Alternate Veilguard time travel au where everyone BUT Rook ends up in the past as a result of one of their attempts to get Rook back.
The Inquisition suddenly gets the weirdest collection of freaks showing up at Skyhold including a tevene detective, a dalish monster hunter, a dalish historian, an esteemed member of the mourn watch, the demon of vyrantium who might possibly be possessed by a demon, and a 13 yr old dragon hunter + their mom. Also Harding is there and suddenly doing rock magic.
And none of these people seem to be doing all that much to help, they just keep side eying Solas.
(How do the companions that were lost on tearstone island get blasted back to the past too you ask? i don't know, i don't care, it's the power of friendship bitch)
Highlights of this au include:
Lucanis telling Caterina No for once in his life and ditching the Crows. Caterina and Illario have absolutely no idea how to handle this sudden shift in behavior from the ever obedient Lucnais
Harding suddenly being able do Rock magic and just giving Solas so much pointed shit but never outright calling him out for what he did to the Titans so Solas just has to sit there uncomfortable unable to really say anything about it because if Harding doesn't actually know what happened then he doesn't want to out himself by confirming anything
Bellara peppering Solas with a million questions about the things "he's seen in the fade" and Solas having to awkwardly try to answer her questions because he likes being the guy with the answers while also coming up with increasingly ridiculous explanations on how he knows these things so as to not give too much away
Manfred and Cole becoming friends!
Dorian having to deal with his old teenage crush still being super hot
Davrin fucking with Blackwall by asking him questions he already knows about the Wardens just to see what bullshit that guy's going to come up with
Taash and Iron Bull bonding over dragons while Shathann is freaking out in the background because Bull is ben-hassrath
Neve as Cassandra's bi awakening
Davrin adopts a mabari to fill the assan shaped hole in his life
Bellara getting starry eyed about Varric and convincing him to give her writing tips. They end up essentially co authoring a number of serials about some of Neve's more memorable jobs and Bellara even goes onto write some serials based on Davrin's monster hunting adventures and Lucanis' assassination gigs with the two of them getting a little too nitpicky about the accuracy of Bellara's fictionalizations of their professions
But mostly I just want this au because it's essentially the entire veilguard minus Rook looking at Solas like this throughout the entirety of Inquisition

Batfam magical girl AU where a magical villain's spell fucks with the Gotham smog and causes the constellations of the Gotham night sky to shatter and fall. People who were standing there in the street at that moment are suddenly hit with magical fragments and becoming the Galaxy, also known as Stars of Gotham, magical protectors of the city now that the power of the enchanted Gotham night sky is broken and can't protect it from the forces of evil anymore (which explains why the city is so ridden with crime).
Bruce's new ward, Dick Grayson, is running away from the manor to try and hunt down his parents' murderer, Bruce hot on his tail. The two of them arrive to the harbour during the Starfall. Dick is hit with two fragments, the Constellation of the Robin and the dormant Constellation of the Bird, which get lodged in his heart. Bruce is hit with the Constellation of the Bat in a similar manner.
Barbara Gordon shouldn't be sneaking out, really, but her dad still hasn't come home from the police precinct and she just wanted to walk there and take him home when she is struck with the dormant Constellation of the Whispering Woman.
A couple alleys over, a very young boy is hiding from his mom's dealer in the alley near his apartment complex when he is hit by the dormant Constellation of the Wolf.
Over in the Bowlery, Crystal Brown is walking with her baby in her arms when said baby is hit with the dormant Constellation of the Closed Fist.
In the Narrows, Ellen Thomas is struck with the power of the dormant Constellation of the Eclipse.
Bruce becomes Batman, holder of the most powerful constellation in Gotham, with Dick's Robin at his side. But the fragment of the Bat constellation is too powerful and unstable, threatening his life as Bruce's crystal core grows inside his heart. Him, Kate and Barbara work together to stabilize the crystal, which works, but in the process of its extraction it shatters in four, one part in Bruce's chest, one part that they protect in a glass case, and one part in Kate's and Barbara's chests.
Dormant fragments tend to awaken in situations of crisis or great changes in somebody's life. This is how Dick's Bird fragment awakens as he fights with Bruce over firing him and taking in a new kid without telling him. Because Dick can't take the strain of two star fragments, he gives it to Jason after spending a day getting to know eachother and bonding as brothers, and the start of Nightwing and Robin.
After Barbara is shot and paralyzed, the fragments of the Whispering Woman awaken and keep her alive long enough to get to the hospital, but the cohabitation with her bat fragment endangers hers, so she eventually gives it to Bruce's newly adopted daughter Cassandra.
When Jason dies, they extract the Robin fragment from his heart because an awoken fragment in a dead body is a recipe for a big explosion. Tim fuses with the Robin fragment in the Batcave in order to save Batman's life. Steph has a turn with the Robin fragment when Tim has to retire because of his dad, until she is kidnapped by Black Mask and her closed fist constellation awakens, enabling her escape with an awesome burst of power but endangering her, leading to Tim reabsorbing the fragment.
Jason's wolf constellation awakens while he's in the coffin, and the strength of this magical disturbance brings him back to life, though it's unfortunately not enough to heal his brain damage.
Damian is a special case, a child born of someone with a crystal core (since Bruce was already a magical girl when at his conception). Because of this, he has a natural crystal core which is compatible with the reception of another fragment, so when the Robin fragment grows uncontrollably in a bid to make up for Bruce's absence, Damian absorbs part of it and his powers become a hybrid of the Robin and the Bat's, and he inherits Robin while Tim becomes Red Robin.
Duke, similar to Damian, inherits his powers from Ellen, and they begin to manifest as he finds himself in foster care and joing a gang of Robin fan children, leading to being eventually taken in by Bruce.
All of them have magical girl transformation sequences complete with glitter, diamonds and classic magical girl anime costumes.

This seemed to go over well on r/dragonage, so I will also share it over here!
The question was:
Which DA Romances Do You Think Would Be Open To Having Kids?
DAO
Alistair - if he's got that Strong Theirin Bullshit going on, I think he's having a couple kids regardless of if it's with HoF or Anora. He's a great goofy dad but can't discipline worth a damn.
