I'm sorry guys but if you are on tumblr and don't know who cecil is you need to go back on history books. He's the blueprint of the sexymen, the og twink, the first eye-motif guy, he ended queerbaiting during a time where queerbaiting or k*ll your gays trope was all the representation we could get. Respect the elder. He threw the first brick

five and many more: a timeline summary
(For legal reasons, all of this is alleged.)
Ref. links: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
1984, is the first time Neil Gaiman released a book.
In 1985, he got married and started his career as a comic book writer and in 1986, he assaulted Julia Hobsbawm.
This took place in Chalk Farm, London, where he forcibly kissed her and shoved her down on the sofa at her own studio flat before she escaped. According to The Crown Prosecution Service, “sexual assault is where one person intentionally touches another person sexually without their consent. The touching can be done with any part of the body or with an object.” In her own words, she described it as “an aggressive, unwanted pass” and that she still remembers it even now.
Through 1987 and 2002 he progressed his career and published the famous book Coraline. A new year happens and he is in his early-forties and is thriving off of the success of his several money-making works, at a book signing event in Sarasota, Florida. There he hits it off with a young 18 year old (K) and they start dating. Two years later, in 2005, with two more awards under his belt, he forcibly penetrated that young twenty year old who told him not to because of a painful infection.
After another two years, he and his first wife divorced.
It's 2012, five years later and one year into a new marriage and at another book signing, Neil, age 52, immediately assaulted Claire (pseudonym) with a non-consensual kiss. Throughout keeping contact Neil had escalated this with video and phone calls that had a heavy sexual connotation where he appeared to either be naked or tried to instigate something. All of this accumulated into sexually assaulting her on a tour bus. Neil’s contact with her lasted until 2014 where he had promptly accused her in a text message that she had used him for sex.
Within the same year, Neil had enough money to buy a property, and met Caroline Wallner, 55, and her at-the time current husband. With a deal to do odd jobs for Neil and his wife to live there until she could own a five-acre plot, it wasn’t long before things turned sour. A divorce in 2017 sent everything spiraling, with her former husband fired, she in a once financially stable position, was now completely dependent on Neil Gaiman who used that to his advantage. Using her lack of financial stability to get himself sexual favors, he coerced her into a sexual-only, notably uninformed BDSM-entering territory while she was emotionally vulnerable, not accepting denials. This lasted until the summer of 2021, and in December of that year she and him went to court, what awaited her was $275k of compensation and a non-disclosure agreement (nda).
It wouldn’t take long for another woman to experience Neil Gaiman’s repeated offenses as well because in February of 2022, Scarlett (a pseudonym), age 23, a newly hired nanny, was sexually assaulted in the bathtub at his house. Neil, age 61, climbed into the bathtub with her and coerced her into having sexual relations. He too, in his coercion of her, made her financially dependent on him and brought BDSM elements to an inexperienced young woman who could not say no.
Since July 3rd of this year, 2024, five women have come out with sexual assault allegations aimed at Neil Gaiman. They all have several things in common with each other: either being young and naive, a fan of his, or put in a vulnerable spot financially or emotionally. Throughout the years and according to the stories, Neil progressively gets more bold and aggressive in his attempts for sexual gain. There are many more stories out there and whispers on the internet of how predatory Neil Gaiman has been in the industry. However, focusing on the five women who came out to speak and pushing their voice is an important part of the discussion.
Staying silent will only protect his peace.

Months passed, and Mason and I were doing well. After our trip to Spain, we faced some challenges, but with time, we managed to sort things out. The fact that Max wasn't a constant presence in our daily lives made things easier.
Today, Mason had a charity event to attend, and I was accompanying him. I usually don't enjoy such events because the focus tends to be on me, and people don't have many positive things to say about my appearance.
During the event, as we sat at the dinner table, laughing and talking, I noticed Christian, Checo, and Max approaching.
"Good evening," Christian greeted as an event staff member indicated that this was their table.
"Good evening," Mason and I responded simultaneously.
"Hey, everyone," Max said, and luckily, Christian took the seat next to me.
"Hello," I replied, quickly shifting my attention back to Mason.
As they served dinner, Mason's chosen dish arrived, and looking at it made my stomach churn.
"Are you okay?" Max asked, and Mason looked at me.
"Love."
"I need to go to the bathroom." I rushed off and went to the restroom.
I barely made it to the bathroom, and I think I vomited everything I had eaten in the past few days. The door opened, and I felt someone holding my hair.
"Are you okay?" Mason asked, and as I tried to answer, I vomited again.
"I'm sorry," I replied, starting to cry.
"No need to apologize," he said, patting my back. "What happened?"
"I just felt sick out of nowhere, don't know why." I took a deep breath. "I think it might have been something I ate."
"Okay, let's go home."
I stood up, and after washing my mouth with water, we returned to the table to grab our things to leave.
"Are you okay?" Christian asked, and I could see the concerned looks from everyone.
"I'm fine, just felt unwell," I said, feeling a bit dizzy. "Can we leave?"
"Of course," Mason said, grabbing our belongings. "It was nice seeing you again; hope you enjoy the event."
"Thank you," Checo replied.
"Mason," Christian called. "The team really enjoyed your presence at the last GP and asked me to invite you both to attend the Monaco GP next weekend."
"Thank you, we'll consider it," he smiled, taking the tickets.
When we got home, I went straight to take a shower and brush my teeth to go to sleep. Besides feeling a bit dizzy, I was nauseous and tired, needing a good night's sleep.
"How are you feeling?"
"A bit better, but still not great."
"Is there anything I can do?"
"Can you make some tea for me?" He agreed and kissed my forehead.
My mind was wandering, and as I waited for Mason to return, I was scrolling through Instagram and came across a photo of Lauren, Declan's girlfriend, with baby Jude. Something clicked in my mind – my period was supposed to have come weeks ago, and now I realized it was late.
"Y/n." I snapped out of my thoughts as he snapped his fingers. "Are you okay? Going to vomit again?"
"No, I just got distracted." He nodded and handed me the tea.
It's safe to say I didn't sleep at all that night.

