Asta's siblings and the MC

"It seems like you can't escape the most boring social events of the season either, don't you?" Hartwin flashed a crooked smile at the MC who was approaching him and his siblings.

"I can play late into the night if I come and behave, Uncle Hartwin," the MC said in a confidential tone, looking around.

"Ha! Are they throwing this one at you too?" Rigan laughed loudly ignoring the stares he received, he patted the MC's head. "Say the word and I'll get you out of here"

"Don't be silly, Rigan" Silvina intruded pulling the MC into the middle of the circle they formed. "The MC has to attend this type of event to stand out among the other realms and already start making alliances"

"They're seven, sister" Rigan reminded her, mocking, as he pulled the MC to his side. "Their only Duty is to run around and steal sweets"

"Steal sweets for their queen-aunt" Mairenn approached the conversation keeping her hand on her already visible belly "You'll do that won't you? Go get some sweets for your future cousin"

"You can't ask them that!" Objected Silvina "They have to make alliances not be your servant"

"That's an alliance" Mairenn smiled at the MC "I will make your cousin, the future monarch, swear allegiance to you, MC. Now, help your aunt

"You all are unbelievable!" Asta interrupted looking disapprovingly at her siblings as she reached over to take the MC's hand. "You are all nobles of the court! Hartwin, Mairenn, you sit on the throne of the neighboring kingdoms, have more decorum!"

"I'm just the king consort, Queen Asta. I don't need to have so much decorum" Hartwin winked at the MC. "And Mairenn was never very diplomatic"

"Excuse me?"

"I hope you're not behaving like troll puppies in front of our most important allies" Aedh's voice echoed through his children who fell silent immediately, across the room, Aedh stared at them without blinking.

"You're in trouble," the MC laughed looking at their family. They had also heard Aedh's voice "More than I do"

Irusya and the MC

"Why did it take so long for you to notify me of their birth?" Irusya approached her son ignoring the guards and servants who watched her tensely. She used the language of vampires. "You're not planning on keeping me out, are you?"

Carmello ignored his mother's accusatory tone and held the MC more firmly in his arms.

"It's been hectic times we've had here, Mother," he replied neutrally, "Taking care of a kingdom and also taking care of a baby and keeping my enemies away have occupied me quite a bit"

"And still miss the chance to annihilate the elves once and for all," Irusya added without getting carried away by her son's words. "Let's cut this conversation that isn't going anywhere, let me hold them."

Carmello had a moment of almost imperceptible hesitation before handing the MC over to Irusya.

She looked directly into the MC's eyes, noting every detail of their face and bright eyes.

She smiled with satisfaction and pride, one of her hands caressing the MC's face gently.

"I have so many expectations for you" she said only to the baby but Carmello's sigh was enough for her to know he had heard it too. "You're going to be the best of us. I'll make sure of that"

The MC smiled, still toothless, and she felt a small spark ignite in her heart again.

And Hal hasn't even learned about his crime fighting cousin, batwing, Oracle, bluebird, Spoiler, and of course Jarro.

Note: everyone knows Supes is a father, he's the dad to talk your ear off about it but he's too nice with too much country charm for anyone to say anything about it. WW and Martian Manhunter are the only ones who listen absolutely intently.

Would Anakin and Padme ask Anakin’ Siblings the daughter and the son of the morris gods to babysit Luke and Leia when the parents want a date night and how would the Jedi react to seeing the avatars of both light and dark babysitting the twins?

i feel like at some point it would end up being the twins babysitting the mortis gods (which is even more confusing for any Jedi)

One trop I can’t get enough of is Bart being Wally and Dick’s kid from the future. There arnt enough fics for this trope! Should I write some? Probably, but I don’t have the creative juices to write it.

But like I want Wally and Dick to find out Bart is their kid in the most absolute random way possible

Game night: Bart doesn’t think before calling Wally dad after doing something that Bart always saw durning family game nights but he doesn’t notice

Going to get ice cream: “dad you know I always get [insert ice cream flavors here that’s like ten scoops tall with an ungodly amount of toppings and sauces]” leaving Dick confused and just getting what he would normally get Wally. This is how Bart finds out his go to ice cream use to be Wally’s go to

Gotham patrol/ party: Batman notices that impulse move a little bit to much like a bat to be a coincidence. Nightwing is off in his own little bubble so doesn’t notice, Red Robin for some reason just never questions why Impulse would call him and superboy his uncles. (Let face it Tim was running on -4 hours of sleep when Bart called him uncles) and it’s not until years later when there was like a really big holiday party with all of the justice league, titans, and other hero teams and Bart just brings presents labeled for Dad, for Pa, and other family titles instead of anyone’s actual names and that’s how they find out while Bart was under the assumption that they already knew, it’s not like he was hiding it!

Bat dad meet Ghost dad

Several years earlier....

"JAAAAAAZZZZZZZZ!" Danny flew excited through the Ghost Zone with a little kid in his arms rushing past some of his former rogues as he made a B-Line for his sister that happened to be in the Zone too, currently in a deep conversation with Frostbite about something Danny hadn't cared to pay attention to long enough. But right now he had exciting news he really wanted to share with his sister. Even now as adults Danny tented to live out his childishness whenever he could especially when he and his family went into the Ghost Zone.

The Halfa came to a screeching halt as he grined brightly at his sister who looked back at him with a raised eyebrow, slightly amused at her younger brothers giddiness. "What is it Danny?"

"I got a son now!" Danny declared happily holding up a young ghost teen by the armpits into his sisters face.