Leliana - Mmh... she would probably prefer to adopt rather than give birth, I think. Even then, she seems more like an auntie than a mother.
Morrigan - Did not ever foresee or want it for herself, but is a pretty decent mom by virtue of not wanting to be like Flemeth. Not a "cool" mom, but would let her kids have their independence.
Zevran - I can only ever see it being on accident, as beforehand he would have absolutely denied it - but once the possibility is in reach, he can't let the idea go. Ultimate Girl Dad.
DA2
Anders - Nope. Back in Awakening he liked his freedom without fetters too much, and over the course of 2 he gets too focused on becoming a martyr. Ain't ever gonna happen.
Fenris - Not something I think he actively wants, but is willing to take responsibility if it happens. He's the kind of stoic dad that it's hard to get an outward reaction from, but he's definitely protective of his kids.
Isabela - HAHA. That's adorable, kitten! (She probably just ends up kind of semi-adopting a galley kid, but in a way one would adopt a stray outdoor cat - leave it to its business.)
Merrill - Kind of taken aback by the idea, but secretly grows on it. I think she'd probably end up more of a mother figure to refugee elves, though.
DAI
Blackwall - Much as it's cute to think of him as a dad, I think what he did with the mercenary company is going to haunt him too much, even if he goes back to being Thom. He's content with the Inquisitor alone.
Cassandra - So long as she's not Divine, she would be willing to consider it - but would only want just one. Hard disciplinarian, but secretly a softie on some occasions.
Cullen - He's gonna end up having to build an entire farm community just to house all the impending kids and dogs. This man wants a BIG FAMILY.
Dorian - The thought of it is instantly repellant to him just on the basis of it having been expected of him for so long. He'd also be quietly terrified of ending up like his own father, hurting his own child while thinking he's doing his best for them... so no, definitely not happening.
Iron Bull - Hadn't ever really thought about it... ever, but if he's Tal-Vashoth, his heart melts when he sees any of his own babies for the first time. Any kid's got him wrapped around their little finger, and a whole host of aunts and uncles in the Chargers.
Josephine - She wants at least two, but preferably three - it simply wouldn't do for any of her children to grow up lonely. Hilariously, she's one of the strictest parents.
Sera - She sort of just wants to keep the Inquisitor all to herself for as long as she can, but if her wife really, really wanted it, she'd shrug and say why not? An alright mom, especially when they're still little, but I think she'd get really frustrated when they hit their teens.
Solas - He would like to say he doesn't wish it were possible, sometimes. He would like to say that.
DAV
Bellara - She would go nuts tracking down every single child-rearing research material she could and generally get herself anxious about it, but she'd turn out to be one of the best moms of the bunch.
Davrin - Willing to adopt after a while, especially once Assan starts getting older and leaving for longer periods of time as he gains his independence. That kiddo is definitely growing up with the best boy bird-cat-dog protector. Bit of a gruff dad, but he means well and can ease up with help.
Emmrich - Either way you shake it, probably not. Either he's content with Manfred and wouldn't want to chance leaving a young child behind when he eventually passes, or he just can't because he's a lich. For the latter, though, I think he'd be a great dadly mentor for the ages.
Harding - The ultimate in mommy cottagecore. TELL me you can't see her hiking through a forest with a bundled baby on her back, a kidlet skipping at her side, singing together as they head back home for the day. Adorable.
Lucanis - Incredibly unnerved by how much pressure is on him by being The Last Man Standing of the Dellamortes and what that means for their legacy, as well as being terrified over the possibility of what Spite could do to a child... but man, the thought haunts him. He wants to feel part of a close family again so bad. He would cry the first time he held his baby.
Neve - Probably not interested in having any of her own, but definitely ends up being kind of the boss-slash-denmother of a bunch of urchins in Docktown. She (lightly) bullies them into eating and sleeping, and they're her eyes from the shadows.
Taash - Their hang-ups over their mom are way too intense for that. Helping other Qunari and/or Tal-Vashoth adjust to a non-Qun life is about as far as that idea is gonna get.

Another one of those 'Tim joins the Batfamily early' Au's that's also a 'Cass joins the batfamily early' Au, wherein Bruce doesn't suddenly start respecting his children's privacy and boundaries when Jason meets his bio mom and actually hovers right outside the door, thus knowing the moment things turn south. He gets his boy out of there right away (the Joker still has diplomatic immunity for whatever reason and Sheila still dies). Jason is sad about how it all went down, but Bruce explains to him what he'd explained to Alfred before Jason learned about his mom. Between that and how Bruce behaved when he found Jason overseas, he knows his adopted dad loves him, so he's okay.
He does, however, think that they should probably look into the whole thing where Lady Shiva might have slept with his bio dad and then had a daughter around the time Jason was born. Just in case. So they track down feral fifteen year old Cassandra and are kinda thinking they should keep her no matter what when the DNA shows that she actually was Willis Todd's kid all along.
Bruce is definitely keeping Jason's half-sister, so she stays.
Dick comes back from space to learn about all of this and starts spending more time with his little brother and sister, which gets the Titans involved. Raven helps them translate some basic motions beside Cass' greeting punch to speed along communication with her.
While Jason and Cass are bonding and learning to communicate, she keeps bringing this kid to his attention or deliberately putting them in the boy's path. He's a few years younger than them and Jason's pretty sure he's seen him around, but he's never really paid any attention to Tim Drake before. Now that Cass has imprinted on him or whatever, he decides to try to get to know him.
What he eventually realizes is that Cass has been trying to tell him that Tim knows who they are. He's good at keeping a secret, but little clues in his body language when he sees them had clued her in. She can also tell he's studying martial arts and gymnastics, so she sees an easy in and just starts training the kid. That's when Jason figures it out.
Jason and Cass get Dick on board, and the three convince Bruce they need to keep Tim.
Alfred says nothing throughout all this but a room has been set up with a batman and robin bedspread, a bunch of Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie, and Artemis Fowl books, and the closet has been converted into a mini darkroom, so it's safe to say he saw the writings on the wall.

