Here are some Owl House coven memes I filled in on my DeviantArt account, and decided to share them on Tumblr as well.
I made the meme template for the Multi-Track, while the one that Goldi is featured in was done by Kusuri-Shibata.

One of my pet peeves is Luz's hexide uniform, because there's 2 extra colors in the uniform that don't have any coven association, while there's 3 coven colors missing. So I tried remaking Luz's uniform to fit in as many colors as possible.
It doesn't look as nice or color coded (which is why I changed abomination's location) but I tried 😭

What's yout opinion on these two Owl House analysis posts (sending them in another ask)
Thank you for the links. Just for future reference though, that blog blocked me awhile back for reasons I can only guess at so I had to find another way to read the posts.
My biggest issue with these kinds of analyses is how it really has to ignore how toh executes its themes and rely on historical and political realities and awkwardly tie it to the show.
Belos may be a metaphor for colonization and oppression but good luck finding anything consistent in the show to actually demonstrate that. Belos may have been inspired by fundamentalists conservatives and he may speak like one, but on a societal level, the Boiling Isles is not a good representation of a world run by a religious zealot.
There are no wild witches that are routinely persecuted; Eda is able to walk around openly (save for one episode) with no fear of being arrested, Luz is able to multi-track despite Bump's initial misgivings about the EC potentially withdrawing funding from the school (something that never happens) no one actually treats the Titan like a divine entity despite Belos' reign being founded on that very premise, and the citizens are allowed to openly defy the emperor's potential execution of Eda--despite being the living embodiment of everything the people of the Boiling Isles are taught to fear.
There is one rule in the isles: no wild magic.
Outside of that, witches are free to live as they wish. Joining a coven is seen more like choosing a career path and not something one must do or risk ostracization. Eda doesn't suffer because she's a wild witch. Not really. The narrative focuses more on her curse and how she isolated herself because of that and had to turn to crime to make ends' meet.
Because of this, it's difficult to really discuss Belos as a metaphor for colonization when the islands don't suffer or at least the show doesn't demonstrate why joining a coven is bad outside it being a requirement. So really the theme is freedom of choice rather than "the oppressed must overthrow the oppressor."
It's Belos' status as a Puritan that's doing the heavy-lifting in any kind of post that makes the claim that toh is about colonization. Which is why so many of these posts fall back on meta-analysis and tossing in historical references rather than what actually happens in the show.
As for Luz being an immigrant to the Boiling Isles....I mean I guess? The problem is that Luz never learns to appreciate the BI on its own terms because everything is handed to her; the issue of humans not being able to eat the BI's food is dropped early and the only threats she faces are scammers. A better depiction of a girl-going-to-a-fantasy world-as-an-immigrant metaphor is Amphibia, in which Anne learns the culture and customs of Wartwood and even earns the title of Frog of the Year because of her progress and growth. We never get anything like that with Luz because Bonesborough doesn't have a distinct identity like Wartwood does. We don't get to know recurring side characters outside of Luz's clique at Hexside. Luz doesn't even work as an immigrant in Gravesfield because her problem isn't framed due to her heritage, the focus is on her overenthusiasm for Azura. Camila doesn't struggle fitting in because she's Dominican (and no, letting her hair get curly again is weak because it's literally the only example of her possibly changing herself to fit in). Her struggle is tied to her daughter and the grief they share over Manny's passing. So there's no evidence of the Nocedas having to "submit" to the dominant culture of Gravesfield because we don't know what Gravesfield's culture is. There's no oppression and Vee gets along fine despite coming from another dimension.
Finally, as for Luz's angst over being like Belos--that her anger makes her like him. Yeah no, this is weak. First of all, this is the first time that she expresses concern over being like him due to her anger. In the previous two episodes, the concern was that she "helped" Belos find the Collector and is therefore responsible for his rise and the subsequent centuries of suffering. Then, she's worried about always making mistakes and how that leads to more people being hurt. Next, in her nightmare sequence, she fears her friends secretly hate her because she helped Belos and is the cause of all this suffering so she might as well be him.
But now, her fear is being like him because she wanted the Collector to blast him and that Belos' desire to save humanity is uncomfortably close to her own.
