I love this person
“Occasionally I’ll have a beer after work and break out the sketchbook. But I had wanted to be this great painter. I wanted to do these grand things: big, huge oil paintings. But those days of painting all the time were such a roller coaster. There were these periods of extreme depression, followed by manic states of trying to put myself out there. I couldn’t do it anymore. I mainly felt sorry for my dad. I know it was rough for him. My mom hadn’t wanted me to go to art school. She wanted me to do something more practical, but my dad said: ‘No. This is what he wants to do, and I want to support his dream.’ And then I abandoned it. That was the first time I had to deal with real failure. A lot of times when you’re an artist, it’s your job, it’s your lifestyle, it’s your entire fucking identity. It wasn’t like I failed to do a thing. It was like: I failed to be something, you know? It was a failure to live up to what I thought was my destiny. But then on the other side of that, there was this figuring out that there was nothing wrong with me the entire time. I didn’t need to be something else to have meaningful friendships, or a good relationship. I didn’t need to be something else to be loved and cared about. After work tonight I’m going to meet up with a person who’s in love with me, and I can’t wait. And that person met me long after I gave up on being a full-time artist. They met me when I wasn’t even a chef yet. I was a piss-poor, part-time line cook. But even then, they decided I was worth it. So you know, there’s something there. There’s something there that’s enough.”

Aries Midheaven:
you’re such a competitive individual and an innovator, you’re not afraid of taking risks and being bold. It’s hard for you to depend on other people, you need to be your own leader when it comes to your career. The perfect career path involves a lot of action and dynamism, following every day the same routine is not something that appeals you. As a driven individual, you thrive on challenges and are always seeking new opportunities to grow and learn. You have a natural ability to think outside of the box and come up with innovative solutions to problems. You're not afraid to take risks and push yourself outside of your comfort zone, because you know that's where growth happens. When it comes to your career, you're not content with simply following the crowd. You need to be in control of your own destiny and chart your own path. You have a strong sense of purpose and direction, and you're not afraid to pursue your dreams with relentless determination. The perfect career for you is one that allows you to constantly evolve and adapt. You need to be challenged, stimulated, and engaged in your work on a daily basis. With your competitive spirit and innovative mindset, you're sure to make a real impact in whatever career path you choose
Taurus Midheaven:
Your top priorities are stability, enjoying life and being creative. You prefer to approach your career methodically, following a routine is not something that bothers you. You have amazing taste and expressing your creativity is very important for you. You might enjoy a career path that involves aesthetics and creativity, you might also enjoy a job that revolves around food (you might be a great chef). You should choose a career that aligns with your priorities and natural abilities, for example, exploring opportunities in the creative arts. You could pursue a career as a graphic designer, interior decorator, or fashion designer. Alternatively, you may find fulfillment in the culinary arts, either as a chef or food stylist. Whatever path you choose, be sure to focus on finding a work-life balance that allows you to enjoy the stability and creative expression that you value most. Remember, the most fulfilling career is one that brings you joy and satisfaction in all aspects of your life.
Gemini Midheaven:
You’re such a curious and multitalented individual, you might enjoy exploring multiple career paths during your lifetime. You’re talented when it comes to communications, media, journalism and anything that’s connected with writing. Routine is something that annoys you, you should choose a career path that involves a variety of activities. You’re also extremely expressive, you might be a talented actor. There are many career options that could suit your unique set of skills and interests. You should also consider pursuing a career in public relations or marketing because these fields often involve a mix of writing, communication, and creativity. Another option to consider is working in the entertainment industry, where your expressive nature and love for variety could be put to good use. You could explore opportunities in acting, directing, or even producing. With your natural curiosity and multitalented abilities, the possibilities are endless. A career in counseling, social work, or education could be a fulfilling path for you to explore. It's also important to stay grounded and humble, and not let fame or attention get to your head. Stay true to yourself and your values, and continue to work hard towards your goals while also making a positive impact on the world.
Virgo Midheaven:
You prefer a career path that brings you stability instead of one that brings you power and fame. Being in the spotlight is not something that appeals you and you prefer to help others instead of being at the center of the attention. Being helpful is very important for you, being a doctor or working in the healthcare field seems to be perfect for you. You prefer facts over feelings and you have a logical mind, you might be a good lawyer. Don't be afraid to explore different options and take risks in order to find the right fit for you. Whether it's in the realm of communication, art, or law, there are countless opportunities available for those with this placement. Remember to stay true to yourself and never stop learning and growing in your chosen field. With hard work and perseverance, you can achieve great things and make a positive impact on the world around you.

Your dedication and hard work have helped you achieve success in your career, and your determination will continue to take you further.

Your career could also revolve around traveling and exploring new places. Your adventurous spirit is what sets you apart from others. You thrive on the excitement of discovering new things and visiting uncharted territories. You have a natural curiosity and a thirst for knowledge that drives you to explore different cultures, cuisines, and ways of life. Your love for learning is contagious and people around you are drawn to your enthusiasm. As a teacher, you have a unique ability to make complex concepts easy to understand. You have a way with words that captivates your audience and makes them feel excited to learn. You might be interested in finance or business. You’re an amazing leader, you tend to be admired by those around you for your success. However, it's important to remember that success isn't everything. While ambition is a great quality, it's also important to take breaks and prioritize self-care. It's okay to step back and reassess your goals and priorities. Don't forget to give yourself credit for how far you've already come. Remember that being a good leader also means being able to take care of yourself and those around you. Keep striving for success, but don't forget to enjoy the journey along the way.
Aquarius Midheaven:
You’re attracted to unconventional paths, not everybody are going to understand your job. You might try many different career during your lifetime, you’re someone who gets easily bored, starting again is something that makes you feel excited. You might work with technology (you might be a software engineer) or social network, you’re attracted to every jobs that involves technology, innovation and communication. Don't be afraid to take risks and try new things, but also be mindful of your long-term goals and aspirations. With your unconventional mindset and willingness to explore, you're sure to find a career path that suits you and makes you feel fulfilled. Keep an open mind and embrace the journey ahead!