I didn’t want to hijack the person’s post bc I don’t care what they think but I am a defensive bitch so we’re talking about this
Logan and Oscar met when they were 13/14. The next year they were on the same karting team together but didn’t race each other directly. This would be the last time they don’t race each other until 2019 when Logan moved up to F3 and Oscar was still in Formula Renault. They had a championship battle in F4 and F3, they were teammates in 2020, they haven’t raced each other since then which has been the biggest gap since they’ve known each other.
That still doesn’t mean they’re friends though. You know what does? Them literally saying they are.
Oscar saying “I’m quite close with Logan Sargeant” on that podcast. The Miami GP 2023 post. Them playing paddle together. Logan in that interview where they asked about “Loscar.” Now the podcast episode.
They aren’t forced to be around each other, if anything they’re so busy they don’t have time to hang out, yet they still seek each other out when they have the opportunity. Obviously we don’t know anything about their personal lives but at the very least we know they’re friends?? Not brocedes level of friends, maybe lestappen level of friends cause I don’t think they’re actual friends either, definitely not galex level of friends but that can also be attributed to the fact they don’t talk about themselves a lot, compared to Alex or George who post everything about their lives.
Like, have you ever seen them interact? They’re chilling they’re casual but they are friends. Whatever you think about their dynamic they are at least that.

The internet is really good at speaking in extremes. Someone is either the G.O.A.T. or someone is trash. Someone is the internet’s boyfriend, or the internet’s villain. And there’s very little gray space, where people come to the dais of the public square. It is only kind of for one of those extreme reasons. They are the greatest of all time, we worship them, or they’re the worst thing ever, let’s mock them, at a time when they could probably use a helping hand, not mockery.
Dylan Marron on the lack of nuance in online conversations while discussing his new podcast, The Redemption of Jar Jar Binks. Click through to listen to the whole interview or read a full transcript!

The podcast is vile, it's handled in the worst way possible, it's harmful to everyone.
The title of the podcast ? The catchy episode titles ? The format ? The cliffhangers ? The background music ? The fucking ad breaks ? It's supposed to be a serious investigation of a very grave matter and it's treated like a fucking Netflix production.
The way they handle the story is disgusting, sometimes misleading, clearly biased and a lot of things are presented in a very ridiculous way but those women wanted their stories to be out there so I think it's important to listen to them. I did, I feel awful, I hated every second of it but I formed my own opinion, I'm waiting for what will come next.
I hope those women are okay and staying off social media. Actually I hope everyone involved is staying off social media.

INTERVIEW: Q: I must ask you, Ms Harker, how did Bram Stoker’s story of Dracula get published? Is it true you and your friends were the inspiration?
[MINA LAUGHS] Oh, my dear Bram! I remember when we first met in Cruden Bay in Scotland for a trip and we got on so well. I then invited him to visit me in Whitby, which is where I moved to support Arthur’s new venture after the Carpathians. Bram was very curious about our story,  and we…well, I suppose one thing led to another, and he was anxious to tell a version of it, mostly fabricated you understand, of his very own. To incorporate it into a tale of horror he was already writing. I must admit I was sceptical at first, but the idea intrigued me. Of course, in our real-world story, there was no monstrous being known as Count Dracula, no vampires, and no magic. Just a group of unlikely individuals and a rather terrible set of circumstances. But Arthur convinced me it would aid us in establishing the Foundation, and nothing in the world meant more to us than that. So we gave Bram permission to use our likenesses, and he even studied our writings and manners to ensure he could capture us on the page. I remember discussing with Arthur if we should have changed our names, changed who we were, but the release of the story, outrageous and horrifying as some of the details were, did introduce more people to the importance of blood and blood work. We were able to find many patrons to support us due to the release of Dracula, and while it has certainly made my life much stranger than it could have been, I was never truly upset by the book's legacy. I know Abraham - Professor Van Helsing's – nieces and nephews love to see how their uncle is presented as this dramatic vampire hunter! Sometimes, I wish Bram hadn’t changed so many details, particularly the ending, but I am not myself a writer, so I had faith in his words. Given the loss of my dear husband, Jonathan, at just 24 years old, I sometimes feel that a part of him lives on, caught like a pressed flower between the pages of that book. All I know for sure is that I have faith in what Arthur, Abraham, Jack, and I have created. We are honoured to work with the public to save lives, as we have done for the last 40 years.
