Fake Bowsers

So something people will forget about at times is the fact in several games the Bowsers you fight aren't the real bowser.

In Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 2: The Lost Levels many of the Bowser's you fight are minions transformed into Fake Bowsers by magic. We see this done again in Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario 3D Land, and Super Mario Run as well.

Fact: Bowser has a romantic infatuation with Princess Peach, which, in part, prompts him to kidnap her. 

Peach doesn’t reciprocate his advances, often being upset by his actions, but treats him kindly when he’s civil, inviting him to events and supporting his good deeds.

A mad lad by the name of Joshua Barretto is porting Super Mario 64 to the Game Boy Advance.

While Joshua doesn't plan on ever releasing a ROM (for legal reasons), It's interesting to see that a feat like this is even possible.

Luigi, a plumber from Brooklyn, after suddenly crashing against a brick wall with his brother Mario, comes back from unconsciousness laying in a huge bed, in what appears to be a very fancy room, akin to royalty... with a giant dragon-turtle at his side, worried and exclaiming how happy it makes him to see his sweetheart awake again, and how worried he was.

Luigi, Queen of the Darklands, after accidentally falling into a river of lava and being certain that he drowned, wakes up on the hard floor of what appears to be a building, cold and leaking with piles of broken bricks scattered around, with his brother Mario crying from happiness at seeing that he's not dead, holding him in a very tight hug, as he apologizes again and again.

Both are feeling lost and confused, but will have to do their best to adapt to the new reality they are faced with, while still trying to figure out how to return to their rightful universe.

Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Switch Online adds Wario Land 4 on February 14 - Gematsu

Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online will add Wario Land 4 on February 14, Nintendo announced.

Wario Land 4 first launched for Game Boy Advance on August 21, 2001 in Japan, followed by November 16, 2001 in Europe and November 19, 2001 in North America.

I think this is a problem that nobody has ever had besides me. The first video game I ever played as a kid was Super Mario Bros 3 on the GameBoy Advance SP, I wanna say 2004, 2005-ish. Unlike the original NES game it had a save feature and remembered your progress and inventory after you beat it. On your second run through, the hammer bros no longer despawn after you beat them, so you can farm the same items over and over. That's good if you want a bunch of p-wings or tanuki suits. Me, I made a point of collecting a bunch of hammers so I could break every rock in the game for 100% completion, but I didn't count how many there were beforehand; when the developers ported it over they never thought you'd collect more hammers than there were rocks, so I suddenly had like five or six extras filling up space in my inventory and no way to get rid of them. They only disappear when you break a rock, and collecting a new item with a full inventory only overwrites the final slot, so my save file had a handicap going forward, fewer slots available. Sucks to be me, I guess.