“Many places I have been
Many sorrows I have seen
But I don't regret
Nor will I forget
All who took that road with me”
-The Last Goodbye by Billy Boyd
This is an Adjuration by @not-freyja, after 86 chapters, 300k words, and 10 months of joy, laughter, tears, heartbreak and love, has finally reached its end.
Adjuration is a tragedy that is nothing short of an act of love. That much is clear in the passion and dedication put towards the story, the characters, and the message Freyja is trying to convey. This fic will teach you about love. About death. About the inevitability of existence and why despite knowing it will all come to an end, there is still meaning in trying and hoping and loving each other. In loving yourself. You will laugh, you will cry, you will hope and you will despair as you read this story, but you will not be able to put it down.
It’s hard to say goodbye to something that has been so important to and loved by so many people. So we won’t. Instead, we will say thank you for this incredible journey and the community this fic has built. For the friendships that have been made and the endless inspiration you have given us. Thank you for wanting to tell a story, and for letting us join you around the campfire to listen.
Thank you.
(If you like Linked Universe and haven’t yet read Adjuration, see below for spoiler free reviews of this fic and artist credits.)
This is an Adjuration is the kind of story you fall in love with, the kind of story you think keep thinking about long after you put it down. The kind you keep finding hidden details in after you think you’ve got it figured out.
The characters are distinct and people with their own voices, motivations, relationships and histories. You’ll have your favourites but love them all. They influence how you’ll see the characters in everything else.
It’s full of moments where everything clicks and everything before is recontextualised in a way that’s so satisfying and make the whole story very re-readable. A time travel story where all loops are already closed, where you can know but not yet understand what will happen. It’s long, complex, and beautifully, meticulously planned and detailed. It’s clever and considered, funny and heartbreaking.
A story that whispers ‘it matters’ over and over. It is worth it to love, it is worth it if it doesn’t last forever, it is worth it to give someone a little more time, it is worth it to fight. It’s about loving others and your world and finding grace for yourself.
It’s loss and tragedy and the cruelness of fate. It is the sacrifice and the breaking.
Full of heart to both fill yours and break it in the best possible way.
It’s about love. Always.
By @toyouhellohowareyou
Sometimes, it’s hard to explain to others why art moves us.
I could tell you This is an Adjuration will make you cry, laugh, and sit at the edge of your seat in anticipation. And it’s probably true - I did all of that as I read, often with a coffee in one hand, early in the morning as I got ready for the day.
But that’s not the reason why I’m writing this.
The real reason is how it followed me during the rest of the day.
You see, at a certain point I realized this isn’t a story about Links going on adventures. Well, it does feature Links, and they do go on adventures, so let’s talk about that for a minute.
The first thing that caught my attention about this book was the characters. Each individual is unique, interesting, and exciting to follow. Not only are the Links individually compelling, but one thing that stands out in Adjuration is how the relationship between each Hero and their own worlds matter, and these connections shift, evolve, break and grow as the plot progresses.
Freyja does an incredible job of bringing together impactful storytelling with humor and heart. This is an Adjuration starts with an interesting premise, and then twists and turns in directions you wouldn’t expect. It’s rich in thought-provoking moments, soft joy and intense action, blended in with carefully crafted time travel and magic.
Adjuration sucked me into the world it builds, combining believable characters with fascinating stories, an unnervingly devious antagonist, plot twists, and lovingly crafted details that slip unnoticed until you’re surrounded on all sides. It made me cheer for characters I feel as if I’ve known intimately for years, made me worry for their safety as I would for that of a loved one, kept me hunting for hints and hidden references, pulling on a thread to try to find the end only for it to twist and loop into itself and show me a completely new side to the story.
Yes, This is an Adjuration is a fanfiction piece that explores the winding river flow of the Legend of Zelda timeline and how the stories of each Hero merge into each other. It also stands out for its heavy emotional content, and it doesn’t shy away from angst and hurt.
But to me, Adjuration is an epic journey that taught me how the choices we make, make us in turn. It’s a tragedy that deals with pain and healing, and it bares naked the non-linear nature of grief. It’s a celebration of the things that make us unique, of our flaws, an essay of the impact of little acts of love. Indeed, it’s a story about love.
I can tell you now, This is an Adjuration moved me. It still does. It has a special way to surface in my mind in unexpected ways at seemingly random times, from something as simple as tossing an apple core, to watching a lightning storm in the distance, or finding a picture of an old friend.
And every time, without fail, it makes me think about love.
By @sunny-porridge
This is an Adjuration is a wonderfully and beautifully crafted story about love, loss, and choice as the various incarnations of Link come together and travel through time. Freyja seamlessly weaves a tapestry of setup and payoff across different timelines and loops, in the best-constructed time travel plot I’ve ever seen on page or screen. Even at its surface, Adjuration is an emotional rollercoaster involving tragedy and the soft moments that make that tragedy worth it. But the deeper you look, the more meaning you can pull from every chapter of this amazing work. This work has made me cry, squeal with delight, and think more deeply about its themes all while having an absolute blast reading it. So in summary: READ IT. READ IT. READ IT NOW. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
By @life-in-winter
While I love that every chapter is emotionally enthralling, with carefully woven, visceral tension you crave in any good story, yet Adjuration is more than that, and you feel it in the careful weave of each character and plot point. Nothing is lost or unanswered. It's the kind of story that, by the end, makes you stop and take a hard look at your own life. Are you appreciating the now? Are you savoring joy? Are you so wrapped up in fear that you can hardly take care of yourself? Do you know who you are?
This story is more like an external experience. It's riding atop a tsunami. How do you handle that ride, Link?
There aren't enough words to describe how amazing this fic is.

I want to hug every person out there with a harsh moon-saturn aspect. A person with this aspect likely went through some hardships in areas of childhood; especially in regards to the relationship with their caregiver/mother. Their caregiver (usually the mother) could have been emotionally distant therefore being unable to provide proper nurturance a child needs. Maybe the mother herself was dealing with her own emotional distress during her pregnancy or after the child was born. I’ve also seen people with this aspect (including my own experience with this aspect) who had a caregiver that struggled with some sort of addiction or that the child was a witness/victim to some form of abuse. Facing poverty is also something that’s commonly seen. Because of the lack of warmth in their upbringings, this could heavily impact one’s sense of self worth. They end up internalizing the mother’s actions/words or lack-thereof believing that the reason their caregiver is so distant (whether it be emotionally or physically) or acted that way towards the child was because of something they had done.
Building solid and healthy relationships for these people is quite difficult as well. They have to learn how to accept other people’s warmth and nurturance and allow others in. Because it’s so foreign to these people to be on the receiving end of things, they could entirely self sabotage or have this innate belief that they’re unworthy of recieving another’s loving gestures. Many moon-saturn people feel that they need to take on the role of both the mother and father and step into a place of needing to be responsible for everyone and everything. They are often the most mature within their families and amongst their peers. They need to realize that it’s not their job to carry the weight of the world and that they’re only responsible for their own words and actions. They often have very depressive thoughts that causes them to dwell or deeply ruminate. Sometimes they have very rigid perspectives and see things through a black and white lens and have distorted beliefs. It’s almost like they have a weighted blanket covering the mind, and a chain wrapped around their heart. Because of their commonly cold upbringings, these people have a hard time healthily expressing their emotions. They may often feel numb or scared to express how they really feel.
Some common misconceptions people make about these folks is that they’re incapable of being emotionally open, that they’re cold and have no heart or that they’re too in their heads (the last one might be true lol). These people haven’t been dealt the greatest cards and they need to establish a sense of trust within themselves and between them and the other before they feel open to express how they’re truly feeling. They’ve build walls around themselves to keep their heart protected. You won’t be able to win their trust easily, it takes time (saturn). They likely care about you but are reluctant to showing it because they fear rejection or dismissal. Many people also think these people are boring or are somewhat robotic. Moon-saturn people likely weren’t allowed to act on their childlike qualities or really delve into their interests due to growing up so fast because of the kind of environment they experienced in their upbringing so their expression is somewhat diluted. These people are silly and have a side to them that is playful and lighthearted and they have incredible interests that they usually express when they’re by themselves. It takes time for them to fully open up; it requires patience.
Here are some things a moon-saturn person can do to work with and hopefully overcome this harsh aspect:
Therapy (CBT, DBT, Trauma therapy, Somatic therapy).
Allow yourself to do things you weren’t allowed to do as a child.
Work on reframing the mind.
Work on getting out of scarcity mindset.
Do things that bring you joy and make you smile/laugh.
Write a gratitude list.
Talk to trees/plants/animals. They’re the least judgmental of all living things.
Create a space that’s comforting for you.
Journal.
Develop a healthy sense of self worth (You can use affirmations, express yourself how you want, tell yourself you’re deserving of good things, meditating, practice self compassion, accept yourself for who you are, etc.).
Get a ESA/service pet.
Write letters to yourself.
When faced with difficult situations, find the lesson within them.
If your family adds stress to your life, set boundaries with them or fully cut them off.
Find community (there’s community all around).
Write down the beliefs you have about yourself and look at them from an objective POV. Recognize how harmful they might be.
Work on your relationships. If you have friends and they’ve stuck around, there’s a reason they’re still there. Open up and allow them in. The right ones will stay in your life.
If in a romantic relationship, openly express your love for that person. Don’t hold back.
Make time once or twice a month where you and your partner can sit and openly discuss how you guys feel within and about the relationship.
Eat a hot meal.
Find new hobbies!

