Who doesn't love a sunshine character with some deep existential worries? It recently got hinted that Oleander has went through something that affected his memory in some way. She's not really all that sure if the things she remembers now are actually something she can trust or just something their head is making up… But that doesn't really make sense either. Lately he and his party came across a temple that had been abandoned hundreds of years ago… And despite this Oleander knew exactly how to reveal some of the hidden passages and such since she was sure she had been there before, before the place was a ruin. She was sure of it! But it's just simply impossible. Then again, who can really say what is and what isn't possible? Oleander is confused.

Oleander's another D&D character of mine, pretty much meant to always take the roll as an NPC or companion-sort for the main party whenever he's utilized. Don't let his cuteness fool you though - because that's exactly what he wants! This guy's actually a prolific enchantment wizard in spite of his (humble? it's complicated) origins.

Before you even have the chance to realize his true intentions, he may already have you wrapped around his little finger!

OH YEAH I joined a dnd campaign, and I'm finally playing a paladin!

This is Oleander, my beloved Firbolg! (yes, he has feathers don't worry about it) Specifically, he's an Oath of the Ancients Paladin! He's a little stupid, but makes up for that in muscle and just being an absolute sweetie.

Oleander and Darlene haunt Oscar's every move. Whether metaphorically or literally doesn't matter. Ghosts are ambiguous in TROAAE. They are not portrayed nor mentioned, but they do exist, in a way. Oscar's hidden Darlene's journal in the deepest depths of the house he could find and in keeping her things scattered, she haunts his house.

incredibly empathetic, perceptive and understanding about your emotions and general situation.

very affectionate, be it physically or verbally. though he can definitely adapt to whatever his partner’s comfortable with aka dial it down a notch or two lmao

caring! so caring! great at comforting and just being a soothing presence.

amazing cook. will bring you breakfast to bed. or dinner. or lunch. he will cook you for whenever you want wherever you want, it’s his love language lmao

this might only be a pro for some people, but conversations with him generally often skip phases like small-talk—he is incredibly honest and vulnerable with just about anyone and provides a space for you to do the same, whether you want to ramble about something seemingly insignificant that means a lot to you or talk abt more philosophical questions about life and such.

very good listener. he definitely prefers listening and hearing the thoughts of the people around him.

great buddy to read crappy romance novels with! (though he get might get sad if you make fun of them too much because he earnestly enjoys them)
