Thinking about Chaos Gue'vesa again, who view the Tau Empire as a more sustainable tool to chip away at the Imperium then Abaddon's forces.

They never use the names of the Chaos Gods openly, keeping their rituals private as possible, and eliminating their more "orthadox" counterparts that try to "take over".

Alternative names for the gods I thought of, that these Gue'vesa use:

The Watch Hound for Khorne, described as a vigilante dog who rewards loyalty and strength.

The Jewelled Serpent, who rewards pursuits of artistry and other passions.

The Mother of the Garden, goddess of natural cycles and family.

The Flame Raven, a many eyed bird, trickster and educator.

...

I also imagine many minor deities find followers within Tau space, Xenos ones included.

And of course, many finding the Greater Good Gestalt an interesting prospect, a new potential piece/player in The Great Game.

My Hellaverse Religions and Marriages. Or how my Asperger made up some odd worldbuilding over the dumbest reason imaginable.

We all know this shot. We all hate this shot (well... I do)

And it's for one, big reason... what the hell are marriages in Hell? Well. I was wondering that too and honestly the answer is very simple... Who gives a shit? Viv wanted a contrived story with forced marriage where Moxxie looks like a total bitch so she did it as well as she could and since she could not do it well it came out how it did.

But it did made me think at least. What would marriages in Hell look like? And that lead me to a downward spiral of thinking up in a few hours how it works and why it works. And here is the result. Ladies and gentleman and all the inbetweens (I don't judge) I present my first rewrite post which I mostly do for myself as a note for future in case dementia catches me like it did with my grandparents. One is dead, the other is dying, but enough about my happy life. Let's get into autistic rambling.

So, before we get to the marriage system I have in mind, first let's delve into another thing. God. Or in this case. Deities. As in my version of HB/HH I write about in my AU there are several of them. All of which are different High authority figures of which the main ones are five and I will name all of them: First one is Lucifer

Who in this version is... not as nice. In fact he is very, VERY cruel being. One that has little qualms about lives of anyone else. A being of Chaos from the times of the Rebellion in Heaven which he lead against God after he corrupted humanity to prove to The Almighty of his superiority, of that he is deserving of love much greater than mortals. Cast out from Heaven alongside all those that took side with him.

Now in Hell he embodies Pride that shaped the top layer of Hell. He is a Deity that preaches ultimate freedom. He preaches the idea of that you deserve all that you want. That every feeling, every desire you feel is correct and that you alone are deserving of those no matter what anyone says, no matter who it hurts. All that is important is you. That is the crux of those who follow him. Hedonists, narcissists, cruel, chaotic beings of pure selfishness who believe in righteousness of their desires and standing up against any authority that wants to keep them away from fulfilling their dreams and when all dreams become reality, there is no other outcome than Chaos which Lucifer adores.

They are called Light Takers. For Lucifer is one who brings light and those who follow him, take said light and all that they want.

That is Lucifer and now let's get to the Deity right under him that sides with him more so than the other one, another creature of Chaos (also be mindful that this is just short summary of those things, I can go more in depth about each one in other posts). Satan:

I don't have a better image as my idea of how he looks is pretty different. I imagine him as a centaur like being with a lower body similar to a bull, more human like torso, a head similar to one on this app with mighty wings and 4 arms. A brutal, relentless deity, one who's philosophy is to spread death and prepare for fight against the Heaven. To drown the world in the blood of his enemies and for the bodies and blood to rise so high so that he can approach the Heaven's gates.

His followers are mostly Imps. Many of them sharing to lesser or greater extent this philosophy of slaughter. It gives them meaning to kill and make their own trail of Blood as they follow in the hoove steps of the Lord of Slaughter. Followers of Blood they are called. A numerous force of berserkers devoted to mindless murder and Chaos.

With all this Chaos there has to be a balance point though right? You'd be correct. As on the opposite end of the Chaos spread by Lucifer and Satan is The Lord Governor:

Lucifuge Rofocale. He is in my version very similar to this depiction, although he very rarely smiles. He is known also as Bitter Governor for his rivalry with Lucifer in which he is mostly ignored by the latter as he tries to gain control over the Chaos of Hell.

He is the creature who values Order more so than anything. He is the Lawmaker. He is the lord of Laws that he writes into his Great Book, many laws there are, some of which contradict each other, some forgotten, other irrelevant. All his. He is the cruelty of order and subjugation incarnate. His name itself Lucifuge is one that was given to him after rebellion in which he took side of Lucifer in order to create a perfect society of his own. A society that was never to be. He who runs from Light for he was a Throne Angel of greater light than any other, a Light so strong he could never know even a smallest shadow. Light that he hated above all and could never fully rid himself off of it's taint.

When he came to Hell his Pride alongside Lucifer's shaped the Entire Ring. Lucifer controls the Central parts where Pentagram City is located and Lucifuge controls outer rings of Pride where his 5 towers on borders of Pride spreading to the blood sky surround the Chaos of Lucifer. His desire of control made manifest. A control he spreads with his Emissaries. Those who follow him and his laws faithfully and spread them with unmatched zeal. And his most faithful and powerful servant is the 4th of the Main Deities. The Silent King of all Ars Goetia.

King Baal. His version in my AU is based on this picture. A creature with lower body of a Spider and torso of a man with head of a King with long hair at the top. Which ever direction he looks, his face changes shape, if to his right it takes form of a cat and left is the frog. Among the deities he alongside Satan were born in Hell and were since time of their Hell's manifestation bitter rivals and his beloved is Queen of Gluttony Beelzebub which is often a target of mockery. A spider who beds a bug instead of eating it, but no care to those words are given, no words... Only silence. Pride was originally meant to be his as it would embody his silence, but it was not to be as the Fall happened and Pride was born from the quiet grounds.

He was named an Ars Goetia by Lucifuge to whom he pledged allegiance to in Silent Promise and ever since his invisible web spread across skies of Pride, woven from threads attached to every life among Ars Goetia and to cut it is to be a Heretic condemned to suffering at the hand of Silent King. Baal's Faithful who are his followers are mostly Ars Goetia. All believing in Hell's security to be utmost priority. To make it safe at any means necessary. To make sure that Hell will be eternal and all who fall into it's flames will never escape it's torment. He is the one who keeps the Ars Goetia in check to follow the laws Lord Lucifuge laid out. For maybe side of Chaos has numbers and ferocity, but Order has power and stability.

A balance that is most crucial to never ending conflict festered by the most enigmatic and possibly most terrible of the Five. Mephistopheles.

Who's looks are as everchanging as interpretations of how he looks. A Demon who fooled the world into believing he was, but a made up Demon in a story about Faust. Always cloaked in shadows creature, that despite looking a lot of times like the most basic denizen of Hell, is anything, but. As his nature is a mystery to all who inhabit it. A creature of Darkness that remembers the time of the first words that is alien to both Heaven and Hell. One that gave Hell it's currency made of Souls it caught with contracts they make on earth. A Creature that always maintains the balance of both sides. Making sure there is never a conclusion to this bitter conflict and flames of Discord never fade. Something that is cherished by his Brethren in Dark.

To be Mephisto's Brethren in Dark is to commune and listen to Mephisto's words. You are what you are. There is no change to that. So live your life as you see fit. Make of your life anything you want. Be it for order or chaos. Be it for your desire or duty. What is important is to know who you are and to believe in his words. It is to be on the side of yours and his and all that you must have will come to you, but the price will have to be paid, but it does not have to come from you now has it? No... You use others as much as you are used. You know that very well. You always will. For you are rotten, but so is everything else. So is that so bad?