Some miscellaneous stuff for the Fantasy High Leverage AU:
After getting kicked out, Kristen got taken in by Ankarna and Cassandra, who are living their best country-lesbian vibes out on a farm together---a farm which eventually gets in financial trouble and almost gets shut down by a corporation, which is how the crew learn about Kristen's past before she was a hitter. The farm winds up doubling as a safehouse. (Also, Ankarna wears flannels and has a shotgun, and Cassandra does tarot readings at their stall at the farmer's market on weekends. They also have a little black cat, with no relation to Kalina.)
Despite all the rumors swirling around, the way Fig and Fabian met is surprisingly mundane: when Gilear moved from Portland back to London after he and Sandralynn divorced, Fig went with him, and she got enrolled in the same school that Fabian was attending. The two of them became fast and immediate friends, wound up becoming the most popular kids there due to their combined chaos and the fact that they were kind to those who needed it, and were pretty much inseparable from that point forward. And when Fig introduced Gilear to Fabian's mom, who'd been widowed for a while and was looking for someone stable... well, as much as Fabian complained, it meant that he and Fig were officially siblings. (They learned how to grift from Hallariel, who was a very well-renowned thief in her day. It's how she met Bill, after all.)
Fig is the sibling who's the "bad actor in a theater setting, good actor when she's breaking the law" type, though it's a bit more complex than that. She's amazing at coming up with a character on the spot, building off of the questions that people ask her, and remembering details so none of the information contradicts what she's already said, but she finds scripts "boring and restrictive," and always tries to put her own spin on things... which doesn't always fit well. She does get a little better at following a script of sorts when she's on the crew---at least, she learns to follow the plan.
Kristen hasn't gone by "Kristen Applebees" since she was fifteen---instead, the criminal underworld knows her by "Kristen Justice-Forester," referencing her adoptive moms. Mostly because that sounds generally more badass, but also because she really wants to forget about her old life as the church girl next door.
Gorgug's legal name is "Gavin Thistlespring," but he's been going by Gorgug since he was twelve---it was the name of his first ever D&D character, and it eventually became his hacker handle. (This is really because I just needed an explanation as to why a perfectly normal human in a world that's basically ours would be named "Gorgug." I do something similar for Fig in a lot of my AUs---her name's either just "Fig," or she's named after a character from a fantasy series that Sandralynn likes.)
Someone suggested that Kalina is the Sterling equivalent, and I liked it so much that I decided to make it canon---but instead of being Riz's former partner, she's his dad's old partner and mentor who was forced to help cover up Pok's death. She's not necessarily bad, but she does have a very black-and-white view of morality, and she's not a fan of Riz's new, less-than-legal idea of justice.
Adaine still has the Parker rep of being "crazy," but in a very different light. Rather than being a thrill-seeking ball of chaos who's an unpredictable wildcard in every way when the story begins, she's unsettlingly quiet, perceptive to the point where she can predict things minutes in advance, and acts seemingly without morality and with her own skewed logic. As she spends more time with the crew and warms up to them, however, everyone starts to see that Adaine is unflinchingly and unfailingly kind---and that once she actually warms up to you, she will talk nonstop about anything she's invested in, whether it be obscure history facts, thieving tips, or whatever show, book, or video game that one of the others has gotten her hooked on. She's just closed off as a defense mechanism.
Fabian is the sibling with a deep and personal bond with Riz---not that Fig isn't close to him, but Fabian and Riz shot each other when they first met, and you can't beat that. And while Fabian used to have a thing for Riz, he eventually realized that Riz wasn't interested in any kind of relationship, though neither of them fully had the words for it (because, y'know, this story still starts in 2008). Still, though, he considers Riz his best friend and vice versa, and once he's on the crew, he never dates anyone without introducing them to Riz first. And his affections tend to bounce back and forth between Gorgug and Ragh. Or both. Let's just say that Fabian's got the most romantic drama out of any of them.
Riz is still close with his mom, despite the fact that, as a lawyer and former cop, he knows that she probably wouldn't approve of what he does. He just tells her that he runs a private detective agency, which isn't too far from the truth---hell, it's their cover story, after all.
Fabian's father was the greatest thief in the world when he was alive, but that came with a lot of enemies, and that's not something that Fabian wants to deal with---not to mention, he's always been adamant about making a name for himself, and to not just skate by on the Seacaster name. If that means that he has to refer to himself as "Fabian Faeth," well... so be it. He reasons that it's Fig's last name. Not Gilear's.
Fig has never met her bio-dad before the story begins... but she does meet him eventually. There's a whole thing there.
Adaine does not kill Angwyn in her backstory. However, she does get to do that eventually, and it's cathartic as fuck.

Chapter One: Faces in the Carpet
Bruce stared at the carpet, searching for faces in the patterns while Alfred spoke to the doctors. He fixated on the agonized faces, the appearance of wailing people until they were all he could see. While he drowned in a sea of suffering faces, Alfred stepped over. He could still remember how his ears rang from the gunshots, but he could hear Alfred’s even tone muffled under all the white noise. Alfred crouched in front of Bruce, pulling Bruce back to the surface. “Master Bruce, would you like to come and see your mother?” Alfred asked. Bruce’s eyes widened, and he took Alfred’s hand. “She can’t see you this way. Here, Master Bruce.” Alfred pulled a wet napkin from a pack and wiped his face before taking Bruce down the hall to his mother.
Some of the tiles in the hallway were stained, and the numbers on some of the doors were missing. Alfred stopped at the door, and Bruce looked up at him. His lips parted as he searched for a way to plead with Alfred to come with him. “It’s alright, Master Bruce… She’s expecting you,” Alfred whispered as he gently nudged Bruce.
Bruce swallowed hard, remembering the flashing lights and the smell of gunpowder. His hands trembled as he grabbed the door handle, pulling and turning it. He shut his eyes as he entered the hospital room. “Bruce, lovey?” Martha called to him.
“Mom,” Bruce whimpered.
“Oh, Brucie,” Martha replied. Bruce opened his eyes, looking at his mother with tears in his eyes. She patted the bed beside her. Bruce crept closer and closer to Martha’s bed as tears streamed down his face. He’d never seen his mother look anything less than perfect before. Her hair fell in frizzy ringlets framing her face as they splayed out in all directions on her pillow, her face pale and greenish, the sling and the ill-fitting hospital gown swallowed her up. Bruce sniffed as he finally reached her, and he pressed his face into her lap before releasing a heart-shattering, trembling sob. Martha let her fingers dance through his hair, pulling playfully at the ends. “Bruce, I am fine. Honestly, lovey, I am not worth all this fuss you’re making.” She said it with a softness, but Bruce knew she was much more hurt than she let on. He didn’t mean to make so much noise, but the distress he felt bubbled over, and it was too much to contain.
