billy batson was a TEN YEAR OLD CHAMPION OF MAGIC hanging out with SUPERMAN, what on Earth could've possibly happened to him? Why would he ever need to fear for anything? What was he even supposed to do, when the League was rebranded a Regime and Kal asked him for his help? How could anything go wrong, when you are part of the JUSTICE league Regime and you are a child and your friends tell you what they're doing is right? your friends, the justice league regime, who have been ingrained into your brain as HEROES. And you are a child, and they are ADULTS. And you're supposed to TRUST adults, and if you ever need something, you're meant to go to the ADULTS. What do you do, Billy Batson? How were you meant to see His hands reaching forward, to grab your throat? How were you supposed to see your Death????

me dropping in random pieces of lore like JK Rowling: actually in eye in the sky the only reason J’onn isn’t around helping Kal control Bruce’s mind via telepathy is because he was forced to use his powers on Bruce (to reveal the location of his bases, children, fall back resources etc) and Bruce, under torture, reversed the telepathic link out of pure desperation and broke J’onn. Made him catatonic, or near to it. Not on purpose, maybe, but through the sheer weight of his horror at revealing those locations to Kal and the Regime. And J’onn, on his way out of Bruce’s mind before becoming catatonic, acquiesced to Bruce’s silent plea and erased the memories with the last of his coherence. So Bruce had a jagged hole in his mind on purpose. And I’m sure it hurts.

The Fandom: Try to force traditional family roles and the nuclear family's format on the found family that is the Batfam. Cannot accept Barbara and Steph as Batfam's members because "they're not Bruce's daughters!". Cannot accept that characters that aren't Bruce's children wear bat symbols (pls have you ever consume any Batman media??? The bat is a symbol, it's not about Bruce!!!) See Damian and Dick having a deep relationship and it must be a father/son relationship!
The source material: Bruce LITERALLY telling Damian that the bats living in the Batcave (and Gotham as a whole?!) aren't his pets, they are his family. His nuclear family got killed in an alley, wild animals are family too now.

DC: How can we show people that this world is BAD and EVIL and the WORST POSSIBLE TIMELINE?
Everyone else: Maybe you could show more desolate landscapes
Everyone else: You should show how corrupt the government is!
Everyone else: Oh, you should have all the good characters be evil and the bad characters be good!
DC: I hear you, I hear you, but we need something better— something FLASHY!
*Billy Batson just ✨existing✨*
DC: …Let’s nuke the kid.

What DC movies I wanna see besides 10 more same movies about Batman:
1. Red Hood. Not an adaptation of Under the Red Hood, but rather about his adventures later (but ofc it should include his backstory, just with a less focus on it)
2. Teen titans - Robin becoming Nightwing. Let's be honest, the show Titans is mid and tried to be too "realistic", I can't call it a super hero series. But I want at least a trilogy about Teen titans, focusing or Robin becoming Nightwing with them being actual teens. (More specific wishes: The Judas contract, Deathstroke's revenge, Starfire vs Blackfire)
3. Deathstroke & Wilson family. It would even be better if it was the same universe as Teen titans movies so Deathstroke was the villain in one of them films
4. Deathstroke vs Batman
5. Harlivy movie
6. Movie about Batfam besides Batman. About Robins or Batgirls
7. Flashpoint adaptation
8. Wonder woman vs Cheetah
9. Something about League of Assassins, because there is never enough focus on them
10. Dark days: the casting. Tell me, who does NOT want to see Batman who laughs???
Feel free to add anything you would wanna see!

APEX Superman (Lex Luthor) character design
Thought it'd be nice to make an official character sheet for my Lex Luthor and his Superman armor (with a hologram cape for a more fancy look).

Parahumans Inspiration Question
It's really hard joining a fandom late and trying to figure out what's been discussed and what hasn't, and the Wiki doesn't even mention directly that Jack Slash is an obvious Joker parallel, so I can't trust it.
Anyways, is Coil based on Lex Luthor? The more obvious inspiration would be Deathstroke(heavily associated with teen supers, exploits underage kids, leads a mercenary org), but Coil's plan and goals, his success financially, and his ability to gather civilian power all seem very Luthor-coded. The whole "sit in a limo and brag to costumed weirdos about how you've put everything in place to achieve power in several ways simultaneously" scene is just so Luthor it hurts. As is getting beaten because everyone around him finds him so unpleasant that they'll sabotage any number of long-term goals just to make him suffer.
Or am I reading too much into things?

