THERE YOU ARE!!! (rain world threat music intensifies)

I was in a very strong annihilate shift for the past few days straight and REALLY wanted to chase around small glowing shapes (like the boss fight in my canon but you know, less dangery).

Some friends were kind enough to offer their player shapes (and a funni little wisp that ISN'T macabre!!) for that purpose sdfghj (Torch belongs to @jsab-jubs and Upbeat and Captain belong to @krys-lil-corner)

Species Euphoria in Unexpected Places

Despite the fancy title, this isn't too much of a serious post so much as a ramble (with screenshots!)

As we recently said on our online game-oriented blog, @pixelzprince, we recently started playing a few roblox games, something we'd never thought we'd even try (and we'd like to thank our best friend for getting us to try roblox in the first place)-

After a few months of trying out various games, we decided to put some real time into one game that we discovered early on but had previously dismissed due to how difficult it was to progress in the game, Griffin's Destiny.

And giving it another chance was one of the best decisions we made. The game, while new, had a surprising amount of customization options; there wasn't all that much to do ingame, as it seems the game was meant more for roleplay, but its social aspect proved to be a strength in that, if a game is intended for roleplay, it of course has a huge, constantly growing selection of ways to set your player character apart.

It took a while, but we were eventually able to customize a character to resemble my kintype's Annihilate form.

We even managed to manipulate the accessories to give the illusion of six legs.

And shockingly, this creation, slightly inaccurate though it was.. still felt Right.

We had realized from the start that it would be nearly impossible to make it a perfect replica of Annihilate, and at that point, we added customization based on what felt right, what looked cool, what made us happy. It was a customization-based game, after all; no need to be 100% accurate to a period of my past life that was objectively full of bad memories.

And then we stumbled upon the poses menu, which allowed for a range of animated expressions and actions.

One of which being Aggression. The player avatar hisses and snaps its jaws, baring its fangs and looking like it wants to Use those fangs.

And, yeah. This idealized version of Annihilate looked nice, and felt Right, and felt more like me as a person than the twisted, animal version of myself that Annihilate actually was.

But this angry, snarling thing, this monster? That's me, too. And I think I'm finally starting to be okay with that.

This is actually a slightly older drawing that felt fitting to post now!! Marx used to feel.. Very Much Not Great about his soul form..

But he's pretty okay thinking about it now! Looking at stuff like the ending of Kirby Super Star, and the True Arena in Super Star Ultra, are just kind of hilarious to him now.

This was an interesting prompt response to draw! TK is RGkin, but they've barely ever gotten any solid memories or anything. Most of their feelings regarding their kintype and their source are just how they feel about the other characters.

Mostly guilt and affection, honestly. Especially towards Heart-

Not much to say about this one! It just looks cool!! Relating to the "Hindsight" prompt, however-

I DEFINITELY view my kintype as being "cool" just in comparison to a much more mundane, physically human life.

This one could probably fit under several prompts, so we'll probably draw a few things related to it!

I've known quite a few details about specifically the Final Boss/Annihilate fights for a long while now??? Literally had nightmares about it for years-

I remember chasing the hero shapes through the woods near the Tower, and that my vision as Annihilate was.. REALLY BAD, ACTUALLY??? Everything looked very faded out, and greens/purples blended together a lot. That only got worse as the fight continued.

The bright glow of the shapes was crystal clear, though.

Our first drawing for our Fallterhumanity Month Prompt List!!

To be honest, we actually drew this a little while ago, but seeing as we never posted it/it sort of fits the week one theme (Perception), we figured there'd be no better time to post it!!

After a long while of having conflicted feelings about our connection to JS&B (both in terms of my kintype and our overall fixation on the game), we're finally starting to see it as something more positive!

I'm an awesome, neon pink sondebeast, and that's a good thing!!

INTRODUCING FALL-TERHUMANITY MONTH!!!

We've always loved the idea of more specific October prompt lists, and after seeing a few otherkin or therian related ones going around, we decided to try to make our own!

This list is week-based instead of daily, allowing for as many works of art (drawings, writing, editing, crafts, music, anything!!) to be created per week as you want!

We tried to make the list able to be applied to any alterhuman/nonhuman experiences!

Each week has a broad main prompt, as well as several more specific, optional ideas that fall under a broad theme.

Memories come in many different forms, and can have profound impacts on your life now. Are they comforting or haunting, or something in between? Distinct and narrative, or brief flashes? Or, is there something special about your memories now that helped you realize your alterhumanity?

WEEK THREE - INSTINCTS (OCT 31 - NOV 6) Additional Ideas:

Chase Inconvenient Fear Automatic

How important are instincts to your identity, and how do they show themselves? Are there any situations in which they are useful, or inconvenient? Remember, instincts don't necessarily have to be "animal" in nature, either!

WEEK FOUR - HOME (NOV 7 - 13) Additional Ideas:

Nostalgic Affection Lonely Homesick

Think about what "home" means to you, and how that's changed overtime. How does your alterhumanity relate to that concept? Think of decorations, environments, sounds, whatever brings to mind "home"! Do you feel like where you are now counts as home, or are you longing for something missed, or yet to be? Is home a place, a feeling, certain people, or something else?

Feel free to interpret any of these prompts however you wish! Some prompts may relate easily to each other, so feel free to combine them! The important part is to express yourself, and have fun!

It's been a while!!! Trying to get back into posting here, so we're updating/fixing up some of our blogs!

@/m1lkyw4yw1sh3z is still our "personal" blog/secondary main of sorts, where we reblog things, from aesthetics we like, to our own art that we'd like to archive! All of our tags for things should still be up to date!