He sniveled and gasped in a feeble attempt to collect himself, but it only made him sound and feel more distressed. Bruce wished that he could’ve been brave. He wished he could’ve protected Martha from any undue pain. Unfortunately, all Bruce could do was cry into her lap until he was too tired to do even that. Then, he climbed into her hospital bed and curled into her side. “Bruce?” Martha whispered.
“I wasn’t big enough… I—.”
“I am supposed to protect you. It has never and will never be the other way around. Do you understand me, lovey? I don’t know what I would do if something happened to you,” Martha interrupted.
Bruce didn’t reply. He couldn’t get past the thought of the gunshots. Blood seeping through his unconscious parents’ clothes. It felt wrong. And quickly, the fear and sadness turned to determination. Without another word on the subject, Bruce decided he’d become strong enough to protect his parents no matter the cost.
When he woke up, Martha was talking to the doctors. “Why can’t you just speak plainly to me? I don’t understand,” Martha asked.
Bruce didn’t move, but he opened one eye and met glances with Alfred. Bruce opened both eyes and mouthed for Alfred not to tell while he tried to listen to what the doctors were saying. “Well, thank you anyway. I will ask my husband when I see him,” Martha replied. After the door shut, Martha looked down at Bruce, tickling his neck before asking, “Could you make any sense of that alphabet soup? Or am I just stupid?”
“I didn’t understand it either, Mom,” Bruce replied, “How’d you know I was awake?”
“You stopped making noise,” Martha giggled.
“I should go and check on Master Thomas,” Alfred whispered to excuse himself.
Bruce sat up, rubbing his eyes. “Oh, Alfred, won’t you take Bruce with you? I’m sure Thomas would love to see him. Bruce, keep your father company for a while. I’m sure he needs it. I want to try and get freshened up,” Martha lied. Bruce kissed her cheek before taking Alfred’s hand. He didn’t say anything until they were in the hallway.
“What’d the doctors say about Dad, Alfred? I know you understood what they were talking about,” Bruce whispered.
“Master Bruce, your father will go home, but he may not fully recover… He may not be able to walk for the foreseeable future,” Alfred answered honestly, “He’ll need you to be patient and kind… without pitying him, of course.”
“Of course,” Bruce nodded, “Have you seen him?”
“No. I haven’t yet. I suppose you’re the first person he’ll want to see,” Alfred replied, “My sincerest apologies, Master Bruce. I should have escorted you all from the theater—.”
Bruce dropped Alfred’s hand. “Don’t be silly, Alfred. Thank you for sitting with me these past few days,” Bruce thanked him.
“You’re always good company, Master Bruce,” Alfred whispered, “I’ll wait outside for thirty minutes… And then I’ll get you something to wear.”
“Alfred, wait—.”
Alfred reassured him, “I won’t leave a second before thirty minutes have passed. " Bruce nodded as he turned his back and headed inside.
Thomas’ eyes were dark, he was pale, and Bruce stepped back, wanting to turn and run from the reality of the situation. His father was not as bulletproof as he imagined him. Thomas looked far too human for Bruce’s liking. He thought he could get away without Thomas knowing he was ever there, but he heard something that made him stop in his tracks. Thomas sniffed, and Bruce whipped around, watching with terror as Thomas started to cry. Bruce was speechless as he quietly approached Thomas’ hospital bed. “How can I hug you?” Bruce asked.
It startled Thomas, and he looked into Bruce’s eyes, searching for a look of disapproval or disgust. Bruce’s eyes were trained on Thomas, but they were steady… and his little hands were wrapped around one of Thomas’ in an act of consolation. “Just be careful of the IVs, but you can hug me,” Thomas sniffed as he tried to collect himself. “Sorry.” Bruce hugged Thomas and pressed his face into the crook of Thomas’ arm.
“I wish I was as brave as you,” Bruce whispered. Thomas tried to swallow, but his throat went dry. He sniffed as tears fell from his eyes. “It’s okay… I cried, too.”
“How’s Mom?” Thomas asked. Bruce climbed into Thomas’ hospital bed with him.
“She’s alright… She said she’s just freshening up,” Bruce answered. The monitors beeped, and Bruce looked up at them. “How bad is it?”
“Um… Spinal injuries are tricky, Bruce. There’s a lot of swelling, but I’m pretty strong. There’s a chance I could walk again with lots of physical therapy, but I’m sure I’ll need long-term assistance—.”
“Are you hurting?” Bruce asked.
Thomas rustled a hand through Bruce’s hair. “It’s there, and I’ll be feeling it quite a bit once the medication wears off, but—. It’s nothing for you to worry about,” Thomas whispered.
“Not true. Being a Wayne means helping others,” Bruce replied. He’d heard Thomas say that several times at press conferences and galas. The way Bruce said it made Thomas light up for a moment, and he almost seemed like his old self.
“That’s right, Bruce… But I’m gonna have to help myself, too—.”
“I know, but it doesn’t mean that you have to do it all by yourself. Mom says no man is an island. You’ve got to accept help when you need it,” Bruce interrupted.
Thomas chuckled. “I can’t argue with that,” Thomas replied.

Bat bio donors
So Catherine Todd, unfortunately, wasn't Jason's bio mom, even if she was his mom in every other way that matters. Embezzler, child trafficker, and Joker associate Shelia Haywood was his biological mother...probably.
There was no DNA test so I remain unconvinced.
That being said, I see no acceptable evidence that Willis Todd was Jason's bio father. (And if there is, shhh, don't care)
Yes Bruce could be his bio dad but boring, be more creative!
For example, someone else who's based in Gotham, who might have a fling and not follow up on it for very whatever reason, and who might be the namesake of our favorite gun wielding bat: Jason Bood. Yes Shelia, if she is the mother, may have put Willis on the birth certificate, but there's nothing to say that she didn't have an evening with a man with a charming accent, considerable experience, and a rather two faced nature.
