i don’t think people really appreciate how smart neil josten really is. in the very first chapter, before kevin had even walked into the room, he figured out he was going to. he realised that betsy was ocd immediately. he speaks like every european language. he was literally the only person that was able to read andrew. and, most impressively, HE WAS ON THE RUN FROM THE MAFIA ON HIS OWN, AND THEY DIDN’T FIND OUT WHO HE WAS UNTIL HE WANTED THEM TO. neil is not as ‘dense’ as you guys make him out to be.

my opinion on “does joffrey know about the incest” is that he honestly genuinely does not suspect a god damn thing UNTIL the big blow up when his father dies. the combo of ned doing All Of That when he’d previously been so politically inactive + stannis AND renly crowning themselves is all the confirmation he needs for all the weird shit he’s seen throughout his life to click into place but what EYE think clicks into place is “oh this bitch SEDUCED my WEAK and INNOCENT MOTHER from my AMAZING father????” and from then on he’s praying robb kills jaime before the war ends.

I love Devil May Cry because you start out with Dante and you're like "wow this guy's an idiot. surely his brother isn't nearly as dumb as him" and then it turns out that Vergil is infinitely more stupid

Honestly, the most shocking part of the plagiarism accusations is not even the plagiarism itself. I knew people plagiarized stuff, even if I didn't know who. The most shocking part is sheer lack of opinions.
I don't understand. You are interested enough by a subject that you read so much material to plagiarize, but for some reason, during this entire process, you do not form A Thought? Not a single one? I have opinions about the shit the people in front of me in the plane are talking about! I can not imagine actively consuming a significant amount of content and not having three times as many opinions!!! What is your brain! Are you a lizard??? What the heck is going on up there?? Do you lack the joy of Pondering and Considering and Creating????? I kinda just thought those were inherent human traits!

was just thinking about how amazing it is that weird wonderful world and ghost files exist at the same time from the same company. you have the same minds, the same hosts, the same team and yet the shows are like day and night. www reminds us of the wonder and whimsy and joy all around us while ghost files showcases the world's darker side in its tragedies and horrors. and that they're able to execute both shows each with its own finely-tuned aesthetic and its own little universe is really a beautiful display of how much Talent and Love exists at watcher and it's so so special.

Steve harrington is fucking good in Chess, he could easily go to Chess Olympics and get in the top 10 best players.
He started playing when he was around 6-7, his nonna teach him with and old and beautiful chess board made of wood, the pieces of chess where shiny and not made with the traditional black and white and materials, no, they where made of a green bright stone that he can’t remember the name, and the other half where bones of animals that where already dead.
Steve was the one who ask to play someday, and nonna excited access to teach him. He was good, a natural you can say, and he enjoyed so much, that every time he was at nonna’s house, they play, not always following the rules, sometime they change them and makes originals, with backstory’s and wars. But nonna dies when he was 12 and he stop playing, even so he remember how to play.
Now, the chessboard and the pieces are save in an old oak box with the carving “Stevie and Nonna Lina chessboard.”

i think sacred music in the kryn dynasty would be very cyclical and repetitive in form to symbolize the idea that life is a continuous thing (at least those who are consecuted right right) and is a cycle across lifetimes and yeah

Oh yes, many times. Mostly as a padawan when they were still fairly clumsy but it still happens occasionally!

1.10 "Asylum" is literally just an episode all about Dean being smart and perceptive as fuck.
He finds a hidden journal in a false wall.
He reads the journal and uses it to unravel the entire narrative of the haunting by himself before meeting up with Sam again.
He determines what likely happened to Dr. Allicot (killed by his patients in his own torture room).
Based on that hunch he finds the hidden torture room in a room Sam had already checked.
He tricks a ghost-influenced Sam into taking his unloaded pistol so he can get the drop on him and knock him unconscious.
He notices Dr. Allicot's hair sticking out of the side of a cabinet and uncovers his body.
While Dr. Allicot is actively attempting to infiltrate Dean's mind, despite the fact that he very much does have hidden resentments/anger, Dean resists long enough to torch Dr. Allicot's bones.