Sorry what?
Luz previously rejected Belos's stated goal of saving humanity in King's Tide when she called him out on his hypocrisy. At every encounter, Luz calls Belos out on his bullshit, why is it now does she seriously consider that his goals are similar to her own?
Oh, so the Titan can alleviate her fears, validate her by calling her a "good witch," and throw out all the recent development of Belos' character and motivations because don't worry, he's not genuine. He's just a Symbol so we can ignore the hints of his backstory making him a more complicated character. (And believe me, Belos' story is just vague enough that you could interpret him in any number of ways).
To conclude, I've noticed a trend in fan posts that develop a conclusion and work backwards from there, taking what they want from the show that fits to support their idea and ignore everything else. It's terrible analysis even if some good points are made.

OMG HAI so glad you askeddd I have like. Everything planned out for this au
‼️Huge spoilers for persona 5 base game hehe
I mentioned this in the tags in my first post but in my head the persona characters are functionally the owl house characters but I still want them to have their backstories and stuff and like i tweek the oh characters just a bit cos there are so many phantom thieves lol. so think of it as like a swap au but not really ok
Sojiro-> Eda
Sae-> Lilith
Futaba-> King
Ren/Akira-> Luz
Ryuji-> Gus
Ann-> Willow
Makoto-> amity
Akechi-> amity/hunter
Shido-> belos
For yusuke Haru and morgana Im just straight up using their p5 backstories
Yusuke is a student at st. Epiderm and he’s in the illusion track (cos one it’s blue and two he can use it for creative stuff I believe in him) he’s still under the tutelage of maderame and he still steals yusukes and all of his students hard work and ren/akira and the gang (Ann, ryuji) have to take yusuke into maderame’s brain à la understanding willow and show him maderame’s true nature and he confronts maderame in his brain and kinda “changes his heart” huge air quotes
Haru is the daughter of potion coven head kunikazu okumura and she is very skilled in plant magic, but to uphold her fathers legacy she is put in the potions track (like willow omg) her father is kidnapped shortly before the day of unity, blame for his murder being put on the “phantom thieves” after he is found dead in a prison cell
Morgana is. In this one. An actual monster cat, he’s like the bipedal monsters in the show and he finds ren/akira not too long from when he falls into this world and “takes him under his wing” he’s in the baby class at hexide and uses his new ride to scare the other kids into doing things for him this is how ren/akira finds himself in hexide and finds the school endearing (he’s only seen the baby class)
Makoto is less of amity in the way that they’re rivals to lovers (unless you want that im open to it) but more of Makoto is the star student and a very skilled witch and ren and co are wreaking havoc all around campus
Their tracks
Ren- multi tracks (excels in oracle magic though)(Arsene is a ghost he’s besties w)
Morgana- baby track he hasn’t decided yet
Ryuji- originally in the potions track but got lippy with the grudgby coach and got switched to the detention track
Ann- abomination
Yusuke- illusion
Makoto- healing
Futaba- oracle (because it’s funny)
Haru- plant (originally in potions)
Akechi- emperors coven/ multi track in his school (favoritism 🙄) also peep the parallels to ren/akira
I imagine sojiro is in a coffee lovers coven or something that’d be really funny
Anyway yeah I’m prolly gonna draw more soon but hehehehehehe

2 days left until the end of the Owl House
really wish we got to spend more time with the Blight twins (more specifically Emira and her maybe crushing hard on that former detention track girl who is also in Emira’s Healing track class after she multi-tracked and perhaps Viney offers to tutor Em to help her catch up with the rest of the class and romance blooms from there). They seemed like interesting characters and when u consider their parents, it makes since what they did to Amity in the library ep and then later after realizing Amity just got her first crush they both go into protective sibling mode.

Tell a friend to tell a friend- She’s BAAACK!!
Tumblr media
This is an Owl House/Steven Universe AU, specifically an ‘SU in TOH’ variant!