Or perhaps someone who is a tiny bit less volatile such as David Cain.
Or honestly there's enough weirdness in Gotham that Jason's other bio donor was Nocturna, the woman who would later want to adopt him while he was Robin and she was, in fact, though she didn't know it, trying to get her own bio child.
Furthermore, Bruce as Tim Drake's bio donor, yes, good, understandable, likely even.
However, there are other options, for example:
Janet spends a great deal of time going around the world and with various artifacts, some of these artifacts could be magical in nature. That magic may have various effects on the average person and one of the more popular things that people in ancient times sought revolved around fertility control, to improve or prevent. Janet might trip over more than a few artifacts designed to improve fertility, let's say even to the point that some who might not normally be able to sire children might in fact be capable of doing so with Janet while she's still under the influence of such magic, such as:
Lady Shiva who admires Janet's ability to handle both a growing business and her academic pursuits.
Ra's Al Ghul who came by for an artifact and had a fling with the lady who found it mostly because why not? Yes if Tim ever found out, or Ra's ever found out, it would result in considerable mental distress, but it could also be hilarious. Flip a coin to decide if this would make Talia want Tim dead more or less than she already does.
Some ancient god who's essentially mortal at this point and has been clinging to existence by the thinnest thread and really the only reason their name is known at this point is because it was in a letter about very bad copper. Tim receives no benefits from this parent except above average endurance and healing which is how he's survived. He's also as stubborn as the nameless god that's hung on for four thousand or so years.
Gotham itself is Tim's bio donor and this is why tiny baby stalker Tim didn't die a thousand times over while he was taking pictures, Gotham was looking out for their son.
Then there's Cassandra, "one who is all" who may or may not be Shiva's daughter.
Honestly for Shiva and for Talia, given the danger they put themselves in and the stress that pregnancy can do to a body, plus the necessary time to heal properly afterwards, the canon where Damian is grown in a tube makes sense and I wouldn't be surprised if Shiva took a page from Talia's book.
Shiva as the mother of "one who is all" can make sense. The other bio donor, well, let's look at other options.
Slade perhaps? He's had quite a few remarkable children, and can handle none of them, but that wouldn't stop him from being a candidate.
If you're a fan of wuxia or xianxia novels, look for or make up some ancient cultivator that Shiva sought out for training perhaps and on that strength Cassandra can pick up cultivation and become that much more awesome, maybe even teach it to her brothers.
Sect Leader Cass o((>ω< ))o
Or someone can be related to or connected to a Lamont Crantson and see if they can step out of his Shadow.
Dick's bio parents were freakin' awesome so jumping over him and also leaving Duke's parentage alone though more distant ancestors for either of them, such as great-great grandmothers or grandfathers might be interesting. Dick has a Talon in the family tree but who else might be hanging around in there?
For example, Santa is real in the dc universe. Tim and his team could have witnessed the death of Dick's maternal great-great-great-great grandpa.
As for Duke, if his family has been in Gotham for longer than a generation, there've got to be some serious weirdos in his bloodline, maybe a lesser known Talon or Queen Mab.
Damian not being the son of Bruce and Talia would be a serious blow to the kid and not worth it. Giving him blood siblings is more fun. He already has a problem learning to share his dad with his adopted siblings, sharing with blood siblings would be good for him.
Stephanie? An additional dad option would probably give her some sort of mental crisis since she originally based her vigilante career on defeating her deadbeat, second rate rogue father. It would be interesting and honestly a little hilarious though if her mother had a fling with Oliver Queen.

I have seen some disclosures in the past about how fandoms force a non-existence "found family" dynamic between the characters then forcibly turn that found family into a "nuclear family" where they will make one character be the "dad" while one character is the "mom" and everyone else are siblings when that's not the case and while I definitely know what people mean by that and have seen it happen before, I feel like in the context of the "Batfamily," some people are taking it too far into the opposite direction.
Like first of all, depending on how you divide them, the "Batfamily" is made up by characters who are either literal family or just close friends/lovers, so I can understand why grouping all of them together and labeling them as one big family may sound confusing (but always remember, Wayne family =/= Batfamily)
Characters like Barbara, Stephanie and Duke (I might even throw in Tim & Cassandra, since they both were only adopted at 17) absolutely have an "unconventional" familial ties to each other and to Bruce, so I personally don't think you should be so eager to fit them all into a stereotypical nuclear familial roles, especially since all the characters I mentioned above (except for Cass) have one or two loving parents who have raised them all on their own without the help of Bruce and are still alive and present in their child's life (except Tim, whose parents canonly died a couple of years ago in-universe).
With that being said, sometimes characters just so happen to fit the bill of a stereotypical "nuclear family" in canon and not wanting to accept that because the children are adopted/not related by blood to their parents is fucked up.
And I say that mostly about Dick and Jason, who for for all intent and purposes were both fully adopted at 9 and 11 respectively (ignoring rectons that aged them up or the fact that Dick was a ward at first only because single men couldn't legally adopt in the 40's), so it doesn't matter how you go about it, Bruce is 100% their father and they are 100% his sons, no ifs or buts.
For me, I have seen too many people trying to down-play the fact that Batman is canonly a dad (maybe because they don't think its cool? Idk) by pretending that him and his literal children are just a found family or just partners and accusing anyone who refer to them as parent-and-child of diminishing this found family and forcing them into a "nuclear" family when that's not case with them.
Referring to an adult man who fully adopted a young child to raise them as his own as that child's dad isn't forcing them into a nuclear family, because he's LITERALLY their dad? That's just common sense.

