the saddest thing about severance is that the fields of fanfic are probably so barren in that universe. some of your favorite fics were written by people typing out little fucked up erotica about fictional characters on their phones on company time. the outies probably played ace attorney and the innies have no idea that they should have gdocs open in a tab like god intended. something to think about

ok but you can say the same about Spanish or English surpassing the native language and culture in their colonies. Or Arabic and French, why do you think these two are spoken in Africa? OP also mentioned learning Spanish and Arabic and you didn't seem to have any objections. do you think those don't matter because it's in the past? in that case America using its culture for imperialism is currently happening. why did you decide to learn this problematic language?

there's literally no justification for giving people shit about what languages they've chosen to learn btw. some of you might not have dealt with it the same as i have, but it's been an annoyingly consistant theme in my life.
