How Can You Help Me, Stardust?:

It's the battle theme during a Secret Ending fight, and an interesting genre-swap/remix of How Can I Help You, Stardust? Your character (Siffrin) fights his ally and guide through the time loops he's been stuck in. Its so intense and fast paced compared to the tone for the rest of the game's ending and really emphasizes the absolute stress and despair that being in a timeloop will cause.

I was giffing this scene for a set I'm working on and I just can't get over it. They're not even an official thing yet here but Carlos touches TK like they are. The way he has his hand on TK's bicep, thumb slowly moving over it with a soft, soothing touch. He runs his hand over his forehead, petting his hair back and touching him so gently and with so much love. I can't get over the soft way he touches TK, how you can see all of the love that this man has for TK and they're not even together. He's just so ready to love and make TK happy.

I know that we've been told that Carlos knew right from the beginning that he was going to marry TK, but I don't know, seeing it hits so hard. This man, this beautiful, wonderful man had so much love right from the beginning. He was bursting with it, just waiting for someone to come along and take the love that he was so willing to give. And then came TK, broken from a proposal to someone he thought he was his soulmate, an empty vase waiting to be filled with the love that Carlos had to give but he was so scared of accepting that love, of letting Carlos close because he's been down that path before and he isn't sure he can survive it again.

And then, then I was thinking about this part:

and how angry Carlos was sitting there because he couldn't touch TK without it feeling wrong because they're not together and he doesn't know if TK would welcome his touch. Before, when they were talking and doing the "are we or aren't we" he was more than willing to touch TK, to give him soft touches and comfort him even though TK couldn't feel him or wouldn't know because it was safe in a way it wouldn't be in Push.

And he's angry about it. He's angry that TK left him, of course he is, but he's also angry about not being able to touch him and give him the comfort that Carlos so desperately wants to give him.

“I’m so mad at you right now. And the worst part about this is, if this is goodbye, I can’t even hold your hand or run my fingers through your hair, or kiss your head.”

That line gets me every single time and deserves to be in this post because it's powerful.

Maybe I'm reading into it wrong, or just seeing what I want to see but I just find it really interesting. In season one (the first gif) they're in that limbo, they're not any official thing but Carlos sees no reason that he can't touch TK, to provide him soft comfort while he's in the hospital. But in season three, when they're broken up and not together, he can't because he doesn't know if his touch would be welcomed (even though we learn TK does welcome Carlos' touch, desperately so because of how he clings to him when he wakes up).

And like, I know the times are different one happens before they're dating and one happens after their dating but idk. I'm in my feels.

The character shift from season one to season three is incredible.

Once Carlos knows what it's like for TK to let him in, to let him love him, to let him feel his empty vase, he can't bring himself to cross that line of uncertainty. Of course, we know that TK welcomes Carlos' touch, desperately so by the way that he clings to him. But Carlos doesn't know that.

Sure, he didn't know how TK would react in season 1 to him being by his bed side and holding him. But now, now that Carlos has held TK and knows him and knows what it's like to to have TK, he can't bring himself to touch him.

Carlos has always has always had so much love for TK, right from the beginning and that's beautiful.

the music also indicates a negative self perception, seeing herself as analogous to chaos and disarray esp in recent works. her two mentions of "twin flames" have been in self destructive situations

Gargoyles Star Trek Crossover

So the wonderful friend of mine commissioned me to do a Star Trek Gargoyles Crossover piece. Which for those not in the know, A LOT of Star Trek actors are in Gargoyles. Marina Sirtis who plays Deanna Troi in star trek Plays Demona in Gargoyles and Jonathan Frakes who plays William T. Riker Plays David Xanatos Who and both are antagonist in Gargoyles...which is fun to me.  Anyway! I was asked to draw Xanatos and Demona in their respective actors star fleet uniforms because it's a fun idea and I love the fun. Had to use the uniform from the earlier seasons on Demona cause fun fact...pants don't work on gargoyle bodies. I did try to do a version with shorts and my star trek brain was going "No this is wrong just do the dress option she wore!" Also Also Points to me being able to draw my girl Demona and it looks really nice, who knew my eons of being a fan of this series would help me draw her well...huh wonder if I could draw more Gargoyle stuff I could draw Goliath (* -ω-) Okay focus on the commission now, draw Goliath later...if you remember. Oh this background is gonna be...fun...we all know how I do backgrounds, its either gonna look great or I am gonna hate it. -deep breath- I can do this, I believe in me.