There are many other deities. Such as King Paimon, by many considered as one of the if not the mightiest among Kings. A being who's promise of seeing his Labyrinth makes many shudder at the mere thought. Or the Sins who's patronage seek those who live on their rings. But the choice is up to the Hellborn... aside from mostly Hellhounds, who mostly only reside and do labor for the Beelzebub. A Cerberus insect of endless hunger.

But there is one more path. On the side of neutrality is also another side. Hell. To listen to the will of Hell.

Listeners of Hell are those who feel the very wind among the bloody streets. To know intimately the desires of the ground you walk on. To serve Hell as it's listener and to reinforce it's will. This is path for those who seek a different path from all other deities. But to do so is to give all that you are to the home you have. Not to protect, but understand it. Breathe with it and to be a true part of it. Closer than many others.

These are all the paths Hellborn can... or rather have to choose. Because atheism is not possible in this realm. Hellborn have to believe in something otherwise it means they are a traitor to the Hell itself. Whatever one believes in it is up to the Hellborn in question. But the choice it is one Hellborn MUST make.

Now... after this little mythology lesson where does this lead in terms of marriages? Well. The marriage in itself is also a deal between deities. Each side has their own contract that has to be signed by the priest of their respective deity. And each priest is of different kind. Emissary is a political for the most part. Mephisto's Brethren could be of any kind. A soldier of Baal. Hedonistic royal of Lucifer. Berserker of Satan. If both sides worship same deity it means less issues, but both contracts are still required.

Both sides need to sign their respective contract and then place their cut hands on those contracts as they are connected by their blank sides. Letting their blood seep into them as both of them touch them. Letting their blood, believes and word to connect them forevermore, for them both to be servants together. That is unless one has a change of faith which may require redoing of the process at the chance of being shunned by everyone around. For it is a shame to be someone to turns away from their God.

So yeah... This is how I would personally write certain part of Mythology of Hell. I know I did not elaborate on certain other things like Paimon or Sins, but I think this is a good enough of a starting point to the mythology I want to make with 3 sides here. Chaos, Order and Neutrality. All with their own strengths and weaknesses. All with their own stories and people who worship them. All with their own traditions, beliefs and personalities... All of it... because I was iffy by the fucking Exs and Ohs priest. I need serious mental help. This is just sad to look at. Then again if you read this far, I guess we all lost here. OKAY! It’s time for the Chimera Baby Lore Post!!

🌼 How did you come up with the OC's name?

In both a meta and non-meta sense, Chimera Baby’s name is probably the most notable part about them. The name Chimera Baby is a reference to m-flo and LiSA’s Tripod Baby, ft in the game Shadow the Hedgehog. For over 6 months that was her official non-official name, as I couldn’t decide on a name for her. I received over 15 name suggestions, but in July I ran a poll at which point she was dubbed Mira!

As it turns out, Mira happens to be the name of a binary star system. Two stars in a dance doomed to end in supernova—rather fitting for a chimera character, wouldn’t you say? I like to imagine Shadow was the one to name Mira something meaningful and space-themed like that, meanwhile Sonic named the other child something totally arbitrary (“His name is Mochi because he's white lol”)

On that note, I’ve also decided Sonic calls Mira “Chili” exclusively, because its silly and he would. So Mira, Chimera Baby, CB, and Chili are all names she goes by!

I like to depict them anywhere from baby to teenager, but in their most recent incarnation I’d say they’re somewhere between 15-17

At the moment no. She’s generally too aloof and off putting for anyone to approach her with romantic intent, but maybe in the future….

Besides combat training, CB enjoys the occasional outdoor activity. Sometimes her friends goad her into a game of soccer (which she is an absolute beast at), but she generally prefers solo sports such as archery, rock climbing, or hiking. Sometimes her brother convinces her to fish with him, but she finds it pretty boring (but would never turn him down)

💃 What do they do best?

Mira excels at hand-to-hand combat. As the reigning champion of Chao Karate, Mira takes their martial arts training very seriously. They also possess exemplary control over chaos energy, and incorporates this into their technique. While they may not be as fast as their fathers, they make up for it with not just raw power, but an extremely disciplined technique.

Her skills also happen to make her an amazing breakdancer, but she’ll break your face if you ask her to demonstrate.

A tie between making her baby brother laugh for the first time and the time she drew first blood for the first time in a fight with Shadow

The aftermath of almost drowning as a child after she saved a chao friend.

Basically its a mix of me poking fun at the phenomena of Sonadow fan-children all looking kinda similar, and this plush reminding me of actual chimerism in animals and wanting to create a character with that characteristic! Over the months my ironic love for her has grown into genuine fondness—so while she remains primarily as a parody, she’s also a character I’m having fun exploring concepts with <3 Much like both Shadow and Sonic the Hedgehog, you can take her as seriously or not seriously as you wish!

One little brother Mochi—he is a perfect angel who is also her closest friend. She adores him, but you wouldn’t know from seeing them interact.

⚠️ What is the OC's relationship w/their parents like?

So I mentioned that Mira was reared in a chao garden, where her dads basically only visited once every couple days if not longer (Sonic and Shadow are not very attentive parents, go figure). However, this was honestly a perfectly fine arrangement as I headcanon mobian children don’t need the same level of parental contact as human children (Hell, Cream is kind of an outlier FOR having a present parental figure in her life).

That being said, I imagine Shadow spent more time with her when she was really young before stepping away, which made her really latch onto Shadow more than Sonic during that time. Especially seeing as Sonic is the most laissez-faire parent ever but simultaneously was the type to abandon her on a floating platform in midair with a trail of badniks so she can learn how to homing attack.

Much like her father before her, her latent Black Arms genes have caused her to develop a burning desire to destroy Shadow—a fact that Shadow seems strangely indifferent about. While this fact has pretty much wrecked their previous relationship, there are circumstances where Mira will put aside her goal and work with Shadow against a common enemy or towards a common objective (of course, this doesn’t stop her from trying to stab him in the back during these operations).

Her relationship with Sonic has remained mostly the same, with Sonic treating her much more like a friend or little sister than a daughter. They have lunch together at least once a month, and usually she’ll go to him for advice on any social interaction matter—conversations that have become much more frequent now that she’s begun to make friends.

💗 What do you like most about the OC?

I think I popped off with her design—chimerism is such an interesting concept and I loved balancing her two sets of genes without making it seem too busy. I also love her dynamic of trying to kill Shadow and how you would think her growing up in chao garden basically alone would have contributed to that, but that's not the case at all she’s just like that <3

‼️ Who is your OC's arch-nemesis or rival?

Shadow the Hedgehog is her self-proclaimed nemesis, but she makes a fair share of enemies and rivals wherever she goes due to her punch-first-ask-questions-later attitude. One notable rival is another OC of mine named Sauvik the Badger—another cold and brooding anti-hero much like her. Sauvik and Mochi are something of a team, but being a protective big sister she wants him to stay away from her brother. This generally leads to a fight that Mochi is inevitably forced to break up.

I jsut had an idea for Slow Boiled Stone Egg au.

Basically, in the base jttw canon story, both Buddha and Guanyin are supposed to be present DURING the fight with Macaque. So you can bet that after a battle like that, Guanyin is going to insist on Wukong getting a checkup, like... he's pregnant for crying out loud and just had to kill his mate. While she is doing that, Gold Star basically comes down to get statements and discovers A) Wukong is a Stone Monkey, B) he pregnant, and C) he very much wants to keep this a secret. Now, Gold Star always liked Wukong. It's why he tried also hard to defend him when the Jade Emperor was all for killing him for his insolence from the get-go. Learning his favorite troublemaker had been a member of his favorite species of extinct primate celestial this time is a big shock to him, and he did so after discovering he had to kill his own mate, who without the magic to keep up a glamour, is now very obviously seen as another Stone Monkey. He's gonna know what that means for Wukong, being ghe msot knowledgeable about Stone Monkeys and their mating habits, and he'll feel a lot of sympathy for him.