🐢 and 🌼 for zenos pretty please
🐢 for a mental health headcanon
Zenos has always been a traumatized little guy and also canonically was very interested in stories and reading, so I like to think he has a very active imagination even as a depressed adult, and recedes into his headspace when he's in those dull, empty moments where nothing feels good. I feel like the reason he was so quick to swap from calling the warrior of light things like "eikon slayer" and "champion of the savages" to "friend" despite really not knowing them outside of the battlefield at that point, was because he imagined a whole other life in his head. The little description of "whiling away the hours and friend and confidante" he brings up couldn't have come out of nowhere after all, he thought about that a lot. I think the reason he ultimately rejects it even if the warrior of light accepts him in that moment is because as much as he dreams of better things, he is the first to squash those fancies in himself. He was conditioned to believe he didn't deserve good, so he truly believed it, even when being offered something good. 🥺 He is nothing if not a sad, whimsical, deeply damaged man.
🌼 for a happiness headcanon
Zenos getting into any non-violent hobby and hyperfixating on it. I think at first he would be coming from a place of competition since it's all he knows: he was trained to be this way, to seek out victory over all else, so I think it would begin as like, a bit of friendly sport with the warrior of light. The warrior of light, naturally, does not take it so seriously. Maybe they picked up weaving as a way to pass the time between missions in the rising stones, or leatherworking to feel less guilty about slaying wild beasts when attacked if they can repurpose the skins, or culinary arts to recreate dishes for their friends after tasting them all around the world (or on other shards, whatever the case may be).
Whatever it is, it's something simple the warrior of light enjoys doing and they are not at all worried about being the best or most efficient at it, but seeing that familiar spark in Zenos makes them want to play it up a little and encourage him. Spinning thread for Tataru's boutique, mending adventurers' armor, cooking meals for the hungry, etc. More and more the hobby has an impact on other people too, and Zenos gradually catches on that it's not the competition that matters, but the ripple effect it has on the people around him.
Basically, wol teaching him the joys of helping others for the sake of helping others by tricking him into hyperfixating over something productive 🙌
-
These were just off the top of my head! But I love to think about Zenos healing and learning to truly live :3 Recovery from severe trauma is my bread and butter and I will keep talking about it for Zenos forever because it's what he deserves!!!!
Talk about your muse - headcanons ask game
#ask meme answers#replies#zenoswol#zenos yae galvus#thank you for letting me ramble about him I always enjoy 😊😊😊#and hope you're enjoying too

``—LOOK ! ,,
Lyney is such an interesting and flirty motherfucker. Recently this song has been all over my fyp; Tingin (Look) by Cup of Joe. It's a Filipino song and it's vvvvvvvvvv good.
I recommend listening to the song while you read this.
Imagine—
Another spectacular performance by Lyney and Lynette has brought huge smiles and loud cheers from the crowd, expressing utter satisfaction and glee from the magic they have witnessed once more.
It was no lie that Lyney was fond of the crowd cheering for them, it boosts his pride and confidence as a magician. It gives him strength to go further with magic, to bring joy to people, even if it's just for a while.
Dawn has fallen as the Opera Epiclese started to empty, the audience had started to make their way back home with a lingering excitement left in their souls, magic truly has such a strong impact. Some started to go home while some stayed, chatting with their friends, family, whoever as laughter filled the air. It was like music to Lyney's ears.
"Great Magician Lyney!"
A kid who happened to be an audience from today's performance waved at the magician who made his way out of the opera with his sister, or also known as his magic assistant. The little boy jumped excitedly as he shook his arms in the air, eager to be noticed by him.
"Hello there," Lyney did not fail to notice, that's a given. He waved back at the little boy and grabbed a card out of nowhere, making the child gasp as his eyes went wide as plates. Flicking the edge of the card with his index finger, Lyney pulled out a balloon from it, amazing the child further.
The distinct sound of the child's cheers immediately drew attention from other people, ending up creating another circle of audience.
Lyney chuckled and gave the white balloon to the kid, patting his head firmly. "You're the coolest magician in the whole world!" Beamed the child as he made sure he had a good grip on the string, jumping happily while the crowd clapped their hands along.
"Magician Lyney show us another trick!"
"Another one, encore!"
The magician placed a hand on his chest, wholeheartedly feeling warm from the crowd's cheering. Usually, he doesn't do any more tricks whenever he finishes a performance at the opera. But as he looks at the crowd cheering for him in glee, how could he say no? The crowd's happiness was, indeed, his happiness as well, after all.
Moments has passed as he showed the crowd small tricks here and their, erupting the joy and excitement further more, creating a lively evening. Twirling his hat on his index finger, he tapped it and white doves flew out, swimming in the air.
Lyney adored magic.
That was what he thought, until he saw you in the midst of crowd.
He felt like time has stopped the moment his eyes landed on your figure, your skin that illuminated from the light that the moon had radiated. The way your hair flowed along the wind as you walked past. You made his heart stop beating, but beat so fast at the same time.
Were you not interested in magic? Or were you simply just the type to mind your own business? A foreigner perhaps that has yet to know him? Either way, even though you didn't turn to look at the crowd surrounding him, he was enticed by your beauty.
The cheering of the crowd became more and more incoherent to his ear the more he stared at you, as if you and him were the only ones there. Or better yet, as if this moment was given for him to admire you and your unfamiliarity that he found so alluring.
Have you noticed him before he could even notice you? Were you looking at him while he was busy entertaining the crowd? Was there any second that you took to look at him before you turned around? He hoped you did. He hoped that you glanced at him by any chance.
—
That's all he thought about as he went home. His head was drowning in the thought of you. It felt weird for him to feel this way, you were a stranger and yet he felt attached already. He wanted to see you again.