Tumblr media
Casual Kiddos + Season 1 Adults
So in Season 1, a human named Steven wanders into the dimension of Homeworld. He is quickly accepted into the fold of The Crystal House, a home for three outlaws Witches who came together- Garnet, the daughter of a Wild Witch (Ruby) and an upstanding Demon (Sapphire), Pearl, a former Guard for the Covens before defecting, and Amethyst, a cursed Witch.
Steven and Amethyst start in the Detention Track…
Tumblr media
But quickly chose to Multi-Track. Amethyst studies Beastkeeping, Construction, Illusions and Abominations. Meanwhile, Steven starts out studying Healing and Plants, but expands to Beastkeeping, Oracle, and Illusions to learn the type of magic that the other Gems learned (Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl in that order)
Tumblr media
Season 2 happens then (featuring the new uniforms) and the Crystal Gems have to deal with the three Main Heads- Blue, the Healing Head, Yellow, the Abominations Head, and White, the Empress’s Head. What they learn as the season continues is that, actually, they (and Pink, who was the Plant Coven Head before she ‘died’) are witch hunters. Pink was a born a Witch in the Human Realm, and so her sisters gave up their witch hunting ways to find someplace Pink could be safe… or so they thought. Really, White never gave up being a Hunter, and was just looking for a way to get rid of every witch at once.
What Steven learns at the end of Season 2 is that, first off, he’s a Grimwalker. White made him as a copy of Pink and wanted to use him to test various murder methods on witches, but Pink found out and fled, faking her death. She cut her and Steven’s ears to keep them safe in the Human Realm, but she botched the job a bit. Pink took on the name Rose, fell in love with and married a human named Greg Universe, and died in childbirth with her daughter Nora (who also passed).
Steven does… not take this well.
Tumblr media
And spends like half of Season 3 downright miserable.
But yeah that’s the main summary of the AU! Some additional Notes:
Yellow is the Abominations Head because she created the Cluster.
Peridot takes over as Plant Head after Pink (because Peri’s a farmer). The Other Coven Heads are Nephrite for Beastkeeping (because she was a beast), Lapis for Oracle (because she was trapped in a mirror and I can warp that into a crystal ball), Jasper for Construction (all quartz are Construction, it’s why Amethyst has it), Fable for Illusions (Because obviously), Aquamarine for Potions (idk, she has a wand?? So I guess Potions is the witchiest Coven??) and Pyrope for Bard (I have no clue why)
Bismuth is Raine, because obviously.
Pearl has an Illusions sigil, so that obviously causes problems.

I have been consumed by Owl House brainrot is anyone really surprised by this post
Anyway, I imagine they're both multi-tracking in Bard and Illusion magic, but secretly want to be wild witches — like Captain Underpants, whom they based off of human comic books

Calamity Luz
Tumblr media
I just finished watching Owl House and Amphibia, I like crossovers, I liked Owl House more, so Luz with Calamity Powers.
I wanted to make it as if she got the full gem power instead of just the hair.
The first difficult thing was deciding on which style to lean more towards. Amphibia's Calamity trio had more of a warrior theme with armor, but Luz is a Witch/Mage, so I lessened the armor a bit, or just made it less bulky. I took some design elements from other outfits/forms of Luz such as the cape Eda made her, her Hexside Multi-track uniform (I am afraid that this kind of makes it too colorful but I just embraced it), and her Titan form. The head crest is supposed to reference Owlbert and King with the Owl like beak/trim around the face and King from the horns. I also thought the purples would work well with a bisexual flag section so I put that on the side flaps
Around her are just some ideas for ways she would use this Calamity Power similar to the constructs Anne, Sasha, and Marcy used in their battle against the Core.

Stepping Stones: Chapter 1
So this is my first ever multi-chapter fic!! I was so inspired by Watching and Dreaming that I knew I had to write something that would bridge the gap between the battle and the timeskip-- and here we are. We begin immediately where we left off, but ensuing chapters (I have fourteen planned but we’ll see how it goes) will span across the ensuing three years.
After two months of hearing only King and Lily’s voices, the clamor in the Owl House is the greatest gift Eda could have asked for. After two months of seeing Raine only inanimate and plasticine, the sound of them breathing next to her is the most beautiful piece they’ve ever composed. After watching Luz disintegrate into specks of light right before her eyes, the sight of her watching the horizon is something Eda could look at forever.