heres another bunch of random specific dndads headcanons, this time its teen addition! ft. Hermie, D00d and Hero
- After everything was done and solved Lincoln and Normal remade the yellow bracelets from early s1, now they're braided friendship bracelets
- Taylor has surprisingly never broken a bone
- Normal took gymnastics before getting into Mascot stuff,
- Scary makes Terry Jr. drive her to hot topic and makes him wait outside while she takes like four hours (terry is just happy shes kinda spending time with him)
- Lincoln has a photographic memory
- In elementary school Taylor tried to hide Cassandra's kitchen knives all around the house 'for survival and easy weapon access.' she still finds random knives around the house
- Hermie did ballet
- Whenever Scary is ACTUALLY mad at any of the other teens she will just call them by their full name instead of either a nickname or an insult, (ex. instead of Linc, Tay, Herm, or Norm; Normally, Taylor, Lincoln, and Herman)
- Scary/Terri's favorite food used to be baked potatoes, but Terry ruined it for her bc they had it in common
- D00d thought Hermie was just some weird guy that walked around and stalked the teens without saying anything, for like...a while, because of how much they all forgot about them
- Hermie was genderless and built like a barbie/ken doll (goofs are beyond gender)
- Lincoln was such a lonely kid when he was younger that he'd make sculptures and give them names and talk to them, notably he had a sculpture of a soccer ball he called Soccie (sock-e)
- Scary has a collection of monster energy cans, especially after everything had happened, she would drink energy drinks to not go to sleep in the paranoid fear she'd meet willy again
- Normal has an extra toe
- Taylor has a life times supply of pocky
- Lincoln makes way too much eye contact
- Hero worked at Swallows Ice Cream part time before switching to the pizza delivery job
- Hermie would have never admitted it out loud but he preferred Teen High's theatre program to Chapperal
- Normal has made and ordered so much Teeny the Teen merch that he cannot do anything without something having Teenys face on it
- D00d tried to make friends with Lark at one point, it was not successful not because Lark got mad at them, but his anti-social behavior (he has never made a friend before in his life) mixed with his fear of the doodler lead him to just kind of try to ignore them
- At one point Hermie had a big cartoonish hammer that they would smack Normal's head with whenever they thought it was funny (the hammer felt like getting hit with a balloon)
- Hero convinced Normal he was adopted like ten different times growing up, Sparrow would usually be the one to have to calm him down
- Scary cut up one of her Mom's dresses to wear for herself at one point and after everything was resolved Veronica randomly asked Scary if she'd seen the dress and Scary said the dog ate it (they don't have a dog)
- Lincoln admitted at one point that he'd never had a slurpee before so all the teens went and got them and he had such a bad brain freeze that he started crying

Reverse Robins AU but i have no idea what im doing
Duke Thomas - Lark → Flamebird
Damian Wayne - Lark → Red Hood
Stephanie Brown - Batgirl → Oracle
Cassandra Cain - Lark → Black Lark
Tim Drake - Spoiler → Lark -> Spoiler (probably)
Jason Todd - Lark → Black Bat (???)
Barbara Gordon - Batgirl
Dick Grayson - Robin
Robin is a unique thing only to Dick. So Lark is the mantle's name! The Lark name was given to Duke by Batman. The name itself is based off of one of Bruce's hallucinations.
Duke would adopt the name Flamebird instead of Nightwing. Cause y'know... Signal. When he adopts the name he would start going out in the day instead (back when he was Lark, he went out at night).
idk what to say other than damian is the one who dies LMAO
Steph goes from Batgirl to Oracle. Self explanatory. She does not have a romantic relationship with Duke btw lmao. She's young enough to the point she and Tim have had a relationship.
Cass is never Batgirl here. When Bruce adopts Tim, she switches to Black Lark voluntarily. She thinks she's funny. It's similar to Tim and Damian's thing, but the execution is different (like Robin to Red Robin).
Tim was Spoiler first, then went by Lark when Bruce adopted him, then went back to Spoiler when Jason came into play (still not too sure if i should make him go back to Spoiler or give him another name).
I'm still not too sure about Jason going by Black Bat.
Barbara is Batgirl. Self explanatory.
Dick goes by Robin because that's what his mom used to call him.
I'm still workshopping the timeline so things may change.

Five Tangled AUs I'll Never Write Because I Don't Have The Time
1. Eugene gets adopted by Quirin instead of going to the orphanage.
He still becomes Flynn Rider and rescues Rapunzel from the tower, but his turn to crime is due to a falling out between him and his dad after his and Varian's mom disappears under mysterious circumstances.
Quirin is keeping secrets, and thier relationship is strained, but after meeting Rapunzel, Eugene is trying to mend that relationship with him... Only for the amber incident to cut that short.
Obviously the biggest change here is that Eugene and Varian are brothers, so Varian isn't left alone after the snow storm. Rather, Eugene is trying to protect Varian from King Frederic while also trying to stay in his future father-in-law's good graces... All while dealing with his own grief.
This drastically changes the conflict and outcome of season one. Forcing Rapunzel to confront her father directly and own up to his misdeeds, and brings Varian along on the season two road trip.
Also Eugene has even less reason to accept Edmund because Quirin is the man who raised him and is his 'real dad' for all intents and purposes.
Also, thier mom, Ulla, being trapped by Zan Tiri and finally escaping would be a major plot point in season three.
2. Digimon AU
Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Varian, Lance, Styalan, and Caine are all college students who get sucked into the digital world.
They each get their own digimon and must face off against the seven digimon demon lords in order to return home, and in doing so confront their own worse vices.
Rapunzel's digimon is Coronamon. She is The Leader of the group and her element is Fire/Light/Sun. Her nemesis is Belphemon, and her main vice is Sloth. Because she keeps avoiding her problems by chasing after frivolous pursuits. Such as standing up to her abusive mother Gothel, or dealing with her responsibilities as the leader of her team.
Eugene’s partner is Kudamon. He’s The Mediator of the group. The voice of reason and common sense. His elemental is Wind. His nemesis is Lucemon, and his main vice is Pride, for his uses vanity to compensate for his low self esteem born from growing up in the foster system.
Cassandra’s digimon is Lunamon, and her rival is Leviamon. Her fatal flaw is Envy, for she’s jealous of Rapunzel. She’s The Second in Command; because she offers a counter balance to Rapunzel’s way of doing things, but they butt heads often. Her element is Darkness/Moon.
Varian is The Brains of the outfit. His digimon is Labramon, who can change to either a vaccine or virus upon evolution. However his main thematic element is Electricity. His nemesis is Daemon and his vice is Wrath. As the youngest in the group, he often feels unheard and will lash out in anger.
Lance is The Heart of the team, as he’s forever the optimist. His digimon is Otamamon and his element is Water. His rival is Beelzemon, and his fatal flaw is Gluttony, for he never had enough growing up in the foster care system, therefore he shows no restraint when given opportunities, even if it means hurting someone else.
