maybe its common knowledge but it somehow never came to me until now that you can use olive oil to remove makeup esp if it doesnt want to come off with the standard makeup remover. soo lifehack i guess 👍
#like the green creeper makeup was so fucking hard to remove i thought id peel my skin off in the process.#but then i realized it came off the easiest from my nose because its naturally kinda oily (esp when i wear glasses)#and yeah worked like a charm. my skin feels so nice too.... like very soft and interestingly not oily at all!#like i washed it with standard face soap/gel/whatever its called afterwards to get the oil off and it came off nicely#but the smooth sensation remained..... its so nice i kinda wanna start doing it more often but idk if its actually good for the skin or not#thots

Does anyone else not use shampoo or conditioner?
#and my hair is fine#I quit about 2 years ago#I’m so glad I did#I’m saving money and my hair feels healthier#and I am more convinced than ever that capitalism is scamming us#the way I wash my hair is just that I take extra long in the shower to thoroughly scrub my scalp with my fingers#and rinse water repeatedly through my hair#when you think about it it makes sense chemically and logically#soap isn’t magic goo#it works by making oils mix with water more easily#if you don’t use soap#it’s still possibly to remove oil from whatever you’re washing#it just takes longer and there’s likely to still be a thin residual coat of oil left behind#think of washing dishes for example#and the thing is that your hair and skin benefit from retaining a small amount of residual oil#when you strip them bare it makes them dry and unhealthy#and for hair at least it immediately starts overproducing oil to compensate#so your hair actually gets oily faster#look it up there are other people talking about it too#or DM me#campost

The Importance of Choosing the Right Serum Selecting the right face serum is crucial in addressing specific skin concerns effectively:
For Dry Skin: It’s essential to choose a serum that hydrates and deeply moisturizes to combat dryness and flakiness.
For Oily Skin: A serum designed for oily skin should regulate oil production and minimize shine while maintaining skin’s natural moisture balance.
Prakritpurity’s Face Serum for Dry Skin Our hydrating face serum for dry skin is enriched with natural oils and hydrating agents that deliver intense moisture, leaving the skin soft, plump, and radiant. Key ingredients include:
Hyaluronic Acid: This powerhouse ingredient can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water, helping to lock in moisture and increase skin elasticity.
Squalane: Derived from olives, squalane is a highly-effective emollient that soothes and prevents moisture loss without leaving a greasy residue.
Benefits of Our Face Serum for Dry Skin
Deep Hydration: Provides lasting hydration, reducing the appearance of fine lines and making the skin appear more youthful.
Soothing Effect: Calms skin irritation and tightness often associated with dry skin.
Prakritpurity’s Face Serum for Oily Skin Our face serum for oily skin is formulated to control excess sebum while ensuring the skin stays refreshed and balanced. Key components include:
Niacinamide: This vitamin helps reduce skin congestion and diminish the appearance of pores.
Tea Tree Oil: Known for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, tea tree oil helps prevent acne outbreaks without drying out the skin.
Benefits of Our Face Serum for Oily Skin
Oil Control: Helps manage and reduce the production of excess oil, promoting a matte and clear complexion.
Pore Minimization: Aids in tightening pores and smoothing skin texture.
How to Use Prakritpurity Face Serums For optimal results, incorporate the serum into both your morning and night skincare routines:
Cleanse: Start with a clean face. Use a gentle cleanser suited to your skin type.
Apply Serum: Dispense a few drops of the serum onto your fingertips and apply to your face and neck. Gently massage until fully absorbed.
Moisturize: Follow up with a moisturizer to lock in the serum and keep your skin hydrated.

nah, but growing up with acne was wild y'all
at age 13 i had other 13-year-olds saying shit to me like "you don't seem to really care as much about your appearance as much as other girls" because i wasn't already using concealer and "why don't you just use proactiv??"
I DID. I WAS! it didn't do fucking ANYTHING for my skin. and now, come to find out, it probably cost my poor mom a bunch of money AND exposed me to carcinogens.
13 is that age where everyone has a mostly adult lexicon but you're still an idiot with low critical thinking skills. you see a person's acne disappear after using proactiv in a commercial? pff, well it must be true and you must just not be doing it right.
#proactiv#acne#i'm 30 and still don't have clear skin#tho it has calmed down quite a bit after i stopped using all those fuckin cleansers and shit to get rid of ~dirty~ natural oils#my face gets washed with WATER and a soft wash cloth it it needs exfoliation#my eyelids get soap most washes tho. they seem to legit be too oily if i don't and don't dry out if i do#anyway just fuckin stopped making my skin as dry as possible and wondering why it would make so much more oil after

