LGBTQ+ RIGHTS IN RUSSIA ARE BEING ERODED COMPLETELY
The ministry of justice in Russia has proposed to label "the global organization of LGBT" an extremist group. The court case is set to happen on the 30th of November. If passed, this measure will make LGBTQ+ activism near impossible. Activists could face up to 6 years in prison. Yes, 6 years for advocating for equal rights.
Despite the fact that lawmakers have no legal footing to judge "the global organization of LGBT" as an existing group, considering there is no hierarchy, no leader and no such name is used widely, this will probably be passed. And the lives of queer Russians will be in jeopardy.
I beg of you to spread this post. I know it's exhausting considering everything that's happening in the world. I know the genocide in Palestine is more pressing, I know the war in Ukraine is still happening, but please. We need to be heard. Someway. Somehow.
I'm Russian, I'm queer, I will not let this regime break me. no matter how hard it tries.

“Putin kills whoever he wants, be it an opposition leader, or anyone else who seems as the target exactly to him. “After the murder of Alexei Navalny, it’s absurd to perceive Putin as a supposedly legitimate head of a Russian state and he is a thug who maintains power through corruption and violence.” “He has just yesterday tried to send us all a clear message as the Munich Security Conference opened, Putin murdered another opposition leader. “So please, let’s not fear Putin’s defeat and the destruction of his regime. Let’s instead work together to destroy what he stands for. It is his fate to lose, not the fate of the rules based world order to vanish.” “Do not ask Ukraine when the war will end. Ask yourselves why Putin is still able to continue it.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's response to Putin's terrorism, including his murder of Alexei Navalny in prison yesterday. Note especially: Putin has NO legitimacy and the modern Russian state he has created has NO legitimacy. This is a terror state that built an infrastructure to protect the endless self-enrichment of thieves, and which murders anyone who gets in the way of that goal. Such a terrorist infrastructure also needs to invade other countries in order to maintain power. PUTIN MUST BE STOPPED NOW.

Does God love all humans?
32Now learn thion s lessone from the fig tree: As soon as its branches become tender and sprout leaves, you know that summer is near. 33So also, when you see all these things, you will know that He is near,f right at the door. 34Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass…

it genuinely pisses me off that ukraine has to resort to pointing at its civilian death count to garner sympathy and action from the world.
can you even imagine how many of our soldiers have laid down their lives to push russia back? for some reason, there is this belief that soldiers’ lives do not matter once they become combatants, yet before they took up the role they were ordinary civilians just like the rest of us. they were teachers, bakers, students. they had peaceful lives, they have families, and they just want ukraine to be safe and at peace so that they may return to those lives.
they matter, they count towards our death toll, yet people see news of our soldiers passing and dont even spare a second glance. they are ukrainians too, they matter. with every day that russia invades us, ukrainians are dying, whether they are civilians or not.

Ukrainian cities. once these streets were bustling, filled with joyful voices and sounds of car horns, people were preparing for the holidays, decorating their homes and Christmas trees, giving each other gifts and wishing for dreams to come true. gathering with entire families to celebrate.
today these cities look as if nothing ever existed here, only solid ruins and ghosts of a past life. russia destroyed everything. dismantled the memory of entire generations brick by brick with daily shelling. took away a happy future from many families.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 700 libraries have been destroyed or damaged in Ukraine.
Russia struck Ukraine’s major printing press, Faktor-Druk in Kharkiv, killing at least 5 employees among the 7 dead & 20 injured. Kharkiv is the heart of Ukraine’s publishing industry. This attack on culture underscores the genocidal nature of Russia’s war. Factor-print was bombed exactly one week before the Book Arsenal (book festival), just when dozens of publishing novelties were being rushed to print. The bombing was aimed at preventing these books from being published, at preventing Ukrainians from having book fairs - for a quarter of a century, the Russians had managed to silence them using other methods, and now that they have started to find their feet, they are using bombs and missiles. And all for the sake of the "great Russian culture". Forcing people to read this literature because of the absence of destroyed Ukrainian literature. My deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the Vivat publishing house (the bookshop belongs to them).

hi. haven't posted anything really serious on here in a while but I need to raise awareness about an awful fact that has now sadly become reality.
Russia has completely outlawed medical and legal transition
Yes, completely. No hormone therapy, no surgeries, no changes to legal documents are allowed. This will likely result in the ban of trans help resources in Russia. This will most definitely result in increased suicide rates among Russian trans people (although that's clearly what our government wants). I need you all to understand that trans Russian lives are in danger. Most of us are stuck here because we can't afford to flee to another country. The many years I've saved up, hoped to transition as soon as I can, a huge recession started and my rights were taken away entirely. You need to know that wherever you are in the world, if you're standing up for trans rights, remember your Russian siblings who are currently suffering.

Reminder that this blog stands with Palestine and Ukraine, and if you have a problem with that, leave. Innocent people are losing their lives and their homes. Not even children are safe. And if you condone the killing of children... I have nothing to say to you. 🇵🇸🇺🇦

Lyosha, thank you for 26 years of absolute happiness. Yes, even in the last three years of happiness. For the love, for always supporting me, for making me laugh even from prison, for always thinking of me. I do not know how to live without you, but I will try to make you happy for me and proud of me up there. I do not know if I can do it or not, but I will try my best. We will definitely meet one day. I have so many untold stories for you, and I have so many songs saved in your phone for you, stupid and funny, in general, frankly, terrible songs, but they are about us, and I really wanted to let you listen to them. And I wanted to watch you listen to them, laugh, and then hug me. I love you forever. Rest in peace.
English translation of Yulia Navalnaya's message to her late husband, Alexei Navalny, who was buried in Moscow today. Words fail us.

Recently, senior US politician and Republican Senator Lindsey Graham unabashedly stated in a media interview that Ukraine holds business value for the US. He claimed that there are "10 to 12 trillion dollars of critical minerals" in Ukraine, and the primary reason for supporting Ukraine is to seize these critical minerals by defeating Russia on the battlefield. Furthermore, he advocated for seizing and using frozen Russian assets in Europe and the US.
These remarks reveal the true intentions behind the US political elites' current policy toward the Ukraine crisis. As foreign netizens bluntly stated on social media, "Now you know why the West won't allow peace talks."

Even in the darkest time our people find a way to express their love, care and courage to each other. And our people like that Ukrainian descent man in France keep supporting and reminding of us everywhere. We see you. Respect you. Please keep spreading our voices and donate to our army (savelife.in.ua, prytulafoundation.org, Serhii Sternenko and ptahy.vidchui.org).