Divergent x Stray Kids
What faction would they be in ? | OT8 Headcannon
A/N : these are my own opinions! Feel free to leave your own in the comments
Bang Chan
Faction : Abnegation
I feel like this one is such a no-brainer. Chan is naturally selfless and considerate, always prioritizing others before himself and ready to make sacrifices for the greater good.
In the Abnegation faction, where selflessness is the top priority, Chan would fit right in, gladly giving up his own wants to help others and make the community better without any complaints.
I think he feels a strong calling to serve a greater purpose in life, striving to make a positive impact on people and the world around him.
Even in challenging situations, he never backs down from doing what's right.
Chan is a natural leader, inspiring others with his passion and charm in all aspects of life, including their relationships.
Helping his friends and loved ones become their best selves brings him the most joy.
Lee Minho
Faction : Dauntless
This one is a little bit of a tricky one in my opinion. Truthfully, i think he would be divergent. Although, assuming he wouldn't want to be outed as divergent, and would have to choose a faction, I think he would be in dauntless (Hear me out!)
Minho's personality aligns perfectly with the Dauntless faction's values and lifestyle due to his adventurous and exploratory spirit.
Driven by a sense of fairness and open-mindedness, he moves through life with an encouraging attitude, motivating others to follow their passions.
His relaxed demeanor and "live and let live" attitude make him likable and popular, traits highly valued in the Dauntless community.
Beneath his quiet shyness lies an intensely feeling heart, driving him to embrace challenges and leave everything else in the dust when caught up in something exciting and interesting.
HOWEVER, I think that he could also belong to the amity faction because I wouldn't necessarily call him a fighter ykwim?
Seo Changbin
Faction : Dauntless
Muscle man???! WHAT CAN I SAYYYYY
Binnie is very adventurous by nature
He is willing to seek out thrilling experiences.
He thrives on physical challenges and eagerly faces his fears head-on.
Binnie's social nature makes him well-suited for the communal atmosphere of Dauntless, where shared activities and camaraderie are highly valued.
He enjoys being the life of the party and knows how to bring people together for a good time.
With his keen fashion sense and eye for aesthetics, he adds his unique style to the Dauntless community, making gatherings feel like celebrations.
Despite his outgoing nature, Binnie is observant and sensitive to others' emotions, always offering support to his friends when needed.
However, he may prefer to avoid conflicts if they involve him directly, prioritizing peace and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Binnie's athleticism and dedication to fitness further emphasize his suitability for Dauntless, as he spends significant time honing his physical prowess in the gym.
His commitment to self-improvement and fearless attitude make him a valuable addition to the faction.
Hwang Hyunjin
Faction : Amity
Art= Amity
Although he has a quiet demeanor, he possesses a rich inner world filled with creativity and imagination, traits highly valued in Amity.
He finds solace in daydreams and storytelling, demonstrating a deep sensitivity to art, nature, and the emotions of those around him.
Idealistic and empathetic, Hyunjin longs for meaningful connections and feels a calling to help others, aligning perfectly with the core values of Amity.
In a fast-paced and competitive world, he may sometimes feel out of place, yearning for a community that appreciates his unique qualities.
Hyunjin's sincere curiosity about human nature and his compassionate, nonjudgmental nature make him a perfect fit for Amity's emphasis on understanding and empathy.
He cherishes deep conversations and feels honored to listen and offer support to those in need.
Although Hyunjin may sometimes struggle with internalizing the world's troubles and negative emotions, his desire for peace and kindness aligns perfectly with Amity's values.
He understands the importance of setting boundaries to avoid feeling overwhelmed by the injustices of the world.
In Amity, where peace and kindness reign supreme, Hyunjin would thrive, finding fulfillment in creating harmonious relationships and fostering a sense of unity within the community.
His ability to connect deeply and initiate positive change makes him a valuable asset to the faction, embodying the spirit of Amity's ideals.
Han Jisung
Faction: Candor
Jisung follows the beat of his own drum
His direct and straightforward approach to problem-solving aligns perfectly with Candor's value of honesty and truth.
Jisung prefers to tackle issues head-on, seeking straightforward solutions rather than relying on convoluted methods.
He is authentic and genuine,
Does not conform to societal norms.
While Jisung may not be inclined to socialize beyond what is necessary, he values sincerity and authenticity in his relationships.
Although his reserved nature may make him seem steady and predictable at times, he also possesses a store of impulsive energy that can lead him in bold and unexpected directions.
Candor values willingness to challenge the status quo and embrace change.
In Candor, Jisung would find an environment where his need for freedom, space, and unpredictability is understood and respected.
He would thrive in a community that values honesty above all else and encourages individuals to speak their truth without fear of judgment or deceit.
Also he's a yapper, and Candor's love to talk.
Lee Felix
Faction : Amity
100% no questions ask. Like, do I really need to explain myself?
He's the sunshine boi
Felix excels at creating and maintaining a warm and friendly environment for himself and those around him, fostering harmony within the community.
For Felix, life is all about shared experiences and forming deep connections with others.
He thrives in social settings and enjoys opening his heart and home to friends, loved ones, and neighbors, reflecting Amity's value of hospitality and inclusivity.
In Amity, Felix would find a supportive and nurturing environment where his dedication to creating a peaceful and inclusive community is valued and celebrated.
His ability to foster connections and maintain a friendly atmosphere would make him a cherished member of the faction, embodying the spirit of Amity's ideals.
Kim Seungmin
Faction : Candor
He is too honest lmao
Chan, you're half 52 next year??
In Candor, Seungmin would find a community that values his honesty and straightforwardness, where his dedication to maintaining honesty and integrity would be celebrated and appreciated.
People in this faction are very unlikely to show emotion, and let's face it neither does Seungmin
While forming close bonds with those who share his values and opinions, Seungmin believes in the power of hospitality and good manners, but he also isn't afraid to say what's on his mind.
Yang Jeongin
Faction : Abnegation
He's just like his dad (Chan) fr
His innate selflessness and loyalty shine through in his dedication to supporting and helping those around him.
Whether it's lending a listening ear or offering a helping hand, Jeongin is always there for others, embodying the essence of service over self.
Moreover, his reliability and commitment to excellence align with Abnegation's emphasis on putting others' needs before his own.
Jeongin's ensures that tasks are completed to the highest standard.
He has a keen eye for detail and genuine eagerness to make a positive impact highlight his selfless and caring nature.
He takes pride in going above and beyond his responsibilities, finding fulfillment in serving others rather than seeking personal gain.

the pillars of self-fulfillment⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🎐
something that i love to talk about and quote is that u cannot fill the cups of others when ur own cup is empty. but what about when we do have the capacity to pour into others?
for me, when i pour into myself i feel refreshed and revived. however when i pour into my environment and others, the return on investment that i experience is immeasurable and gives fulfillment. so i've decided to separate my views on self fulfillment into 3 pillars, relationships, self, and community.
pillar one - relationships : pour into ur friends and family. remember to maintain a healthy and strong friendship u both need to give, so put ur energy towards a friendship that u want to stay strong.
ik a lot of self improvement blogs (including my own) put emphasis on the importance of spending time alone, and it IS important, the most important actually. but once you've built a relationship with urself u can build meaningful relationships with others. take good care of urself and take good care of ur friends too.
pillar two - community : start putting forward time to help ur communities. it sounds so cliche but it makes u feel fulfilled as a person knowing that ur making an impact not only in the lives of ur close relationships but also in the lives of strangers.
some schools require x amount of community service hours to qualify for certain privileges and opportunities. in my school, to qualify for scholarships u need a certain amount of community service hours so not only does it benefit others but it also benefits me and my goals.
beach cleanups
make packages for the homeless people
donate money to charity (practice philanthropy)
participate in food drives
raise awareness for serious issues in the world
pillar three - self : do inner healing work, i'll always advocate for it because often times what happens is, we dont notice our own internal hurt and end up hurting the people around us who dont deserve it. so please be self aware for the sake of others and most importantly urself.
dedicate time to hobbies
inner healing work (shadow work, therapy etc)
anything that gives u a distinct identity, DO IT MORE
anything that brings u joy/fulfillment DO IT MORE
the importance and key concept of the third pillar of self fulfillment is staying true to urself and being ur authentic self always. literally GET TO KNOW URSELF, ur achievements, ur dreams + aspirations etc. if ur someone who forgets easily (like myself) make a list of everything you've achieved and done because i PROMISE u ur more interesting that u think <3

in light of how egregious anti-trans fascism keeps getting in the UK I (from a US "safe state" (a term which... lol)) want to say that the work you're doing with queer youth has got to be super impactful in ways that go way beyond just the people you directly serve. & it makes me feel more empowered to protect my community knowing that it's a global project as well as a personal one. sending so much love & courage
The work that I and my colleagues do, and the work of all the other queer organisations and movements who are doing all kinds of amazing things around the country and the world has really been what’s kept me going through all the terrible things which keep happening to trans people here and abroad.
It’s not always easy, especially when we have to explain quite how bad the situation is to someone who assumes that they/ their child will have easy access to rights at school or any kind of medical intervention before being 18. But the support and community we can and do offer is lifesaving for so many people, and brings so much joy and hope which is so important and needed right now.
Thank you so much for this message, it’s so nice to hear the impact of our work and get a reminder of how much of a community exists globally.
Love and courage 💜

(first ask ever so lets go!)
Glad you liked Frieren! What got you into the series? I honestly just want to hear more on your thoughts in general lol
Oh, boy. I've been saving this one. Let's go! (No spoilers ahead)
My friend is a huge anime watcher and told me that she thought I would enjoy the series. (And oh boy was she right.)
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is everything I want my stories to be.
From the fantasy setting, magic system, and world building, to the character dynamics and subtle but steady character growth, it is phenomenal.
The running themes of time's steady progression-- consequences of actions, both good and bad across generations and decades is brilliantly executed by the character concept of Frieren.
The key to defeating evil being presented as a form of humility- one that evil cannot comprehend- is absolutely brilliant.
The gradual revelation of multiple layers of the world and history and character relationships. I love that a large aspect of this show is simply character study. It's an intensely character driven show and I adore that.
The simple and subtle humor is wonderful. It isn't afraid to be silly and goofy- and the fact that often it is the wiser characters who show this silliness or (for lack of a better term) humanity in their lives is artfully done.
The art style and music are both GORGEOUS.
The longevity of love. The impact people have on you, even if they are only in your life a short while! The emphasis to value the people around you and pay attention and build relationships and never take people for granted!
The humble confidence and trust in one's ability without arrogance.
The training and working for both yourself but also for others. Learning and growing in order to serve!
The lasting impact of love and valuing relationships because they are fleeting and appreciating the time that you have brings me to tears.
The absoluteness when it comes to evil and how to deal with it. There is no compromising with it. You kill it.
The valuing and emphasis on the small !! aspects !! of !! life!! Little moments of joy in life's toils and journeys. Helping the ordinary people around you. Home being the most valuable thing to protect and value! Valuing the everyday work! The magic in the mundane!
This story is beautiful because it tells the truth.