GLOW UP GUIDE FOR 2025⠀
READ: On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic — 66 days to be exact. And considering that 2025 is precisely these many days away, why not start with our glow up plan already?
Physical Glow Up-
BODY
— 5-10K steps a day.
— 7-8 hours of sleep.
— workout everyday for 1 hr atleast- yoga/stretching/pilates/cardio. a workout may take one hour, but your mood will be boosted for the next 12 hours.
— posture training.
— sunlight exposure after waking up for at least 10 minutes.
NUTRITION
— 2-3 liters of water every day.
— limit your caffeine intake.
— avoid sugars as much as you can.
— high protein diet, pre and probiotics.
— more fruits and veggies (+ green smoothies if you like).
— no junk/processed food/trans fat.
— no eating after 8 pm.
SKINCARE
— be clear on your skin type (oily, dry, combination, sensitive).
— once you're clear, use these accordingly- cleanser, toner, targeted serum, eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen (≥50 spf).
— keep your bedding clean as well.
— no picking of skin on your lips, cuticle etc.
— gua sha to help improve blood circulation and lessen toxins.
— cold therapy may take three to five minutes of being uncomfortable, but your energy levels will be boosted for the rest of the day.
— remove makeup before you go to bed.
BODY CARE
— shower every day.
— exfoliate 2x a week.
— use body lotion (shea butter/aloe vera gel/coconut oil).
HAIR CARE
— wash hair 2-3x a week
— oil your scalp 2x a week, at least 3 hours before shampoo.
— hair mask 1x per week.
— never brush wet hair.
— use silk pillow case.
HYGIENE
— brush your teeth 2x a day, clean tongue and the roof of the mouth daily.
— floss daily.
— cut your nails 1x a week, never remove the cuticles.
— glycolic acid under arm for odor and discoloration.
— never use soap on your coochie.
Mental Glow Up-
MINDSET
— set clear goals- define and breakdown your aspirations.
— start your mornings with positive affirmations.
— surround yourself with uplifting content and people.
— be shamelessly selfish to your career and mental health, remove anyone or anything that doesn't align with your priorities and wellbeing.
— boost your brain health by these 4 neuroscience tools:
difficult first: start your day with the most difficult task (cortisol and dopamine are high in the body meaning that your body/mind is primed to work).
rest your eyes: introduce a micro-pause after learning by resting/closing your eyes - will help retain information better.
tomorrow's worries: write tomorrow's to-do list before bed as it is proven to be effective in helping you fall asleep.
find time to play: engage in low-stake play. can be anything you find fun but where the outcome doesn't matter (induces neuroplasticity + reduces stress).
MIND
— meditation might take as low as ten minutes, but your focus will be improved for the rest of the day.
— no social media after waking up and at least an hour before bed.
— keep aside 1 hr of time to read daily! reading a new book may take five hours, but you will keep the knowledge forever.
— journaling, gratitude.
— digital detox once a week or for 12 hours.
— limit unnecessary screentime, unfollow or cut off people you don't want to see.
JOURNALING
— choose a regular time each day to journal, making it a part of your routine.
— find a quiet, comfortable place free from distractions. light a candle if you want.
— allow your thoughts to flow without censoring or editing.
— write about your feelings and emotions to understand them better. write about things you are thankful for to boost your mood. write about your short-term and long-term goals. identify what triggers certain emotions or reactions
— set a timer for 5-10 minutes and write continuously during that time.
— reflect on both positive experiences and challenges.
— make lists, journal your thoughts on these questions.
— journal at night to clear your mind before bedtime, because emotions and thoughts lose their power once we acknowledge them.
— a gratitude practice may take five minutes, but your mindset will be shifted for the rest of the day.
AFFIRMATIONS
— customise affirmations to your needs.
Personal Life-
WEEKLY TASKS
— initiate small changes: begin with small, manageable tasks such as making your bed or cleaning your room every sunday.
— celebrate your success: reward yourself when you achieve your goals or have a consistently productive week. consider treats like buying flowers for yourself or watching your favorite show.
DAILY WORK
— set achievable goals: establish realistic goals for the day, week, or month ahead.
— track your progress.
— organise your work space, declutter your shelves etc.
— embrace the power of lists: keep a list of tasks to be done and their deadlines. this way, you start each day with a clear plan. to make it visually appealing and motivating, consider using productivity apps like evernote, habit tracker, or notion.
PRODUCTIVITY TIPS
— wake up early.
— plan ahead everything, do scheduling. you can use:
google calendar / notion / tasks .
— if the task takes less than 2 minutes to finish, do it immediately.
— countdown rule, if you are procrastinating, count 1-2-3-4-5 and jump.
— start slow, don't rush and try to do everything at one time.
— follow a proper routine, use app locks based on screentime.
— pomodoro technique, 25 min work, and 5 min break.
— schedule longer break times as well e.g 30 min nap.

