Poor Liam lol. Woke up from napping in his dying dimension, immediately made a capital-D Deal with the hunky nerd who saves his life, then the hunky nerd takes him to lunch with his boyfriend and their infinite empanadas and they agree to keep him after insulting his whole "monkey paw" shtick.

Also Dee shakes him a bit while excited.

he woke up because some idiotic meat creature stumbled into his dimension that he's been trying to keep together for so long, potentially disrupting his fragile hold, so he tried to bite said creature's head off but it was wearing some sort of protection. Ended up befriending this interesting half-made transient thing who introduced him to another not quite the same but similar creature and then curiosity got the better of him and decided to stick around and experience things at their perspective