I imagine he'll have a talk with the Pilgrims, just letting that they should take it easy on Wukong for a bit after the death of his mate, and offhandedly mentioning the fact Stone Monkeys mate for life. And kindly ask that they follow Wukong's request to keep these facts hidden and secret, and to respect that Wukong is in grieving and likely will not ever truly be able to find romantic love again.

Oh gosh, and Guanyin and Gold Star were likely unaware that Macaque didn't know until the fight was over. Buddha probably did but he has a lot on his cosmic plate rn.

The PIlgrims, the Gods, and even Guanyin herself wanted to step in and stop the fight; but Wukong refused. He demanded that it stay between him and his mate, that he can find a way to calm him down enough to tell him.

In the Jttw Stone Egged au: Wukong is successful.

However, in the Slow Boiled au: he tragically isn't.

Wukong is sobbing, wailing, screaming over the deceased monkey before him. His Pilgrim brothers are so disturbed by what they just seen that they can't even speak. Guanyin is stoney, trying to hide her own tears of sympathy as she tries to approach the monkey to determine his and his unborn's condition. Wukong refuses to move from his spot drapped over his unmoving mate.

Meanwhile, Gold Star stands nearby. A look of dismay, confirmation, and horror upon his face.

I hc that Gold Star has some huge empathy, not only for demons, but for any form of life - as the planet Venus is now scienfically believed to have once had a basis of life similar to what later developed on Earth's pre-Cambrian. The primordial god of Venus had to watch all life on his planet die off, whether due to supernatural or cosmic changes. When he became the Jade Emperor's right-hand man, Gold Star advocates for all life, now matter what - including a little chaos monkey he suspected was a reminder of the far past.

When the Monkey King and the Six Eared Macaque fought and the Macaque died; Gold Star basically witnessed what very well could be the last member of an extinct species kill their mate in self-defence. And upon realising that both monkeys were an extinct species of celestial primate? You might as well have crushed a dodo egg right infront of him.

Stone Monkeys mate for life.

Sun Wukong is an *immortal* Stone Monkey. One that's carrying a Stone egg (!!).

And he has just killed his mate in self-defence.

Gold Star bluntly states the above bullet points to the Pilgrims when asked why he himself is tearing up. All four companions weep with sympathy as the knowledge sets in, Tripitaka in particular blaming himself for banishing Wukong just before the Macaque tried ambushing them. Had the monk maybe have been more trusting of his student then maybe both monkeys could be alive right now.

At some point during the grieving, a mass of chains rise up from the Underworld and pull the six-eared monkey down into the depths, ignoring how the Monkey King screams and digs through the dirt to follow his mate.

The stench of death magic hangs in the air.

Wukong stare blankly at the dirt. His moonlight has been taken into the Underworld. Somewhere he himself is unwelcome.

In the next few years he attempts to bursts through the gates to retrieve his mate, only to recieve word that the Liu'er Mihou is not listed among the dead throughout all the levels of Hell. Wukong cries once more, now bittersweet, that his mate has passed through the Bridge of Naihe into the next life.

Wukong spends the next thousand years waiting.

Yashiro and Tsukasa's Relationship

You have to admit that kiss took you by surprise, didn't it? Suddenly Tsukasa, who had been missing for so long, returns in all his glory making everyone talk about him.

The war between Tsunene and Hanene had started hahaha I particularly found it interesting how most people didn't notice the signs that Tsukasa gave throughout the series about how he saw Yashiro.

We must assume that Tsukasa is a controversial boy, totally unpredictable and difficult to read, but one thing that helped me see the signs is that I like to separate the pieces before analyzing.

What do you mean, analyze the pieces?

I don't analyze Tsukasa in general, I divide it into periods. There is the 4-year-old Tsukasa, the 13-year-old and the sealed one. The three are the same person but they are totally different with some similarities.

Tsukasa child is kind, empathetic and emotional. 13 year old Tsukasa is similar, but we don't have much information about him yet, sealed Tsukasa is chaos, but apparently he is also emotional. We can now follow this side of him. The way Tsukasa was dealing with Yashiro in chapter 107 is surprisingly contrary to how he usually is.

For a boy who gets angry quickly and acts aggressively at the slightest opportunity when disturbed, reacting so patiently with a child who throws a tantrum, who screams and hits him shows that there is still the 4 and 13 year old Tsukasa there.

Looks like Hanako isn't the only one who's a good actor, twin thing, you know. It's funny how sometimes I can see the 13-year-old Tsukasa in him, always with that melancholy look…

It's as if in the midst of that chaos there is a calm that few people can see. This calm that Amane loved, but he couldn't bear the storms. So, it all started with Nene. Little Tsukasa's eyes shone for the first time in so long, someone hugged him so willingly.

So the stars, you know, those stars that always appear when the characters are enchanted, happy, or positively surprised by something

they appear here.

So he is relieved when Kou says he has never kissed her

He asks Yashiro if she likes him or his brother. He wanted to show Yashiro about Amane's past, and he does so from the beginning.

Then, the sealed Tsukasa takes her to the tea party and purposely makes her see Amane from the past. He makes Yashiro take the teacher's seal, and another piece of Amane's history.

Hahaha of course we know he uses Nene to take out the Yorishiros, I talked about that.

But let's focus on the relationship between them in addition to related objectives.

How does Tsukasa see Yashiro?

Isn't that the golden question? His eyes shine in childhood when she hugs him, he is relieved when Kou denied kissing her, he abruptly approaches her face when she denies kissing or dating Amane, he regresses when he almost hits her head on the floor when Yashiro got in the way with Mitsuba (scary), he might not have killed her but hurt her the same way he did Kou. Then, he returns to the school festival and asks her to play with him again, then the kiss and his good reaction to him.

Aren't they signs?

This doesn't guarantee anything, but the signs are there. The twin who would fall in love with the girl his older brother loves… What would be the best revenge for the older brother who killed him?

What if Amane had killed him because Tsukasa had fallen in love with the girl he loves? hahahaha this crossed my mind even though it seemed so unlikely, but was Tsukasa kissing Yashiro something you thought would happen?

But then, Amane feels guilty and doesn't accept any justification for killing someone. He punishes himself all the time thinking about it. But he would explain why he is so jealous and insecure (in part, because there is no shortage of reasons for Amane to be like this, I could list them all day hahaha)

But imagine, the classic story of twins who fall in love with the same girl and one of the brothers kills the other for the girl's love. And in a worse case scenario, what if he killed them both because they were guilty to him.

But what if Tsukasa decided to give up Nene because Amane fell in love with her?

Ok I exaggerated now, sorry XD hahahaha

It's funny how the relationship between the three fluctuates like that. In another post I talked about how it would work according to Tsukasa's goals. Using Nene to manipulate Hanako and remove the seals, if you want to know more about this hypothesis, click here.

But since we are talking about how their relationship would work without considering these goals, because there is a possibility, after all, Amane also had a goal but fell in love with Nene, why wouldn't Tsukasa be the same?

Maybe he was just fulfilling Amane's wish, to meet Nene again. Ah, the hypotheses, how could we adopt just one? There are so many possibilities…

But honestly? It seems that Tsukasa, dissatisfied and hurt that his brother killed him even though he sacrificed himself for him, may have felt that he didn't do enough.

