So a lot of political scandals just dropped in the last 24 hours

-NC Governor Candidate Mark Robinson's online posts were found, including some VERY graphic descriptions (like seriously, do not read if you're not 18) of him cheating on his wife, calling himself a black Nazi, and expressing support for reinstituting slavery. His email address was also found on Ashley Madison

-Robert F Kennedy Jr was revealed to be cheating on his wife with a reporter (and that isn't even the weirdest thing since federal law enforcement opened an investigation into him allegedly cutting off the head of a whale and taking it home with him less than 24 hours ago)

-GOP Senate candidate who is the CEO of a bank has been found accepting millions of dollars from what seem to allegedly be Mexican drug cartels.

-Finally, probably the biggest bombshell, according to multiple eyewitness testimonies within sealed sworn affadavits, Congressman Matt Gaetz allegedly invited a 17-year-old girl to a drug-fueld sex party

And we haven't even hit October, folks. Again, these are all still breaking news stories, so things are subject to change, but oh man oh man.

Actually so tired that people mainly focus on the bdsm when they talk about La Pianiste when we literally have this dynamic right here. Like, that's insane.

it strikes me once again in episode 10 when crozier says that he "knows little's nature" and that he would be there with men and guns at day's end, he's absolutely right. he does know edward's nature. it's almost exactly what little said to rally the men, "we have hickey's camp outnumbered and outgunned." edward is ready to march all the men he can gather to rescue crozier, just as francis thought he would. what crozier doesn't know is le vesconte's nature. he doesn't know the nature of the men. he isn't aware that edward himself is being mutinied against because he's once again unable to see the similarities between himself and his second. because, just like in terror camp, he's placed expectations on edward without realising that the context in which edward is operating has very drastically changed. he's thinking of edward's loyalty but not edward's own duty to the men (a duty crozier shares!) and that edward's orders don't exist in a vacuum. it's just the debate about arming the men played out again but with debatably worse consequences

Honestly, I wonder how the girlies are doing now that they probably knows that Dracula is coming back to Transylvania. They had the castle, and the land for themselves for like, 3 months? And the fucker wants to come back already???? They are probably searching through ancient texts, and dusty tomes how to make the castle not His House anymore so the Count can't enter, and they can laugh at him in return.

You know what makes me soooo excited for the next phase of Fadel and Style's relationship? It's that they will finally slot into the CORRECT relationship dynamics because this whole time, it's been flipped.

From the beginning, something felt off, and I think it's because Style's true desire is to be pursued. We are shown this pretty much in Style's introduction when he blatantly puts his body on display with the Crop Top Stretch. Style wants to be approached, wants to be propositioned, wants to be desired. Also, remember how he initially flirts with Fadel when his only motivation was his own attraction? He pinned the Heart Burger badge onto his chest to create an opportunity for Fadel to put his hands on Style's body.

Of course Fadel wasn't pursuing Style; was in fact, actively trying to get away (for reasons OTHER than a lack of physical attraction to Style), so it is the plot that has to drive our lovebirds together using Kant's request and partly Style's own desire to get some revenge.

But throughout their interactions, we constantly see glimpses of Style's desire to be pursued: every single time Fadel even shows a HINT of wanting Style, he immediately falls pliant, like he can't wait to let Fadel take the reins. And nothing shows this more clearly than the absolutely blissed out look on Style's face in Ep 4 when he thinks Fadel has finally admitted that he wants Style.

(Fucking hell, just look at how dazed and almost euphoric Style looks here? It's like Style has been starving for the barest hint that Fadel truly wants him.)

Which is also why we've gotten so many fake outs. Because although Fadel IS attracted to Style (Ep 2 made that...abundantly clear), he isn’t remotely ready to pursue anyone. Not only is Fadel nursing a broken heart, barely beating, he also has very justified suspicions about Style’s connection to Kant and Style's unnatural persistence.

So it's Style that has to pursue - he dodges Fadel's footsteps, and bullies his way into Fadel's life; but in between the frustration and annoyance, Fadel's walls begin to crack. And I think it's SO COOL that the first significant evidence we have of Fadel's walls crumbling is because Style puts his body on display for Fadel. Because Fadel responded to something that was naturally part of the way Style operates before he even met Fadel. And there are other, more compelling reasons why I think Fadel begins to fall for Style, but that's not really the point I'm trying to make here.

When Fadel said "If I like you, I'll do the pursuing", it wasn't just to get Style to back off. Because now that Fadel has finally chosen to explore something real with Style, we are seeing Fadel's words in action. I know some people have said Fadel's switch to flirting so blatantly with Style in Ep 4's gym scene came out of left field, but I think it may well be confirmation that this was always the dynamic they were meant to be in. Fadel likes pursuing and Style likes being pursued. They fit, they match, they're perfectly compatible.

(Fadel looks almost faintly amused by how "flustered" Style is. Because he doesn't know that Style is actually afraid of him - why would he, when Style has evidenced zero fear so far? So this comes across like Style is getting shy in response to Fadel's unexpected and more overt approach. And possibly this is Fadel starting to remember how much he enjoys the chasing.)

Unfortunately, Kant's revelation is going to screw allll of this up. But, we are finally going to see glimpses of how they work when they're aligned correctly in their dynamics! And while it will take a journey (and oh, it will be gloriously painful, won't it?), our boys are finally on the road to something lasting and I am sooo glad we get to come along for the ride. <3

bison is furious with kant. he could kill him. he could walk away. and instead he saves him! tells kant to spend the rest of his life with him! brings him somewhere they can be alone!

in a story where everything hinges on lies and deception and the external pressures closing in. what better way to figure out who they are to one another, once everything else is washed away?

I will put this out in the universe and we will see how much of it will prove to be true:

The fallout between Fadel and Style will not be as dramatic as some fear.

Yes, at some point, everything will blow up in Kant and Style's faces, and in addition to the knowledge that the police are after them, Fadel and Bison also have to run away from Lily or something similar. Sucks all around.

The scene in the trailer between Fadel and Style when Style says 'I already know everything so why are you still pushing me away', Fadel then says 'Because I don't want to lose you'

The scenes with Fadel's arm in a sling. He looks pissed, he handcuffs Style to a bed. They seem on the run.

They're in some kind of dirty warehouse? Abandoned safehouse? Style kisses Fadel hand.

My two cents:

Style is a damn menace. He just got his man, he won't let him off the hook. They're soulmates goddamnit and if Fadel thinks he was annoying and clingy before he has a storm coming because NOW they're boyfriends and Style sticks to his person.

Sure, there might be a bit of hurt/comfort, arguments, and hurt feelings, but this series has proven that it is, indeed, a romcom.

Style will just annoy himself into Fadel's good grace again. Tbh I even think that it will need only two eps top to have them reunited/together/reconciled again. If it isn't even solved in one ep (I could see that)

Style has the advantage that the only person he has to care about is his grown-ass father, who can look after himself and doesn't have a police arrest looming over his head. For him, it would be easier to just jump over to Bison and Fadel's side and maybe even help them in contrast to Kant who has to look out for his little brother and is BLACKMAILED BY THE POLICE!

I think it would be hilarious if it went like this:

Fadel: You lied to me etc pp get away! I don't want to see you anymore *hurt noises, angry eyebrows*

Style: Nope! *lays a big kiss on Fadel and refuses to go anywhere*

Ergo: Style will just follow Fadel around until Fadel gives in.
