people’s reaction to elon shmuk saluting the great dumb heil is… disappointing, i guess. I’m not surprised, i’m not angry, i’m not horrified, but i also didn’t expect this or predict this. It’s just sad and pathetic to watch.

like at least a large part of nazi germany loudly agreed with fascism with their full chest, spine straight. All elon’s little groupies can do is pretend it’s not real. Deny. Throw out some bullshit excuses literally everyone can see through. Shit that folds like a wet paper towel. ‘Roman salute’?? ‘He’s throwing his love’??? ‘He’s autistic and awkward’???? im gonna say something controversial. im not sure id like astarion that much if i didnt have the spoilers about where his character is going.

by which i mean, i dont think id want to romance him, i dont think id be very invested in him at the moment. he's still fun to talk to and have around (the conversation where he asks how your PC would want to be killed in the event of mind flayer transformation is fun), and id probably have him in my party all the time, so id warm up to him. but right now, where i am in the early game story, he's just... not as compelling to me as what a couple of the other companions have going on

So I never realised that Solas had purple eyes until VG so by making my Rook be a tanned redhead elf with 1 green eye and 1 purple, i have accidentally made her look like the lovechild of my lavellan(tanned redhead with green eyes) and solas

does anyone know the possible reason why blaze is a cat in terms of how that’s connected to sonic being a hedgehog? like i’ve seen a post saying that tails and marine are both possibly based on creatures in japanese folklore n that’s their similarity, but i can’t figure out what obvious common link a hedgehog and a cat have?

Personally I think the little phenomenon w/ Johnny Whitney writing a just genuinely sort of devastating song once per every record or so (or twice! take, well, Take Me to the Sea 4 example. actually three times maybe. talking about specifically georgia + my organ sounds like… here and also bonetrees and a broken heart a little. also also As Brass And Satin just feels utterly melancholic in its near entirety) is that he just wakes up face down covered in blood in the studio, his own or someone else’s he can’t tell, shaking and grasping some shoddily scrawled out lyrics on a rlly very old piece of paper. The rest of the band might be like “johnny what the fuck happened” and he just springs 2 his feet like “oh haha nothing :> im fine don’t worry. nothing happened!!!!!!! anyways i have this cool new idea 4 a song wanna hear” and any time anyone tries 2 ask about it he immediately dodges the question and moves on2 a diff topic. He can explain what it’s about, but any time someone asks about the inspiration he gets nervous and is like “ohhh ummm. I 4got! t<chno would come in to some destruction and stare at schl^tt, no conversation for him to get around it. just the stabbing peer of true betrayal.

just that look, the first clear “I really thought you were good” that hurts schl^tt.

and he pulls him in— probably by that stupid fucking rosary, the beads tantalizing since the day schl^tt woke up in the pew —and just kisses him. because then t<chno can’t actually figure out he’s responsible (or at least can’t say it). schl^tt wrenches his eyes shut, hoping t<chno does the same eventually. hoping he’s hiding his bruised hands, the blood under his nails and on his face.

not knowing t<chno watches him, half in confusion half in some sense of admiration. unsure why that adds up to anger for a god he’s learned he wants to leave.

anger because schl^tt can leave eventually and t<chno spent his whole life creating the bond his father taught him until he was stuck in a rundown church, alone for six days of the week, even forced to welcome snakes like schl^tt
