1 John 5:1-12 (NLT). [1] “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too. [2] We know we love God’s children if we love God and obey his commandments. [3] Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome. [4] For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. [5] And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. [6] And Jesus Christ was revealed as God’s Son by his baptism in water and by shedding his blood on the cross—not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit, who is truth, confirms it with his testimony. [7] So we have these three witnesses— [8] the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and all three agree. [9] Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the greater testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son. [10] All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don’t believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don’t believe what God has testified about his Son. [11] And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.”

Reaching a healthy old age is a laudable goal, but nothing’s more important than receiving the Savior and enjoying what is to come—the gift of living forever in His presence.”

Jesus still loves you when you don't understand what He's doing, when you're tired of waiting, if you struggle with your mental health, if you haven't spent time with Him today, if you struggle to love yourself even if you have nothing left to give. He still loves you.

I’ve never been so good at saying good bye, I’d rather just leave it as this for you to remember me by.

Traces of me will one day turn to dust, a lifetime record of binary floating in cable and crust.

Zeroes and ones yet the spiral found you here, flattening the chaos that two dimensional stare.

And for that constellation in your eye, so long, and goodbye.

SERIOUSLY, REPENT

REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND. JESUS IS COMING BACK

All have sinned against God and fallen short of His standard. (Romans 3:23)  We do not and cannot earn salvation by keeping the Old Testament Laws or by simply being a good person. We will fail every time; it is in our nature to sin. It is only through God sacrificing His Son Jesus in our place, that we can acquire complete forgiveness. Sin has to be punished. Jesus took our punishment on the cross. Salvation is only through Jesus Christ.  It is a free gift to all who accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. He shed His blood to atone for the sins of the whole world. 

Regardless of what sins we have committed against God, He offers this gift to each of us. John 3:17 tells us that Jesus didn’t come to condemn us but to save us. Hallelujah!

Luke 15:7, "There is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who were righteous and haven't strayed away!"

i was thinking about this verse recently and wondering.. how different it would be if people could see just how important they are to God. so important in fact that the Creator of the universe, an everlasting Being, came down Himself to experience death to set us free from Death. if you were the only human needing redemption, He would have gone through it all just for you.

it's up to you to accept or reject this payment on your behalf. there's no way to pay it yourself, you can never be "good enough" to make it to Heaven. He took on your punishment for you and only His sacrifice absolves you from it. if you reject Him, He will honor that decision, and you'll spend eternity separated from Him and all joy, light, and happiness. not because He's cruel, but because all good things stem from the Lord. there is no life without Jesus Christ.

the experience of the man in this comic is actually based on many testimonies i've listened to. people cried out to Jesus, and either saw or felt His love and were changed. don't wait! you have the entirety of Heaven cheering you on, longing for you to join our family. the hole in your heart can only be filled by the Holy Spirit's Presence. don't reject your opportunity to experience God's wonders forever, in a reality far greater than Earth could ever hope to be.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
