A groundbreaking study using advanced radar technology has revealed a vast and intricate underground structure beneath the Pyramids of Giza!
Scientists Corrado Malanga from the University of Pisa and Filippo Biondi from the University of Strathclyde used Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) tomography to scan the Khafre Pyramid and found an subterranean system that extends approximately two kilometers beneath all three pyramids.
Beneath these pathways lay eight vertical cylindrical wells which were encircled by descending spiral pathways that stretched down up to 648 meters, ultimately merging into two massive cube-shaped structures, each measuring 80 meters per side.
The entire underground network is said to extend roughly 2 kilometers beneath all three pyramids. Some researchers speculate that the pyramids may have had purposes beyond serving as tombs, potentially tapping into the Earth's natural energy or even acting as ancient power generators.