✨ happy new year! ✨
it's not yet 2024 where i am but it is where my love @ravensmadreads is, so happy new year already enjoying january 1st!
i usually overthink around my birthday as i march towards death but you lovely people have really made me think about 2023 as it comes to a close. i feel weird talking about myself (unless im drunk and we haven't started drinking yet so hold onto your butts for that possibility), so i'm just going to say this:
You all changed my life.
there, that's it. if you read this and you think it doesn't mean you, yes it does. not a day goes by where this place, this community does not bring me joy and warmth. i hope you get that job you wanted, or you get that fur baby adoption you've been hoping for, or you get accepted to that school you wanted to, or you graduate with all the honors, or you create the thing you've always wanted to, or you get the baby you've been hoping for, or the person who makes you heart flip says i love you. i'm nervous about next year because it truly feels like a year where anything can happen 🤍
now to the fandom stuff:
i've never done a fic rec list because inevitably, i'm a fucking moron and i leave someone out. i know it hurts when i'm left out of a fic rec list so i never want to do that to anyone here. what follows is a list of fics that spoke specifically to me. the old saying goes is that you don't write fanfic for yourself, you write it for the five freaks on discord that can't write coherent sentences after you publish -- and it's true. fanfic isn't about numbers -- i would much rather write for my five freaks on my discord (where my work has deep, emotional impact for them) than try to write for a large crowd that i will never ever manage to please all at once.
my wish for you in 2024 you all find your freaks. and i hope i'm one of them.
side note: there are a couple fics not on the list because i wanted to highlight fics that i didn't see much on other end of the year rec lists. but @iamskyereads 's Compulsion should be read in graduate programs and @whatsnewalycat already knows i'm going to name my first born child after her for her Psychomanteum. yall rock my goddamn world.
so without further adieu . . . these are the fics i read this year that tickled me pink.
God is a Woman by @wheresarizona the way arizona writes max is entirely unique. i love her descriptions of how cold he is and how he doesn't breathe. i read this and had to rethink everything i ever wrote for max
the impaler by @kiwisbell the dracula x johnathan x mina vibes in this are spectacular. this is a pairing i never thought i'd see much less enjoy so thoroughly. why is older tim being seduced by a younger max so hot??
night one by @haylzcyon this is one of the first fics i read by hayley and she pretty much set the standard for all marcus pike fics moving forward. his endless patience, his flirty attitude, how he see things the reader won't admit, and then the sleeping bag -- god i'd read a thousand more fics about this dymanic
blood & tinsel by @morallyinept so if i tried to list all of my favorite jett fics, we'd be here all night. but this one stands out to me because it's so well built. the description of the vampire "trance" or "glamor" or "compulsion" without using any of those words is INCREDIBLE. plus max is face-meltingly hot in this.
the world turned on its side by @idolatrybarbie this was a surprise that came outta nowhere, but it hit me like a fucking train. bea weaves a story that sticks with you and creates a frankie that makes my entire soul sing.
heat by @wordywarriorwrites okay, listen. the beauty of fanfic is that you can have insane, animalistic smut AND literary level writing. this fic is both. i have yet to come across another frankie abo fic that makes the dynamic more than a reason for the blorbos to fuck like animals. it's so well done, there's so much love here.
in fiction @sin-djarin yall know dieter is my boy so i am VERY particular about how he is written in fic. everyone's interpretation is valid, but for dieter fics to resonate with me, there has to be this special blend of humor, kindness, dorkiness, and a sexiness you didn't expect. this fic is all of that and more.
reminiscence by @projectionistwrites this was one of the first joel fics i read and there's something about it that just . . . feels right, feels natural to Joel. there's a raw honesty to both joel and the reader that just sunk into my chest. the back and forth over the drink, the SMUT, everything is just this beautiful snapshot of two lonely people in the apocalypse.
oct' 19 x ghosts by @trulybetty another author that if i tried to choose a favorite, i simply couldn't. betty created a lovely, lovely world with this one (and the rest of the prompts for this one and her december prompts). i love fics that add a new layer to dieter and this one opened him up in a way that made him glow!
renegade by @eupheme my personal favorite brand of joel is one that comes alive between reader's thighs. more boulder than human until you bring something to the surface. and this totally captures that. im a sucker for a good qz fuck-that-verges-on-love and i adore everything about it.
Dominica by @ohforficsake if you ever need proof that notes do not reflect the quality of a fic, look no further. the language, the mastery of tension, and beauty of these descriptions are one two punches that knock me on the ass. genuinely one of my favorite frankie fics of all time.
wanna bet? by @write-and-buried i debated putting this or her celestial navigation fic on this list, but this one just tickles me. i love it when authors throw in a confident, sex-obsessed dieter now and again and this makes me howl. and the DEBAUCHERY of the statue oh my god!
give it to me @sp00kymulderr okay now to be fair, this review is entirely biased. i genuinely love gideon and all that they bring to this fandom. plus, they let me scream about dieter and then sends me dieter pictures that make me scream even louder. this fic is SO important to me. dieter here is everything i need and want: hesitant, anxious, but so madly in love. if i could wake up in one single fic every day, it'd be this one.
stepwise by @the-scandalorian i joined this fandom through din and this has been, and always will be, one of my top favorites. the evolution of din from being touch averse to LUSTING after it, it kills me. it's a oneshot but so much is accomplished in such a short time. the writing here is simply superb.
salvatore by @devilmademewriteit i came for the premise, stayed for the smut, and continued for the banter. i go back to this one all the time for inspiration with my own writing and then i get sucked in and read the whole thing through -- twice. javi drives me absolutely wild in this.
a whole new can of worms by @hier--soir i accidentally read this out of order initially, but this was just reason for me to reread it from start to finish. fwb!joel can be really hit or miss for me, and primarily because this fic sets the standard. this feels like a real joel, a joel that has lost and found loved ones all through out his life and now in jackson, he can finally relearn what it means to be a lover. so good, so fun with the banter -- and the friggin' greenhouse scene -- woof!
telltale heart @astroboots i am a SUCKER for 'frankie fixes his life' fics and this is one of the best. there are consequences for his choices in colombia, one that almost has him lose his family, and the woman he loves. this a real, genuine struggle for two people to overcome a seemingly impossible challenge in their marriage. you know the phrase, love conquers all? yeah this is that fic.
brand you in the way it counts by @charnelhouse charnel was one of the first authors i read for the pedroverse -- and i mean i READ her. i read every single one of her fics at least twice and this one always sends me over the edge. it's such an inspiration to my own writing and i keep going back to her whole body of work to be reminded i can always improve my own writing
west by @radiowallet when people want to know why fanfic matters, i want to show them this fic. it is achingly beautiful and written with a loving and gentle hand. joel is a messy, broken man but still capable, still good, still wanting to find love in this and i adore everything about this. Oneshots can be more devastating than multichapters because they end and this is one of them that drags me back to it constantly.
And to that weird little dude out of Chile who has no idea how much light he brings to the world…
Much love, Taylor 🤍