Luz lets out a scream, and Eda sits up— only to see Luz break into a run and hug the Golden Guard, of all people, toppling both of them over with the force of her embrace. Willow and Gus run for them too, all of them falling to the ground in a heap of tears and laughter. Eda’s smile widens.
The door to the Owl House opens, and two heads of matching green hair appear in the threshold. The Blight sister helps her brother— who’s encased in a full-body cast— waddle forward into the embrace of Alador and Amity while Darius looks on from the doorway, rolling his eyes— good-naturedly, Eda knows.
It’s a long moment before Alador looks up from his children and meets Darius’s eyes. “Thank you,” he says. “For bringing them here.”
“I’m sure you all would have found each other eventually,” Darius says, waving a hand— but Eda catches Raine’s eye and sees her thought reflected in their eyes that Darius isn’t quite as aloof as he lets on.
Another gasp makes Eda startle again— it’ll be a while, she thinks before that instinct leaves her— and a blur of motion lunges for the door as Steve bolts out of it and tackles, of all people, the scrappy little kid who almost got Luz kicked out of Hexside. Luz, Willow, and Gus all look from each other to the two boys, their jaws dropping in unison.
“You two know each other?” Luz demands.
“Matt didn’t tell you?” Steve puts the other boy down and turns to her. “He’s my baby brother!”
“I’m not that much younger than you,” the boy— Matt— crabs.
“You act like it,” Gus notes. Steve gives him a fist bump.
“Wow. It’s good to see you too, Gus,” Matt says, whacking his arm. Gus punches him back, the jabs quickly turning playful instead of antagonistic. Eda relaxes back into the embrace of her nest.
“The sun’s going down,” Raine notes.
Eda follows their gaze out the window, past the reunion on the ground and to the orange sky beyond it. They’re right— somehow an entire day has passed as everyone has come to the house to regroup.
“We’re going to have to figure out where everyone’s going to sleep,” Raine continues. “Being a puppet wasn’t exactly restful, and I’m sure the kids haven’t had an easy time either.”
The image, vivid and awful, unfolds in Eda’s mind in full color. Watching Raine walk out the door, to places and dangers unknown, without even talking to them— it sends the biggest jolt of panic through her yet, so strong that she blurts, all in a rush, “Idon’twantustobeseparate!”
Immediately her face heats, but when Raine turns to look at her, she knows they understood all of what she meant.
Now isn’t the time. The Isles were almost destroyed, and the room is full of people who need guidance and plans, and both of them are exhausted and scarred and covered in the gooey remains of a dead emperor.
Now isn’t the time. She’s lost track of how many times she’s thought that since Raine came back into her life. And where has it gotten her? Watching them turn away from her, unable to admit to remembering her. Watching them lead a rebellion with no regard for their own safety. Watching them as a puppet, lifeless and controlled. Watching, watching, watching, with all the things she’s needed to say for so long trapped inside.
She can’t meet Raine’s eyes, and her gaze finds Amity, who watches Luz out the window with a small, completely besotted smile on her lips.
It won’t be perfect, she remembers telling Luz, but hey, does it really need to be?
She looks at Raine again.
“Don’t want us to be separate,” she says more clearly, twisting her hands in her lap. “I know I was the one who broke us apart. I know I was the one who pushed you away. And you have every right to say I made my choice, and leave it there, but I swear— I’m different now. I’ve almost lost you too many times to push you away again, and I’m done trying to push away the curse by pushing away everyone around me—“
Raine puts a finger over her lips, cutting her off. “I know,” they say quietly. “The way you talk about the curse is so different. And the way you’ve embraced it— well, I’ve seen that. And you don’t just embrace the curse. You’re not afraid of letting people close. Your friends, your kids, your… whatever Hooty is. Even me.” They take a deep breath. “I didn’t end things between us because I didn’t love you, Eda. I ended things because I knew you needed to learn to love yourself before you’d be ready to accept love from anyone else. And you do now. You’re ready. Well— I don’t want to tell you what you are and what you aren’t, but you look ready to me, or— I’m ready.” They let out a long breath. “How about that?”