Amane still hates me, what could I do to make him love me? What I did before wasn't enough, so what is his wish? Meet Nene again?

And Tsukasa didn't make that happen? He said he can feel a desire within the heart of whoever summons him, if that wasn't the only thing, what else would it be?

It's as if Tsukasa is spending the last of his energy to fulfill his older brother's wish, and Nene is part of that wish.

Melancholy, isn't it? You try hard to make the person you love most love you back, you think they hate you, so you do everything for them to make them love you, but in the end they stab you. When you regain consciousness, you are hurt, but you love him enough to forgive. So, you try again, you try to fulfill his wish, even if you have to disappear again (when your yorishiro seal is removed).

And you work so hard, but what will you get in return?

I'm going to admit that I loved that Tsukasa kissed Yashiro, not because I ever considered Tsunene, but because it shows that Tsukasa was always much more than he shows us.

Because he is a storm, but you know, every storm has its lull.

yeah :( fr justice for kabru. toshiro would def have to learn how to handle kabru's ptsd episodes bc i doubt he's ever seen good models for supporting people with panic disorders/anxiety/similar mental health issues before, but after consulting with others, i think he'd be able to support kabru by staying calm and present and doing the "name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, etc." exercise with him. the first real struggle in kabru's healing journey will be getting him to admit that he's not okay :sob:

Currently drawing JBM but it's taking the piss because I've decided to do an actual background for once so in the meantime here's a list of things I've included in his design and the thoughts/intentions behind them:

Hearing aids on both ears- he's partially deaf in his left ear (something he developed in his childhood) and he ruptured his right eardrum causing permanent damage which caused hearing loss

PUNK SYMBOLS!! Purple & Yellow laces- to show he supports/is a part of the LGBTQ+ and is Anti-Racist. Safety Pins to show that he's a safe person to approach. Blue ribbon - symbol for Child abuse awareness. Anarchy symbols + Anti-IRIS symbol, BLM fist symbol and "Eat the rich + Feed the poor" patches. Pins with his pride flags (transgender+ MLM flags) and an ASD rainbow infinity symbol pin (I have yet to draw him with one but he also wears an Anti-Autism Speaks patch)

Choppily done mullet with green hair dye- it's meant to look like he's done it himself, he has both sides shaved and has kept the middle grown out. The story behind it is that he was never allowed to cut his hair short as a kid but shaved all of it off when he joined IRIS- he combines the two into a mullet now to show his defiance of both (which is why he also dyes it- something neither would allow him to do before).

He has a visually bent nose and missing front tooth- these are both from separate fights (he does have another missing tooth but you can't see it like you can with his front teeth) the missing front tooth happened after he got into a fight with some older kids while he was in highschool- his nose got bent during one of his early missions with IRIS. This is on top of the amount of other scars he has from various other fights, experimentations and other shit from over the years

He has a few spider themed tattoos(he's a Spider-Man kinnie), as well as an Earth Kingdom (From Avatar the Last Airbender) BRO WOULD BE AN EARTHBENDER FIGHT ME ON THIS‼️‼️

His eyes are an unnatural blue colour- due to the side effects of IRIS' experimentation- his actual eye colour is Hazel/Grey. They glow in the dark- (while Marvin's does in relation to them being cat like-) Jackie's act more similar to electrical glowing

Jackie is British-Irish here (why he's wearing a British patch) he was born and raised in the North-West of England (most likely in Liverpool as Liverpool has 79% of it's citizens be of Irish descent) his mothers side are all from Ireland and his father's side are British (You can imagine the absolute chaos that was the result from this). And yes Chase does remind him of him that he's EXTREMELY British every ten seconds (Chase has immediate beef with him and it's so entertaining to watch)

Jackie knows a few different languages- English, BSL and a small amount of Gaelic, but he also knows some German from Henrik too.

Jackie is the youngest out of all the egos but they all thought he was older because of the fact that he easily has the most muscular/strong body frame and they initially thought he was taller (thank god for platform boots)

Don't know if this has already been done as a fanfic (If it has, I'd love to know where i can find and read them please!), and genuinely this might be fuelled by my insomniac brain running high off a movie binge...

Just now I'd love to read a fanfic/series of oneshots of characters from Star Wars having a movie nights watching some films from our world.

Whether Original, Prequel, Sequel trilogy - doesn't matter! Invite everyone! Or only have it be specific characters or trilogy only! Heck do all three of you'd like - I know I'd read them all, sounds fun!

Just brought a smile to my face as I was watching some films, and thought "I wonder how they might react to this?" I think it can be particularly fascinating to see their reactions, hear their thoughts and different perspectives vs ours on how they feel about the films, and even maybe if it effects them at all afterwards. Particularly if this is set during Prequel era it could be amusing or entertaining to see if this causes any reactions through the Jedi temple/Order and even the Clones too!

Heck! Maybe even go full AU/Isekai with it and have a person from our world fall into theirs every other night for a film night XD

Here's a few I thought could be interesting, may add more later, and my thoughts on why (Apologies that some are more in-depth than others. Some cane to mind in wonderful details while ithers struck my brain like lightning spur of the moment "Oh! This one too!"):

1) A Quiet Place (The one that kind of kickstartered this idea): I feel like this would be such a GREAT one just for the questions it would pose and discussions between characters on how they would handle such a situation, communication techniques, survival techniques etc Honestly think this would be a really good one to hear from Clone Wars era gang in particular just because between the clones and our favourite jedi I feel there are some fun dialogue to bounce between characters.

2) The Hunger Games series: Just this series of films from any of them would be... An experience to say the least!

3) Moulin Rouge: The chaotic nature of the Prequel/Clone Wars Era characters watching this could be outstanding - all depending on just what direction you're want to take with character reactions - I feel there is such peak comedy to be had here. Heck, even having the original trilogy watching this one could lead to some hilarious misunderstandings!

4) Lord of the Rings series: The parallels you could make for the wars in each era to the inner battle for the Jedi of the dark side and keeping balance as a whole - truly could have dome good back-and-forths and maybe even some battle strategy debates.

5) Each Era reacting to each other's films: Is it extremely meta? Yes. Could it be confusing? Most likely. Could it still be fun if written and handled well? Absolutely. There's so much potential for hurt/comfort, fluff, angst, comedy and utter chaos to be had with this one.

6) Inside Out: Oh the possibilities! I'd rather love to see a lighthearted whimsical approach to this, but you could approach this in so many ways. I feel like the Jedi could use this to potentially help Younglings/Padawans with processing certain emotions and understanding them.

7) Wall-E: For one, beautiful love story. And another, just imagine the droid appreciation!

8) Steven Universe The Movie: From the wonderful songs that I feel could strike a cord in many a beloved character - I feel this could spark a discussion on feels of loneliness, isolation and potential abandonment issues for a CERTAIN few.

9) Train to Busan: I'd love to see any of the Star Wars react to a horror flick especially a Zombie one and this one is phenomenal! And that emotional punch at the end just... Aaaaaah!

10) Lilo & Stitch: Found family, themes of Identity & finding purpose, and unique characterisations of Alien species.

11) Five Nights at Freddy's: Similar to my reasons on The Hunger Games that this would be an EXPERIENCE - not to mention just trying to rationalise anything happening.

12) Poirot - Murder on the Orient Express: Yes, I very specifically mean the 2010 David Suchet version (It is the best by far with David Suchet fantastic portrayal and does not change the ending or events in the narrative unlike some versions) No film night is complete without a good murder mystery and this is one of the best. I'd love to see the theories and guesses they'd toss around, the shock at the ending and questions it provokes on the justice system and justice itself.