Caine is The Muscle of the group. Her digimon, Goblimon, is a heavy hitter when he digivoles, and she’s the most likely to throw a punch against a monster on her own. Her enemy is Barbamon, and her vice is Greed. She’s criminal on the run for theft, but it’s a life she feels she was forced into. Her element is Metal/Ground.
Stalyan is The Chick, for lack of a better trope term. She’s daddy’s spoiled little rich girl who is in for a rude wake up call when she gets to the Digital World. Her digimon is Floramon and her element is Grass. Her rival is Laylamon and her fatal flaw is Lust. She’s in love with Eugene, but he doesn’t return her feelings. Her obsession with him, is tied to her own insecurities and desires for being accepted.
3. Prince Varian
Varian is Rapunzel’s little brother. He’s actually Arianna and Quirin’s son, but Frederic raised him as his own. Both are ignorant of Varian’s true parentage, with Varian just believing Quirin is his bodyguard/mentor.
Yet with the return of his long lost sister Varian feels even more out of place with in the Castle and keeps sneaking off to Old Corona to visit Quirin, who is now a retired knight, and to work on his experiments in secret.
Only the truth comes out after a horrible lab accident that traps Quirin in amber, and now Varian doesn’t know where he belongs.
4. Eugene is raised by Hector
Horace knows who he is and his duty to keep the moonstone safe. He has rarely traveled beyond the great tree. But he begins to question his entire place in the world when a group of travelers come in search of his family's treasure, with one of them claiming to be the living embodiment of the fabled Sundrop.
Since Eugene/Horace never left the Great Tree, he never became Flynn Rider, never stole the crown, and never met Rapunzel in the tower.
This means Rapunzel never leaves on her 18th birthday to see the lights, but her tower is destroyed by the black rocks six months later. Leaving her and Mother Gothel without a home.
While in search of a new place to live they meet, Varian, who is trying to figure out the mystery of the rocks, Cassandra, who is searching for the lost princess to prove her worth to her dad, and Lance, a thief who offers to be their guide in order to hide from the Stabbingtons who he owes money too.
The five of them go on a quest to find the moonstone when Varian shows them the piece of his father's scroll (who is not trapped in amber this time) much to the discouragement/disapproval of Mother Gothel.
Gothel tries to dismiss the legends of the moonstone while keeping her and Rapunzel's identities secret. (Everyone figures out she's the Sundrop/connected to the rocks right away, but not that's she's the lost princess) But as she can't be too far away from her precious flower for too long she gets dragged on the quest anyways.
Cue Gothel reluctantly becoming everyone's mama as she tries to keep them alive and convince Raps to give up this silly quest and find a new home, while also not letting it slip that she's really Cass's birth mother, nor the thief of the long lost princess, nor an ancient sorceress who betrayed a powerful demon in order to have eternal youth and said demon could come back to kill them all if released by the Sundrop touching the Moonstone.
Basically what I'm getting at is we have a scenario where a manipulative asshole who is desperately just trying to survive while not being caught in her web of lies, is slowly coming to care for a bunch of snot-nosed, bratty, insecure teenagers, and she hates it!
This also means that by the time the gang reaches the Great Tree, Rapunzel's and Eugene's roles are reversed. She's the experienced adventurer using him, though unintentionally on her part, to get what she wants, while unexpectedly falling in love, and he's the sheltered shut in who discovers that there's more to the world.
And just to complicate matters, King Frederic, Quirin, and Adria, team up to invade The Dark Kingdom in order to destroy the moonstone with Adria's sword. Quirin betraying his brother Edmund because he thinks Varian is dead from the rocks having destroyed their village/castle in the night.
5. Cassandra is the Dark Princess
I mean, I think this should have been cannon anyways, but Cassandra and Eugene are long lost siblings. Both are heirs to the Dark Kingdom and it's their mom who is left alive to guard the Moonstone.
Said Mom thought they were both lost when the kingdom fell, not knowing that their nurse saved them on the night Edmund went mad.
The Queen convinces Cassandra that protecting the moonstone from the Sundrop is her duty, believing that both coming together will destroy the world. Not realizing that Cass would actually grab it away from Raps in their fight over it and become possessed by Zahn Tiri in the process.

Finally A GIRL WAYNE
To the people of Gotham, it has finally happened, Brucie Wayne adopted a girl, YAY, that has been long over due, I mean I know you know that maybe the Wayne's stocks go up everytime those boys get a fan club but still.
This girl's name is Cassandra Cain. Now if you're an assassin or hitmen, you might think the name sounds familiar, ya it does, she's David Cain's daughter. The only reason I know about David Cain is because my ex-boss used to work with him as an informant. Honestly never liked the man, David and my ex-boss, he never paid overtime.
Cassandra is about 19 years old, I think this one is actually mute or selectively at the very least from the rumors sounds like she's as quiet as a mouse, she's also about 5'5 has short black hair, she also appears to be half-chinesse, I'm not completely too sure but rumor has it her mom isn't with her dad, so I assume she's a fling child. But I wonder what trauma she's went through cause let's be honest anyone who met David Cain with 20m pole knows he's not fatherly in the slightest.
Well what do you think about the Wayne's finally adding a girl to the roaster?

Adoption poll round 1 match 22
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cassandra Cain (DC Comics)
Lucy Heartfilia (Fairy Tail)
Gyutaro (Demon Slayer)
Only one will move on
Propaganda under the cut
Cassandra Cain (DC Comics) Propaganda
Her assassin parents can't seem to resist causing her extreme trauma and/or attempting to kill her and her loved ones. Also she's a quiet badass with a tragic backstory and if that's not Tumblr blorbo material I don't know what it
Lucy Heartfilia (Fairy Tail) Propaganda
Her mom died, and her dad was so Oof that she ran away the first chance she got. She made herself some friends at the Fairy Tail guild, and they came to rescue her when her dad hired some other dudes to kidnap her back home (yeah, not winning anyn"father of the year" awards). He does have a semi-redemption, but it's partial and weird and not very well done; he pays for her apartment when she's away for years, and sends a birthday gift every year, but he dies before she can properly decide if she forgives him or not. BUT - my point is, she has a dead mom (who was Good) and a dead dad (who was Crap) and she needs a parental figure (or more) that isn't a pervy old man, gone more often than not, or already dealing with canon offspring. Give her a decent parent to give her away at her post-canon wedding! (I don't know if she actually gets married, but she still deserves All The Opportunities.)
