The shit show of Republicans in government... are these your best and brightest... the embarrassment. You may have Texas writing the history books but none of you can change the history of this government in real time. These are the people you voted for... To get a paycheck with no improvements to your life and to stall... Incompetent... Look...

Friendly reminder that almost half of the states in the U.S. have same day registration! This means you can go to the polling center for your location, register there, and cast your vote same day. So if you are over 18, are a U.S. citizen, and live in one of the states listed below, it is not too late to register and vote! I’m going to put notes for some of the states where voting is extra important due to the political climate of the state. *Please note that every state has its own rules and requirements for same day registration and voting, some are only for early voting, or have very specific ID requirements. Make sure to research your state specifically before showing up to the polls
California
Colorado
Connecticut
D.C.
Hawaii
Idaho
Illinois
Iowa - recent polls indicate state could flip from red to blue
Maine
Maryland
Michigan - swing state! Could go red or blue!
Minnesota
Montana
Nevada - swing state! Could go red or blue!
New Hampshire
New Mexico
North Carolina - swing state! Could go red or blue - same day registration allowed only for early voting
North Dakota - voter registration not required
Utah
Vermont
Virginia
Washington
Wisconsin - swing state! Could go red or blue
Wyoming
You can go here for more info on voter registration
I also have a huge list of voting resources here

There are now over 15 million empty homes in the US, and 650,000 homeless per the very bias official numbers, or 23 houses per person

Now that Eurovision is over, I want you all, especially the Americans, to take a good hard look at how the voting results turned out when people boycotted the event.
In the UK, the viewing figures were down about 2 million people compared to last year. Up to 2 million people made the conscious decision to not watch and not vote because of Israel's inclusion.
The final results of the public vote, Israel came in first place in the UK and got 12 points. Because the only people watching and voting were people who backed Israel or at least didn’t care one way or another.
This doesn't matter. It's a music contest. The boycott was still the right thing to do because it is just a show at the end of the day, and the viewing figures have more impact than the results.
But it is also a good object lesson to show you what happens if you boycott a vote over something that does matter. Choosing not to vote in, let's say, a presidential election will have similar results.

So you may or may not have heard, Biden is proposing a constitutional amendment that would reverse the Supreme Court’s immunity decision and create term limits for the Supreme Court. A constitutional amendment requires Congress to pass it. If you have thoughts on this and want to encourage your representative to vote a certain way then MAKE YOUR VOICE BE HEARD. CLICK HERE TO FIND AND CONTACT YOUR LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE AND SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS. Until Trump takes it away from us we’re still a democracy so LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!
AND DON’T FORGET: we’re not just voting for president this year, there’s also a ton of Congress seats (both House and Senate) that are up for re-election so if your local representatives are people that wouldn’t vote for this, then VOTE THEM OUT!
Contact them and tell them you won’t vote for them if they don’t support this amendment. Congress is supposed to work for us so MAKE THEM WORK FOR US!

Of the 19 hijackers who carried out the Sept 11 attacks:
15 were from Saudi Arabia (a powerful/oil-rich country the U.S. works hard to maintain diplomatic relations with)
2 were from the United Arab Emirates (also a powerful/oil-rich country the U.S. works hard to maintain diplomatic relations with)
1 was from Egypt, 1 from Lebanon.
None of the hijackers were from Iraq.
None of the Sept 11 hijackers were Iraqi.
None of the 9/11 hijackers were from Iraq.