The warmth in Eda’s face has moved to her chest, which is suddenly exploding with more hope than she’s had since she can remember, more hope than she ever thought she’d be able to hold. It finds its place in her still hands, in her steady breaths, in her lips as they curve upwards as she leans towards them.
“I’m ready,” she promises, but she lets them make the first move.
And they do, pressing her lips to hers, and she can’t help the tears that fall from her eyes as she closes them, as the last piece of everything she’s ever wanted falls into place—
“King! Luz! Come quick!"
Hooty’s shriek breaks her reverie and she and Raine both jerk back as Luz comes running into the house. She looks between Eda and Raine, eyes shining, a grin spreading across her face— and then she lets out a piercing squeal.
“Dang, kid,” Eda says, feeling her ear for damage. “We sure you got all the Titan out of you?”
“We’ll make a fearsome bard out of you yet,” Raine says, and when Eda glances at them, she sees them smiling so widely it must hurt. But as they look at Luz, that smile falters, and they turn their head down, rubbing their neck. “So— you’re okay with this? Even though I didn’t talk to Eda for years, and then almost got her killed with her own magic, and then lied to her about working for the emperor, and then ripped off her arm—“
“You did that?” Luz gasps.
“It was to save me,” Eda says quickly, “during the draining spell. That was the arm that had my sigil, so by ripping it off—“
“The spell didn’t work on you anymore,” Luz finishes. As quickly as that manic glimmer left her eyes, it returns. “Only on the Boiling Isles would ripping off an arm be the height of romance.”
Beside Eda, Raine relaxes. Marginally.
“We still have a lot to catch up on,” King says, and Luz smiles, coming to sit beside him as Camila settles in on her other side.
“All right.” Eda glances at Camila. “Did Luz tell you about the draining spell and the plan we made to stop it?”
Camila nods. “I appreciate you trying to keep her out of harm’s way.”
“She doesn’t make it easy, does she?”
“Absolutely not.”
“That’s why you love me,” Luz says, and Camila and Eda roll their eyes in perfect synchronicity, then exchange a surprised smile. Luz looks between them, beaming. Only she would take this much joy in people having fun at her expense.
“Well,” Eda says, “I guess you can tell things didn’t exactly go the way we hoped. Terra was watching Raine more closely than we’d guessed—“
“Terra?” Camila asks.
“The scary plant lady,” Luz elaborates, and she nods. Raine snorts.
“So she figured out we’d switched places almost immediately,” Eda continues, “and forced Raine to take their place in the spell.”
She and Raine take turns with the story of the mayhem that followed, of the sudden end of the eclipse and the Collector’s reign of terror, of Eda’s curse taking control before she woke up guarded by a puppet Raine in the archives. Raine wants to know when she cut her hair, so she gives a summary of the long, lonely days in her hideout with Lily, before Luz takes over with the story of her own hideaway. The conversation only pauses when she recounts how her friends found a map to a vial of Titan’s blood and stops mid-sentence, glancing at Camila.
“The blood,” she says. “We used it all up getting here. I didn’t even think— how are we going to get back?”
“Hey— you’ve got the brightest minds of the Isles on your side,” Eda says, reaching out to grab her hand. “We’ll find a way to get you a working portal.”
“We do have an endless supply of Titan’s blood now,” King says nonchalantly.
Luz glances at him. “Please don’t say it like that.”
“I meant that you can, like, take it out with a syringe, not a knife—“
Luz covers her ears. “La, la, la, I can’t hear you—“
“Actually,” Amity’s voice says, cutting into their little bubble, “that might not be necessary.”
She gestures to the open door, where Lily is walking outside. Eda opens her mouth to call to her, to ask what’s going on, but Hooty heads her off with a bloodcurdling shriek.
“My door!” He screeches. “What did they do to my door?!”
Eda exchanges a concerned look with Luz and King. All three of them get up, and Camila and Raine trail behind them as they make their way over to the door— which is vastly different from the one they walked into. Gone is the deep brown wood and the unnervingly fleshy hole where Hooty usually sits. Instead, the door is red and white, with a gold star in place of the hole.
Luz glances at Lily. “Do you think… it’s a portal?”