Gyutaro (Demon Slayer) Propaganda
Skrunkly demon man, funny laugh. He just wanted to protect his little sister. Bit of a grimy bastard, but loveable anyways. Also he has cool abilities and shark-like teeth are always a bonus. Had awful mom (was abusive), but still raised his little sister with love. 10/10 big bro.

A REVillage and RE7 BIOHAZARD story
A parent Donna Beneviento story w/Dimitrescu daughter's parring
You can choose pairing(Cassandra). Adopted daughter of Donna at age 8 Miranda found Carrie? running away from home scence Miranda has been watching her for awhile she takes her to Donna who she thought could use some company to maybe help them both heal from there trauma. Though weary after half a year they both become protective of each other and both open up Carrie? Meets the others Lord's who after learning of her and her past also become protective and this causes them to become like a real family maybe? After the meeting Alcina suggests that Carrie meets her daughters who are confused and unsure how to deal with the tiny (the sister's canon height is 6'4) and still slightly skittish human but after warming up to one another Carrie now has 3 OVERprotective(this is on purpose) murderous hive vampires though she is closest to Cassandra for obvious reasons. At age 16 Miranda reluctantly and with great protests from everyone sends Carrie into the outside world to learn and grow who at 18 gets into and accident and gets experimental treatment from umbrella so different strands of the virus with mold so a mix of Eveline and Wesker but is unstable though that is only found out later and she will need the candou to stabilise her it takes 2 years to complete. At age 20 she imprints on Mia(23) who is her handler and becomes like a guard/protector for her the events of RE7 happens but Eveline doesn't want Ethan(best friend/sibling not husband Mia took his family name) as a dad cause she has 2 moms 3 if you count Zoe who is Rosemary's second mom(Carrie and Ethan are Godparents) at the end of RE7 Eveline gives her powers to Carrie and reveals that she is unstable and thet her body is constantly breaking and regenerating so she won't age or die. 2 years later at 22 she Mia and Ethan all live together with baby Rose she can tell that Mia is not Mia but can't do anything cause she was asked/ordered to act like nothing is happening by Mia. While Mia is with her Miranda learns of what happened to her granddaughter? and is not happy that she was experimented on and is unstable and says she will give Carrie the candou when she gets to the village. Cue Start of REVillage(not really) but the village is still standing and the lycans only patrol for outsiders and threats while the villagers hide so as not to get attacked. Ethan is captured and Carrie who was with him and saw it all followed to the church where a meeting w/Mia was going on cue happy Carrie who tackles Donna in a hug after checking on Mia and Rose. When Carrie and the sisters meet again they are proud that she is strong confused because she is no longer tiny though still short compared to them(I'm 5'5 so her height is based on that) and concerned because she is strong and might not need them(mainly Cassandra on this one) You can take it from here.

My favorite hc is that Zatanna is basically every batfam member favorite aunt.
She met Dick when he was first adopted and he loved her show so much and even asked to play her assistant once, she teaches him a few tricks like escaping a shark thank, he called her to asked for advice when he went to his first date because Alfred and Bruce were useless. Dick attended to both her parents funeral and brought flowers to put on the grave.
She loved Jason enthusiasm and loved to pamper him with normal stuff that kids are suppose to do like take him to the movies and buy him ice cream. He was not into magic, but loved when she gifted him silly things that made Bruce annoyed. He was sweet enough to always ask her to dance in every Wayne Gala that she attended. When he came back from the dead she felt the change on his aura and was absolutely heartbroken by it, but she’s still the only one allowed to call him Jay and she always invites him to her shows with a sweet note, even though he never shows up he keeps it every single one.
Although she loves every single one of them, Tim is secretly her favorite (everyone always thinks Dick’s her favorite). She was stunned how he figured out everything about Batman as a kid, he was so curious about everything and made her so many questions all the time. She would often invite him to Shadowcrest, open her library so he could explore and have some tea. She also calls him a lot to ask how he’s doing, if he had been sleeping enough, threatening him to make his coffee taste like sour milk if he doesn’t take care of himself. He opened to her about his sexuality first and she made a sweet speech about how much she loved him and she was proud and if anyone messed with him she would hex them forever.
Damian was surprised that his brothers had such an affection with her, but quickly understood why. She charmed him slowly, bribing him with magical creatures until he finally opened up to her. He likes to spent time at Shadowcrest too (something that inspires Tim to be a bit jealous sometimes and she teases both of them for it), but hates visiting her on San Francisco. She likes to make him watch animated movies that he pretends to hate first and then talks about the whole day. They also try a lot of vegetarian recipes together, because Zatanna and Damian are the only two people Alfred allows to come close to his kitchen. If everything goes wrong the just order take out and take notes on how to do better next time. He also has her on speed dial in case something happens to Goliath.
She loves watching Cassandra’s ballet concerts. Zee is so sweet about her difficult with communicating, always leaving her comfortable. She often attempts to kidnap her to a girls day, since she never could it with the previous boy, but Cass is not very used to it. She asked for Zatanna’s help when she went on a date with Conner Kent.
She thinks Duke is the sweetest of them all. She had the privilege of reading some of the stuff he wrote and thinks he is a literary genius. He doesn’t understand much about magic, but she teach him a lot about control, how easy is to lose control when you have this kind of power at hand. She’s also very attentive to his school, always asking how he’s handling.
They annoy Bruce to the most to always invite her to perform on the Galas. They are not very good on picking gifts, but they always sent sweet birthday wishes to her. They asked Alfred to do her favorite meal when she’s coming over. They think the rumours about her and Bruce dating are funny, but also disgusting, but if the media asks them something they show support so Zatanna calls them angrily demanding they take it back. They are also very nosy on her life always asking who she’s dating and she always tells them to get a life. Whenever someone comments she is old enough to be Dick’s mom she threatens to hex them.
She is so proud of them, she loves them so much and they love her. SHE’S THEIR AUNT ZEE.
