miller (this guy also has a YouTube channel by the same name where he uploads free tutorials and recipes!)
As For Selfcare:
Feasts!
I'm not sure about you specifically, but its said that satyrs are known to love the pleasures of the flesh. Feasts! Drinking! Be merry! If you can, take the time to have a meal with friends, family or a loved one and just chat it up and have a good time!
Indulge your senses
Surround yourself with things that appeal to your senses. Succulent fruits, vibrant colors in nature, wonderful music, etc.
Ritual Baths
Treat yourself to a bath infused with herbs, flowers and oils. Play some gentle music or ambient nature sounds. Maybe even light some candles!
Seek Adventure
It can be anything from visiting somewhere you've never visited in your local area, to taking a day off to take a hike! Nature spirits thrive on excitement and exploration
Feed your mind
Storytelling and learning. Dive into podcasts, books and mythology and expand your knowledge. Revel in the magic of storytelling!

Dear otherkin:
Do not neglect hygiene or basic self care even if you dislike having a human form! Even if you are depressed! Even if you believe this life is fleeting and that you shall one day return from whence you came!
Because as a questioning Papyrus copinglink, I can tell you that realizing my teeth were mouth bones completely changed my perspective. Yes I was aware of this fact before, but somehow it hits differently sitting in the dentist's office, having someone scrape gunk off of your teeth. I began to see there are similarities between this form and the one I may have previously taken. My teeth are bones- and I have been neglecting to care for them, simply because it's "easy" to not care for them.
Likewise, teeth were my primary weapon as a harpy. When looked at from that angle, I have let my weapons grow dull and dirty. How can I strike fear into the hearts of my prey and enemies if my teeth are not in their top condition?
This doesn't just apply to my teeth though. My physical fitness is important to me as a Papyrus kin. My nails are like the talons I had as a harpy. There are even chemical similarities to a star in me.
Remember to look for these similarities, remember to notice them. Because I promise you, there is value in even a strange human form.

here's some species affirming motivation to help with taking care of yourself :3
no one likes a pup with greasy fur, go wash it!
you want big sharp fangs right? maybe you should go and brush them!
go take care of those claws silly kitty! give your hands a wash and clip your nails
the smell of wet fox is pretty gross right? go put some deodorant on!
creatures like the outside, you should go on a walk!
matted fur never looks good :( you should probably brush it.
silly creatures like you should have a balanced diet, go hunt for some food! (at the shops or in your kitchen)
if you want some nice shiny scales you should put some moisturizer on and wash your face
even big scary creatures like you still need to stay hydrated! go get some water!
i hope some of these worked for you, even just one. ik sometimes it can be hard to get up and do things to take care of yourself but jsut remember that i care abt you and i always hope your doing ok and if your not i hope it gets better soon. /gen

The point of making this post was to create a self care guide for fox therians that went beyond the obvious stuff we usually see, and could be applied more widely to a lifestyle that can make you feel more connected to your theriotype.
This is on my insta as well but I wanted to cross-post it because it's Good and the tumblr foxkin tag is a wasteland lately hehe. All images gathered from Pexels.