Lily smiles. “Only one way to find out.”
Luz closes the door and takes a deep breath. Reaches for the handle. Hesitates, then pulls it open, to reveal—
The Owl House, just as they left it.
Luz bows her head, stepping back, but her palisman has other ideas. Stringbean unwinds herself from Luz’s shoulder and brushes against the door, and the star begins to glow. Luz inhales sharply.
Eda places a hand over hers, guiding it back towards the handle. “Try it again.”
They pull together— and this time, the door opens to reveal a void of bright light that resolves into a familiar clearing.
“Home,” Luz whispers.
The word sends a sharp pain through Eda’s chest. “Do you want to… do you want to go back?”
Luz’s face falls, and Camila steps forward, worry creasing her own expression. She opens her mouth, but Luz cuts her off.
“No,” she says. “Not yet, anyway. Is… is that okay, Mamá?” She asks, glancing at Camila. “Can we stay here tonight?”
Eda expects Camila’s grimace to deepen, for her to take Luz’s hand and beg her to come away from all this. It’s probably what any reasonable mother would do. But instead, Camila smiles, and it occurs to Eda that maybe Camila Noceda is better than a reasonable mother.
“Are you all right to host us tonight?” She asks Eda.
“Of course!” Eda says, maybe too quickly.
“Then, mija,” Camila says, looking down at Luz with unmistakable pride, “I thought you’d never ask.”

You’re probably right about the academy thing I’ve just been watching The Owl House and drew parallels between the colors and their coven system that might not have been there
It's cool! It's easy to draw parallels between "Magic School" stories, especially considering a critique of Ranger Academy is still that its version of the Magic School isn't very unique.
The major difference is just that The Owl House made it very obvious that the coven system they use is wrong through character arcs (Eda ditching the system entirely, Luz and other students fighting for a multi-track education, Willow starting out in Abomination Coven when she was clearly meant for Plant Coven, etc). I think if we were meant to see Ranger Academy's system as flawed, we'd have similar narratives. Rhianth didn't ditch the school because he thought the system was oppressive, he ditched it because he's traumatized from what happened to Green Dad. There isn't a student character who got assigned one color and wants to be a different one. That sort of thing

Assorted Musings: A Jumbled Collection of Owl House Rewrites
So, I've been thinking of ways to improve The Owl House and the short answer is: make it actually stick to its premise. Show how the Boiling Isles is under the thumb of an oppressive dictator, make Luz an actual outsider in her home world, better explain how Belos came to power, etc.
The following is just a loose assortment of basic premises without rhyme or reason:
On Hexside and Amity-
Hexside and all schools (all buildings really) have a portrait of the Emperor that they say a vow to commit themselves to eradicating wild magic and upholding the Titan's laws. Luz is creeped out to the max by this as it reminds her of North Korea and other dictatorships (in addition to loving Azura, she's also a massive history nerd, to the point of correcting her teachers back home. She doesn't have many friends because she's rather intense about her hyper fixations and can be rather judgy). Hexside is also an exclusive school where a lot of students end up getting into the EC or in the upper echelons of the coven system. They have portraits of all the Hexside alumni who served as coven heads.
Amity is the top student of the school and a firm believer in the Emperor, since her mother is the ceo of Blight Industries and works closely with the Emperor himself. It is guaranteed she will be in the Emperor's Coven. She doesn't actively bully Willow, but does shun her and because of her influence, other kids avoid "half-witch" Willow as well.
On Luz in the Boiling Isles-
Eda is lazy and only took Luz in to help her in her illegal trade and sends her to Hexside so she will at least be out of her hair. She disguises Luz as a witch with undetectable magic (it can only be used in small amounts and only for minor spells). The detention kids don't multi-track as such an idea is sacrilege and it takes Luz to introduce the idea to them. Even then, they're nervous as hell about it. But Luz being Luz, she convinces them that it's not "wild magic" it's just trying out different methods to see if this is the right track. You don't want to upset the Titan by choosing the wrong magic, right?
