I've had this question for a while, and I think it's good to ask it now. But how do you make the gray scales of the characters? Do you put the color drawings in a filter or do you think about it yourself?

I put it in in gray tones. Check out my spread:

they're almost always the same 3 tones for every character, so eventually I don't even need to consult the spread. But it's good to keep notes.