13) Clue/Glass Onion: We've had a serious murder mystery, so how about some funny ones too! Feel we could have a number of confused characters and those laughing their arse off.

14) Taken: Similar reasons to Moulin Rouge - oh my gosh, could you imagine Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padmae's reactions?

15) V for Vendetta: A part front being an amazing film (The graphic novel is even more incredible! Honestly, they're both great) I couldn't begin to think of how Anakin's brain would malfunction. Heck, imagine Luke and Leia seeing it with some context on their mother's identity!

16) Invasion of the Body Snatchers/The Thing: Creature feature! (At least I've always thought of them as such 😅) My goodness, the shock. The accusations. The paranoia. So many good reactions you could get! And I feel there is great potential for the 'Aftermath' .

17) Titanic - Tears abundant. Devastation. The pure tragedy - or maybe frustration depending on how you prefer to take it? I could imagine some characters questioning why characters don't just do this or use this specific item? Could end becoming a critique.

18) West-Side Story (1961): Really wanted throw a musical in and "In America" popped into my head.

19) Much Ado About Nothing: Oh I don't see this causing any has any realisations about some of their own relationships - no suree! 😁

20) Pokemon The First Movie: I would LOVE to see what they thought of Pokemon! And also what happens to Ash in this film because by the force, this film can still make me cry even after 20 years!

21) Maquia When the Promised Flower Blooms: This film broke my friends. It broke me. I have no doubt it would break the anyone in Star Wars - and I would love to see it.

22) The Neverending Story: Quintessential heroes journey. Okay, truthfully we all know the scene that made me list this.

23) Jumanji: Don't know if this will unequivocally confuse every character or if they would enjoy the fun adventure?

24) Indiana Jones series: Would Han be flattered, confused or irritated by an imposter?

25) Matilda: I 100% believe they would think Matilda is a force sensitive child and would love the way she uses her abilities - and not to mention the judgement of Miss Trunchball!

There's so many more that can be done, and more that I might add later! And there's even a few series I'd love to throw in there: Hazbin Hotel, The Legend of Vox Machina, Lackadaisy, Digital Circus, Poirot etc

so I used this au generator to assign you an au, this fan fiction trope generator to give you a trope/situation/sometimes another au, feel free to keep clicking until you get something that inspires you.

then try to come up with the title, plot, vibe, and details of a fic including whatever the generators gave you. you don’t actually have to write it, just put the concept into the world! this is basically just a thought experiment

- we got teenage!gallavich, i’m talking season one ian-still-has-freckles little gallavich 

- ian gets a scholarship to the camp via a raffle his school did for kids on the honor role. technically, lip got it, but he handed the voucher off to ian because he’s caught up with karen at the time and wants his brother to have a good summer. that’s why ian’s there. 

- mickey is put into foster care for one reason or another, something with terry, and his foster family sends him. that’s why he’s there. mandy’s around here somewhere, too. 

- all the cabins are really close together, but ian + mickey are placed separately. right next to each other, actually. ian and mickey both happened to take the low bunks next to the windows, which are facing each other. 

- ian recognizes mickey as someone from the south side, like him. he also befriends mandy early on, but he doesn’t really speak to mickey. 

- UNTIL! there’s a power outage on the camp grounds, knocking out the lights in all of the cabins. And Ian sees a flashlight in the window across from his when he’s trying to go to sleep. 

- with the chaos of everything, it doesn’t work, and a generator powers up some of the cabins. for safety reasons, they send those without power to sleepover in the cabins with power so that everyone’s together and warm and guess what?? mickey and ian end up together. sharing a bed because there aren’t enough.

- they bond, but their schedules don’t line up the most and they end up doing the notes-in-the-window thing every night while trying to sleep for a week. they also pass this old notebook back and forth, giving each other doodles and thoughts and questions through the pages. they talk about how weird the experience is, how different the kids are from southsiders. 

- then, they get to pick new classes at the beginning of the following week. for the first time since the power outage, mickey approaches him directly and they pick similar classes

- they keep using the notebook throughout the summer, writing down things that are too hard to say out loud like “you’re pretty, red” and “i think i really like you and i don’t know if that’s a good idea”

- they spend free time together in the field, mickey sitting there while his sister and ian make flower crowns. 

- they do other arts and crafts together. ian makes them matching ‘friendship bracelets’ and mickey claims to think that it’s stupid. but he wears it anyway, just to see him smile

- idk man you get a summer’s worth of them being cute but not actually dating. mickey causes some trouble, they end up kissing at the camp fire, some sneaking around is involved, there’s a color war (which is like, fun team-based games like capture the flag or huge water fights) where they’re on opposite teams, maybe a little pride event at some point since we’re in the summer time. generally just huge summer love vibes

- i imagine there’s some issues near the end of camp bc mickey likes what they have but he isn’t sure if it can continue when they go back to chicago, he only feels safe doing their whole thing bc they’re away from literally everyone they know.

- one possible ending is mickey telling ian how much he cares, but they have to wait until they’re older and he’s away from his dad for good/he’s more comfortable in his sexuality. BAM! possible timeskip sequel, bittersweet ending. the other ending is ian offering him a place in the gallagher home, BAM! domestic vibes, some found family, and it’s more happy. either one could work depending on what i want from the fic

i have about 30 minutes or so before i'll head to bed but i wanted to share some snippets, as per usual. i've been writing more on the natori/muta fic since it's been on my mind more lately. in particular, i added more to this conversation between haru and baron. i'm realizing i do really enjoy writing for baron tbh

Haru breaks their eye contact for him, there, feeling suddenly rather bare in a way she doesn’t truly recall Baron ever managing before. He’s quite intuitive, she thinks, when he wants to be. When she peeks back up at him, she finds that he has given into temptation, eyes downcast and lightly lidded as he takes a small drink. Her own gaze drifts back to the tea cup he had provided her with; she wonders if maybe it’s the same set he had offered when they first met.

“I’ll be fine, Baron,” she says with a shrug and a brief cant of her head so that she looks rather winsome.  (She thinks perhaps she might have learned it from him.)

“Then I have said my piece,” Baron responds, nodding once in brief approval. “In truth, I have the intuition that everything will ultimately be quite well.”

Here the unnamed discomfort that had been lingering between them dissipates; Haru smiles again.

“It’s hard for me to imagine you’d ever feel differently.”

Baron returns her smile. “To live without hope is to cease to live.”

“And who said that?”

“I did, just now,” Baron replies readily, and with such matter-of-fact ease she almost can’t tell if he’s being stoically facetious or not. He’s raised his teacup to his lips. “But we all have Dostoevsky to thank for writing it.”

The rest of their visit passes in relative peaceable familiarity.

and then there is haru and natori interacting, bc Of Course

“He singlehandedly plunged our kingdom into chaos and destitution the likes of which we’ve yet to experience since. I do apologize for being short with you, Miss Haru, but I will not apologize for continuing to hold him accountable for his actions,” Natori explains primly without wasting a breath. “I do believe he has made his bed, and now he must lie in it. I feel that quite strongly.”

Here Haru pauses, trying to decide how best to crack this particular nut. There is something about all this hullabaloo which has become quite obvious to her, but it must be brought to light with care. Natori and Muta have some curious similarities— one of those is the tendency to become stubbornly uncommunicative upon being made vulnerable. But where Muta simply stops talking and starts glaring, Natori covers up his intransigence with circular language and polite topic changes.