While she is disguised as a witch in Hexside, she obviously can't use magic, which everyone makes fun of (like Akko in Little Witch Academia). She excells in Potions and Tarot Card Reading, basically anything that doesn't require a bile sac. Everyone calls her a half-witch (a term for a witch with weak or no magical abilities--sometimes witches are born with a malfunctioning bile sac). She makes friends with Willow and Gus, who is still a nerd for all things human related but keeps that secret because human trash is quickly picked up by the coven scouts. Luz steals some of Eda's human junk and explains what they are to Willow and Gus. He's thrilled but also terrified because his new friend is showing him contraband. Willow is suspicious and questions how Luz knows so much. Luz hems and haws for a bit before changing the subject. Hooty is pretty much the same. 10/10 character. King is not a child in this rewrite. His egg was in stasis for a long time and when he hatched he's functionally an adolescent but being in the egg for so long stunted his growth. He's very immature and still thinks he's the King of Demons. He pretends to hate Azura but rereads Luz's book when she's at school. Then Luz stumbles upon his fan fiction. Eda figured out right away that Luz stole her stuff ("but I gave it back, Eda!" "yeah, and I was going to sell it this afternoon but then it mysteriously wasn't in my inventory. You lost me a customer, Luz.") Eda then teaches Luz how to be a better thief and find more human stuff before the EC does.
On Belos-
Under Belos' reign, witches are judged by their strength and power; certain covens have more prestige than others: Abomination and Plant are near the top. Construction and Healing are more in the middle. Bard is at the bottom. Back in the days of the Titan, magic was communal and while, you could specialize in a specific type of magic, it was not regimented and more seen as a preference. All of it came from the Titan and all witches shared their knowledge and gifts equally.
In the days of the Titan, the Titan could speak to people but only through mediums. Although, there were some who argued that the Titan could commune with anyone if you listened and kept yourself spiritually open. Even then, some doubted how the Titan could talk at all if it was dead and perhaps the mediums were just powerful oracle/illusion witches. This led to some factions and divisions over what magic really is in the isles and how it is best used. Over time, fewer witches shared their gifts equally and petty squabbles warped into tribal conflicts. Belos manipulated these tensions by claiming the "elite" mediums spread lies about the Titan's wishes. He claimed that there used to be peace because there was one system and one way of doing things instead of all of this confusion and division. He passed himself off as a humble witch who received a vision from the Titan saying that magic should be unified. But this vision was so powerful that it left his face scarred, hence the mask (although he will show the doubting crowd his face). That only the wisest and most experienced witches could realistically practice all forms of magic while the rest would do the Titan's work in their chosen field. That way, the gifts of the Titan is still being shared among the populace but now with proper guidance. And thus the coven system was born.
Belos uses his curse as proof of being the Prophet of the Titan; when he regenerates an injury without healing magic, everyone is shocked but most importantly, they believe him. He spends his time proselytizing from town to town amassing a following. He calls them his "little birds" and they all wear bird masks as a precursor to the coven scout uniform. When they (rarely) experience violence, Belos whips them up into a frenzy as proof that the "wild witches" are against them. In one incident, Belos and his followers are prevented from preaching in a town. A fight breaks out and one of his followers is killed. Belos declares them a martyr and asks if his followers will sit by and not defend themselves? The crowd--already upset of course--then burns the town to the ground. As the years go by, people notice that Belos doesn't age and doesn't eat or drink, leading more people to believe in his divine message and join him.

The Knights of New Avalon as students in The Owl House!
Close ups and explanations under the cut.
Tumblr media
Steve is a witch and potions student at Hexside though he used to be in construction. His dad works at Glandus but Coach is the construction teacher at Hexside. He also plays Grudgby.
Tumblr media
Krel is a human and is Multi-Tracking Bard and Illusion at Hexside. All the Akoridians are in the illusion track and use glamour stones to hide their ears in public.
Tumblr media
Aja is a human and is in abomination and illusion at Hexside. She also plays Grudgby.
Tumblr media
Toby is half human and is multi-tracking beast keeping and illusion at Hexside. He was born on the BI but still has some human features that he sometimes hides with a glamour stone. He likes to help his Papa with the animals.
Tumblr media
Claire is a witch and multi-tracking bard and healing at Hexside. I had her do healing because, in Changling Families Adventures, she became the team’s field doctor when Barbara isn’t present or available.
