WAOW that's a lotta new people following us huh ^^' Hiiiiiii welcome to our blog thanks for enjoying our hyperfixation moments ™️

Just a reminder + announcement for new followers, this is a personal blog first and foremost! Many of our drawings are of real people in our system, or are otherwise very personal to us!

We're very shy so for a long while we've tended to avoid talking about ourselves or posting any of our personal art, but then we remembered, oh right! That's the entire point of this blog!!! It's our space we do what we want lol (/lighthearted /silly)

We're still gonna engage in the fandoms associated with our various sources, and participate in fandoms in general! That's not changing! But we just ask that people be mindful when interacting with our art in general!!

No uncomfortable or suggestive comments, etc., don't tag our stuff as ship unless otherwise stated, etc. We may maintag some of our art of ourselves if we're particularly proud of it, but that does not mean we want to be treated like characters. Just be polite, respect our boundaries, and we'll be chill 👍

Tumblr is such a silly community, especially the DID/OSDD community. It’s still hard coming to terms with being a system and stuff but it’s soothing to see people be so supportive. 

My system mates have been super scared to front recently now a days because of being fake claimed to the point that our abuse got fake claimed so this like really helps them open up.

You know, a part of being normal about systems I think people overlook is being normal about alters that may be "darker" than what some are accustomed to.

Not all alters are cute anthros or down to Earth humans, and alters are not morally better just because you find them easier to digest.

Some of our systems have demons, monsters, or creatures you'd see in a horror movie. And guess what? They still have feelings, they still deserve love, and that doesn't make them morally bad or mean.

Being normal about systems means understanding an alter being a horror creature does not make them evil, it means understanding certain alters may have violent behavior as part of their lore but would never enact these things now that they're a part of a system, it means understanding what you view as "evil" isn't going to apply to a system (I'm looking at you people who are terrible about demon alters).

Actually, thinking about that one joke reblog that’s been queued since October...

 if I recall correctly, Marx himself queued it during the infamous week of “Jester frontstuck chaos” that resulted in our initial realization that we’re a system.

I remember he kind of filled our blogs with things related to his interests and/or art of his memories that week, just a sudden onslaught of jesteryness and other nonsense (affectionate) that I never would’ve said, that helped us realize there’s more than one here.

It’s nostalgic and surreal to think about.

Perhaps if Marx hadn’t been so open and eager to talk about what was going through his thoughts that week, perhaps there wouldn’t have been enough for me to look back on, compare with other experiences, and come to that epiphany.

We think about that a lot.

Inktober DID Day 10: Little

I don’t know what Leif looks like, so I drew a leaf to represent them.

Leif chose their name after our partner commented that they always “shake like a leaf” when they front. Leif holds a lot of anxiety and has a hard time fronting but is starting to get a little more confident.

Y’all we found this really awesome app. It’s called TwiNote. It’s basically like a whole replica of twitter, but completely controlled by you. I like it better than Mytter. It’s basically having your own social media for just your system.

Do you know anything about median systems? Would you consider them to be real? I'm not asking to start any kind of discourse, I'm just trying to get opinions from a variety of people who have DID/OSDD.

median systems? does that mean like,, facets that form a core being?

well i kinda have two members like that, Bernardo and Michael are people i wouldnt consider my alters because i dont really “switch” between then but shift , mostly Michael since he is, kinda like stronger in emotion than i am, like a designated sad trauma man

i do consider them “real” in the sense that ....the human mind is capable of Anything to cope with life, and even the most extense studies about DID/OSDD are limited in information about how it works.

though i kinda wonder sometimes if me being autistic has a factor in how my mind organizes it that way and how it also affects my DID? overall its kinda complicated, i hope it gets explored and discussed more in the future instead of “this and this cant be real because its not written in The Holy Book Of Mental Disorders”