Most likely it gets him quite far in his line of work, avoiding those tough conversations, and anyone less (stubborn) might indeed let it happen without realizing what was transpiring. But Haru just might have the both of them beat in this matter. She had sped out in front of an approaching truck to save a small life and do what was right to her; what obstacle was a pair of brick walls in comparison?

“I understand,” she starts thoughtfully, averting her eyes for just a moment so that she might appear less shrewd than she’s feeling right now. “It’s just… I’m only curious, after all, given His Majesty the king didn’t seem to have any recollection of the event at all.”

Haru spares a glance at Natori here, trying to gauge his reaction, trying to evaluate if he’s gathered already where she is going with this line of thought. He’s gazing upon her with the slightest squint to his eyes, tired lines etched beneath them she’d never noticed before, and with a telling brittleness to the thin, straight line he’s pursed his mouth in. 

Absolutely, he knows where she is leading, and she wonders if he will let her finish.

“Of course, maybe by virtue of being the king he didn’t suffer nearly to the same degree as the everyday citizen did,” Haru continues brazenly, but in a soft and nonchalant enough voice that she hopes he doesn’t catch on. “But even from just the short time I got to know him he’s seemed like the type to have a low threshold for hardship. It wouldn’t take much, would it..?”

Natori holds her gaze with a quite level one of his own for a good many moments more than she would have expected, but he does eventually look away. Still, his no doubt long-practiced professionalism remains, and there’s hardly a hint left of his initial anxiety over meeting with her when he finally does mechanically respond. “Please do forgive me— I do not see the value in continuing this particular line of questioning. I politely request that the matter is dropped. However, I shall be happy to indulge whatever other curiosities you may possess, provided they do not eclipse my responsibilities to the kingdom.”

Haru assumes that to mention his retirement shall not get her anywhere.

what are some power dynamics that you think could happen beetween a Page of Heart, Sylph of Blood and Witch of Light?

also so sorry if this is not something you do .x.

I can easily see the Witch of Light and Page of Heart being inseparable best friends. Since I've actually seen that and its a pretty common friendship. Well, Depending on the general mental state of the witch.

And, well, Blood players are blood players. They'd probably be friends with them both regardless even if the two wanted to push each-other off a cliff one day. Which might sound like an extreme, but lets be honest with ourselves, once you cross someone with a Witch class they don't always go for the reasonable response regardless of Aspect attached.

Although, I personally don't think its very easy for Heart players and Light players to exactly get along very often. Its a bit of a rarity but it does and can happen, just very rough to get more of an explanation for in a deeper manner.

This is, on some level,  because of how Light players typically are outwards about being themselves and don’t often have to really struggle with figuring things out on their own or simply being themselves naturally; probably in even more ways than they might think at first as they are self aware, and Heart players tend to struggle with truly being themselves without a MASSIVE amounts of internal and external conflict with themselves, with others, with the influence of outside forces, etc. Heart aspect is all about that identity crisis, and when they inverse its all about that indecision and the Mind Vs Emotions and a lot more complex stuff going on there. While the individual Light player might have something similar, its not quite in the same intense manner as a Heart player nor will it ever be in the exact same context of identity as a Heart player will have to deal with. This can cause certain personalities that are typically attributed between the two aspects to have a lot of friction against each-other. Kind of in a way, it depends on the Attachment style of the person/characters in question.

 The heart aspect is all about the “self”. And Light is about having knowledge. When a Heart player is sitting with a lot of thoughts on if who they really are really is that, but a Light player who might have a cockier or more confident personality and seems to have it more figured out. That can definitely lead to mixed results. Pages are also, naturally insecure and have a difficult time getting their shit together to get to where they need to.  Page of Heart is a decent class and can become a vital person to peoples self realizations, They just need to figure shit out to become useful on their teams for that purpose; They can help both the Sylph of Blood and Witch of Light find out more about their inner deeper selves over time. They could possibly grow with eachother very gracefully as a friendship. Or crash and burn horrifically and lead to a lot issues within a session at any given point. 

With this in mind, it becomes more about the dynamics of the Heart and Light. As the blood player easily can befriend them both and possibly be a mediator or someone who gives both (often times unwanted) advice, and might be pushy about it or go the slightly wrong way about it but mean well too. The Witch might have complaints about what the Blood player is doing, but will know, to some degree, that the Sylph is correct. and The page might accidentally be super insightful on an emotional level with why things are proceeding the way they are, based on maybe Witch’s stubbornness on being wrong - the sylph’s tendency to smother others, or maybe even the pages naivety getting in the way.

Imagine how a witch of light and a page of heart might clash based on these factors. How would the Page decide to help the Witch? Would the Sylph be in between, take a “least destructive side” approach inside the chaos?

A Witch of Light would be domineering and try to do “whats best”, the sylph will push for a positive relationship for all three and a solution to the issues, and the Page might try and fail to prove they are emotionally smart enough to make theior own choices and take offense to both their attitudes - or maybe just the witch’s and have a tolerance for the Sylph’s.

Sorry in advance for the word dump. I have too many thoughts and no energy to sort them or try to be eloquent about it tonight. Pfft!

I love to imagine crossovers between TUA and Misfits and lemme tell you that I would ship the heck outta Luther/Kelly. Gorilla jokes at their expense aside, they would be so cute. She would be so good to him and vice versa, because Kelly wants someone genuine and Luther is the least performative of all the siblings and, even though he makes some very poor decisions, he is, generally, well-meaning and doing his best. Kelly’d also square up to Nathan or Diego if she thought they were being too rough with Luther. Heck, she’d throw hands with Reginald Hargreeves, zero hesitation lol

I also kind of like the idea of Alisha or Nathan and Diego. Romantically? Platonically? Both??? Who knows. But the dynamic they could have would be entertaining regardless.

Alisha’d 100% flirt with Diego though, that’s undeniable. I could probably ship them, but I’m unsure if it’d be shallow and brief, or if they’d be good for each other. That’s always a toss-up with Alisha, who I think struggles a lot more with self-esteem than she lets on. But I mostly just love squishing the more stoic, quiet characters with the extroverted party animals who rarely take anything seriously, and these two would be an interesting if short-lived combination.

Nathan would drive Diego crazy half the time no matter what, but Nathan’s just enough of a pitiable disaster who is, for the most part, delightfully oblivious to that disastrousness, that I think Diego’d deal with him just to help him out. And then they could bond by badmouthing their dads and talking about how much they love their moms. Win/win. Definitely one of their favorite shared pastimes.

All three of them try so hard to pretend they don’t have issues when they clearly do, and I can totally see either duo being chaotic while still being good at bringing softness and an itty bitty bit of vulnerability out of the other. Diego has pretty good EQ despite being emotionally constipated, and Alisha and Nathan can have decent EQ but they reserve that emotional energy primarily for people they’ve decided are safe to care about. Their differences would end up balancing them out, I think.

But honestly any combination of characters would be so fun.

Klaus and Alisha? Gossip, gossip, gossip. I think Klaus might think Alisha’s a bit mean, but his superpower may as well be getting along with anyone, so they’d be fine, and Alisha would warm up to him. The insane stories they could tell each other! I can hear Klaus’ cackling and mock scandalized gasps already. Klaus and Nathan? Chaos and shenanigans 24/7 and surprisingly insightful heart-to-hearts because their brains tickle along the same planes and wavelenths. Klaus and Simon? Similar to Klaus and Viktor. I can kinda see Klaus being a little protective of Simon in a big bro/little bro way, even if he thinks Simon’s a bit creepy. I could also see Simon coming to Klaus occasionally for advice if only because he’s so easily approachable and non-judgemental.

