She's said she isn't interested, she's told him she's a lesbian, and she's about to take him into an alleyway to shove a switchblade into his gonads, when the utter wankstain of a human being utters the infamous line, "but you just haven't found the right dick yet, baby. Nik slaps the bar and stands up to his full height. "Da, comrade." He knocks back the last swig of his vodka. "You are my type, but straight, no? Let me take you home and we can test your theory. I require extra large," he gestures at his crotch, "and you will require a lot of preparation; however, I am sure you will never want a woman ever again when I am done."

Nik leads with his hips, hands open, and he's in the bloke's space just as he had been with Syd, all six foot billion of him, with shoulders that claim the Tibetan Plateau as a close relative and a chest you could disappear into. Mr. Right Dick looks horrified and Syd can see him calculating whether or not he would win the brawl. He makes a wise choice and scarpers.

Syd hisses at Nik. "I had it covered."

"Da," Nik says as he slumps unsteadily into his stool and waves the barman over. "Do not begrudge an old man his entertainment."

"I require extra large... Fuck, Nik," she snorts into her Martini.

Nik shrugs and hands over his credit card to pay. "I find honesty is always the best policy when propositioning a person."

Syd shakes her head and then clinks the shot of tequila he passes to her against his. "To the boss."

He inclines his head and knocks the shot back with a grimace. Alejandro is wrong. Tequila is disgusting.

You and Emily entered the house one after the other. As soon as the door shut behind you, you could hear the soft footsteps of your daughter running towards you.

"Mommy!" She yelled.

Behind the little girl, was the nanny, following her with a guilty expression.

"I am so sorry, she would not go to sleep." She apologized, watching as you picked her up with a wide smile.

"It's okay, I know she can be stubborn." You responded, your voice soft from the long day as you cooed your daughter.

"Okay. Well, have a nice night." The nanny smiled, grabbing her coat and walking out the door.

"You must be tired, huh?" Emily smiled, kissing the small child's face.

"Nuh uh.." The young girl shook her head, clearly fighting it off.

You smiled at her response, setting her down on her feet to watch her race after Emily that was walking towards the bedroom.

You removed your coat and shoes before emptying your pockets on the table the hallway provided, walking towards the bedroom to change.

As soon as you entered you spotted Emily and your daughter curled up next to each other in the middle of the bed. You smiled at the sight, deciding changing can wait.

You crawled into the bed, spooning Emily from behind.

The feeling of being safe and protected washing over you like an ocean wave. And just the thought of nothing being able to compare to this, made you smile in the comfort of the tight embrace you had on Emily.
