I love Emma and Rhaenyra's character could have been so interesting if it was not framed as the character you should be rooting for "just because". Her narrative as a rightful ruler of Westeros is skewed and uninteresting because everything was handed to Rhaenyra on a silver platter.

I ADORE the greens because they are fighting tooth and nail with themselves, their imperfections, their outside influences, society's norms, pressures from centuries of indoctrination, and others' manipulation. Rhaenyra is fighting against what exactly? She would be more interesting to me if she was more flawed like you said, more eager to go out there and claim her rights, and less keen on being miss-goody-two-shoes for the viewers. Daemon is interesting because precisely he is so evil and horrible.

I also did not cry at all at this episode which is a shame because B&C is one of the worst, if not THE WORST event that GRRM has ever written and we got a minute of some reimagination of it. I wasn't at all pleased with how the writers and producers treated it and I was so disappointed at how they portrayed Helaena and did not give way to her grief and suffering. Let's see if they do so in episode 2.

TB are definitely not the Starks, and I'm glad the show does a poor job with TB's revered and immaculate portrayal because it would upset me if they tried to replace or replicate the Starks.

I'm also extremely intrigued by Alicent, Aegon, Aemond, Helaena, Otto, Larys, and Criston, and they are the main reason I will be watching S2 this summer.

Vi and Jinx’s story is literally so tragic and I don’t think enough people talk abt it. Like 2 sisters who both have severe trauma and pressure on them at a young age (heavy on pressure for Vi) who also lost their parents in a war. Now they’re fighting on the opposite sides of one, and are “enemies”?? That shit is so tragic bruh😭

these sisters underrated in their own show bro LMAO there are so many layers to vi and jinx's tragedy. they're both victims of their circumstances. external forces physically and emotionally drove them apart. in a sense, both sisters are stuck in the past (at least in season 1) and they're having trouble finding a way forward. someone made a comment about how, as much as the audience wants and knows that vi and jinx can resolve their conflict, it also feels impossible, and that hurts.

vi's parentification is particularly sad to me, especially since it transcends the show. and by this, i mean her parentification puts a lot of pressure (and a lot of the blame) on her, not only in the show, but also by the fan base.

i think people often forget that vi and jinx lost the same people, they are both painfully familiar with loss and share their trauma, but they can't understand each other because they both changed in drastically different ways from it. the lack of focus on vi and jinx from the fan base saddens me, because their story is complicated, it's sad, but it's also, in some ways, rooted in love. i agree that they aren't talked enough about, i wish there was more fan art and fan fics with them, but hey, it is what it is right?

Well, new matching tattoos because they already had done it the last month. Yn sporting the number 47 just behind her ear, and Mick sporting a small shoe in the same location.

Mick nods to Gina, "Yeah, it'll look good," he grins at Yn who playfully rolls her eyes, trying to keep the anticipation of kissing her own handwriting on his neck.

"Your is gonna be in your neck as well?" Lewis asks his sister, but Yn shakes her head.

"Mine will be on my wrist," she turns it up, pointing to the exact place with the pen in her hands.

Mick grabs a pen, writing "Schatzi" in it a couple times, before showing Yn, "Is this a good size?"

Gina and Lewis shared a look finally understanding what their baby siblings were doing. Gina has a grin bigger than her face, and Lewis just chuckles watching the whole scene unfold. He's happy for Yn, though he'll definitely talk with Mick again, just for a measure, because now the German has two marks on his baby sister, two tattoos when he only has one with her.

The artist starts to explain the whole procedure even though they were there just a few weeks back. Mick and Yn are sitting side by side and nod along. They're holding hands, keeping them laced while Mick gets his tattoo. He makes some faces at Yn and holds back the laughter when she winces for him in a particular spot. It doesn't take long. It's a fairly small tattoo, "mouse" in cursive letters. Her nickname for him. The silly little name she's been calling him even before they got together. When it's her turn, things are almost the same. Gina and Lewis from the back filming and joking, and Mick and Yn holding hands.

Mick bends to capture her lips in a quick kiss when she whines about how the first S is hurting. It's in capital letters, and it's his handwriting. He feels a surge of pride watching the drawing getting form. Yn is distracted enough by his kisses and whispers to whine again. And when it's finished they're both smiling at the other.

"This looks so cool," Yn gazes at Mick's neck, his new tattoo covered by a thin layer of protector foil.

"Well, we are done with tattoos for a long while now, yeah?" Lewis quirks his brows, clearly joking with the couple. Yn shows him her tongue, and Mick just shrugs, both silently hiding the fact that they're are already having new ideas.

Yn's body was his temple, and Mick was a feverish devotee. She was his queen, and he was her proud subject. Of course, he would have her eternalized on his skin in a way that everyone could see.

You know how dsmp Foolish was only a devout follower of XD because he thought he could replace him? Because I didn’t. I just knew about him working for the federation in order to rise through the ranks and “own the fish store.” And replace cururucho.

I'm a decent chunk less knowledgable on c!foolish than I am qfoosh but if this is true its yet another fascinating similarity between the two of them, id love to see some clips if you have any! Reading through cfoolish analysis and rewatching older vods and clips im struck with a strong sense of familiarity with the more recent qfoolish, and with the scattered lore hints between them lining up so well it creates an almost uncanny sense of continuity.

Whether they're completely separate characters or not i feel that these two characters have the same core. They still undoubtedly have their differences but they almost feel like different spins on the same concept, or an initial concept further developed and refined which only makes it so much more interesting to dissect where they diverge, and then despite their unique situations and histories where they overlap. Does every iteration of foolish make the same decisions and subsequent mistakes? does he hunt for power? does he love? will he always be alone? The ways in which their individual worlds and storylines have shaped them, or on a more meta level what kind of story did ccfoolish himself want to tell. I think it's pretty cool to think about at least