Obviously Viktor and Simon have a lot in common, being the quiet outcasts. Simon might not enjoy Viktor’s tendency to have a victim complex, but I think they could relate and they’d both be fantastic listeners. And omggg, Simon and Diego sparring together! Doing vigilante stuff together! Even Simon and Five being best bros would be really good; they’re both very much the characters who shoulder the most responsibility in protecting their friends/family, often alone, and they’re both the most pragmatic of their circle. However the thought of Simon and Luther in the same room would both be sweet and create a shockwave of social awkwardness that could be felt within a 10 mile radius.

I could almost ship Kelly and Diego, too, actually, now that I think about it, but I dunno if they’d click like that. There’d be a lot of respect for each other, yeah, but Diego tends to gravitate toward people he feels need help and Kelly has issues, but she’s not really the sort of person who needs anyone, emotionally or otherwise. She’s fiercely self-sufficient and doesn’t like feeling like she isn’t. I guess her and Diego are a lot alike in that way, maybe too much for it to work out as anything but platonic.

I think Ben would probably get along with most anyone except maybe Alisha and Nathan. He just wouldn’t have anything in common with Alisha, and we all know Nathan can and will make fun of someone any chance he gets. Ben might not be as sensitive as Luther, but I think his feelings could very easily be hurt by Nathan at worst. At best he’d find him grating. Nathan’s too performative and takes too much delight in bullying people, and I don’t think Ben would want to expend the energy on him if he didn’t have to.

Luther also would get along with... most of them. Except for Nathan. Nathan would make him cry without even trying. Sorry, Luther. But that’s why Lu needs Kelly. LOL

Struggling to figure out Curtis, though. Curtis is the gang’s moral compass, no doubt, but he’s also a bit of a snob and while he cares for all his friends, I think they’re really just friends out of circumstance, besides Alisha. He’d probably like Viktor but not care to get to know him. Klaus is fine, Ben’s fine, Luther’s fine, Five... Curtis would probably respect him but not really like him. They’d really have nothing in common beyond time travel and Curtis would find him too bossy and sharp to be pleasant.

Maybe Curtis would have a better chance at being friends with Allison and Diego. Diego really only for the shared athletic interest, and Allison because Curtis has always felt like the gang, sans Alisha, is a bit beneath him. Allison is more outwardly put together and “normal” than the other Hargreeves, too, never mind the fact that she has the fame Curtis wishes he had.

Allison would probably get along with all of them well enough, even Nathan, though I don’t think she’d really like him. She’s very much the big sister friend and I don’t think that’d change with the Misfits gang.

I doubt Five would care much about befriending any of them, though I could see Nathan squirming his way into his affections and Five being very annoyed with himself for it. He’d probably have the best shot at connecting with Simon, though, for the reasons I already listed. They bear a lot of responsibility and concern themselves a lot with the greater good specifically for the people they love (where in contrast, Diego worries about the people he loves and everyone else... but I digress, that’s a topic for another post entirely lol).

Toward Entropy

While I still wait for the chance to gather up my buds and get them into the ring of M:tA, I need to keep this place lively somehow. Through that, I've been working on shoring up my understanding of all the different interactions and possibilities--the limits of imagination itself--within the different Spheres.

Yet I always find myself drawn towards Entropy.

It's a neat little sphere in itself. When one thinks of Entropy there are many different branches to take. Chance, Chaos, Death, Fate. The depths of the concept extend far and wide, reaching its fingers into the depths of a universe both visible and unseen. As opposed to something like Life, whose influences remain important and apparent, despite its noticeably small concentration on a similar universal scale.

But that's waxing too much philosophical, and I prefer to be a rock-brained type-monkey. So, instead, I'm applying it to the life of an unfortunate piano-prodigy-turned-gambling-addict. Slowly--very, very slowly--I'm working on fleshing out the test character Gale Huckhowser. Originally, his Concept started out as Lady Luck's Lover (I love alliteration, sue me), as a smooth, suave, southern gambler type who had an uncanny knack for dodging misfortune. Yet the longer it went on and the more I explored the depths of entropy, the more I realized that concept needed more tragedy, more humanity.

So now if I want to get to that smooth, suave gambler aesthetic, coming into his own and cleaning up his act, then I need to trudge through the sacred flaw approach of alcoholism, mommy issues, love, loss, and poverty. Like notes dancing off ivory keys, following the discordant melody of patterened chaos, this fella needs to go through some shit.

Character Epistles (Cylindra + Oleander)

Part of the "Dandelion, Dandelion" universe

In "Dandelion, Dandelion," Cylindra and Oleander are two characters who have no reason to find similarities with one another. From two separate kingdoms and a disdain for each other's approach to magic, these two humans find themselves as allies against a greater evil. As the story progresses, their parallels become evident: humans fighting to prove their love to a more magical being, loyal beyond belief, and willing to put everything on the line to protect those closest to them. Despite all odds, they become rather close friends.

The following are letters from Cylindra to Elysia, and from Oleander to Faye. These relationships mimic each other without realizing it, and placing our two humans' thoughts side-by-side is an interesting way to explore their place in a fantasy world.

(AKA, I tasked myself with new writing prompts as I began querying my novel, and this is the result! I love exploring my characters in unique ways, and this was a fun way to get inside their heads.)

Dear Elysia,

In storybooks and fairytales, characters quite often write letters to those they're fond of. It's a romantic notion, as much as it is a childish one-- a reminder of one's existence to another through a scrap of paper and some hopeful ink. "Remember me," they ask.

And, then, you're expected to wait another month or two for a response back. An answer to that terrible question. Proof that you have, in fact, been remembered-- and remembered dearly, at that.

I've never had a chance to write a letter before-- a statement which, I am sure, will come as no surprise to you-- so, please, forgive the stains and blots that come with each word. I hardly know what to say to you when you stand before me; is it fair, then, to expect me to know what to put in permanent writing? You call me Silly and other ridiculous things, so allow me the silliness of scratching out my thoughts and trying again. It's an advantage I rarely have-- though, clearly, no amount of ink or paper or expected formalities can pause my ramblings. It's as if each word begs for another, each sentence must be explained lest you misunderstand my intention.

And, yet, I suppose, it's odd I worry about your interpretation of my meaning when, really, I hardly know what I mean, myself.

Since arriving at Zelimir's estate, I've had more time to myself than I've had the past few months. It's as though all people need is for me to exist, as though a whisper is enough to satisfy their expectations of me. In those moments of unprecedented silence, my thoughts turn, once again, to you. It's a rather urgent turning, a calling to the question all letters ask, a question i fear the answer of-- a wondering of whether you think of me as often as I think of you.

I'd like to think that the girl who pulled me through a window and into this mess of adventure takes some responsibility for the chaos that followed. Every step I have taken since that night has been a step in your direction, always wandering towards your voice. With each moment, I forget who I was before our meeting, and I don't fear what that means. When I think of home, I think of the scent of ash and smoke still clinging to a dress I now know you stole. I think of the first time my eyes fell upon yours-- eyes that, without your knowing, would redefine the definition of my existence. And you-- you fell into my arms, clinging as though fate had set you there, and I had no choice but to trust the path suddenly set before me.

Is it foolish to call this a stroke of destiny, to imagine it as an inevitability? From the very moment you told me your name, time has shifted; reality has rewritten itself. I cannot imagine living a life without the sound of your voice in my memories, as if there has always been a place for you in my mind, an unspoken agreement between myself and the universe to await your arrival.

I hope you're still waiting for me, Elysia. I hope that tomorrow, when Rowan is defeated and you are found, there will be no surprise in your eyes when we meet once again. Look at me like I am meant to be there, like you never doubted that I would come for you.

