Bundling #exercise with #rewards never tasted so good! Sometimes temptation bundling is the only thing that gets me out the door. I live #walking distance from some delicious #cafes, #delis and #restaurants. I can enjoy walking a mile, then sit down and #relax, with a book and some good food to eat. Here I am attempting #modified #pushups at the #gym. Since I can't do them on my #feet and #toes for obvious reasons, I'm doing them on my #knees instead. I got to use my new #weights today! J found some 5 pounds #dumbells and a pair of 2 pound #walking weights at @target the other night. The exercise equipment isle was picked over, so we really lucked out. If you saw some of my previous videos, I was using water bottles as a substitute. You can also use sealed, canned food. Thank you to my beautiful and talented sister, @rachel.m.santiago for making the gorgeous mask I'm wearing on my face! #sweatingafterthewedding I just walked 1.65 miles, burning 324 calories, to my local @dunkin with my friend, @heather6213 over @messenger video chat. Of course my phone's battery was depleted from the heat of this gorgeous weather and the use of running the app, so hubby to the rescue! @jasonbernstein met me here with a portable charger. Just as he walked in, the @dunkin app decided it wasn't going to allow me to add money to my account, so J helped out. I love my husband so much. Thank you for always coming to my rescue. A good book and a healthy, picnic lunch on my front lawn. #sweatingafterthewedding After exercising once or twice a day, 3-5 days a week, this feels good. I am using the weekends to relax; allowing my body and muscles to rejuvenate and heal from the strain of exercise. On Friday, I noticed that the outsides of my angles were hurting during a workout. Looking back on my visits a year ago with @aprcnj, I think that this might be because I was doing my at-home group fitness workouts in my bare feet. While it feels good to be able to do them barefoot at first, there is a reason I needed orthotics when I began exercising last year. My step seems to favor the outside edges of my feet.