Antibacterial Soaps for Men: Unveiling the Benefits
In the fast-paced world we live in, maintaining personal hygiene is crucial, especially for men who often face the challenges of dirt, sweat, and oil buildup. While regular soaps have their merits, finding the best soap for men in India can provide an extra layer of cleanliness and protection. Antibacterial soaps specifically formulated for men offer numerous benefits. In this blog, we will explore the benefits of antibacterial soaps for men and shed light on one popular ingredient, aloe vera, often found in men's face wash products.
The Benefits of Antibacterial Soaps for Men
Using antibacterial soaps tailored for men can offer numerous advantages. Let's delve into some of the key benefits:
Enhanced Germ Protection
Antibacterial soaps are formulated to target and eliminate harmful bacteria that regular soaps may not effectively eradicate. They contain active ingredients that have been proven to combat various bacteria strains, providing a higher level of germ protection.
Men often have a more active lifestyle, engaging in activities that expose them to dirt, grime, and sweat. Antibacterial soaps help remove these impurities while effectively killing bacteria, reducing the risk of infections and other skin-related issues.
2. Odor Control
Sweat, combined with bacteria, can lead to unpleasant body odor. Antibacterial soaps with deodorizing properties help neutralize odors caused by bacterial activity, leaving men feeling fresh and confident throughout the day.
Men who engage in physical activities or have demanding jobs will find antibacterial soaps particularly beneficial in controlling body odor, as they effectively eliminate odor-causing bacteria.
3. Acne Prevention and Control
Men, especially those with oily or acne-prone skin, can greatly benefit from antibacterial soaps. These soaps effectively remove excess oil, dirt, and bacteria that contribute to the development of acne.
Some antibacterial soaps contain ingredients like salicylic acid, known for its acne-fighting properties. These soaps can help unclog pores and prevent breakouts, resulting in clearer, healthier-looking skin.
4. Aloe Vera: Nature's Soothing Agent
Aloe vera, a plant renowned for its soothing properties, is a common ingredient in men's face wash products, including antibacterial soaps. Aloe vera-infused soaps provide additional advantages for men's skin.
Aloe vera has natural moisturizing properties, helping to hydrate the skin without leaving it greasy. This is particularly beneficial for men with dry or sensitive skin, as it helps maintain proper moisture balance.
The plant's anti-inflammatory properties make aloe vera an excellent choice for men who experience skin irritation or redness after shaving. It can help soothe and calm the skin, reducing post-shave discomfort.
5. Skin Hydration and Nourishment
Antibacterial soaps with added moisturizers and nourishing ingredients can replenish the skin's moisture barrier, preventing excessive dryness. This is especially important for men who frequently wash their faces or have naturally dry skin.
Men often neglect skincare routines, but using antibacterial soaps with hydrating properties can serve as a simple yet effective way to keep the skin healthy and nourished.
Conclusion
Incorporating antibacterial soaps into your daily hygiene routine can provide numerous benefits for men. From enhanced germ protection and odor control to acne prevention and the soothing properties of aloe vera, these specialized soaps cater to the unique needs of men's skin. Whether you lead an active lifestyle or simply desire to maintain cleanliness and hygiene, antibacterial soaps can be a valuable addition to your grooming arsenal. Consider trying an aloe vera-infused face wash for men and experience the advantages firsthand. Remember, healthy skin starts with proper hygiene!
