oh god how this fic is already so dear to me and it only grows dearer!! that song got me through ROUGH times in college, still such a moment of peace and yearning and longing every time i hear it.

nothing beats a hozier concert in my opinion, i was fortunate enough to see him right after he released nobody's soldier last year and that whole concert was the peak of my LIFE. he opened with jackie and wilson, which may be my favorite of the hozier songs (but that is like asking me to choose a favorite CHILD it is impossible)

To get through this shit of a race (I couldn't even watch the podium, I hate mclaren fr) I want to tell you what private pond rotf anon from yesterday made me think, what if charles start seducing a servant but pretending to be innocent and not doing anything, just so he can see max being jealous and possessive because, although he doesn't admit it, he loves seeing max marking his territory, even if that ends with the servant being k*lled

this is a very delicious premise 🤭 there will be a couple servants who get caught up in their games in a rather brutal way, so stay tuned. and yes, charles will spend a lot of time avoiding the fact that he kind of likes seeing max go feral possessive over him... he also might realize it's a very useful tool to wield against his enemies in the Red Bull court 👀

After watching today's game, I was very depressed... I felt very frustrated when I saw that Charles lost to McLaren, who was a station fraud, and was overtaken by Russell at the end. He tried to return to p3 and was punished, because Charles, who is usually so good-tempered, will overtake from the inside line. Obviously, he also I'm a little out of control, and he really want to hold his position. This situation reminded me of the collision between Max and Hamilton when he was overtaking in the middle of the game. In the live commentary on my country, someone scolded Max for driving so carelessly, but I felt that this was Max's still trying to impact forward.

He has always been like this. They all hope to move forward and keep their position, but racing can't be as good as they want. Lestappen has an invisible sense of fate that entangled with each other makes me cry... After the game, TR closed, I don't know how angry and sad Charles must be. He shouldn't enter the station for the second time.

In this qualifying competition, max also looked so depressed. He tried to rush into p5 in the first half of the game, but kept it from p9 until the end of the game. I can't help but feel sad about this... The last race of the summer break makes me feel so uncomfortable 😭 I urgently want to seek sympathy from some car fans, but unfortunately, I don't have any friends around me who watch F1. This makes me want to talk to you, because your reply is so sweet and can really comfort me.

you are so valid! it was a tough day for 1633 fans for sure 😩 charles' third stint was brutal to watch with the car going to hell and him falling back, and then max's race was awful too.

i just wish both of them had the cars they deserve so we could see some amazing racing instead of whatever that is the papaya team keep serving us.

but while the season has sucked overall but there's still small moments each weekend that make me smile and remind me why i like f1, and i hope the same can be said for you. so this was definitely not the way we would have liked to go into summer break, but better days will come!

don't worry, charles will be okay. he's a positive guy, a great driver, a millionaire, he's got a cute dog and a lovely girlfriend and a lot of friends and family that seem to adore him. he'll be just fine.

if i'm ever especially irritated after a race i usually just disconnect from the f1 world for a bit and focus on my other interests or hang out with my husband or friends. out of sight out of mind! so i hope you can find some nice distractions to make yourself feel better. if anything else, by the time the summer break ends, just know you'll probably barely remember this race.

genuinely the worst season during the ground effect era. 2023 was miles ahead of this and that’s because you had a hyper competent driver who was literally playing games in his rocket ship. here we have a bum who loses three positions on lap 1 and will still somehow win and another bum who will stay stuck behind a car until that car just falls apart and then will make an overtake his fans call ‘the pass of the century’ and on top of that, they are allergic to racing each other.
