i think the tumblrinas are trying to make a sweeping moral message out of saltburn—and i'm sure there is one underneath the rubble, and i'm sure it'd feel better to have it out in the open. but to me this is simply a bonkers ass movie. this is having the silly figures on the screen go absolutely mental. this is lust and greed and the behavior of people who are generally unwell. it is two very handsome men circling each other like satellites. it is really fantastic lighting. and it is me in a darkened movie theater, curling into my seat, sitting behind a row of people who will leave the theater early or immediately as the credits roll, watching with disgust and horror and delight as barry keoghan commits acts that really only ought to be between him and god.

I was scrolling through twitter reactions to the newest chapter of One Piece and all the zoro fanboys were creaming themselves like he's the goat, pouring honey on him, he's yonko level and then one stan was like "luffy's got nothing on zoro he'd get bodied in a second" and I swear it was like a swarm of bees on this man all these zoro stans flew upon this dude like locusts saying the same variation of "what are you talking about zoro would suck luffy's dick anytime any place" "how fucking dare you that's his captain bro" these dudes are just one tumblr blog away from writing 10k fanfic on ao3 bet we just gotta open their third eye y'all

sorry im always on the "breaking down popular lloyd fandom opinions" grind but it's so funny that the common conception of the tommorow's tea incident everyone has is like, this tragic loss of childhood done entirely against lloyd's will by the adults around him. and liiiiike,,,, im not going to act like there isn't some element of social pressure to grow up and take the role to it, but when you actually go back and watch that scene it's everyone yelling "no lloyd don't do it you'll lose your childhood!!" and trying as much as possible to avoid this outcome and lloyd just like "well somebody's gotta!" and making sure he's 100% exposed to the tea's blast radius