WARNING: implied death
Everyone had surrounded the young boy in the suit that fit his stature. His eyes so bright and full of life as he stood in the middle of the crowd. He loved having everyone's eyes on him. His lips had moved rhythmically as each note, each lyric, dripped out of his mouth like honey.
With the last word he had sung, there was a pause. All the guests there had clapped and cheered. This was young Y/n's life, and he was used to it. It wasn't a big life or an important one, but it was his. As his mini concert had ended, Y/n stepped toward his mom playfully.
“How was that mama? Did I do the notes right?”
The young boy's mother stared down at him with a kind smile. She had picked up the boy to flaunt to her friends as they complimented him. She wasn't avoiding the question, just needed to show the young boy she held in her hands how much of an impact he had on everyone around him. The young boy was a charmer, there was no doubt about that fact in anyone's mind.
This was not intentional. Every time he had tugged at the heart stings of his audience, it was all unintentional. Y/n was oblivious to this all the time, and it left him in an ignorance that was sort of a blissful one. His mother and pulled him in front of her while she held him close.
"You did beautifully Y/n! Everyone was enchanted! Taken to the world as your melody played through your voice."
The little boy in her arms had sparkles in his eyes. He was so proud his mother thought so highly of him. He was only 7 years old, but people saw a great future in him. He was not of wealth or fame, not of big fame that is, and of moderate wealth. His family was having a small party with friends, and this was all just to get Y/n to sing his melody to the friends of his parents.
They sometimes used the boy as a way to brag or bring some praise to them, but it brought so much joy to see everyone enjoy his melodies and songs. His singing was not the only musical talent Y/n had.
The singing was only one of many acts he was going to do for the guests in front of him. He was very well versed in many musical instruments, but Y/n did have his favorites. Even though they were of cliché choices, Violin and Piano were his favorites.
They were the sweetest out of the most, and delicate. Much like the boy who played them. He never understood how someone could make these instruments sound so aggressive, but he always made them delicate and soft, even with the songs of an aggressive tone. It may be because the instrument matches that of who plays them.
Before the second act, Y/n went to go find his closest friend. It was the only other child who was invited, and this is because this child was polite and of a nature that matched that of grown-ups. But with Y/n the two acted as any child would.
Y/n had found his brown haired friend after a minute of searching. It took longer because he was stopped by all the guests he passed to get a picture with them or to talk to them. It was mostly chatter of asking if he remembered them, which he didn't most of the time.
"Haru-chan! I'm over here!"
The brown eyed child looked at her friend with a blank stare. Y/n had run up to her with a big hug and spun her around. The two had gone to school together, and they lived pretty close, even if Y/n lived in a small house.
Y/n was really fond of Haruhi, she had made him happy and stood by him when no one would. Even if the two were only 7, they were really close with each other. They had been friends since they were 3.
"Did you like my song?"
Haruhi had nodded slightly as a response before her gentle voice had spoke.
"Mhm, it seems everyone else did too. I do have a question."
Y/n perked up at the thought of Haruhi having a question for him. She rarely did because she had the little boy figured out so quickly. But one thing had stumped her about his character.
"Why do you sing?"
Y/n had giggled at the question, but not in a way of being mean. No, it was in a gentle, childlike way.
"Because my melodies bring everyone so much joy! After each note of a song, people seem to be smiling!"
After that, the two played with each other. They played pretend mostly. Y/n was always the prince and Haruhi the knight or someone that would protect the prince. She never liked the gender roles of being the princess, and she saw herself more of a protector.
Haruhi had made it her duty to be Y/n's protector in a way since he was so popular for his singing. But sadly, this would have been one of the last times he would have sung for a group of people.
……………………………………………………………………………………..
Stuck in a white hospital, with his dad, Y/n was sitting ideally. Curious as to why they were here. Was Y/n sick? He didn't feel sick. He hadn't realized his mother was not with them. Y/n was only 10, he was more focused on the thoughts of curiosity of the surroundings.
He also wondered why he was not in school. Right now, he would have been studying with Haruhi, and making her panic a bit with his lack of knowledge on some things.
The two had cared for each other as if they were siblings, and some thought their relationship would be deeper than what they showed. They were only children, however, and only ever saw each other as siblings. Y/n had tugged on his father's sleeve.
"Dad, why are we here? Do I need a check-up? Are you sick?"
His father seemed to be stuck in his own mind as to what to tell this innocent child of his. He had not realized how much this would hurt his father.
"Y/n, my sweetest child of mine. Your mother is very sick right now. They might need to keep her in the hospital."
His father looked away with sadness. Y/n's eyes were shocked. His mother sick? No, it couldn't be his mother. His mother wasn't sick. Y/n was stuck in a loop of denial.
This poor boy was so sucked into his thoughts that he didn't notice he buried his head in his father's sleeve, crying. Y/n's father only patted him on the head, joining his child in the crying.
"Not my momma! She's gonna get better, right? She'll be okay and come back right, papa?"
The boy's father did not answer, only bringing his child closer to him. The nurse at the reception desk looked at them both with sympathy in her eyes. She could only imagine what their future would be like.
A year passed and Y/n's dearest mother was not doing any better. Haruhi and Y/n had visited her as much as they could, and Y/n even sang her songs. But Haruhi had noticed that after each visit, her friend grew more and more timid. Y/n's mother was his lifeline, so of course he was lower than he was before. Y/n had always thanks Haruhi for joining and comforting him whenever he cried.
This week was especially hard because Y/n's mother was in a comatose state. Haruhi only ever had empathy for her friend during this time. She recalled the time when her own mother had died and all the time Y/n used to try to make her feel better.
All the songs he had sung for her. Y/n even joined Haruhi when she would pray to her mother. She greatly appreciated Y/n for this, and intended to do the same.
"She's not getting any better. No matter what song I sing, she never smiles at the end. Am I doing a bad job, Haru-chan?"
Haruhi felt a pang in her heart for the young boy she stared at. Even though his goal for singing was a sweet one, it was one of the worst. This is because even if one person did not smile at the end of one of Y/n's melodies, he would feel saddened.
"It's not your fault, Y/n. She's just really tired right now, and needs to rest. Come on, let's go get some ice cream. My dad said he could take us to the small shop you like so much."
Y/n cheered up at this for a bit, but it didn't cure his full sadness. He enjoyed his time with Haruhi and her father. He loved her dad, he always thought Ryoji was funny. He even liked his job and thought it was a cool job to have.
Ryoji counted Y/n as one of his own sons because of how much time the boy spent with the small family. And during the last year, Y/n's father had asked them to take care of him while he worked.
After the week had finished, Y/n got the dreaded news he never wanted. Y/n's mother had passed on, and the once joyous boy was solemn and sad. Haruhi tried her best to cheer the poor boy up, and it worked a couple of times, but never fully.
Y/n's father was always busy, so he was left either alone or in the care of Haruhi's father. It made Y/n sad because he desperately wanted his father to comfort him.
After another year had passed, Y/n's father decided to move to America. He wanted a fresh start and leaving the past of his dead wife. Y/n was apposed to this because he would be leaving his dearest friend behind. His father understood, but said that Y/n could visit whenever he wanted. They had said their goodbyes, and luckily Y/n had a means of still talking to Haruhi.
But after they had left for America, Y/n's melody had stopped. He still sang, but never for others. It was more for himself to remember his mom. He still played, but it was for his mother. Everything he did that involved music was for the remembrance of his mother.
After every song had ended, he would end up a teary mess. The tears had stopped happening a couple of years later, but the songs still left Y/n sad.
His father had signed Y/n up to become a singer prodigy, but Y/n refused. However, Y/n still did it. Y/n had become a mini celerity within his area, but it wasn't something he wanted. He only wanted the fame if his mother was there. But even with his melody dying out, it never did stop.
With high school nearing close for Y/n, his father had gotten a letter of recommendation from the Ouran school chairman himself. His father was reluctant to enroll his son, especially back in the area he had left behind. But Y/n's father had given him some thought and called Ryoji. They both agreed that Y/n could stay in the apartment next to them and that Y/n could return to his old home. Y/n's father told him about the news and right after he got it, Y/n bolted for the airport right away.
Y/n had made some decent money being the mini celerity he had become, but he was still considered of the lower class. So Y/n was left with a scholarship, but luckily enough was able to afford the uniform. Though when he arrived, Y/n was so focused on trying to prepare for school, he didn't get a chance to meet back up with Haruhi the way he wanted.
In fact, Y/n didn’t even realize he was moving in right next to Haruhi. This was a detail his father left out, but it wasn’t purposeful. He did say Ryoji would check up on Y/n, but nothing about Haruhi.
Little did Y/n know, he would see her. The first day of school at the new school he was going to attend. And he had opted out on wearing the uniform the first day.

