#1 underpantser any hopes 4 the dog man movie?

that it's good 🥺🥺 and that it makes a lot of money so that dreamworks will greenlight a sequel and maybe finally give us the Captain Underpants sequel we so desperately need 😭😭😭

but for legitimate hopes: I hope the plot manages to strike a good balance between the Dog Man vs. Petey story line and the Lil' Petey story line. I hope the movie is just as much a love letter to the Dog Man books as the CU movie was to the CU books. I hope Dog Man doesn't get sidelined in his own movie. I hope Lil' Petey is written well and not annoying and I hope his relationship with Petey is handled well. I hope I'm wrong about Pete Davidson's casting and he ends up surprising me with this movie.

but most of all:

I HOPE I SEE GEORGE AND HAROLD AGAIN PLEASE I MISS MY BOYS SO MUCH I DON'T EVEN CARE IF THEY'RE BOTH RECAST IT LITERALLY DOES NOT MATTER TO ME I JUST WANT TO SEE MY BOYS AGAIN 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 PLEASE LET THEM BE THE MOVIE'S NARRATORS OR SOMETHING PLEASE PETER HASTINGS I'M BEGGING