Injustice AU
I really want to see a short story where Billy is transported to the Injustice universe after his alternate version of Captain Marvel has already been killed and must find a way to return home while navigating the differences in this alternate reality, helping to stop Superman, and protecting Fawcett City. Like can you imagine how crazy it would be to see your own burial then pretend to be the revised version of your alternate self to go into a war. While also facing the idea that the person you idolize for years has become an evil dictator and is the same person who murdered you. Billy having to face his alternate foster family who just lost their son/brother while looking and acting exactly like them (If he had a foster family). Also having to face the scary fact that despite his powers he can get hurt or worse killed, still choosing to protect the world despite the fact it's not his because it's the right thing to do. With a happy ending, of course!

Heroes & Villains The DC Animated Universe - Paper Cut-Out Portraits and Profiles
The Shade
The villainous Shade was a criminal who used a specialized ‘nightstick’ that could create a shroud of inky darkness, perfect for making getaways during heists. The Shade was among the villains gathered by Lex Luthor in the formation of his Injustice League.  Although Shade was much more interested in making money as opposed to eliminating the Justice league, he went along with the plan in that Luthor had promised a lucrative payday.
Following the defeat of the original Injustice League, Shade joined a second iteration formed by the rogue Amazonian, Aresia.  Thereafter he was recruited into Gorilla Grodd’s Secret Society of Super Villains.  Even though this venture proved as fruitless as previous endeavors, Shade would go on to join The Legion of Doom.  A fateful decision in that he perished when Darkseid destroyed the Legion’s headquarters.
Actor Stephen McHattie provided the voice for Shade, with the villain first appearing in the eighth episode of the first season of Justice League, ‘Injustice For All.’

Fic idea for anyone who’s looking for one: The Justice League went dark ten years ago. The only thing that remains is the Regime.
Batman (stripped of his cowl and suit) has been imprisoned on the Watchtower since the JL dissolved, forced to train the Regime’s younger superheroes. The leverage keeping him compliant? His own kids are part of the Regime’s program.

I can’t remember who initially said the idea of the RoE being a multiverseal center but this is based off that
The RoE (depending on how it’s portrayed) switches from existing at the center of the Universe or outside it, so I went “universe is doughnut shaped” theory and said it’s both and that it’s also the only RoE in the multiverse. Which means that sometimes Billy runs into other versions of himself and just kinda got used to it.
It’s a dumb idea but Billy running into alternate versions of himself or universe hopping out of boredom or for the guaranteed adventure through the door room of the RoE.
Possibility for humor with the wackier Captain Marvels and universes, fun adventure, and the typical angst of him not seeing some versions of himself around the RoE after a while
Uh, no, this is NOT a dumb idea😍! I’ve thought about this too!
After all, it seems odd that there could be multiple RoEs. For importance purposes there has to be only one.
Anyway, the whole “Billy meeting other versions of himself(and probably his siblings too) definitely keeps my gears turning. I’m imaging that he started out seeing a lot of other Marvels/Shazams when he first got his powers. The Rock was full of kids running through different rooms, getting magic tools, reading or hanging in the cafe, complaining about their adult team members, etc. All of them grew close because they all shared the same burden.
But as the years go by, something changes. Some Billys come through their doors less and less. And when they do, the stress is written all over them. I’m ofc referring to the Billys of Injustice, Flashpoint, DCAMU, etc.
It’s a slow process, but at some point, they realize that some of them have stopped coming all together. The rock gets quiet. There are no more loud parties in the cafe. The thrones were pushed aside to make room for blankets and pillows because there were too many of them for just seven thrones. No one site there anymore.
Everyone’s too scared to reach out, stuck in their own worlds, their own problems. It’s no wonder that no one notices when their numbers start to dwindle.
The thing is, Billy can feel when something happens to his counterparts. He’s sensitive to it thanks to his position. He feels he laser eyes and the cut throat and the leg being torn off of him. He feels it all.
He goes to the rock one day and it dawns on him how quiet it’s become. Obviously he’s not the only one left, but they just don’t talk anymore. The hero life has taken its toll and the kids are scared of having any fun. Now when one billy sees another, they just walk on.
The doors to the other worlds are sealed off, as no one wants to see their own dead body. When a new Billy arrives, they steer clear, not knowing what end this one will meet.
Okay I’m gonna end the angst here cause this made me depressed😅
