this is not meant to be a complaint (though I am tempted to complain), but it is interesting how the notes on creative posts like art or gifsets usually consist of 30-35% or less reblogs these days. I don't think creatives who are frustrated with this feel so solely because they want more compliments or engagement, though those are also important, but because most of the fun in fandom spaces is sharing your work with others and hearing what they think about it. not to sound super old but it was so much fun in the past when more people would lose their minds over what you created with your favourite characters. I miss the "my feels!!!" times