Fairfoxie's Ultimate Care Guide for a Foxy Life
Disclaimer: Much of this guide may only really apply to able-bodied persons. For that I apologise. Also this will probably be red fox centric, but it is open-ended so it should be easy to tailor to other foxes.
Activities
Get to know every inch of your dwelling. See it all the way a fox would - what can you get on top of, under, behind? Sit on tables, on the ground, in corners, in tree branches. Walk beyond paths, take new routes. Release yourself from the standards of chairs and walkways.
Pay attention to small details. You're a curious creature, let yourself snoop in places people would normally overlook (but which you won't get in trouble for). Who knows what you may find!
Appreciate what you can learn just from listening to the ambiance. Bits of conversation, animal calls, machinery, whatever. Rely on your ears if you've got a working pair.
Diet
Poke your nose deep within your cupboards. I don't care exactly what you eat. Foxes are omnivores, they eat what they find. You may find more than you expect if you look in the right place. Just uh, mind expiration dates on perishable items.
Learn some foraging! I can't reccommend enough how great it feels to find your food growing wild. But for goodness sake be smart about it. Identify edibles with 100% certainty before you even THINK about eating it. And steer clear of mushrooms, only an expert can really be sure it's not poison. Start with distinct basics like raspberries and dandelions. Even these you'll want to research first.
Aesthetic
For inspiration, just appreciate what's around you. You're an adaptable creature. Whatever it looks like outside your door, focus on the aspects you like. Maybe take photos of things that catch your eye. It will help you develop a personal aesthetic that you can reflect in your decor, clothing, etc.
Wear what makes YOU feel good. This is obvious but honestly you don't need gear, only wear it if you want it. If you wanna wear stuff to match your coloration, do it. Printed with your foxes on it? Go for it. Completely divergent from any fox theme? Sure! There's a million ways to dress the part.
Proclaim foxes as your favourite animal. No, seriously. I've gotten so much fox stuff from people who have no idea I'm a therian just by saying it's my favourite animal. People need gift ideas and you're going to make yourself easy to shop for. Win-win!

Self Care For A Fallow Deer Doe
Decorate Your Space
Fallow deer live in a wide range of environments! Decorate your space based on your habitat. If you can, get a houseplant of a species native to your environment, or get some decorative faux vines to make your indoor space more like your home! Fallow deer are also Crepuscular, meaning they tend to be more active at dawn and dusk. Use warm lighting in your space to make it mimic sunrise and sunset ( using salt lamps, candles, fairy lights, etc) when you want to relax and focus.
Gardening
If you can, start an edible herb garden! Fallow deer LOVE greens. You can grow things like basil, sage, and chives in a pot indoors by a window or on a balcony. You can also try growing microgreens, which can be harvested and eaten as soon as 5 days after sewing!
Watching The Sun Rise/Set
Since Fallow deer are most active at dawn an dusk, make it a ritual to watch the sunset and/or sunrise as often as you can. Bonus if you can find a quiet and serene space outside to do this and really connect with your kintype
Connecting With Nature
When/if you can. Take time to wander through the woods or a park, feeling the crunch of fallen leaves beneath your hooves feet. Let the gentle breeze ruffle your fur hair as you breathe in the earthy scent of the forest. I find doing stuff like this really grounding and great for my mental health
Creative Expression
Find a creative way to express your therian side. Draw or paint pictures of your habitat, dabble in creative writing about your kintype/home, embroidery trees and flowers on your clothes, write music that reflects what your kintype means to you!

Hey! Slow down!
I know life can be a lot. So, remember, your health is a priority: no amount of school or testing will reverse that fact. So let's take a moment together so we can talk. (p.s! At the end of you follow along with me you'll get to see a picture of my cat!)
- When was the last time you got some sunlight? If it's been a minute, and you're in a place you can, step outside for a break. If you can't, open up a curtain or window.
- When was the last time you drank some water? No matter when that was, grab a glass!
- And hey, if you're having the dishes pile up in your room you can grab those too and bring them over to the sink on your way.
- Do you have any medication you need that you haven't taken yet? If so, go grab it!
- When was the last time you washed your face, or maybe used some lotion? It tends to help me feel a bit better, maybe you could give it a shot!
- How about a shower? If it's been a long time, you could benefit from one, and if that takes to much energy sometimes just putting on some deodorant, changing your clothes and wiping down your body with a wash cloth can help.
- And this might not go for everyone but I recharge by having a clean space, so I like to pick up the things scattered on my floor (like clothes for example, put them away, and then make my bed with all my favorite stuffies on it.
Finished it all? Here’s the reward below the cut! And keep in mind — doing the above was also a reward in itself, cherish yourself; you deserve it.

ive never really been able to grasp “self maintenance” outside of showering, skincare, exercise, and body hair
especially when it comes to hair, makeup, and clothing. i guess i just cant process the “requirement” of things like styling your hair, dressing nicely, etc etc
to me its like: why should i have to do those things? cant i just do what is comfortable and natural for me?
unsure if its fatigue, neurodivergence, or maybe even therian related but i cant seem to grasp the concept of putting effort into looking more attractive.
