My nap and sleep buddies hoshi and mr.teddy. They are the bestest snuggle buddies and sleep protectors and they helped me to feel better after my nap today.

Stuffies makes me feel so safe and comforted and I even have one that I carry around in my bag that pokes out of the side pocket lol.

I don’t know what Leif looks like, so I drew a leaf to represent them.

Leif chose their name after our partner commented that they always “shake like a leaf” when they front. Leif holds a lot of anxiety and has a hard time fronting but is starting to get a little more confident.

Oh, in case anyone was curious.

Since my most reblogged thing ever on this site is that story about my mom buying our system kid a stuffed rabbit and calling her ‘granddaughter’ (still blows me away LOL), she hasn’t stopped LOL. She includes her in almost every holiday, getting her coloring books and the like. This year she got her a present and named herself “Gima” on it or something similar (bad memory) and I have to assume that’d be her grandma name if we ever had kids. For some reason though, it was addressed to ‘Mollie’ lol! Molly is the name of one of our system members, sort of an older version of JJ, but I’m not sure where she got the name from and honestly, it’s so cute no one wants to correct it.

So now she has a Sofia the First coloring book and is super happy LOL. She also gets her cards and things.

Inktober DID Day 4: First Contact I was really stumped on what to draw for this one because I don't know what first contact was. I came in already knowing we are a system but with little to no communication. One of the first alters I started to interact with was Bean, but they were terrified constantly and had a hard time fronting. Our partner got them a giant plushie just for them to help Bean when they fronted. Bean loved it! They named their new friend Squisherella and started fronting more regularly to get to cuddle their new friend. In the weeks that followed, Bean started talking more when they were out, still with a tiny voice full of fear but over time they started talking a little louder and more confidently Now, Bean is an invaluable member of our system. When they front, they talk nonstop to our partner about anything and everything. They often are able to express things that are distressing other parts who aren't able to say it themselves. The struggles of having a little lol

JJ got to carve their first pumpkin today with their adopted dad. 

To preface this, we have sensory issues. JJ, being a curious ball of energy, usually ‘ignores’ this (as well as our screams and pleas) and dives first into anything she can get her hands on lol. So, they were carving out the pumpkin getting all the stuff out and JJ said “... Hm! This isn’t going fast enough!” None of us could stop her before she shoved her hand into the (small) pumpkin and started grabbing and clawing to get all the bits out. Omega, her dad, of course, found this hilarious because JJ afterward said “Ashley was mad!! She’s screaming at me! :D” Thankfully wasn’t that hard to get all of it off our hands, but yuuup lol. She was so happy with the outcome though. She named him George (because of course she did lol)
