Darkrai x Dusknoir but make it Pokepark
Two guys living their life at Dusknoir's Speed Slam. One has multiple issues of self doubt and will soon cause the apocalypse on accident, while the other's just a normal guy :) Had to doodle something for this by @ghostbreadovni.

Do Venus and Nova ever encounter Darkrai again? If so, how does that turn out?
They do! Venus goes off on her own after getting healed by Cresselia. Pretty much everyone in the guild went off to find Darkrai as a team, so it wasn't hard for her to sneak out with Cresselia being pretty much the only one watching her. She was able to find Darkrai first. At the very least, she's learned from last time not to try too hard to redeem him this time around.
She'd capture him in the end, but not before he uses her nightmares and insecurities to hurt her.