You told me once that your story is not one that can be told in one sitting, if only because it is not a story that has not yet reached its end. I told you, then, that I would wait for the ending, if you so permitted me and, more so, I would like to be by your side to see it through. You took me as a partner, and I have been bound to you ever since.

At the time, I could not have guessed the desperate lengths you would take to assure your freedom or the stages you would set to play out your schemes. It was only with time that I began to understand the genius beneath the cursed girl—and, with time, I craved to know more of who you truly are. I never told you how much I cherish hearing your voice or how much you astound me. Part of me likes to think you already know; another part of me wishes I could have told you when it was just you and me in that forest before wishes or dandelions or thorns took you from my side.

If anyone can achieve their wishes without the aid of the Fields, though, it's you. You have always been the most powerful and most exquisite being I have ever known. To know that you have chosen to look upon me with the same care and adoration that I look upon you... my dear, it unravels me. As I await your return, your memory plays through my mind with all the beauty of a symphony that could never be grasped by human minds. I want you in my veins, my blood. I want you safe; I want you happy.

You cannot imagine how it burns to know that I am not with you on this path we set out on together. It's more than a longing; it's the fear of losing you to a pain I cannot protect you from any longer. The healer here asks me of you, speaks of the scars she saw-- I tell her all I can without giving you away, and I tell her that only you have the power to overcome your old wounds. This is my hope, Faye-- that you heal and come back to me as whole as you wish you may be.

Let it be known, of course, that I will not love you any less if your plans fail-- I have never wanted anything other than for you to be pleased with yourself. You saved me once, so, allow me to save you with this one request:

Do not lose yourself in this search for vengeance. I have never spoken these words because it is my greatest fear that you will not hear them but, for me, Faye, please-- do not let this mage defeat you. If we are to meet again, as you have already promised, then you must remember that you are more than your magic or your scars or the pain of the people who have wronged you in the past.

I sometimes wake from nightmares of a silver-eyed girl who has lost herself in Fields she swore she would never explore—fields I know you seek out now despite your own hesitations. My hands shake as I imagine the struggles you now face. Faye, I trust Cylindra. If you will not listen to me, then I pray you tell her the truth and allow her devotion to extend to you. You are worthy of protection from those closest to you, and if I cannot be there, I beg that you open the door for others to take my place.

Above all, though, Faye-- come back to me. Victorious or defeated, I simply long for you to be back in my arms. I dream of our forest, of nights I didn't know would come to an end. I dream of you.

This one got the gears turning in my head I can't lie...

Most obvious swap would of course be Sonic and Shadow. I really had to think about exactly how I wanted that to work though cause just slapping them in each other's places without changing the events around those didn't seem quite right.

Take some traditional doodles since I didn't have the energy for anything digital lol. Basically Sonic is made in a lab (maybe the Ark maybe not, not 100% sure yet), but instead of Black Arms DNA Chao DNA is used. Decidedly expresses itself closer to how the Ancients looked, prob cause of the large amount of chaos energy used to make him. He ends up being a sort of unstable mentally cause he felt a drive to seek out the emeralds, but locked in a lab he couldn't really do that. His Maria would be Tails. Tails probably was the one to make the inhibitors for Sonic to help him hold his shape together, it also had the side affect of making his mind clearer (not that this helped his standing with the scientists). When the facility was raided Tails managed to put Sonic into a sort of suspended animation and send him away, sadly losing his life in the process.

Shadow was also still made in a lab, this one being on earth. G.U.N. is not involved so Maria and Gerald live. Unsure if he'd still have Black Arms DNA or not. I'd say probably though since I enjoy him being part Black Arms lol. He's sort of a reluctant hero. Maria encourages him to get out and try to make friends (which he does and Maria is very happy about). In the process of attempting to be social he somehow got himself wrapped up in stopping Eggman (Maria is very disappointed in her cousin) and any other villains that come along. Eventually he finds Sonic and accidentally wakes him up, offering help. I imagine that Maria is overjoyed that Shadow has brought anyone back and is happy to help as well. Gerald is intrigued by this other hedgehog experiment.

Things would progress... in a sort of similar way to the main AU? But oh so different at the same time. I feel like I could say a lot about this but I'll stop myself here on this part.

The other main swap that comes to mind would be Silver and Mephiles. Which... would be interesting. Since Mephiles in this AU comes from the Sonic 06 timeline essentially that would mean instead somehow Silver ended up in Lost and Found. He'd not exactly be happy about the state of things around him, especially not since he'd basically just worked with Sonic and Shadow to defeat Solaris and fix things. Silver would be even less happy to see Mephiles and some weird version of Sonic approach him. This Mephiles doesn't seem to know him, but Silver does not feel like being tricked again (or worse) and attacks.

I imagine Sonic would try to smooth things out between them, and the reveal that Silver is from another world would probably come up then and there. Mephiles is intrigued by this but does wonder what his counterpart did in order to cause Silver's reaction.

Mephiles himself I'd think is still half of Solaris here, just with no desire to recombine with Iblis... for whatever reason. Maybe he was asleep for a while and wakes up in the future timeline. After seeing what's become of everything he offers his help to a group of survivors he comes across (Sonic, Shadow, and the others who would still be alive at this point). Silver absolutely doesn't want to trust this Mephiles but eventually gives in to working together since he almost feels a sense of obligation to help set this future right too.

I could probably think on this more and put more down but for now I will cut myself off. Who knows I may think more on this swap version of the AU later lol. It was very interesting to consider.

Explaining the Idea of Shrimp MC and why people like it:

As some people have said that it doesn't represent anyone, The point is to not represent anyone specific just the MC in general as a character that you can imagine yourself as. Similar to a white blob. Is anyone a white blob? No. But you can easily insert yourself regardless rather than the MC having a set appearance that's the literal opposite as you appearance-wise. Same goes for the Shrimp MC idea. If you still think this won't work out then look at how Obey Me handled the Self-Insert situation. They used a Sheep Plush to symbolize the people. No sentient person is a sheep plush. The plush doesn't have a gender. The plush doesn't have a human skin tone. The plush doesn't have a body size or height. The actual Obey Me game leaves the person's appearance and gender completely ambiguous just as TWST does in the game. When Obey Me used the plush approach, hardly anyone is complaining about how it doesn't represent them as a specific person, gender, race, etc. This is why Twisted Wonderland should take a similar approach. Even if there are those who have no interest in inserting themselves into the anime story, it'll still be cute to just see a shrimp/shrimp plush as a main character. Very unique as well.

As for having a Shrimp/Shrimp Plush as the MC being "weird" Grim is literally a talking cat monster with his ears on fire, he can BREATHE fire, and his tail is the shape of a pitchfork. Not to mention the normalized existence of mermen, beastmen, various Fae species, etc. It's not too weird for a shrimp person to exist. The only thing explicitly stated about MC is that they are magicless and come from a magicless world. If the anime is going to follow the storyline of the game, Female MC would be questionable in some aspects, like when Ace asks to share the bed, or when Ace and Deuce questioned why Lilia and Epel were going to the school as they thought they were female or a child.

But nothing is set in stone as we know nothing about the anime, as much as many of us like the Shrimp MC idea be it for shits and giggles or for a serious approach, I highly doubt they'd choose a Shrimp MC and even less so for the Female MC, it's pretty likely that it'll be a Male MC due to the story being centered around an All-Boys school and the points I've mentioned previously. We can just hope for the best that people will be happy with what they go with.

Again, there are also a lot of people are just in it for the meme and to have fun. There are those who enjoy the thoughts of potential chaos and halarity that a Shrimp MC can ensue. :)