Tumblr media
Darci is a witch and Multi-Tracking healing and plant at Hexside. I headcanon that Darci grew up to be a social worker and therapist and thought plants and gardening would go well with that.
Tumblr media
Seamus is a half-wolf demon and is in beast keeping at Hexside. His bio dad was a witch but his mother was a wolf demon. He now lives with his dads, sister, and uncle who are all ogre demons.
Tumblr media
Mary is a witch in the abomination track at Hexside. Abomination is the closest there is to water and she could give Amity a run for her money. I probably should have made her blue streaks abomination…
Tumblr media
Eli is a winged witch demon and multi-tracks bard and plant magic just like his mother would have had she the opportunity. He likes to make plants grow with bard magic. Mary and Toby are his siblings and Krel is his boyfriend.
Tumblr media
Jim is a half demon and is in potions and abominations a Hexside. I combined his human and troll forms from Changling Families. I figured that these tracks would work for him on his way to take on Vendal's job as a school leader.
Tumblr media
And, finally, there is Douxie. He's just a witch and a bard at St. Epiderm since it's said to be the private school in the show.

Update:
Tumblr media
I am proud to announce that "Loyalty & Light" now has a date of return! Yeaaaah! That's right, we're back in business... soon. heh. Hopefully, now having a date will tide you all over.
Meanwhile, “The Most Undoing Thing” is well on its way and will follow a more sporadic update format. Meaning, it probably won’t be as frequent as y’all would like. If you still haven’t heard, TMUT is going to 20 chapters so we’ve got three left! Wooo!
But now, it's time to promote what else I got in the works:
Arcane/Legends of Runeterra, Mama Jinx future AU, multi-chapter story (Title: “The Most Undoing Thing”). Returns August 9th, uploads (somewhat) monthly basis.
The Owl House, Lealtad Noceda big sister/beta sister AU, multi-chapter story (Title: “Loyalty & Light”). Returns August 2nd, uploads biweekly basis.
The Owl House & The Ghost and Molly McGee crossover, crossover AU, multi-chapter story (Title: “The Light and Molly McGee”). Work in Progress. (not coming anytime soon).
The Walking Dead (TV series) & Telltale's The Walking Dead (game) crossover, crossover AU, Violetine, Rick meets Clem, multi-chapter story (Title: "The After"). Work in Progress (not coming anytime soon).
The Dragon Prince, Rayllum oneshot collection, multi-AU & canon compliant stories (Title: “Magic Between the Moon & Sky”). Still on hiatus! I've yet to actually even watch season 4! But it'll be back eventually!
Halloween Fics! It's early to promote now, but by October I have three oneshots of three different fandoms planned! All Halloween themed and with ships!
So yeah, we getting busy folks! I would like to lead with that though there are schedules in place, these are subject to change in events of burnout, personal matters, or just inconveniences like tech issues. Or there may be random fics that pop up that weren't listed but I just made for the Hell of it. Keeping up with the fic tags---which is usually the fic name plus "update" at the end---is the best way to stay up to date on my fic series/multi-chapter stories.
I should state for the record, I will be returning to university this coming Fall and working part-time more. I'm going to be more busy of course, but I swear I’m doing my best to make sure I'm not overwhelmed! ᕦ( ò_ó)ᕤ
As always, if you're curious about these WIP fics I have in store, don't be afraid to ask about 'em! I'm always down to answer asks ( ^‿^).
Also, here is my ko-fi. I stated this before, but there is no pressure or need to donate (especially since I haven't been posting as much 😅). Fanfiction is a fun hobby and practice for me, but it's also out of my own free time and effort. So if you want to show your appreciation you can buy me a Coffee but the easy way would be sending me a comment on my stories or simply sharing my works. At the end of the day, I do this to spread my passion but also to entertain others.
(☞゚ヮ゚)☞
By the way, tags with “bleh update” keep track of all incoming fic posts! And check out my Fandom Masterlist to see what I'm into! Also Here’s all my Fanfics!
That's all for now. Stay safe and take care all!
Until next post,
- Bleh
