Max: I really wanted to have five girlfriends.
Safi: ...You already have four girlfriends?
Max: I do, yeah, but I wanted five. I think that would be even better. Think about it, five girlfriends. That's better. You know what I'm saying, Safi?

Regardless of what some think about Life is Strange: Double Exposure, its undeniable that Hannah Telle once again proved to the damn world that nobody else can play Max Caulfield better than her.
She has deservedly been nominated in the "Best Performance" category at the Game Awards.

Let's see if the fandom at least agrees that Hannah Telle deserves an award that recognizes her acting talents. And hopefully she'll land more (voice) acting gigs.
Link to vote for Hannah Telle is included below:

First chapter of my ChasePriceMarshField Werewolf fic, Blue Moon, has just been posted!
Back in the saddle
So, due to a host of outright horrible events that I went through, I wound up discarding the previous Life Is Strange Fanfiction I was working on in order to better focus on my mental health. While I am still recovering from a series of severe mental breakdowns, I have healed to the point that I feel ready to start writing again.
The process is going to be molasses slow thanks to my still healing psyche, but I wanted to post the titles along with a brief bit about said stories, as a way of self motivation.
Links will be added once I start putting chapters up on AO3.
The Last Temptation of Jacob Marsh: A trans (MTF) Kate Marsh story, TJM starts with Kate entering Blackwell and being slightly overwhelmed by her new dorm mates. After a trip with Steph, Max, & Chloe to Powell's in Portland, she is given a rather ancient looking book that contains a supposed demon inside: Victoria. (ChaseMarsh)
My Worst Enemy: When Max suddenly shoots up from her chair and storms out during one of Jefferson's lectures, Jefferson sends his class helper Kate and current annoyance Victoria to figure out what the hell just happened, only for the two to walk in on Nathan holding Max at gunpoint. When Max moves to keep Victoria from being shot, something interferes with her powers and her, Victoria, Kate, and Chloe are all thrust into a world where Max is part Fox, Chloe is her lover, Victoria is the protectorate of Kate, and Kate is essentially a mix between Jesus and the Pope. (ChaseMarsh)
Midnight Butterflies: In 2073 a Militech extraction squad kidnaps Max, kills William, and maims Chloe. 5 years later, Chloe has become known as the 'Militech Reaper', an edgerunner pariah in Night City who is known for only taking jobs against Militech and always leaving a high body count in her wake. But when a seemingly unstoppable merc killer starts threatening to end the edgerunner way of life, Chloe is brought in by Rouge to end the so called 'Edgecutter' once and for all.(PriceField)
This: The reworked version of my first story 'Stages', expanded and refined to better suite my growing ideas with the ramifications of True Colors, the end of the LiS Max Comics, and how the world has started to change after the Wolf Brother's surrendered at the border.(PriceField, ChenRich, Others)
Blue Moon: Chloe's life continues to spiral as her desperate search for her lost friend continues. But with a single shift of the wind, Chloe finds her life thrust into chaos.(ChasePriceMarshField)

What's more, we didn't even think about the "ghosting" until Deck Nine tried to assassinate Max's character for Before the Storm. In LiS, neither Max nor Chloe remained in touch and Chloe stated it had been five years without a single text or call or even e-mail. Deck Nine decided "no, we need to have people hate Max so we'll show this was fake and Max actually abandoned Chloe." (Just like Deck Nine later assassinated Chloe's character by having Chloe be "too much of a free spirit" to remain with Max for Double Exposure.)
When we used to think of the "toxic" elements of Pricefield it was "Chloe taking advantage of Max" and not about Max being a bad friend or toxic in return. And hell, Chloe was far more respectful of Max's wishes - when they found the $5,000, Chloe will respect Max not wanting her to take the money. Chloe respects all of Max's choices in the game. Sure, she's upset with Max not talking to her in five years but she also understands it and accepts Max back into her life without hesitation.
In fact, the "toxic" aspect of Chloe is usually used by people insisting that it is morally better to murder Chloe Price to save a town full of people because Chloe is "a bad person who deserves to die." They ignore the fact that Chloe was sexually assaulted by Nathan Prescott (who used a date rape drug on her) and that not knowing if she'd been raped or not was fucking with Chloe's head, just as it fucked with Kate Marsh's head (resulting in Kate trying to kill herself, and Chloe being suicidal and offering her life for the town's in the hope that maybe her death might prevent a killer tornado despite any evidence at all to the contrary).
Hell. You want toxic yuri? Look at Catradora in the She-Ra remake. You have a girl who spirals downward into villainy while her best friend becomes a suicidal heroine who was going to offer her life to save the world... and it's literally the former villainess (Catra) who convinces Adora to live and to choose to live. There's a bit of toxic yuri in Catradora and many people detest Catradora because Catra is... um... let's see. Toxic. And a war criminal who tries to redeem herself in fighting against a greater foe.
No. You all can't actually accept toxic yuri, even when it's milquetoast "toxic yuri" like Pricefield, let alone more legitimate toxic yuri.
It’s funny how I see so many people online be like “We want toxic yuri!!!! Give us sapphics who are horrible to each other!!!”
And I’m just sitting here like…..
YOU COWARDS COULDNT EVEN HANDLE PRICEFIELD!!!!!
ASDFGHJKL real. People will really say they want enemies to kiss on the lips before saying that they can't ship Pricefield because...Max ghosted Chloe when she was literally thirteen.
And the thing is, Pricefield isn't even a toxic ship. It's not perfect. Max and Chloe both have characters flaws that sometimes contradict each other, and their codependency is insane, but I wouldn't consider that toxic as much as I would consider that "interesting character dynamic writing."
Like...I'm sorry but a ship without ANY flaws is boring. They always give off a "Male Main Lead and Underdeveloped Female Character looked at each other for two seconds so they have to be together now" vibes and I hate that.
I think a good ship is built out two characters who can complement and contradict each other at the best of times, like Pricefield. I think that makes them significantly more interesting and realistic than a ship where the writers are afraid to let their characters be characters within their relationship because then there might be a tiny sliver of contrast.
ANYWAYS I really went off on a bit of a tangent there, lmao. But, TLDR: Yeah, I agree.
