Sunset Ocean Pride Flag

I had this idea to make a flag for people who are gay for both men and women, without it being tied to a specific label. Whether you identify as bi, pan, omni, queer, gay, sapphillean, velaurian, unlabeled, or whatever the case may be, you can use this flag if you are gay for both men and women. Personally, I am gay in all directions and identify as bi, omni, queer, and gay.

The flag incorporates themes from both the sunset lesbian flag and the ocean gay flag, hence it being based on a sunset over an ocean. It visually symbolizes the unity of both gay attraction to women, and gay attraction to men. (Not necessarily exclusively! People who experience attraction to nonbinary people are also included, as are people whose attraction is not strictly gay. I'm attracted to all nonbinary genders, and my attraction to women and primarily woman-aligned people is partially straight.)

The top three stripes represent the "sunset" portion of the flag, and have meanings inspired by the lesbian flag.

Grape represents gay attraction to women. You may also describe this as lesbian attraction, sapphic attraction, trixic attraction, or whatever else you may prefer, as long as it essentially feels gay.

Rose represents independence, serenity, and peace. These were three major themes in the sunset lesbian flag which were not shared with the ocean gay flag.

Coral represents diversity, community, and love. These were themes present in both the sunset lesbian and ocean gay flags, which is part of why this portion of the sunset also represents marine life. The sky blue stripe in the ocean section shares this meaning.

The center white stripe represents gender nonconformity, transgender/genderqueer people, intersex people, and unique relationships to gender and sex. These were themes present in both the sunset and ocean flags, and are also common meanings for center white stripes in queer flags.

The bottom three stripes represent the "ocean" portion of the flag, and have meanings inspired by the ocean gay flag.

Sky blue represents diversity, community, and love, as the coral stripe does. This portion of the ocean also represents the sky.

Lapis represents joy, healing, and fortitude. These were three major themes in the ocean gay flag which were not shared with the sunset lesbian flag.

Dark indigo represents gay attraction to men. You may also describe this as vincian attraction, achillean attraction, toric attraction, or whatever else you may prefer, as long as it essentially feels gay.

I'm sorry this is only tangentially on theme but I see this sentiment in the contradictory label community sometimes and I just feel the need to say this

ACAB does NOT include the "identity police."

Yes, people trying to tell you how you can or can't identify sucks. In that sense they are bastards. And sometimes the things they say are recycled rhetoric from oppresive groups against the queer community.

But they are not in any way equivalent to the police. The cops are a force that primarily serves to enforce the rules of the state with violence, and preserve a status quo that is systemically violent against marginalized groups, most significantly Black and Hispanic people. The police kill countless people unjustly, keep only some of the population "safe" in order to save face for themselves, and expel members who are willing to speak up for what's right. Getting told on the internet that you can't be an omni lesbian because "that's not how it works, lesbian is non-men loving non-men and you're being lesbophobic" isn't comparable. I'm sorry but it's just not.

"ACAB includes the identity police" just says to me "I only believe in ACAB because other leftists around me do, I didn't bother to actually look at any research about police brutality or why the ACAB movement exists, and I have only ever faced annoyances from police myself if anything." Please don't just believe things because the people around you do. Don't put ACAB in your bio because your mutuals did. Actually look into stuff before you believe it, so you can understand what you believe properly. Because I swear most of you would not say "ACAB includes the identity police" if you'd really been looking into stuff and just how abhorrent the police can be. You would not be making that comparison.

It also feels very white... Since white people aren't targets of racial profiling by the police, they might not really grasp how incomparable these are. If you're not homeless, not disabled, and haven't committed any crimes, most white people won't have any real bad experiences with the police. They might experience an inconvenience like a ticket, but it's rare that white people who aren't part of another frequently targeted group, who haven't done anything, will have a truly bad experience with the police, and that might make some of y'all not see why equating the identity police with actual cops is out of touch. I'm obviously not saying everyone who's ever said this is white, but I feel like it's more often a white person than it is a non white person.

Hi, I think your clone fic writers/artist lists are a great idea! I'm just wondering though, what counts to you as a clone themed writer? because I have a couple I'd love to suggest to be added but they aren't clone-only themes blogs, they just write a lot of clone-centered fics, so I'm wondering where the line is drawn? Also, do they have to be writers who post their fics in full on tumblr or is it okay if they link to sites like ao3?

*Clone OC's

*Clones showing up SOMEWHERE significant in the fic. Not just one clone character who is in and out and the rest is non clone characters

Probably the ONLY exceptions that break the other above rules could possibly be the following (and PLEASE feel free to steal these ideas):

*Characters fighting for Clone Rights in the Senate, battlefield, another planet, etc where no physical clones are present, but their story is front row and center.

*Characters interacting in the story regarding the science or cloning actions of ANY of the Clone centered operations like on Kamino or any other planet, Hemlocks clone experimentation, shadowy cabal or Gov Tarkin planning something regarding the Clones, etc. where no physical clones are present, but their story is front row and center.

*I'm cool with ALL CLONE CONTENT TYPES: action packed, slow burn, mundane, clean, comfort, angsty, sad, heart breaking, tragic, cliff hangers, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, lovey-dovey, soothing, happy, domestic relationships, platonic relationships, hot romantic relationships, smut (off all kinds), aromantic, asexual, non-binary/genderfluid/gay/lesbian/bi/omni characters or targeted readers, baby batch, young cadet batch, etc. Your imagination is the limit!

Mspec Lesbian Week Art Event!

Hello my followers it's mspec lesbian week! I have some art prompts. It was gonna be a challenge for just myself but at the suggestion of a member in a server I'm making it something for everyone who wants to participate to do. Tag with "#reds bilesbian art challenge" to join.