tw: venting, suicidal ideation, talks of (specific) hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia
In the last few months, I discovered I am probably schizospec (initially I believed I had schizophrenia, but I am not certain which it is now) due to getting really bad paranoia from my job that was causing a lot of suicidal ideation.
But, I get a lot of worries about my symptoms not being "bad enough" or using the terms that are for an extremely disabling disorder and thereby minimizing it because I'm clearly not "that bad". And I think part of that is just because I feel like my symptoms that could be positive symptoms aren't terrible. I get visual hallucinations frequently but usually very mild, like pictures animating themselves (often characters looking around or at me) or things moving around that already exist in the world. Any hallucinations that are something completely new are usually very brief and not in the center of my vision (although this isn't always the case). Sometimes I hear noises like doors closing or faint talking, but I don't know if they're real or not. It can definitely trigger a lot of paranoia if I'm in the apartment alone. There's some things that might be delusions because they sound like the kinda things that delusions are often about. But, they feel real and the idea of acknowledging that, or someone telling me they are false is extremely distressing. Especially since they are pretty much the only things keeping me going. I.e. delusions of reference and grandiosity especially. I don't even know if my paranoia is bad enough to call it that. It feels real in the moment, everything does. But there's definitely times where I kinda know it's probably not true, but I still believe it anyway. Which makes me think they aren't properly delusions? I find that hallucinations are really only a problem when I'm already feeling really paranoid in which case they can become terrifying. But if I close my eyes, I just see the scary thing in my brain instead.
But then of course, how would I know if any of my thoughts and experiences are real? I wouldn't know, would I? Sometimes, I can ask someone else if an image is moving for them, but if it's something I haven't even considered could be false, how would I know?
I feel like the symptoms for schizophrenia and StPD describe me extremely well to varying degrees. I've never felt as seen as when I started reading a schizospec culture is blog. Several people who know me very well are certain I have schizophrenia.
The things that could be negative symptoms are really what impact me the most. Flat affect that I can kinda force to sound like I have emotions, but I rarely actually have any emotions at all. Anhedonia, avolition, and apathy affect me a lot. I can't even perceive or begin to care about my future or what happens to me. I have no motivation to do anything. I struggle to find joy in most things, most of the time, even things that previously did. I can't bring myself to care about finding another job.
I can't recognize faces. I'm always dissociated and derealized since I was like 20ish. My memory is terrible. I'm in my mid-20s and a lot of these things, especially hallucinations have gotten exponentially worse the past year or two. I'm not even the same person who was running this body a few months ago. She died and now I'm in control, having to deal with the same problems, but with so few memories to even go on for our past.
But, I can't help but not know if I'm even schizospec or if I'm wrong about everything. I don't know if what I have is "bad enough" or if it's caused by any number of other disorders I have. I don't want to diminish how bad psychosis is. I know that a lot of people who experience derealization think they are experiencing psychosis.
I'm sorry for the rant. I just feel so lost and I don't know if you might have any tips or advice or resources on how to know any of this? I get a professional could be helpful, but I don't want a diagnosis due to the stigma that can cause and I don't want anti-psychotics, because I don't want to find out that anything that keeps me going is false and because of the potential long-term side effects. I also have trauma from being gaslit by therapists, so I am very hesitant to try again and be hurt again.
I'm really sorry you are going through this and feeling like it's still not enough. Your struggles are valid, your fears are enough. The idea that you have to wait until you get to rock bottom to get help is a myth. Also psychosis and schizophrenia are both vast spectrums, so many people with different experiences fall under the umbrella, even if it is considered mild or "not as bad as other people". I felt the same way when my psychosis started creeping in, but it was bad enough all along. I wish I could have gotten help before I had to experience rock bottom. It's never the wrong time to get help, and you deserve it. And from what I've experienced and heard from other people, therapists typically do take psychotic symptoms pretty seriously, especially in adult patients.
Getting professional help can really be worth it, but it does depend on your situation. You will probably be asked things like "do your symptoms impact your daily life?" And "are your symptoms distressing?" And "how frequently do your symptoms occur?" These are all the typical questions when it comes to just about any diagnosis of mental illness, and they are important things to consider and reflect upon, and maybe even keep a journal of if you experience memory issues. And you can use your thoughts on these questions to see if professional help is worth seeking for you.
Psychotic symptoms are most often treated with antipsychotics, and if successful, those will diminish or eliminate the psychotic symptoms, the good, bad and neutral ones. And they also come with side effects, and it will be up to you and your prescriber to see if the pros of less or no psychotic symptoms outweigh the cons of the side effects. Treating psychosis does feel like a tight rope walk in many ways, and it may take months or years to find the right med for you, and even then some people will end up resistant to any medication. But in my experience, getting on antipsychotics was the right choice for me, and improved my quality of life as a whole. And even the delusions and hallucinations that I did enjoy ended up being worth losing in the end, because I have found meaning and self worth in other ways over time.
And if it turns out your symptoms are more related to a dissociative disorder, there are treatment methods for that too. Typically intensive therapy like EMDR, which has its own pros and cons. That would also be worth looking into, to see if the benefits would be worth the trouble for you personally. I have schizophrenia and a dissociative disorder so I have had both types of treatment. For me, the trauma therapy was worth it in the end, it was a lot of hard emotional work for a few months that paid off significantly for years after.
Also having delusions and believing them fully while also knowing they are delusions is a real thing and pretty common! It's called double book-keeping. The term was coined by the same guy that came up with the name "schizophrenia" to begin with, so it has been a known part of psychosis for a long time. You can look up "double book-keeping in schizophrenia" to learn more about it.
I can't help you with figuring out exactly what is going on, but if it is bothering you, it is definitely worth looking into getting help for. Psychotic and dissociative symptoms are both things that you can't fix for yourself at home unfortunately. You can try things to calm your emotional reaction to them (and I encourage that just in general with whatever self care works for you), but to work on treating the root causes of the issues you may need to seek outside help.

