I back. I miss this site. I wasn't getting small and now that I am it feels much safer an calmer to be on here than insta when I was bigish.

I started on a coloring book but I got to cranky and tired and I going to bed early.

Just a friendly reminder that if you are anti-blm, or associate yourself with “all lives matter”, or “blue lives matter”, fuck right off of my account and into the sun.

I haven’t addressed BLM here specifically because as a person of color, seeing everything going on and seeing it repeat literally at least every year, every few months or every other week is extremely stressful. I don’t like talking about it because it seems that every time a person of color tries to, they are met with vitriol from the racists, which makes saying anything at all 10x worse.

I will not continue to be silent. 

Every time I have seen a person of color speaking out about their own experience with racism, prejudice and/or discrimination, whether in the work place, in their day to day lives or even when it comes to being profiled, it’s always met with skepticism. I keep seeing the reaction of “stop trying to be a black oppressed victim”, “stop trying to make me feel guilty for being white”, among other statements. (For example, being told “racism/discrimination isn’t real because I’VE personally never seEn thAT hAPpEN”.) Just because you haven’t personally experienced or have seen something for yourself, Karen, that doesn’t make it any less real.  

If someone speaking out about their experience with racism, which is a very real and valid thing that happens, makes you feel insecure, then I’m sorry. But I won’t be the person to coddle you and say that “it’s okay to be white.” (Just like the straight pride march, where apparently, people felt the need to literally say, “being straight is okay.” (Because apparently PRIDE marches make them feel that being straight “isnt acceptable/okay anymore). 

I can’t explain how not only ironic this type of thinking is, but how sad it is.

DUH, there is nothing wrong with the color of ANYONE’s skin. Being in a position of privilege does not mean you can’t experience your own share of poverty, personal hardships or suffering. But what it DOES mean, is that you’ll probably never be profiled at a job for having natural hair (such as an afro), you’ll never have to grow up being called the n word (among other racial slurs), and it means you probably won’t grow up with having people constantly throw in your face how your entire race is “13% of the population and accounts for at least half of the crime so, statistically, you’re probably a criminal”. You’ll probably never be told to “go back to where you came from” just because you just so happen to be brown while having a  political opinion and you also most likely won’t have to deal with being told to give up your language and/or culture to be like others, especially if you are from another country. 

Everyone has different experiences. But there is a HUGE difference in how someone with light skin and how a person of color has to navigate through the world. Growing up, I always felt like I had to work 10x harder then everyone around me in order to disprove the “black and lazy” stereotype. Being a POC and a women, comes with more stigma because then you also have to deal with the “angry black lady” stereotype, and when it comes to relationships, there is a fine line between being actually loved for who you are and straight out being fetishized and overtly sexualized because of your race. 

If having to face that racism is real makes you uncomfortable, imagine how it must feel to those of us who have to live through it. Systematic racism is everywhere, there are multiple studies that even support that, especially when it comes to work place bias. For Christ’s sake, even researching the wage gap alone will show you that African American and Latina/Hispanic women especially, make much less then men, but even less then white women. 

Black Lives Matter does not mean that the lives of other people matters less. I keep seeing that a lot and the (wrongful) assumption has always bothered me. But a common analogy I’ve seen that will hopefully make sense to those of you, is that  if a house is on fire, you aren’t gonna call the fire department to spray down all the other houses on the street while the one ACTUALLY on fire, continues to burn. Police brutality in the person of color community has been going on for a LONG time. 

Do y’all remember history at all? 

It’s not a new thing that’s been happening but the sad fact of the matter is, so many of you will look away from the things that are happening to our community. How many more people will have to die on camera from excessive force before you realize like the rest of us, how unacceptable that is? And before any of you even dare try to say “well so-and-so was a criminal!”! Please think about your words. Last time I checked, we have a criminal justice system and that does not include smothering someone to death in broad daylight while knowing full well that force can kill them. Please stop finding an excuse to try and normalize violent behavior against POC. 

And before any of you racists come to my post, and try to say “what about black people killing black people!”, shut the fuck up with your dog-whistling. Stop taking attention away from an issue of brutality and racism. If you want to actually do something about race-on-race crime, I implore you to do so, but ironically none of you ever seem to care about this until a POC speaks out specifically about police brutality, discrimination/racism and hate crimes.

Finally finished our hidey hole for the tweens and littles in the system and even for myself and kit.

It was a group effort and it made me feel safe just putting the final touches on it last night. Still need to find the DVD player for if we want to color and watch cartoons.

My nap and sleep buddies hoshi and mr.teddy. They are the bestest snuggle buddies and sleep protectors and they helped me to feel better after my nap today.

Stuffies makes me feel so safe and comforted and I even have one that I carry around in my bag that pokes out of the side pocket lol.

Our bestie got us this otter. Isn't he the cutest?? We are still trying to figure out his name but we've narrowed it down to Ollie ,PB or otto

Its the weekend yay. What are you gonna do to take care of yous?? I bean sitting outside with oreo and getting kisses from the sunlight. Later papa is going to help me put up the birdhouse we gots cause it'll help me get outside more when its sunshiney.

I feel so sads today. I just wana bury myself under my blankets and have my stuffies hold on to mee. I hates when I gets a case of the sads cause even when I gets small like dis I just wana feel comforted n stuffs. I'm trying to stay Big and not slide down cause I gots Big stuffs todo an I been so whiny an just ugh I feel vulnerable.

I'm sitting outside in the sunshine hoping to feel better an cheer myself up. An papa says I gota try hard to stay Big sometimes when we got stuff todo but sometimes I can't just stop it and I wish people understood that when someone especially a system with sliders or littles or xyz we are that age. Being a slider is rough cause I'm always half regressed wether I realize it or not. An I dunno where this is going.. I sorreys

Just a sleepy small one.. its been a busy day of having to be hooked up and having to record my seizures. It looks like I gotta funny hat on but papa is with me and I gotta have it on til Friday.
