I just imagine Skybound!Skyfire listening to audio media like podcasts, audiobooks and music to help past the time whenever Reader can't visit. They decide to bring it over one day in hopes of making him feel better. Reader helps keep Skyfire's hope strong that things will improve despite all the bad times.

He would LOVE a good album! I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure the Skybound comics take place in the 80's, so you could definitely bring him books and albums on tape from the library or your own personal collection. He's pretty curious about the different types of media that exist on your planet, so he'd want to hear a wide variety of music.

Also, he'd be hard-pressed to admit it (only because he doesn't want to inconvenience you further) but he does actually prefer your reading voice to the average book on tape. But they're a nice alternative when you're particularly busy, mainly because Cliffjumper's digits are just small enough that he can flip the tape for Jetfire without damaging the tape player. That way he doesn't have to wait until you, Spike, or Carly are available to hear the rest of his book.

Pre-war Cybertron is WORSE in the comics. You thought Sentinel was bad?? now add a whole COUNCIL of bots literally disfiguring other bots and doing wholeass bill cipher level of mind/memory-fckery to others to further their own goals(im not even joking)