The 'son' in Danny's hands stared at Jazz blinking owlishly as if the teen boy still needed a moment to catch up with what was going on and Jazz blinked back at the ghost and then at Danny. That was not a child but a teen ghost. Going by the size the kid was probably around 14 or 15 and he looked very much traumatised and Jazz could not tell if that was because of Danny or because of how the teen possible died.

"Danny what did you-" Her brother did not let her finish her question as he started rambling excitedly.

"He is a baby ghost Jazz! Look how young he is! I found him floating around aimlessly, his hunt hasn't even fully formed yet and when i picked him up there was that instant connection! You know the same-"

"Danny."

"I have with Clockwork and Pandora! I instantly knew he was mine! Mine to protect! Mine to guide! When I saw him I swear I just knew, I ghost adopted him the moment I made contact! He is family Jazz-"

"Danny."

"I just know he belongs with us! Look at him and tell me he doesn't have Fenton charms! I am sure Dan and Dani will love him too! He is such a cute little ghost! There is so much I can teach him! I will be the best dad ever to this wonderful little baby ghost! And-"

"Daniel William James Fenton!"

Danny bite his tongue instantly silenced when Jazz pulled out the full name call. Both him and the teen in his arms stared at her a bit shell shocked and in that moment Jazz couldn't help but hide a small amused smile at how similar Danny and the teen in his arms looked when they stared at her.

"Did you explain any of this to him?" She indicated to the teen, who's name she by the way still didn't know. Danny at least had the curtesy to look a little ashamed as Jazz pointed that out and let go of the teen so they could float on their own. She sighed with a fond smile before looking at the teen that looked a bit unsure between her and Danny now.

"What's your name?" She asked them with a friendly and encouraging smile.

"Jason...."

Current time...

Jason was in a little bit of a predicament. Originally he really thought he never would end up in this kind of situation espacially since he didn't think he would patch up things with Bruce any time soon. But we'll here he was...

Life liked proofing him wrong.

Like with he fact that Jason could use a ghost wail in dire situation. And that something like that would naturally call his ghost dad onto the scene since he collapsed after it.

And like with how he woke up in the bat caves med bay with both Danny and Bruce standing over him and glaring at each other. Or at least he thought they were glaring at each other that looked like a pretty annoyed stare in his eyes from Danny and Bruce's jaw was really tense from what was visible and not covered by his cowl.

So all Jason could do was endure at the moment. Aaaaand refuse to make eye contact with any of his present siblings. Mainly Dick because he wasn't sure how to interpret the others' smiles. For a moment Jason wondered if he could hide out in his ghost-dad's castle in the Ghost Zone for a while until whatever storm was brewing with Bruce was over.

There was also a moment in which Jason wondered if there could have been anything done to avoid this... confrontation(?). Before feeling the need to face palm because his Aunt that sort of has been giving him free therapy told him repeatedly that communication was key. He never regretted not listening to her more than he was right now.

To be fair. Communication with Bruce espacially hadn't been his strong suit for a while now before and after his death.

"So you are his Bat-Dad?" Jason did not like the way Danny, his ghost dad was using the word 'dad' right now. Oh good was he trying to challenge Bruce?

"And you are his Ghost-Dad?" Bruce grunted, oh now Jason was sure Bruce was giving Danny a glare, and Danny was getting that protective look in his eyes Jason was all to familiar with from his time as a dead baby ghost.

He groaned loudly sinking lower onto the medbed. Why did these things always have to happen to him? At least he was lucky that his Ghost Aunt and Uncle didn't show up too.

So. Danny has discovered he might erm, might be technically a necromancer. At least as far as magic is concerned. Like even if it’s just via resurrecting himself the magic side of things (god, he’s more scientist- sided dangit) count it as such. 

Which means that half the time someone tries to summon a necromancing-esque being, he’s the one who gets tugged if he’s even a centimeter within range. It was annoying enough in high school, it’s no less annoying in this world they’ve all moved to. 

On the bright side, thanks to also being half dead himself, the summonings and other rituals can’t actually drag him somewhere. It just causes him to feel like someone was crushing a lung or two, which honestly nothing new. (Gosh were those days of vigilante work really that violent? Huh, guess they were)

What he wasn’t expecting was for a tiny child, a living child, to track him down despite him not existing legally or anything similar in this world, to revive their previous local child vigilante. Which like, hey, first of all, he has a few questions? Just a couple and yeah sure, he’ll shake on it- can he have your name first there kid…? 

Tim, on the other hand, is getting a little concerned when he realizes a lot of the questions the probable-fae keeps asking are in line with the stuff CPS asks. (Unknown to him, that is exactly where Danny is getting several of his questions about this scrawny vigilante kid. Erm. He might have to take the kid, for like, his own safety- hey Frostbite he needs your help he has some questions-)

The ask with Asta calling the MC a monster has me curious what line would the MC have to cross for their family members to start thinking of them as a monster? Because while they might not view us as a monster for what we are I assume they each have a line for what they could tolerate and I’m curious what that line is for each of them assuming it’s not the same for all of them.

I can't think of anything that would make Rigan consider the MC a monster, (at least not on a level that would make him worried or make him walk away from them) the same goes for the first vampire

Brandr: All categories below

Aedh, Asta, Philon, Hartwin and Briallen would not be able to accept a bloodthirsty and unfair MC. An MC like: "Kill everyone and don't leave any alive. It doesn't matter if children or the elderly or if they participated in a certain act or not"

Carmello, Irusya, Hagne and Silvina would have more trouble with a traitorous MC. A MC who would act against the kingdom, the people and their family. That they wouldn't mind harming them to get something.

A cruel MC who tortured the people and committed acts of violence and hatred would make Mairenn and Theron consider them a complete monster.