Each day is a prompt for making a character based on a pride flag. There will be 2 for some, since you can choose which flag set you want to do (or do both/a mix)

Day 1, May 22: General Mspec Lesbian - Gardener with bi-lesbian's main mspec lesbian flag OR a moon-themed deity with Kenochoric's lunian flag

Day 2, May 23: Bi Lesbian - Comic-style villain with bi-lesbian's bi lesbian flag OR cowboy/girl/person (or other wild west type character) with Kenochoric's bi lesbian flag

Day 3, May 24: Pan Lesbian - Fire spirit with bi-lesbian's pan lesbian flag OR fairy with Kenochoric's pan lesbian flag

Day 4, May 25: Poly Lesbian - Mermaid with either bi-lesbian's or Kenochoric's poly lesbian flag

Day 5, May 26: Omni Lesbian - Royalty with either bi-lesbian's or Kenochoric's omni lesbian flag

Day 6, May 27: Abro Lesbian - Jungle Warrior with asmoniumx's abro lesbian flag

Ultimate Vocabulary I Use on the Blog List!

Some of these terms are used more than others.

Mspec Lesbian - any lesbian who is attracted to more than one gender. Many, many experiences fall under this. See my explanation list for more details! Mspec lesbians may identify just as an mspec lesbian, or with other specific mspec labels such as bi, pan, poly (the orientation not polyam), omni, abro, neptunic, trixen, etc.

Lunian - Another word for an mspec lesbian

Exclusive Lesbian - A lesbian who is not attracted to men in at least one form of attraction, while attracted to other genders in that same form of attraction. This is not an exclusion*ist* lesbian, nor does it mean one isn't an mspec lesbian. Also called a Sea Lesbian as per my recent coining

Exclus Lesbian - Exclusionist lesbian

Nonexclusive Lesbian - A lesbian who is attracted to men, but still calls themselves a lesbian. Also called a Moon Lesbian as per my recent coining.

Mono lesbian - A lesbian who is only attracted to one gender (which is almost always women)

Exclus: An exclusionist, particularly an mspec lesbian exclusionist since it's a themed blog

Multilesbophobia - Discrimination and hate against mspec lesbians, for being mspec and a lesbian at the same time

Luniaphobia - Synonymous with multilesbophobia, shorter to say but might confuse people unfamiliar with the term "lunian."

New Moon Springtide (lunian, mspec/bi/pan/etc lesbian) - an mspec lesbian who uses the split attraction model. Their romantic orientation is either an mspec identity, or lesbian, and their sexual orientation is the other. For example, a bisexual lesbiromantic or a lesbisexual panromantic.

First Quarter Neaptide (lunian, mspec/bi/pan/etc lesbian) - An mspec lesbian who identifies as such because they are mspec, but their attraction towards women, or those who fall under modern lesbian attraction, is much greater than their attraction to other genders, or than their attraction to men. This can be more frequency or stronger attraction. Such a person may feel they are directly between mspec and a lesbian. For example a bisexual who feels more deeply in love when they're with a woman than with anybody else.

Waxing Gibbous Springtide (lunian, mspec/bi/pan/etc lesbian) - an mspec lesbian who uses the split attraction model, where they are either mspec or a lesbian sexually and/or romantically, but experience strong tertiary attraction of the other. Originally, it was just strong mspec tertiary attraction, but then I remembered it should be both ways. For example, an asexual, panromantic lesbiaesthetic person, or a lesbirose omniplatonic person.

Full Moon Springtide (lunian, mspec/bi/pan/etc lesbian) - An mspec lesbian who identifies as such because they are attracted to more than one gender that fits under modern exclusive usage of lesbian. For example, they're polysexual for women, outherine identities, androgynous identities, and neutral identities, but never solely man-aligned people.

Waning Gibbous Neaptide (lunian, mspec/bi/pan/etc lesbian) - Someone who is sure that they are attracted to women, and may or may not be sure that they're attracted to elsegender people, but is not certain if they are attracted to men or not. This is different from feeling in between mspec and a lesbian, because it is characterized by a distinct uncertainty in your attraction. Is it romantic/sexual or is it tertiary attraction? Is it even real? Is it comphet? Am I imagining it?

Third Quarter Neaptide (lunian, mspec/bi/pan/etc lesbian) - An mspec person who identifies as a lesbian as an act of reclamation of the historical, nonexclusive meaning of the word "lesbian." Because lesbian separatism which changed the meaning was a TERF led movement, many people feel like it's only right to reclaim their place.

Ecliptic (lunian, mspec/bi/pan/etc lesbian) - An mspec lesbian who is also aspec, and their unique aspec experience with attraction was influential or the entire reason they identify with both labels. This includes orchidspec and cupiospec reasons. For example, a cupio-asexual lesbiromantic who isn't attracted to men at all, but would find themselves sex favorable for a person of any gender, or a grayrose person who's only ever been sexually or romantically attracted to women, but feels they could be hypothetically attracted to men, and feels very strong platonic attraction towards men (which they feel more often or more weakly than romantic or sexual attraction.)

Midtide (lunian, mspec/bi/pan/etc lesbian) - an mspec lesbian who has a different, unique experience from these microlabels. I'm not able to account for everyone even if I try to think of more possibilities.

Tidalphasic (lunian, mspec/bi/pan/etc lesbian) - An mspec lesbian who's reason for identifying as an mspec lesbian changes. For example an abrosexual who overall identifies with midtide or with first quarter neaptide, when they're not attracted to men identifies with full moon springtide, and when they are attracted to men identifies as third quarter neaptide.
