Firm believer that only things confirmed in text are canon. If you have to go to a writers twitter or look up an interveiw or something to get information or confirmation on something then it doesnt count. Not only is it a cop-out (claiming you have lgbtq rep without actually having lgbtq rep for example) but not everyone has access to that or knows to look that up. If you make a mistake and publish it then thats a part of canon now babey!!

I legitimately don’t care what other people ship, but I do think that more people need to be willing to admit that “what I think needs to be canon” does in fact equal “fanon” or “a headcanon” and that sometimes it’s just not going to happen. Either learn how to deal with that or stop engaging with the piece of media that is making you angry.