I hope Garry knows if there was an empty night sky with only one shining star that star would most likely be him and if I’d ever metaphorically give my nose to anyone, it would be him. All in the will. Burn the body (other than the nose that’s for Garry) if the vamps are hangry they can have the last of my blood. I also have bought several homes for him (Garry) to have in the future, I became a certified property owner and real estate expert for Garry and the munches. I also bought jojo a little hobbit hole next to the Munch’s residence. Lucas and Max have a cozy apartment and I’m funding Wolfgang’s finding myself journey. If they don’t live in it it’s okay it’s fine they can rent it out, I bought the whole complex if that helps any. I will be hiding in a bush if gunther and Lilith at some point renew their vows.
I can always count on Garry to be either hanging from the ceiling by talons he’s suddenly grown or swinging off of some light fixture and if he is in someone’s grasp he’s either in his own world, growing teeth/gum to skin or being held up by a most likely flailing limb. I feel like Lilith could do acrobats with him in one hand, like casual conversation no pause no acknowledgement and keep a hold of him while he’s just wilding and having fun. He’s probably a goblin or a little flying chipmunk or squirrel in one’s purest form. He has seen wonders beyond comprehension living in that household and I can only applaud him.
Also, I will wait patiently for Lucas and Max’s return. Once that time comes I’m sure I’ll suddenly learn how to properly and consistently with great skill and eagerness, do roly polys. No I can’t do it at the moment and I don’t think I have any real interest in those sorts of sports and expertise but this whole family makes me feel like seeing max and Lucas’ being in that moment when the time comes in real time. Finally, runs around so happy for them, I will suddenly wake up knowing how to do a roly poly and probably my life will just feel better in general with the knowledge of seeing them connect and grow. No matter what path they take, I just want them to heal and come to be happier and happier. I love the both of them so much and I truly wish the best for Wolfgang and everyone else too.
I hope you have a wonderful break I’m sure this is creatively fulfilling for you and a passion project it goes without saying hopefully but thank you for sharing it. Your love for these characters these people basically at heart is amazing, heart warming and seeing a new post from you is always a little box of care, dedication and magic, they’ve brought many people together I’m sure thanks to your effort in making what you post a reality and I truly thank you for existing, that goes for anyone in the world but I hope this just is a reminder I don’t know how to say it the most accurately but thank you for the munch story for what you share of yourself in general and I hope life’s treating you well. If not I hope you feel better soon.
If this even gets seen by you or anyone else, embarrassing truly I wanna run into a wall cartoon style fall to the ground due to impact, bounce right off of u will, this to the floor, comical hanging tongue out of mouth x’s over eyes u get the picture.
I feel so much passion for someone else’s page/story, maybe it’s the autism speaking but I can’t imagine not being able to atleast recognise the amount and degree of care and passion you put into the munchs/whatever else you may post and feeling genuinely glad and happy to see someone sharing and bringing something of themselves to life with such adoration & attention. I feel like a lot of people feel quite strongly about the munch story regardless of being neurodivergent or whatever their background/certain aspects, but in my case, being autistic myself, something that obviously affects my experience of the world, coming across and delving into the munchs and seeing such joy and drive and visceral love that I always feel alone in, in the community in general but especially the part that uses the sims to tell their stories, has been amazing and made me so grateful for being able to see what you and others share. It makes me want to go on and on which I can and do e.g, but the difference being I feel like I’m seeing possibility and gaining an understanding that I can see and find people similarly interested in storys and lives fictional or otherwise. Being diagnosed recently, it’s made this all fit together in my brain more easily why I felt so drawn to story tellers here lol. Being a lover of story telling, literature, thank you for existing and simply letting others see and be immersed with you. This isn’t my first time on anon here yikes and sorry, I can’t do a tldr for something this long fuck but Thankyou. Rest up! 💕🤞🏼
Lucas and Max poster in my hallway !!
Sorry if this is a lot it’s a bit of personal anecdote I hope I don’t make you or anyone feel inconvenienced or like hurt, the munch’s have always meant a lot and with this new step forward and newer revelations in my life they only seem to grow fonder to me. Peace and love, I hope everyone’s trying to treat themselves more kindly
i ADORE to hear your thoughts always !! and YEAH spins you around really fast yeaheyaheyaheya love the mutual understanding here. glad we are all on the same levels of sickness over them

Buddy Daddies interview with Kino Hina
Interview with Kino Hina (voice actor for Unasaka Miri)
Interviewer: When you first saw the character design, description, and other information about Unasaka Miri, what impression did you have?
Kino: The first time I received and read the script for episode 1 was at the audition. In the script, a 4-year-old girl turned up in the middle of an intense gunfight - I remember it was quite the shocking encounter. As for the character design, it ranged from a natural smiling face to more comical looks; I thought it was very expressive. "I might have to give a more exaggerated performance, if I'm going to live up to these faces...!" I thought, and let my imagination run away with me.
Interviewer: Now that you've actually acted as Miri, what do you think makes her appealing and interesting?
Kino: Plenty of people with actual parenting experience were involved in the series production, and so Miri's speech and behaviour are very close to those of a real child. Everyone is continuously at the mercy of her unpredictable actions and dialogue, and I think that's her charm. They all get jerked around big-time! But the way she's so straightforward and earnest about everything makes it endearing. I really enjoyed giving such a free and unrestrained performance!
Interviewer: Miri is the only source of solace in this hard-boiled world, and singlehandedly brings all the coziness to the series. When acting as her, was there anything you kept in mind?
Kino: Ever since the audition, I was directed to give a realistic portrayal, without the sort of theatrical exaggeration that is usually used when playing a small child. I was very conscious of this the whole time I was acting. And so, in the recording sessions, I constantly aimed to let the words slip out without thinking about them, but it was really difficult. During the practice takes, I figured that since she was a child, I would try letting the emotions run wild without worrying about my volume, but I was directed to cut back on that a little. The series alternates between serious scenes and cozy scenes, and I recorded almost all my scenes together with Toyonaga-san and Uchiyama-san; their acting really drew me in and made every scene a delight to perform.
Interviewer: Please tell us your impressions of Kurusu Kazuki and Suwa Rei, and what you find appealing about each of them.
Kino: Kazuki is a cheerful man of the world. But deep in his heart, he also harbours lingering scars from his past, and so he's a character who flees from love. Rei lacks energy and doesn't really know how to smile, but he's a highly skilled assassin; due to his childhood and upbringing, he's a character who still doesn't know what love is. I really love those scenes where they're talking not as assassins, and not in front of Miri - those occasional conversations where you can glimpse both of their true selves. The "I won't ask" "I wouldn't tell" scene, and the "For three…?" "For three" scene - those scenes so meticulously show their emotional development and growth as the story progresses. They're a must-see.
Interviewer: From the episodes that have aired so far, are there any scenes that left an impression on you, or that you're especially fond of?
Kino: The episode 1 scene where Kazuki becomes Papa Kazuki - "I'm your papa!" - and the episode 3 scene where Rei becomes Papa Rei - "I am... her papa." - were both incredibly memorable. When we were recording the lines for both of those scenes, actually hearing those words was much more impactful than I'd imagined. I felt myself getting goosebumps from sheer joy. My favourite scene is from episode 5, when Miri and Kyu-chan (Kugi Kyutaro) split into one group, and Kazuki and Rei into another. Kyu-chan has been shrouded in mystery until that point, but he unexpectedly ends up watching over Miri, and when she asks about their jobs, Kyu-chan tells her in his usual tone that Kazuki and Rei are a comedian and an oil baron. Those fake jobs are so unexpected, it really lightens the mood. And I love the scenes where Kazuki is in a tricky situation and getting even more worked-up than usual; I always giggle to myself when watching them. Oh, and I also adore the scenes where Rei makes his deadpan quips; when we were recording, there were so many times I had to hold in my laughter, thinking, "That's how you're delivering it?! Brilliant!"
Interviewer: Please tell us what you think are the selling points of this series "Buddy Daddies".
Kino: The interactions at the government office, the conversations when preparing to enrol in daycare, Miri throwing a tantrum and yelling "I'm boooored~!" as she kicks the car seat - all those are realistic elements that aren't featured in other stories. But at the same time, there are plenty of heavily fictional aspects; the fact that you can enjoy both these things makes it a very captivating series. The story blends realism, comedy, and serious drama, and moves along at a fast pace; I feel like every episode goes by in the blink of an eye. Besides Kazuki, Rei, and Miri, the other characters are really charming, and will be important in future. There are many characters I'd like you to look out for, but personally, I love Anna-sensei and Miri's friends, so I hope you enjoy what happens at the daycare!
Interviewer: Finally, please give a message to everyone who is enjoying this series.
Kino: Thank you so much for watching "Buddy Daddies"! No matter whether watching it makes you nostalgic for your own childhood days, or you're currently raising a child, or you're thinking your own parents must have had a really tough time. I think this is a series that can be enjoyed by a wide variety of people, all with their own different perspectives. Acting as Miri has brought up a lot of events from my own childhood that I'd totally forgotten. Since it's an original series, there's no way to know what will unfold from now on; please do keep watching to the end!
